[Music] the nation is shaken because the presence of the lord is real my land of nativity my great nation that i love the land of america a blessed land [Music] to all people to all nations to all that we have a uh one of our members who we haven't seen in a while the lord have taken over to the cayman islands but he's here spending some time with us let us welcome paul halton how can let us another side of the vineyard but he's moving her back slowly in the name of jesus i tell you great oh man standing from here and looking at you it's such a blessing let's give god a high note of praise again for that and we thank god for our new uh newborn baby that's in the house this morning let's give god praise for that young thomas young young joash thomas to the glory of god let god privilege for me to welcome our newlywed couple when it comes to marriage it does i get very excited about marriage because it's a covenant unto the lord and it builds up the kingdom of god this i come from london and i was brought here by the love of my wife and so now i've moved from london to saint thomas and this is my first time of worshiping with you here and i'm so glad i'm here because bible says that we should not forsake the gathering of the brethren and being here with you is fulfilling scripture and we give glory to god amen praise god thank you minister amen and our apostle amen it's it's such an honor and a privilege to be here today um just seeing minister eunice worship and i remember when i asked her to join the praise and worship team and also pastor gail as well uh we ministered together and it was such a blessing to come back and to see that they're still going on and still powerful as before i'm just so blessed of god for what he's done god did it uh you know i waited on god and there were many opportunities to step out on my own but let me tell you the bible says they that wave up on the lord he shall renew their strength they will mount up so you can't mount up yourself you have to wait and then you mount up with wings as eagle you'll run and not be wary now that's that's a miracle how can you run and not be wary but if you wait you'll want to not be wary i'm not the preacher god bless thank you very much let's give god a high note of praise i love this cup of glory to god as a matter of fact this is a tender plan that i've grown up morning and father we continue to pray for those of us who have stewardship over it will look to you how to use the tithes and offer for the benefits and the advancement of your kingdom and to be a your last just imagine that as you enter the door then i mean it is it for you you probably just gonna just disappear die probably um end up in a place that you never think that you would be in but just imagine that this is your last moment and this is the last chance that you have to give god what you got how do you want to be remembered in the last moment that he has given you breath so when you [Music] and see sometimes what kind of hold us is our pride because we don't want anybody to see um [Music] to see us breaking down when we feeling like we really need to let loose and just give him praise the way that we feel like so even though the spirit is pinching us to lose ourself and to shout and to shake our wigs off we just thinking about what people is going to say and what we are going to look like but there comes a time in your life when you would realize it doesn't matter whether your hair fall off or it doesn't matter whether your teeth fall out in that moment those things are not gonna matter because what you're pushing for is gonna be bigger than what people would be thinking in that moment about you so now that you have breath in your body don't wait until you get to that stage when you will actually look in this pose but now is the opportune time to really show god that i don't need to be in a crisis i don't need to be in a position where kobe hit me and i'm on my dying bed and i'm just right there balling for your mercy in my good health i am more than qualified to give you an exuberant praise to express myself gloriously on to you in my good health i don't need to wait until i am broke to give you thanks for food know that i have sufficient in my cupboard i want to just give you the glory i don't wait to me for somebody to bless me know that i'm blessed i just want to give you the glory now [Music] you don't have to wait now is the time because we don't know what is going to happen [Music] in the next minute the next moment from now you know i know that we we we have the saying that um i want to wait until it it comes through so that i can testify of his goodness but now is the time to begin to testify now is the time to begin to celebrate i don't need to see it come through because my faith have already convinced me and remind me that this has already came through i have not just got there yet to actually receive what he has given to me so i'm not praising him because of what is coming through i'm praising him because of what he have already allowed [Applause] so i'm trusting god so that our minds will get to where his mind is so we are not trying to play ketchup and actually treat him like we are putting him on condition that until this happened i can't really celebrate fully but i'm celebrating you fully because i know that you are who you say you are you have already done what you say that you will do and i'm not worrying about what is going to happen next i don't have it in my hand but i believe that i have everything that i need until i get there so this morning um i kind of want to in our colloquial language back in sin vincent i say humbug you you know because i i somewhat feel like as christians we have gotten to a place where where we have lost sight of truly who god is we pretend like we know him but we really don't know him we try to convince people that we know him but we truly really don't really know the god as as um mahatma gandhi said that if christians believe in the god that they preach people will crawl and grasp battle for what they are offering and i'm at a place where i'm almost convinced right now that the god that we preach about because that god as far as i can tell is a mighty mighty mighty mighty big big big god [Applause] and the things that we do the things that we say the way that we think and the way that we process convinces me that we don't know the god that we are telling people about because when i think about how he works and how he operates it has brought me to the place to begin to try to wrap my mind