a good morning we're here on site this morning we're going to be doing today an easy base installation so where I stand right now the entire section has been excavated we've removed about a four inch depth of native soil and we're about to get ready with the compassion ratio has been done compaction has been completed and we're going to be putting the the geotextile and following up with all the different steps following after that so we're back on site with step two we've done de the excavation and everything is leveled and proper now what we've done is we've installed a Geo textile to make sure that we're covering every square inch of the surface and we've also installed the screening bars that we're going to use to make sure that the bedding sand is properly leveled at the proper height okay we're at the step now where what we've done is we've done all the excavation did all the geotextile laying out we did the base sand underneath and now what we've leveled everything and we're at the area right now where we're going to be starting to put the stones down so we've we've got the EZ based started to install here we're going to keep on everything level and we're just going to start putting in the stones one by one and make sure everything is very very Square and can you drop that in there okay we're down to the last step basically now we're down to the very last stone that needs to be installed on this easy base installation the remainder of the thing is to make sure that we do install a solid edging which is the next step that we're going to do followed by stabilizing everything with RHP next gel a stabilized polymeric sand good morning everybody we're back on the jobsite this morning installation is completed the edging has been put in place the only thing remaining now is the jointing said we're going to be using HP NEX gel polymeric standby techne seal we're gonna be using that granite color which is a nice color that will blend in with this grayish tone of these favors right here okay San has been swept in we're gonna be using this roller compactor where you we've got these 50 mil thick pavers so in order to make sure that the pavers don't crack and break and also because we're on the easy base we want to make sure that the pavers are not going to dance around I'm going to go with that very low tension with the roller compactor [Music] [Music] Tromp action was done once as you can tell the sand has has been compact into the joints we're gonna re sweeps and across the surface to ensure we refill these joints up completely now the sand has been swept in everything is that is perfectly we've camped everything we've made sure the sand is well vibrated in last step we do before activating is we're going to make sure that there's nothing left on the surface we're gonna take the lead blower and using the lead floor I'm going to level off all of the joints to make sure they're all exactly the white exactly the slightly below chamfer [Applause] okay we're at the activation process activation process is by far the most important step this is the one where you there's no ad-libbing we want to make sure we follow procedures correctly we're gonna start by making sure we use shower mode we've got about a hundred and fifty square feet of pavers here so it should not take us more than about twenty-five to thirty seconds to actually activate so we're gonna use that method of activation one tip for everybody when you've got a long garden hose staying in the Sun for a while you want to make sure that you actually give us chance for that hot water to be taken out of the hose before we actually reach the surface where we want cold water to activate so activation is very very simple we actually make sure that we actually water everything using shower mode only no more than about thirty seconds for this this activation here you
