thanks for coming over here when did you get in from South Africa uh yesterday at 2:00 p.m. okay so is your whole time in our your clock off is everything wrong I am a hot mess you uh-huh okay now it's becoming clearer yeah yeah you over there shooting a movie without Pacino right yeah yeah that's that's pretty great dude that was amazing are you too young to really let that know how much you yeah I mean I know you know who he is but I love Pacino guys others like Al Pacino he sucks Godfather he's amazing yeah yeah he's in that yeah that's what is that intimidating working with him yes yes yeah you get over it pretty quickly though yes you do sweetheart yeah and then you go alright well I'm just it's an actor and Here I am and oh my god tell Pacino every once in a while and then it goes like that yeah for sure you know 75 you know he's really it's really old you still got it you got the chops but he's old man it happens ideally it happens you know a best-case scenario it happens you're playing well a couple of real-life characters is the Dwight Chapin is the name of your character in Elvis and Nixon right yes and Quicksilver another real life character in Xmen yeah you're you had a scene in the last x-men movie in and if people saw they know because it is one of the great scenes in the history of superhero movies and where your character Quicksilver is just like running around so quickly everybody else is in slow motion and catching bullets and pulling people's hats off and doing all this crazy stuff yeah it is that like dude it's a miraculous scene there oh my god yeah it's it I have to say it's not me like at all like I it's it's Rising Sun who does all the special effects of the kitchen scene we got a new one in the next movie Oh same special effects people and who else I don't know a lot of people a lot of people it'll be you're on a long flight so I forgive you for forgetting and I hope they do as well but when you shooting that team and for those who saw it they know what a great scene is look at what are you running in slow motion are you running as fast as you can or not running or moving around how does that work I mean I'm on a treadmill I'm on a green treadmill and there's a green tennis ball and I'm basically you know moving bullets so those people aren't even in the room with you when you're doing that all the people who are I mean there are some like they're frozen you know mannequin yeah um yeah I can't even I don't even know what Hot Mess mean so I guess there's no point trying to explain this to me but your face is like dented from moving you know fast yeah yeah yeah how does that work is that well basically a guy with a leaf blower um and standing in front of me for real yes yeah which it I get the goggles on and that's it Wow all right okay well that's this um Elvis and Nixon it is this is it anything like Batman vs Superman are they fighting in this movie or what's going on here um yeah I'm a little bit it's hard to get Elvis in the room uh with President Nixon it's a little difficult this is something that really happen this is something that really happened it's it's an amazing story it's hilarious um my Iran Ben Stein who worked with President Nixon sent me an email the other day and told me I was there when that happened and I had lunch next to Elvis and I said what do you have and he said I don't know I think steak yeah did you meet people that were actually involved like I mean I imagine most of them are dead but people yet were there that day bud Krogh and Jerry Schilling which was really cool because Jerry shilling worked very closely with Elvis and once with one of his best friends so that was amazing correct me if I'm wrong but it's this story is Elvis just decides to go to the White House to meet Jackson he wants a badge to be a federal agent at large to fight the war on drugs which he was at the time taking a lot of yes yeah yeah exactly yeah it's really it's great there's like the birth of hypocrisy in America and yeah and well yeah it's it's a really crazy story you're doing a lot of fun stuff yeah yeah you must be thrilled right although you seen yeah you know like I'm a hot mess yeah yeah I'm very excited it's very cool stuff hi I'm Jimmy Kimmel if you like that click the subscribe button below and good things will happen forever
