[Music] on today's show a colorful property search when it comes to exteriors it's a parcel and it's pink and vibrant interiors oh wow oh it's gorgeous oh so cute and a beautiful home that leaves our buyer flush too it's amazing like it yeah yeah very much this is perfect it's speaking to me yeah it's saying by me it's good welcome to escape to the country today we're in norfolk and this is the beautiful seaside at wells next the sea just one of many stunning beaches that makes up norfolk's 90 mile coastline meaning that half the county's boundary is next to water but take it from me there's a lot more to this place than just the seaside inland is pretty lovely too norfolk is the largest county in east anglia where the average price of a detached home is currently just over 319 000 pounds around 24 000 pounds below the national figure over 90 of the county is given over to farming found throughout the landscape are norfolk's iconic windmills once used for grinding corn or flour most have long fallen out of practical use but a new generation now stand proud powering the future across the countryside and off the coast sprawled across the east of the county the man-made broads provide 125 miles of lock-free waterways best explored on a leisurely boat trip or if you have a need for speed head inland to snetterton racetrack built on an ex-airfield outside thetford in the 1950s it remains a staple of the british racing scene today for a predominantly rural famously flat county norfolk has an amazing amount to offer visitors whether for a day or for a lifetime [Music] now one of the great joys of living in this county is that its rural landscapes and coastline are never that far away in fact the farthest point in norfolk to the sea is only some 40 miles meaning that all of this is easily accessible to anybody who lives here any day of the week and it's just one of the factors that's attracted today's buyer to want to move here poppy is being supported in her journey by daughter rosie but they're often mistaken for being siblings [Music] you're definitely i'm sorry but you're a mini me aren't you we get mixed up people mix us up all the time which i think is great rosie's not so happy about it we get the are you sisters everywhere we go we are very similar we like the same things don't we we are happiest when we're kind of doing something silly together baking or knitting or taught you to crochet recently i know it sounds really cheesy but we are best friends mum poppy bought her current home 17 years ago it's a three bed semi in the village of peacock on the outskirts of the city of peterborough where she works as a nurse when i first moved in the house was painted pale yellow that lasted about all 10 minutes i painted it pink i remember my poor son had to suffer basically the whole of his childhood living in a pink house with son ben 24 and living with his partner nearby and 22 year old rosie who's studying in cambridge poppy is now keen to downsize i became disabled a couple of years ago and that has been a big driver in now pushing that move along so we've been thinking about where i'd like to be and i feel that now is the time to kind of make the move over to norfolk because i fell in love with that county a few years ago i've got lots of friends over there now and i also um studied my undergraduate in norwich so um so we got to know the county a bit better didn't you while rosie and ben will both visit regularly they want to be sure that their mum won't be lonely despite her plans to live somewhere more rural i think it's really important that mum's got a community and to invest herself in because she is one of those people who will talk to anyone just ask me and then um you know like can't leave her alone in the super market because she will be making friends somewhere when she moves i think her lifestyle will be more doing what she wants to do you know at the moment it sort of revolves around work quite a lot and i'm i'm really excited for her i think she's going to have an amazing amazing adventure something that i will probably not miss quite so much as my kitchen because it's very small it's quite full-on in there isn't it there's three or four of us it's things like christmas or easter if we have a big family meal you basically then end up paying like a game of twister in the kitchen afterwards to try and clear up like climbing over each other i think sometimes the house chooses you yeah as well it's not all about you choosing the house and sometimes a house just casts its spell on you and exactly well now that our children have flown the nest poppy feels this is the perfect time to start a brand new chapter in her life somewhere tranquil rural and dare i say it quirky and with daughter rosie by her side i'm pretty optimistic that together we can keep poppy on track to find her exactly what she's looking for something with that all-important sense of character and community for a maximum budget of 335 000 pounds poppy would like an older property the more character the better with at least two bedrooms a kitchen where the family can cook together when they visit and a low maintenance garden and she's keen to be somewhere with a strong community vibe on the outskirts of a town or village we've got an encouraging selection of properties lined up for poppy and rosy to see after each viewing we'll be testing their valuation skills and awarding top marks to whoever comes closest to the asking price but before the bell rings on our norfolk tour we'll be rounding things up at a very special mystery house i can't wait to get started on this property search and meet this lively mother and daughter duo so how excited are you to super exciting off the scale excited i got that impression i got that impression i mean a big move for you big move big move for me yes and it's been a long time coming i get the feeling you're quite emotional just something i've picked up on and it's very easy to get carried