to export an animation from animate to a sprite sheet that can be imported later for game engine software like unity that is the example of this video what you need is to have your animation into a symbol that is not in the case right now because this is our last exercise the wildcat running and we created the animation right here on the stage so i have each keyframe on my stage so i need to have these keyframes copy frames into a symbol insert new symbol and i will keep it as a graphic and now paste it here base frames and we have it here as you can see it's not centered in relation to the central point of our symbol it's not a big deal but if you want to center it you know that you cannot change one keyframe okay because else the others will just keep there so one way is to change to move all together and you can look for the icon that says edit multiple frames and then you can just drag the amount of frames that you want to move all together okay just move it and now turn it off and now you have your animation in your file position okay so now you have i have it here as you can see in my library because i created a symbol i'm inside the wildcat that i just created you'll notice that i also have here a cat run because i already painted this cat so it would be easier to see because i don't have any fill color here so this means that while when i export this spreadsheet i will just have the strokes and it will be a bit difficult to observe that's why i just painted one version of it like here so it's the same animation okay but i just added the fill color anyway to export this symbol to a sprite sheet when you click on the right click on your symbol you see that you have a generate spreadsheet and the texture atlas what we want is a sprite sheet because this is an image that will be exported with every position that we created every keyframe so you see here this is our output image so our file would contain every single pose so if you want to export um like a set of assets to texturize your scenario that would not be spreadsheet would be a texture atlas but you can look for more information here help page of from adobe and you'll see here that you will have the overview of its spreadsheets and texture atlas and you have here the comparison so you can look for a better description there anyway i wanted to export these and you will see that you have several options here to change maybe you you will need to come here again and change if you need depending on how it will behaves in our software that we are being going to work on for now i'll just leave everything as default these are the image dimensions i don't have any padding here so you see that if i add here i'm adding the size of it but i will the size the space between the images but i will not do it i will just choose a path that i want yes and i will click export yes i want to override it and this is our image okay all positions one two three four five six 12 frames that is the amount of frames that we have here so everything is correct let's import it to unity