around why is it that he said that he is let me use what we know a healer and that our household in the body of christ in saint thomas alone just a very small fragment of the body of christ is fractured broken wounded and he is not just a healer but be healer he have healing in his wings it troubles me every time i i think about this god and every time i look at where i am at and where we are at it troubles me that we truly truly don't really know the god that we truly say that we are serving praise god praise god praise god tell you i want to hamburg you this morning if you have a bible study with me into the book of matthew chapter 16. let me finally say amen so the bible said from verse 13 when jesus came into the course of caesarea philippi he asked his disciples saying whom do men say that i the son of man am and they said some say that thou art john the baptist some say elias and others say jeremiah or one of the prophets can he begin to make the question a little bit more personal he said who do you say whom do you say that i am and simon peter and suddenly said the word the christ the son of the living god and jesus answered and said unto him blessed are simon barjona for flesh and blood had not revealed it on today but my father which is in heaven and i say also on today that thou art peter and upon this rock i will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it verse 19 and i will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven and whatsoever thou shalt bind in and on the earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever shalt thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven thank you for blessing your word oh god for your word is a blessed word glory to god give honor to god again this morning i bless pastor leonard and jim pastor of the house all the ministers and all our visiting friends this morning god bless you praise god as i said that i'm almost convinced that we truly don't know the god that we declare to be god and i have many reasons why i i'm in that state of mind and every time i try to dig every time i try to swatch it is bringing me back to one place who really is this god who is this guy a few months ago i got into a business that i was introduced to and i found it to be a very interesting business so i expose it to some other people because i think in that it is it is good so i can share it right there is something that is unique about this company that it has over 300 plus thousand members within the company and there is only one message it doesn't matter who is presenting the information be it somebody from africa the caribbean india the message remains the same the reason why the message remains the same is because everyone who becomes a part of the company understood what the company is offering they understood the product that the company is actually pushing and backing so anywhere you go in this company you will find that these people are sharing the very same information they might have different style they might have different tastes but the information is the very same and then when we come and we look into this world of christianity we then find that there is one company there is one god that we declare to be the one god but the funny thing is is that we have so many different messages as a result of so many different messages we have so many different denominations within the christian religion and then you ask yourself what is wrong with the god that we represent that the company is fragmented let me just back it up a little bit so that you can kind of have an understanding of where we're going this morning over 2000 years ago there was this guy named jesus who came to earth to represent this company called the kingdom of heaven so he came and the bible said in luke chapter 3 and just about verse 21 that he was standing in line waiting to be baptized by john and if you read that you will see that john was there baptizing other people and he got by the river just in time and he was right there standing in line waiting to be baptized and while he was there waiting the bible said that he was in prayer and i'm purposefully using the word prayer this morning because one thing that god has shown me over the past three months is is two things basically this this house has actually been focusing and putting which is prayer and forgiveness but i don't know how well we have been applying prayer and forgiveness into our daily lives you know so jesus was there and he was praying and remember he's representing the kingdom of god he is representing this company his intention his game is basically to share this company with the world he stood there by the river and then while he was there what eventually happens is that he came up to john to be baptized but while he was getting baptized the bible said he was in prayer everyone else who were in front of him i don't know if they were in prayer but i do know that they actually got baptized by john but when jesus went up to get baptized because he was in prayer the bible said while he was praying and the heavens open and then the spirit of the lord came upon him in the form of a dove right there and god announced that this is my son which is going to show in me that he is our example of what the kingdom of god looks like he is the one who decided the 12 that he was going to choose because he need to have some strong legs under him that is going to continue what he started so after he got baptized by john church i wanted to understand he was anointed because isaiah 61 prophesied him that he would be anointed to preach the gospel he will set captivity captive and he will open prison doors for those who are bound but god and that day show that he was anointed because the spirit of the lord came upon him it is crazy for you to actually go preaching and not being anointed by god man might position you and man might call you and set you your emotion but if god ain't anoint you then you won't be able to be effective the way that jesus was so he was there and he was anointed by god himself on that day because it was prophesied but instead of him walking out of the water and going to preach the gospel he decided that preaching wasn't time for it as yet so the bible said he will drew himself into the wilderness to fast for 40 days and 40 nights understand what is happening he was anointed to preach but he refused to take up the mantra then after he was baptized but because he understood that there is something greater that i need to understand before i take the pulpit so he will