F1 23 | ASSIST VS NO ASSISTS? *ABS IS FASTER??*

hey guys it's me Wilson and we're back for another video on f123 my third video on iPhone 23 and today I wanted to do a video as you can see by the title um on no assists assists so I'm not really sure I'm going to structure this I'm kind of just winging it I don't know if I should do it in the sense to have every assist off and then test ABS versus no ABS test tracks controllers no traction control or what so I probably should ask how to do this but whatever way I'm probably going to try every assist at one point and then I'm going to compare tracks Universal traction ABS first that I'm not going to be doing manual gears and stuff because that's pretty self-explanatory you're obviously going to be slower on automatic gears um racing line that's not really an actual driving it that's just if you can be bothered learning break markers you do driving lane so uh yeah let's go into time trial I'm going to use the the what cards do we use I don't think it's equal I don't think the equals actually work so let's just uh we'll put equal performance on but I don't think it works we'll do Bahrain right so we're in the garage uh we'll just use yeah we just use the preset three let's yeah okay we'll use the preset three we'll go I've actually not done any laps today so I might need to warm up a bit um it's very hot in Scotland very hot understood that's followed the Mavericks [Music] I shouldn't be inside when it's this hot things I do just to upload a YouTube video my first breaking point of the day and I went straight on so that's always great right okay I think I'll do one more lap and hopefully I can just do a clean and commented lap which is I'll just drive fairly safe it can't be that bad it's not involved it's absolutely valve that is valid we don't care it's valid and aerobics is filed there and here I think we're seven seconds off the base [Music] look at that look at that you see that everyone you see that oh I keep going deep not used to that's what he's understeer I'm not gonna light right seven tenths up I could probably go a lot quicker than this lap but for the sake of the video we're just gonna have an average lap so yeah 18 sub that can't be had I mean I don't get it wrong it's not a great time 30.2 that'll do for the sake of the video I've only done two laps on then that's my first two lapse today so now we're gonna go into settings and we're gonna put should we pick both of them on okay we're gonna put ABS on and see what that's like now I feel like this is actually a lot more difficult to drive with than without because you can just plan the brake pedal which I'm really not used to oh my gosh I feel so unusual I'm not gonna lie [Music] I might need to do a few laps in this to get used to because yeah this is really unusual oh I think it feels better through there I'm not gonna lie [Music] [Music] that is crazy if I wasn't on ABS there I saw the locked up and went straight on what the hell that is wild [Music] oh I don't understand [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh my gosh [Music] not gonna lie it was a lot before wasn't great at all but abs the corners I feel like I should be locking up obviously I'm not locking up that because I've got abs but that is crazy like that is so easy you just I'm Trail breaking and you shouldn't be Trail breaking less powerful but either way I'm actually very surprised at how op this is crazy man I do think I could go quicker without ABS as I'm used to Trail breaking for the last however many years and unless you're not really make the trail break you're gonna just meant to plant it but it just feels so unnatural to me that I don't really think they can give her oh the rewrite slid there see that is really weird like the rearrange slides but you don't lock up it's like you get this burst of rotation but you can't spin I'm not gonna lie I think if you're to really Mastery base this would be very op make of that of what you will I think I definitely could go quicker than that without ABS let's try uh traction control medium I'm not going to do field because that's 100 slower and if you're using fill please I beg just go to medium it's not that difficult you can get there if you really try we're gonna go some medium and let's see how this is we're just gonna use the current lap run right now um I have a feeling we might want to put the brake price back up I think did that on EBS off yeah definitely does yeah this feels [Music] yeah this uh [Music] tractors oh I keep forgetting how much you can plant it yeah this does not feel quicker no way [Music] okay let's try to a proper lap let's see what happens [Music] oh as I go straight on but let's see if the traction control can make up for we're just gonna plant it oh yeah you have snaps babe brings it back very well and Kenya does what it's meant to be fair which most of the assists have done after all F1 is a casual player it's not a simulator by enemies [Music] go a bit deep there I mean I'm surprised by how decent it actually is I feel like it should be a little bit oh I wouldn't do I just planted here what does it do I guess we went deep so roll's gonna lose time [Music] okay yeah I definitely take medium attraction to slow because yeah yeah just a slower there's no way I just can't do the same exits I can't like turn the car the way I wanted to so the moral of the story is you're in medium attraction get off traction and abs together I think overall you would definitely be slower um but ABS I will have to say it's pretty op by the looks of it uh it's definitely not bad I'll put it that way again I don't know how it was last game but it definitely isn't bad I'm gonna try to do some laps now on gnosis and see what I can do compared to that ABS time see if I can beat it which I hope I can uh because that was like my fourth lap of the day so let's see what happens that's always great oh look at that okay to be fair you can drift a lot easier without even abs [Music] [Music] all right oh no I said it feels so much better look at the way the car just wants to rotate around the corner compared to the guide ABS I might be taking back what I said about ABS I'm not gonna lie [Music] this is actually just our first back on first lap back on no assist he's a bit dodgy through there but okay no ABS I don't know oh I just went down turn you're an accident that really messed up right moreover store I think I think the conclusion is conclusion is that was my first slap back on without assists after like 15 minutes of driving with assists I think how did I say this I think if you completely turn off every assist and maximize it it's quicker but ABS is very very good from what I saw there's some Corners you'd go through and I don't think I was maximizing the use of almost like exploiting the ABS I don't think I was maximizing it so I think if you used ABS properly like very well you could be just as quick maybe if not a little bit off um but that also comes into the point without ABS you're able to drift so much easier you can lock the rear racks a little bit slide around the corner yes it's not realistic but that's how this game is so yeah it's a bit of a balanced make of that take of that of what you will traction I feel that's a hundred percent slower add them two together I think you're definitely slow if you add them two together um but yeah that's the moreover story so guys that is gonna be that is going to be the end of the video as you can see I added a great on my face is there as well that is going to be the end of the video make of that video of what you will I've never I've used the CIS but I used it in like 2019 so that is coming up for four years ago oh my gosh yeah so I never used I've not I'm really struggling today that is