away emotionally with the property that's why she's here that's what i was going to ask she's the brains that'll be me so are you the voice of reason in this um i believe that it may be the case yes i think um so mum can get quite sort of carried away by the feeling of a place so we're all working together yeah excellent so fingers crossed despite the weather yeah it doesn't matter it doesn't matter i should be able to find you something that well i hope entice you into the new life that you're dreaming about thank you [Music] our first stop is in one of norfolk's best known market towns swatham impressive georgian buildings surround the market square which comes alive every saturday the town sign depicts the swath and peddler john chapman who according to legend funded the north side of the parish church with gold found in his garden on the edge of town surrounded by a community of neighbours this rather unique pink property is first on our list ah well notwithstanding the drizzle and the wind we thought we'd start with this one oh wow goodness it's a castle and it's pink well not quite a castle but it's certainly um historic it's thought this might have been a chapel uh it could be 16th century nobody's quite sure yeah really unusual right then let's see if you think of it i love the garden and then everything believed to be one of the oldest properties in swatham this cottage is as individual on the inside as it is on the out and is also surprisingly spacious right we'll start with the kitchen before we get into the rest of it oh wow oh it's oh so gorgeous i love the tiles oh yeah nice big window looking out to the garden but no i mean it's all in here not massive it's not a classic sort of kitchen dynamic this is this double this size size right now yeah absolutely this is huge but we're supposed to be downsizing aren't we in a good way yeah nice it's lovely yeah perfect we've scored already yes right follow me through here so we're getting into um one of the older elements of the property now oh wow this is huge interesting so the kitchen is the more recent extension right um this was once the back door right i love okay and you've got doors out um again to the garden amazing yeah this feels really cozy yeah and i think a nice place to snuggle up with a book kind of thing yeah sort of feel if you think this is casey come and have a look to here it gets even cozier yeah you'll love this so this is without doubt the oldest parts of the property oh wow oh it's beautiful this is so lovely it's so cute yeah yeah this is a perfect spot for a sunday afternoon isn't it yeah so these smiles are very genuine are they yeah definitely good well let's have a look upstairs the present-day staircase is just past the main living room off the entrance hall from here there's also access to a study a downstairs shower room and a cloakroom it seems with this house we might just have hit the nail on the head when it comes to character and colour come on through the eyes all right oh wow thank you that is so cool currently there are two double bedrooms and a smaller single room with an attached washroom so that's bedroom number two okay still big um but this would be oh wow yours i think oh my goodness me how cute is it pretty it's gorgeous yeah it's really cute really cute really pretty it's got a real eclectic feel hasn't it there's so many different bits of history to it it has a it's just really unusual house yeah absolutely yeah i mean one of the key requirements for you is an ensuite but the little box room has already a lure and base in innis perfect so we're thinking you could invest a little bit yeah in making that the bathroom that you want perfect uh it's not quite ensuite but it's not downstairs close enough i get the vibe of you here like i can i can see you in some of the rooms already which is a nice feeling yeah so let's go and have a quick look at the garden and we'll have a think about how much it might cost you okay goodness okay go on after you two thank you for watching the outside space is the definition of low maintenance and surrounded by mature hedging there's a good sense of privacy from here you can really appreciate the original parts of the building okay i think we'll make this fairly swift seeing as it is failing uh the garden pretty much describes itself it's lovely because there's quite a fair bit of space but without being too much yes quite manageable isn't it yeah but you've still got the bonus of the space and it's flat it's flat yeah and i think there's even space maybe to put in a couple of vegetable beds oh absolutely yeah oh yeah so 335 000 pounds is your maximum budget yes yeah okay mum right it's your home potentially you might as well go first yeah i'm gonna say a hopeful three hundred thousand pounds yeah i think maybe three fifteen well here's the thing unusually this is broken as offers in excess of three hundred thousand pounds oh wow okay yeah are we happy very very happy even though we're a bit worse yeah this colorful character cottage has the two bedrooms kitchen and low maintenance garden poppy asked for all in an edge of town setting with countryside views and coming in around 30 000 pounds under budget she'd be able to do any tweaks she wanted to really make it her own this property makes me feel really excited and a bit emotional because i can see myself here and it does fulfill a lot of my requirements in a way that i didn't really think that i would find that for my budget so i think this house actually has a really lovely feel and it feels really homely as soon as you walk in which is lovely because i think although ben and i are you know out doing other things it's still nice to have a home you know to come and see mum i really like the flint yeah it's really beautiful yeah absolutely very pretty this is all sounding very positive yes definitely i think it's a really good start amazing start yeah let's finish off a perfect start with the perfect coffee [Music] once a major industry in east anglia wealth generated by the wool trade was responsible for much of the development across norfolk during the middle ages financing the county's wool churches landowners measured their wealth by the number of sheep they owned today teresa george breeds rare sheep and runs hand spinning workshops from her home near king's lynn as poppy and rosie love all things wool during the week we arranged for them to have a go at the ancient craft which has recently come back into fashion you're so lucky to have your own sheep what breeds are they well these are mainly north ronaldsey and one grey-faced dartmoor the north ronald z they are particularly rare on the rare breed survival trust watch list they're actually recorded as being vulnerable which means they're only between five and 900 registered breeding use left which means it's absolutely vital that we keep doing things like we're doing today to actually keep using that wall otherwise there's no no purpose so teresa how do you get from um the fleece that you shear from the sheep to a wool that you can knit with that's a very good question so why don't we go back down to my barn and we'll have a go and i'll show you what to do let's come this way once sheared each fleece produces between one and two kilos of wool enough to produce a jumper so when we spin the wool what we're aiming to do is actually stretch the wool now by spinning it it actually gives it strength because at the moment it's really really delicate isn't it if you just gently hold your wool and just pull those fibers to stretch them that's what we're actually going to be doing when we're spinning for thousands of years wool fiber was processed by using simple hand tools which were superseded by the introduction of spinning wheels in the 16th century so really careful with your backhand here but your front hand is pinching and pulling and stretching those fibers so you pinch and pull because that's smoothing the fibers down to make a nice strong yarn so if you'd like to come and sit in my seat and rosie you take a seat there ready to have a go at that so give it a push with your hand like that get that started and the same with you rosie just give that a good push you be in charge now keep your feet nice and flat you want enough momentum to keep it going you don't want to be too fast there are your naturals i don't know about that after the victorian era advances in technology meant that traditional skills like this went out of favor be firmer with it be in charge that's it but thanks to a growing interest in sustainability the popularity of all has increased in recent years and the industry has experienced a resurgence that's lovely absolutely oh that was nearly lovely so teresa these spinning ones are amazing are they vintage yes they are they're a traditional brand they're by ashford of new zealand it's a really popular wheel actually it's fabulous to learn on and these particular wheels are about 40 years old oh my gosh nice while it can be expensive to get started the equipment should last a lifetime so for a self-confessed wool addict like poppy keen to make her own yarn it could be a worthwhile investment thank you so much theresa i've had such a lovely afternoon it's been a pleasure to have you both here today it's been great fun and if you'd like to you can sit and carry on and practice your spinning thank you i think i need it [Laughter] [Music] keen to keep up the momentum we're heading to our next house just two miles north of swatham in spawn it's a quiet leafy village built mainly along one meandering road where there's a local pub a church and a shop with post office plus poppy will be pleased to know there are plenty of clubs that meet regularly in the village such as reading and art groups perhaps she could add a knitting club to that list if our next house fits the bill right then we continue with half of that thatch wow it's really really cute and it's hot this is about 1650. loads of features as you might expect plus you also get the garage up there and a very pretty little garden you need to get to the back of it okay okay yes yes yes yes is this the sort of thing yeah definitely this is lovely i can't wait to get inside come on then let's see what you think follow me despite parts of this cottage dating back to the 17th century it isn't a listed building which means there's more scope for alteration okay coming to the past oh wow what do you think rosie wow this is beautiful and i could easily get my dining room table in there yeah yeah it'd be lovely room wouldn't it now the rest of the house goes through that way to the living room but here's the kitchen i think this is good fun and i'm hoping okay it's what you're asking okay okay oh my gosh my days wow [Laughter] it's amazing like it yeah yeah very much yes yes you're right i'm fine it's this is this is perfect oh bless you yes it's great isn't it yeah it's beautiful it's just amazing just wow this is how i would define country kitchen yeah i just love it i could just stay in this kitchen i just love it it's a sociable space there as well it's big enough you know you guys can be in here and chat to me while i'm cooking does your mother often burst into tears i mean to be honest frequently but um not normally upon entering houses so this is no it's not a kitchen no not at the site of a kit not the site of our current kitchen i'll tell you not in a good way it's speaking to me yeah it's saying by me say me good if you carry on you're gonna set me off i tell you uh right then lead on through there okay and i will show you the rest of it wow okay right then well if you got emotion in the kitchen what's going to happen in here then when you see this lodge oh my goodness it is a place just rammed with history and conversation over many years it's amazing it is amazing i love the doors i love that the beaches the beans it's just beautiful there's a lot of emotion going on here and i