through himself into the wilderness where he fasted for 40 days and 40 nights in the 40 days and 40 nights he might ask yourself the question what he doing what is it that he was doing you remember that i just told you that jesus said to peter i am giving you the keys of the kingdom i'm giving you the keys of the kingdom that whatever you're buying here will be bound in heaven whatever you lose here will be loose in heaven what i'm going to do is that i'm going to do for you what god has done for me so when he pulled it into the wilderness church what he was doing in the wilderness he was exploring the kingdom that he was coming to present because until you understand what is in the kingdom you won't be able to share with anybody what is in that kingdom so for 40 days and 40 nights he was checking out the chambers he was going to and see which key opened the door to healing which he opened the door to salvation which he opened the door to deliverance and he keep going through so that because when the time comes and healing is demanding of him he won't be fumbling for keys you have already been through it you have already studied it and you see that is the problem with us when they anoint us we take the mic and we start preaching but we're preaching something that we really don't know because we have not spent time trying to get to understand what it is so we are practicing on the job making all kind of faith by the time we catch ourselves we have our required more destruction than good so jesus went and he studied how the kingdom of god works in its entirety because he understood that when he begins to share the kingdom of god that whatever he shares is what the people is going to run with so if we share a gospel that is falling if we share a gospel that has flaws the young babes are going to hold on to that and grow with that in their system and they are going to be flawed but when we share and present the right gospel that jesus presented that's what they would grow with and understand what the kingdom of god is truly like so he was baptized and then he pulled away from the crowd because he realized that i can preach until i have studied and learned to know what the kingdom of heaven is he was god and you might be saying that he knows what it is but he was man he needed to understand what it is because the fact that it is keys that have been given and not a key it means that there are more than one door more than one lack that you need to fully understand which key is going to open that door so understand church that when jesus came back can i just humbly say this that he was the he was the master of network marketing he was the master of network marketing he started with sharing the kingdom of heaven with 12 boys and today there are millions billions probably that is actually following that part so when he came back from the wilderness he didn't realize what his mission was so he went down to the beach and he found three fishermen and this is this was his sales pitch come on follow me and i will make you fishes of men you see you got to understand your audience you can't go tell the fisherman's and make you farmers because they will be thinking farming and i know nothing about farming talk to me about fishing so he told them come on follow me i will make you fishers of men it simply means for people to give up their livelihood to follow a man that they knew nothing about whatever he was presenting had to be really really really good there is nobody who is going to make me give up my day's job unless what you're offering me is something that is way better then what i'm already in so he said to them follow me and i will make you fishers of men they probably were doing well as fishermen you know because they were export in the field but jesus said to the boys that what you are doing is necessary but not important you will feed hungry bellies but they will go hungry again you will touch lives but you will not change lives so they begin to understood where he was coming from because jesus was not was not just about touching you he was about changing you for he realized that when you are changed into who he wants you to be you become a brand new vessel you become more dangerous and more little to the kingdom of darkness because when he comes in you and you begin to look like him then the devil will understand that you're not just a regular man but what concerns me church is the fact that after he shared it with the 12 disciples because i understand he's sharing the kingdom that's the product he's offering the kingdom of heaven that's what he came to restore in the earth i know that he came to die and give all of our salvation and all those nice good stuff but the real purpose why he came here was to restore the kingdom that was taken from man so that man can have those keys again where man can enjoy the full privilege of god here in the earth so he's sharing a product but check this when jesus shows up to any given situation be it somebody sick or somebody dead or one of his disciples mother is roasting with kobe and he showed up to that situation if you check the scriptures clearly you don't find jesus praying for the person or the people what he did in that moment is that he opened the kingdom of heaven and said this is sickness means that i need to access the chamber of healing so when he take out the key of healing open that door then he can present to you what you need you need healing here goes your healing what the people in our time do today when somebody is sick or broken or wounded and we show up we begin to shun that out of a handle rather you see the difference there but jesus the bible said he showed up by the pool asked him and how long have you been here sir and he said sir i've been here for 38 years because i had no man to put me in when the water is troubled so that i can receive my healing jesus said to the man sir rise up and walk what's going on there but when we come somebody come and say how long have you been sick twenty five years so ratok horrible sander next week same person back before you i rebuke you in the name of jesus the other week same thing and ten years later same person same situation same problem but let me show you this secret you see jesus understood the importance of the kingdom of heaven he knows which key opens what door so he wasn't struggling when a time for demonstration because he spend his time in prayer at home before he goes to the battlefield pastor vantapoul you want to talk to me about how important training is in the