some more breaking news here. This time in San Francisco. Law enforcement there have surrounded a home with a barricaded man inside. KTVU Christien Kafton joins us live with the latest on this breaking story. Christian >> Yeah. Andre, a very large police presence. Most of this developing up here. If you look up the block and around the corner, we're about a block and a half away from where this story is developing. As you said, there is a large law enforcement presence here. Dozens of San Francisco sheriffs deputies and police officers all on scene, and there are multiple tactical teams that have filled the entire area. Let's go and show you some video of what it looked like when we first arrived on scene at around 1045 this morning. Now, here's what we know so far. This apparently started as an attempt to evict someone from a home near the area of 14th and Roosevelt, and that's near Buena Vista Park in the city. We're hearing that that person may have fired at least one shot when law enforcement was on scene. We're working to get more details about that and verify that information officially. But that is what law enforcement sources have told me. In background. Now, at this point, a major call went out bringing in dozens of officers and deputies who closed off the area here, officers using nearby McKinley elementary School as a command post. Now, we have heard officers on bullhorns asking for a man to come to the window saying that they want to help him, at this point, we've not heard about any efforts to go into the home and get that man out. Now, in similar cases, officers have simply waited outside trying to de-escalate the situation until that subject is ready to turn themselves in. That may be what they're doing in this situation as well. For now, though, anybody coming through the area, as you can see, coming back to our live shot, you can see that this whole area is closed off. So if your drive takes you around this area, if your commute takes you around this area, be aware that also impacting Muni lines, which run through the area, in particular the 37 Muni line. So again, here's what we know so far. At least one man barricaded into a home here. We have heard nobody has been injured at this point. We are hearing that one shot may have been fired.
