we're bringing Messi back to Barcelona but as an academy kid and for every goal he scores he will get one year older we're gonna try to finish the season with Messi as the top goal scorer in La Liga Before Time catches up to him so we begin with Messi age 12. he's only four foot eight and only 58 rated no we're basically the same age as the child mascots Messi is Tiny and I think it's pretty clear this first goal is going to be the hardest because scoring is a 12 year old even if you're messy is never easy so we're three games into the season no goals yet this is honestly harder than I thought and actually the current top goal scorer in the league is slow in dowski now we can't have our own player beating us at this challenge so unfortunately I'm putting him on the bench but let's put Messi up top and see if we can find some goals now I've told Messi to stay Central the whole game all we're gonna do is try to feed him balls and we might have our chance on here Leo Messi making the run in behind this is his first real chance and he makes a mess of it no power behind those little legs just yet but we need to score some goals to age him up to get the stats better her and Messi finally finds his goal we are now officially a teenager 13 years of age and leveling up already so as promised Messi gets one year older and his overall starts to go up so the goal should get easier as this goes on and Messi although he is small and weak definitely already has some good footwork oh my God Messi scored his second goal of the Season levels up again and unlocks a new appearance for the first time and the overall is going up a lot with every goal so this should get easier and easier as we go messy looking to make it three goals and 11 appearances he does 15 years of age now we are in the 70s and things are starting to improve a lot but just as things are looking up ah the crunching challenge that looks to be a serious one too this could be a huge blow to the challenge If Messi cannot recover here and we get the confirmation Messi's gonna be out for a whole month that means looking at the calendar three League games we're gonna have to miss but Messi does return from injury and is back in the lineup for this game can he return to the top form we left off at three goals and 11 appearances is not amazing but he only gets better with every game Messi with a little chip and again that play is not quite coming off for him but when he hits his Peak expect to see some goals like that Messi going through and that's much better oh my God now with every passing goal we're getting closer and closer to seeing Peak Lionel Messi who even as a teenager was pretty darn good when he was breaking out into the team in Messi oh my God the dribbling no way he pulls this off it's a gold Messi for the first time we crack into the 80s this is where the goals are gonna start to be easy take a look at these stats guys Messi is now 17 years of age and 82 overall we've only got five goals though which doesn't even put us in the top 25 goal scorers yet but with our new rating I expect that to change and up next it's Ram Madrid and Messi looking to show what he's got here still only 17 but he can score goals and now he turns into an adult at 18 years of age but don't think we're done just yet Messi is only getting started his level continues to go up he takes on the whole back line that is a vintage Lionel Messi goal wow so now we're finally in the race for the Golden Boot but we're only number 19 still a long way to go so the race is on but every passing game we're getting better and then it's a handball it's gonna be a penalty this is a great chance for us but oh no I forgot to send Messi as the penalty taker to pie scores and steals our Glory that's a big missed chance all right so let's quickly fix that mistake Messi's actually going to be our penalty taker but also he'll be on all the free kicks hopefully that can get us some more goals and it comes into effect the very next game the same exact thing happens another handball in the Box this time it's messy to step up and take it wearing the number 19 for a change and down the middle it's a gold messy levels up once again we're in the top 15 goal scorers with actually Griezmann up in first place but now we're 90 rated so I expect to see some great goals as Messi enters his 20s and you know the crazy part is we're still not even that close to his Peak which is a rating of 94 uh in the mid to late 20s so it's only gonna still go up from here in Messi off of the kickoff keeps going oh my God unbelievable and finally he converts the solo run into chip goal this is where the goals come pouring in looking for some space in the box now messy the run to the back post can we score it's a headed goal for a change and again we find a goal once we're hitting this critical mass of being high rated I think things are starting to turn in messy showing he is the best player in the world already in this one and again again it's another solo run we're quickly gaining ground in the Golden Boot race the only shame is we're flying through his primes coin goals as fast but take it in while it lasts because Messi is scoring some incredible goals he simply cannot be stopped at the moment so we're now only four goals off of the Golden Boot race Griezmann though is still in first now Griezmann is actually on loan from Barcelona it would be so sad if he were to beat us in this challenge so we need to make sure we get goals quick Messi scores yet again and as we're coming towards the end of the season he just needs to keep doing what he's doing this is outrageous and that goal brings us to Peak Super Saiyan blonde-haired messy he only had this look for a year so this will only last for one goal Let's Make It Count messy still going oh my God it's the best one yet Messi scores an absolute Banger so we're scoring a lot but so is griezman we're still three goals off of that golden first place we gotta keep it up with Messi now in his 30s we might see a slightly different style of play he's scoring goals but maybe a little less by dribbling by everybody and being Pacey and more with composed finishes and however he can score him let's just keep him rolling in griezema knows still four goals in front of us he is making this very difficult now we have five games left in the season so this game against Real Madrid is gonna be huge well we already saw a younger Messi score some goals against Real Madrid this season can older Messi do it this time he still looks like he's got a lot in his locker and this time again scores against Real let's keep this streak going into the next game Messi is goal hungry flying through his 30s now with Goal after goal rolling in so we've come within two goals of Antoine Griezmann and there's only three games left in the season and the next one is against Atletico Madrid this is The Ultimate Showdown this season who will come out on top once Barcelona with a lot of early pressure in this one but can Messi find a goal for himself space in the Box shot goal it is clinical and Messi gets one goal closer to taking down Chrisman who we just need to keep quiet for this game as long as he doesn't score we'll be able to make up Crown but hopefully I didn't speak too soon as well with a chance and he does score a goal oh my gosh well let's see if we can grab another goal only two minutes left this would be huge if we could find one creasemon clears it what would have been off the line and Messi though finds his way into the back of the net another goal and check this out we are now one goal off of griesman two games remaining in the season and Messi is 37 now and starting to decline kind of a lot so every goal is going to take a decent amount off of his overall but we win another penalty this is the chance messy can he convert yes we just keep the race that much closer this is gonna come down to the wire and don't rule him out just yet no matter how tired those old legs get the technique never leaves Messi is now level on goals with griezman it's gonna be decided on the final game of the season you couldn't write this it's all gonna come down to this and messy almost 40 years of age all he's gotta do is keep those legs in check for one more game you can retire after this one's done we just need at least one more goal depending on what creasma does Messi shaping up for the shot could be a free kick here still going messy still going oh my God that might be the best goal yet but we can't take our foot off the cast here Griezmann likely to score a goal in his game as well and Messi Blowing by Defenders he has slowed down a little bit but still has some great dribbling in his locker oh my God he scores again surely that has done it and now we put in the work let's find out what happened in the other game well we've done it messy is the Golden Boot winner and that was a lot closer than I