military because when you go on the battlefield this in time to be cleaning your weapon this is time to be lighting up the enemy and remove him from his target you see we always want to try to clean our weapon and maintain our weapon when we show up for battle but that is the wrong time we need to understand timing that when someone shows up with an informity we're supposed to be in a position where we can demonstrate the fullness of god so that god can get the glory the person can be blessed and the church can be edified [Applause] so check it out right so jesus was doing all of this stuff and then jesus told peter i am going to give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven understand he never told him that i am going to give you the keys to the kingdom when you give somebody keys to you're giving them access but jesus didn't want to give these boys access he want to give them authority so when he give them the keys of the kingdom he's saying i am putting this kingdom in your charge you are now over this kingdom you are now in position and power of this kingdom i'm not just giving you keys to enter into a door i'm giving you the authority over so that you can open up to the world and let them know the kingdom of god is ready to receive you so jesus gave them the keys of the kingdom and then jesus we died going in the grave out of the grave up to heaven and now 12 disciples in church let's see what they got 12 disciples in church and they have the key of the kingdom so peter and john wonder the bible said walked up was going to church it wasn't even a sunday was a wednesday they were going to church and this man was right there begging them sir can you give me a dollar please and the men got their attention and they stopped and they turned around and they said sir we ain't got no money but how we got us some keys and i'm gonna give unto you right now healing in the name of jesus the man then they get up and he was never begging again because he got something that he was not asking for you see what happened jesus passed it on they received it because they asked jesus in luke chapter 11 and verse 1. they say lord i want you to teach us how to pray because they realize it wasn't the miracle that they were after they were after the secret you see us when you are new in the christian world or when you're new with christ you get all fascinated with the miracles with the healing the signs the wonders and you you don't even stop to think how did that happen so when they were with jesus they were excited when they see somebody get healed they begin to tell everybody come and follow this man come on follow this man this is the man and then they stay with him a little longer and a little longer and then they begin to realize that this is normal but there has to be something that makes this work and they realize every time they saw him he was somewhere somewhere calling on his god somewhere lifting up holy hands somewhere crying before his father and then they realized that john did the same thing so now they know i'm not after the miracles anymore i'm not after the healing anymore let those things come after me what i'm after is the secret that christ used and that was prayer the first time we saw him in action the heavens were open on to him you see when we get lost in pray i'm not just talking about just opening your mouth and beginning to other words because the bible speaks of effective forebrand prayer an effective father and prayer cannot be possible if your life is not in coordination with christ you cannot be in a situation where you cannot forgive your friends your brothers and sisters for the bible say if i have inequity in my heart i can pray the prayer of faith but he will not hear me it's a church jesus passed it on to his disciples his disciples passed it on to their disciples and by the time it gets to me i don't know what happened because i tried it many times i try to pray for people and i believe i'm praying in the in in faith and in the name of jesus but i see them coming back the same way so i don't know what happens when it gets to us because what we are reading about is not what we are experiencing so it troubles me that we are satisfied with where we are it is simply that the pattern is after he got baptized and the spirit of the lord came upon him he would show himself for 40 days trying to understand the kingdom of god how can you tell somebody about a product that you have not fully experienced how can you share something that you have not lived yourself how can you tell me that jesus heals his saves and he delivers and you are still walking breaking up in sickness and it is not that he's not healing because he's working somewhere else in the world because someone knows the secret see you got to understand what the disciples did because if you know peter's personality i always speak on peter because he was a very free-spirited person very passionate and he's always excited you know high type personality and a person who's that personality type is not very rational they just they're just spontaneous they just do things in the moment they feel it and they do it but even peter got to the place where he realized yeah the miracles gets attention the healing that gets attention raising the dead gets attention but i need to move beyond getting attention and get to the place where i am not being seen so that when i arrive that attention will get me and i'm not looking for it so he shared a product that was real that was true his disciples the bible say that the way of uncourted they didn't even open them out the way of handculture they pass by and they sweat falling and people and people are breaking up they open their mouth to preach and people can't resist but running for salvation and then he got to seeing thomas and none of us knows what happened none of us knows what happened because what is it that we want to be seen are to be hard or is it that we just don't understand how this kingdom works if i'm going to preach something i need to study that thing i need to be a master of that thing a salesman never come trying to sell you a product that they knows nothing about if i need someone to fix my luck i'll call a locksmith if i have someone who is sick i will call a healer thank you jesus here it is you see jesus was the healer that's why he wasn't standing up before the people and saying lord i asked you to heal this person i wanted to catch it you know but we come and we say lord i want you to heal x y and z and then the lord respond i am not the healer