suspect i probably need to leave you too alone for a bit so i'm going to let you have the run of the upstairs to get there you're going to go up the stairs there they are a little bit steep okay they are known as a norfolk winder they're very common in this part of the world they're a lovely historic feature if you find them too steep don't worry i have a plan oh okay when you get up there what you see i do not think is going to disappoint you okay okay i'm gonna run go on take your time thank you fabulous while the current original staircase is unlikely to prove practical for poppy my suggestion is to extend it into the sitting room on the ground floor and straighten it so it enters the first floor by the second of the two bedrooms it's not a huge job and it would almost certainly be worth it as so far this house is really hitting the mark oh this is nice this is cute yeah this is lovely isn't it lovely nice size room yep two windows as well so you've got lots of light yeah yeah it's a lovely room isn't it did you go and see that yes yeah after you thank you oh my goodness me oh wow i think i like this one even more than the other one this is beautiful i don't know if it's a little bit smaller but i really like this i love the beams this is so cute yeah it's beautiful i kind of don't want to leave while it's great to see poppy feeling so at home she can't move in just yet not until we've seen the garden at least a private little oasis the lawn area is surrounded by mature trees and shrubs perfect timing look it's not raining finally um garden-wise pretty much what you see famously uh is what you get with a little patio down there of course yep so i think we like this one yes yes yeah yep price wise then who's going to go first i think this is over budget i think it's 350. i agree with mum in that i think it's right at the top end of the budget maybe slightly over so i'm gonna go 340 000 pounds i can put your mind at rest you will not have to compromise at all on achieving this property because if you are serious about it and you clearly are the cheque you might think about writing would come to 279 995 pounds so a five are short of 280. oh my goodness me that is incredible really really really really yep gosh oh my goodness right did we bring the checkpoint gobsmacked i'm so shocked yeah i mean bear in mind it would also allow you to do the stairs to do the stairs and the thatch and a couple of other bits and pieces but my goodness me well under budget into a property that clearly you weren't expecting go and explore thank you thank you go go go this semi-detached thatched cottage has two bedrooms a characterful country kitchen and a low maintenance garden and coming in a staggering 55 thousand pounds under budget poppy could make any necessary alterations to achieve her perfect balance of period charm and practicality he's totally gone look at it it's amazing isn't it it's called butler sink mum this is how i would design it yeah it's like they looked inside my head and went what's your perfect kitchen here you go it's huge as well i walked into this house and just felt connection to it straight away and that's how i bought my last house and i felt the same feeling when i walked in to this house [Music] i can definitely picture visiting mum here i think she would just make it such a lovely home you can imagine us all in the kitchen as we usually are except this time it'll be less wrestling each other to get by my head's whirling because i've seen so many lovely properties today and this just it just gets better every property is just better beautiful garden isn't it really lovely manageable absolutely because it's enough space isn't it but but manageable for you yeah i'm delighted those smiles are continuing as i hope they might happy really happy really happy it is now the end of a very long and somewhat emotional day come on gin and tonic time we're house hunting in norfolk with poppy from pekirk near peterborough who's hoping to find a cosy and characterful new home in what has become her favorite county helping her along the way and ensuring she spends her 335 thousand pound budget wisely his daughter rosie so far the search has conjured up a roller coaster of emotions and as we head into day two the ride continues amazing what a treat and with energy levels at an all-time high we head to our mystery house it is so interesting it's so intriguing really pretty plus later i find out there is an exciting side to watching paint dry oh my goodness i am genuinely absolutely amazed [Music] well there's no doubt that our eclectic crop of properties that we saw yesterday packed full of history and character worked their magic on both rosie and poppy their reactions said it all so for our mystery house i think we've got something that offers a very fitting finale to what so far has been a very emotional house search [Music] but whilst exploring norfolk's countryside i couldn't pass up the opportunity to experience a little of its fantastic rural scenery together away from the houses so i'm taking our ladies on a miniature steam train which runs four miles from the coastal town of wales next to sea to the village of waltham it is the world's smallest public railway well i bet you both weren't expecting this on your escape to the country one of my highlights of north norfolk is this the wells of wants to go light railway because i know you know wells but you've never been on this have you never never been on it it's amazing what a treat one of the facts i love about it is that the rails it runs on were lifted from the somb that is amazing so during the first world war this line was carrying men and munitions all manner of things across that tortured part of northern france and yet now they're playing a much more peaceful role yeah in uh carrying hundreds of thousands of tourists up this line every year it's a nice way to go house outside isn't it by trade i think i would be quite happy here to be honest