Hamilton's just done the fastest Middlesex but his first sector which was fastest initially that's already been beaten by several others he's like he's bends Lewis Hamilton spins off now can he get it had good commitment on the other fast corners but you touch a damp part and you suddenly got no grip at all it's way too late to save it because you're offline and you haven't got the right tires for to be the last across the line because the others up ahead of you have dried the circuit dried the line out a bit so it's definitely better if you're last look at Norris you're seeing improved lap times all the time the slap is not going very quickly you know he's not improved in the first sector Halfway Around the lap and he's barely finding time on himself the cheer did you hear that cheers the line he goes second so Russell's safe there's Hamilton in the background about to come through he goes third and verstappen Perez is in trouble 14 15 for Perez Perez is gone my goodness again that's that's five Q threes in a row that he's not gonna make that's remarkable Perez out sunoda out Joker knew and uh there's valtry bottas at the side of the track blood test has made it through no power copy copy he was the first one out was that an error to put him at the end of the pit Lane first one out because he had to deal in a way with the wetter track we're going to see some more improvements again it's important you get your final lap in here so Le cluego's second he's still not quite as quick as Norris on the complete lap let's just see what his teammate does as well in the but they're in the way or they were really meddling with drivers starting a final flyer Alba goes second what a lap wow Alex albon and that is tremendous and what about his teammate he's in tonight can he get into Q3 for the first time in his career well Atlanta's just set a purple middle sector so I'm not sure he jumps up to fifth now sergeants [Music] here's Max then faster through the first two sectors everyone improving you've got to deliver on this final lap I don't think Sergeant's gonna have done enough in 10th right now as verstappen lowers The Benchmark even more yeah 127.7 so here we go this is the crucial Moment The Checkered Flag is out piastri's second fastest surely he's into Q3 another tremendous effort by piastri stroll goes 10th that may well not be enough a bit of ocon actually only 11. yeah that's surprising hulkenberg goes 10th so he he might be safe it just depends now on who else can improve it's gasly V hulkerberg so Alonzo is going to be fine up in seventh as it turns out across the line he's done it he's got through and hulkenberg has been squeezed out to hulkenberg stroll okon Sergeant Sergeant on a lap but he's not on a quick lap at all and that's it and bottas of course with no time so this was okon I believe starting a flying lap with Lance stroll launched it in on stroll what I don't really know what he's doing there just wait your turn so we now know who's in the top ten verstappen piastri Norris both McLarens albon then the Ferraris Alonso safe Hamilton through gasly and Russell into the last little section comes Lewis Hamilton is he gonna have the pace to challenge for yet another pole position here at silverson I'd rather doubt he's got quite enough this weekend he does go fastest for the moment 127.717 let's see what his teammate does albon goes second fastest 27.9 Russell already over the lines a little bit slower and Lando Norris goes fourth fastest so look at that Brits I know it's a tie as well but uh briefly and then Alonso jumps in uh the Spaniard goes second it holds for another first four over the line no the first four drivers all the Brits and there goes Max verstappen there fastest up of the weekend for Max and that was new tires on the Red Bull so that's the really representative one at this stage of the staff and gapping the field but you would expect that with the tires that he was on and the Ferraris over the line now and Leclair third signs fourth and piastri good lap from Fiesta again he's out qualified Landon orislando Norris is a lot not so strong gasly now goes out science is uh one tenth down on the stopper so the two Ferraris gonna come through first Leclair final Corner really left then right now squeeze on the throttle the last will be flat out Russell's in the mix as well one tenth down on verstappen he goes second Charlotte Claire potentially on the front row but it depends what everybody else does here only second by point zero five two we always see it like this at silverson it's always within .06.07 science goes third fastest beaten by his teammate but good for Ferrari Russell goes fourth for the moment 127 one five five watch out for Alonso and Hamilton Alonso goes fifth fast is what can Hamilton do in the background and don't forget Landon Norris has been fast all the time though Hamilton's fit behind his teammate and Landon orez lado Norris has taken Paul