i am the source of the healing you are the healer you need to go and heal the person i've never seen god heal anybody i've always seen god use somebody or something to create the healing i've never seen god feed anybody yeah i know you will look like you look at me just like that yeah you pray to god for the food and he didn't come down and scoop it out of the bowl and put it in your mouth elijah wanted the food he sent a raven he is the source of the thing but he's not going to do anything that hands and feet can do so when jesus showed up by lazarus grave and he and they wanted him to heal lazarus jesus stood up there and jesus said roll the stone away i can't do that because this is something that you can do but i will do that which you cannot do we need to understand how the kingdom operates we have to spend time trying to figure out god and trying to understand the keys that has been given to us how the work which door they open so that we can open the doors when the doors need it to be open for somebody it doesn't make sense that we have keys to a kingdom and it's just locked up and people is waiting to come in it doesn't make sense that we are healers and people are sick it doesn't make sense that we have millions of dollars and people are hungry then we are not fulfilling purpose it is time that we get to understand how this kingdom of god that jesus shared with peter james and john and those are the nine disciples that they're shared with that they're shared with that they're shared with and they're shared with until they reach them here we need to understand how that works so that when we show up for church this would not be that pastor thomas is going to be ministering at 10 o'clock in the morning but this is gonna be that somebody in the congregation is hearing god moving on a thing and need to demonstrate what god is saying and doing in that moment i'm just getting started george see i have four pages there ain't gone yet you know let's get them started so we're gonna be here early today but i just want to challenge us this morning that what jesus did he did that so he can show us how it is done so we can also do that which he has done that we can then in turn teach our children how it is done so they can do even more than what we have done because this is really crazy that jesus used a sales pitch to attach himself and jaw fishermen and we are still using the same pitch in 2021 and hoping it's gonna work we are not evolving we are not changing gays we are holding on to something that is ancient the gospel never changes the method that is being used has to evolve so which means that we have to be in position that if christ was here now what is it that he would be using to sell or to present the gospel to a generation of young people who seems not interested what is it that he would be using to do a pitch to those people who thinking that there should be dual sex what is it that he would be using to send a pitch to the government house there must be a sales pitch for every situation for every people we cannot use the same thing for everybody got to know your audience got to know your audience glory to god let us stand all over this place this morning praise the lord [Music] i know that god is a very good god [Music] but the thing is that god is not satisfied when he sees children fighting and working hard and have to be doing the same thing over and over again and not getting any results he is not satisfied what pleases god is when we show up on the scene and we become demonstrators of the kingdom of him is when we show up on the scene and we are true representation of the kingdom of heaven that people know that if i need healing i know where to go if i need money i know where to go because i know where it is if i need a break should i know who to call [Music] when lazarus was sick so bad [Music] mary and her sister they didn't call nobody else they didn't have any mobile phone and they didn't have any plane at the time but they find a way because they know who to call [Music] we are in a crisis church and i'm attacking covert 19 we are in a crisis where the body of christ [Music] has lost its savor the effectiveness that's supposed to be in the body has vanished and we need to know who to call so that we can have that back in the church i'm not talking about good messages now and good teaching and good preaching but i'm talking about demonstration where people in this community know when there is a crisis they know where to go when there is a hurricane the government called fema in new york here not a call on fema because fema have what the people need but there are people around us that is walking and dying and they don't know where to go we need to rise up church we need to rise up and become who he say that we are understand that he has given us keys authority and power of the kingdom of god just imagine that that storeroom is full of food [Music] and there is that door and right here are so many hungry bellies [Music] and i have authority to go and get that food but i don't know how to open the door everybody dies and the food is boiling we need to understand what god has given to us we need to understand how the keys works and how it open doors so that we can begin to tap into what god has given to us he's given it and every day we keep begging for him begging him for all kind of different things give me this lord give me that and god is saying i've already given you the keys don't you understand that you are in charge [Music] don't you understand if you say that that thing is bind it is bond [Music] don't you understand if you lose those chains they are loose and you ask me for that i've given them to you find a way to use them find a way to use begin to seek the face of god close your eyes this morning cause i believe all of us inside here is safe close your eyes this morning there's really no need for an altar call this moment is really the need here right now is for your heart my heart to be reaching out to god that we can walk away today with an understanding knowing that he has already done it [Music] and we don't need to ask him for it we just only need to begin to demonstrate it so i'm gonna give you a moment to reach out to god this morning [Music] to open up yourself before him knowing that he is all sufficient [Music] [Music] so faster than that [Music] let's remain in a few moments unto the lord this morning as we reflect back on the messenger of god [Music] what you mean attitude of worship [Music] actually it's a attitude of thanksgiving