you can leave me here but with one very important stop left on our norfolk tour we need to keep rosie firmly on board so it's full steam ahead as we throw our mystery house into the property melting pot we're heading to the village of tibetan the furthest south we've been on our search home to one of the many surviving second world war airfields in norfolk the village is steeped in history the local pub built in 1710 hosts a busy calendar of events and the 15th century all saints church towers over the village a prominent landmark in the surrounding landscape and it's next door to the church that we find our final property so at last then poppy that's a mystery house mystery houses of course come in all sorts of shapes and sizes many of them are conversions this one is an old school as you can probably tell it is so interesting it's so intriguing really pretty and the sun's come out for us it's a new day let's get inside while the original building dates to 1820 our mystery school house was converted around 2000 and underwent a further extension in 2006 creating a lovely spacious home so we stepped into the original footprint of the building all right wow uh the conversion obviously has split what would have been a big cavernous single school room really but cleverly they've managed to incorporate the light from the windows right the way through to this ground floor that's quite a common thing in these kind of conversions of schools and chapels and that sort of thing yes but yeah kitchen as you can see a little bit of a diner here utility room through there and all the rest of it it's lovely it's really really lovely the kitchen is beautiful yeah the floor is great yeah it's very forgiving i love it i love it yeah yes but it does drift through rather nicely into here which is of course what would have been the main school room itself with the original floor oh wow this is nice this is lovely this is lovely beautiful i like all the features i think it's really interesting yeah let's have a look upstairs okay the two-story extension to the back of the house has added a large bathroom with corner bath on the ground floor next to a study or possible fourth bedroom the first floor benefits from a second bathroom acting as an ensuite to a third upstairs bedroom well guys up here you've got three bedrooms actually a double there guest room wow okay uh quite a useful single in here it's got plenty of kind of storage space and you've got this sort of desk area yes and then it leads on up into this very cozy um master bedroom oh this is cute yes this is cute and it also comes with the ensuite you're looking for oh fantastic not huge yeah this is really nice and although maybe downstairs a little bit smaller you've got an extra bedroom and an ensuite so that's you know yeah so big things in its favor isn't it yeah yeah oh it's amazing yeah it's amazing so much to think about absolutely yeah yeah a really interesting option i think outside the wall garden would most likely have been the former schoolyard for the house and is an adequate size with a granite seating area and a garden shed i think this is manageable sizes absolutely yeah yeah okay let's think about the price then okay i'm gonna say three two five three hundred and twenty five thousand pounds yeah i think i'm going to go about the same about 330 000 pounds all of this could be yours four 298 000 pounds wow we're so bad at the guessing but pleasantly surprised definitely surprisingly yeah absolutely i think a lot of house that's amazing yeah yes yes can we go now another look around absolutely thank you enjoy going back to school yep this mystery victorian schoolhouse keeps on giving with bags of period charm and an abundance of space there are three bedrooms two bathrooms and a kitchen where the family can come together it's the most rural of the options we've shown poppy but one of the most practical two the connection i felt with the house yesterday was instant i walked in and it just felt like coming home i think this house it's growing on me it's warming on me looking around it a little bit more i can see myself here i think that emotional connection is perhaps it's a grower well that's it um so much to think about my head is buzzing you have seen a lot this week yeah we have you've definitely definitely fulfilled the brief absolutely come on let's go although the digital age has transformed how we manufacture and read books in a small corner of norfolk traditional practices are being kept alive paper marbling is a rare art form which has been classified as one of the country's most critically endangered crafts victoria hall is one of a handful of practicing professionals in the uk and has created thousands of pieces in a career that spans over 30 years [Music] hello victoria how are you very nice to see you nice to see you too wow look at this lot it's fabulous isn't it what a great place to work i had no idea that paper marbling was still done in this country but you are one of the experts well it has to be still done while ever we've got beautiful books like this to look after isn't that fabulous now i've got many old books like this at home and i've always marveled at this technique where does it start well although it has an oriental tradition it came into europe in the 17th century in use in books but you also find it on astronomical instruments for telescopic tubes gun boxes small objects um all sorts of things incredible so when you see old examples they're almost sort of signature pieces that you think might have come from a particular workshop or particular hand there are families of patterns that you see time and time again that can actually work as a dating device despite their popularity throughout the 17th century marble papers were largely imported from europe it wasn't until the 18th century that there was a drive to encourage british trade and production so what's in here then because it's not just water is it it's um it's a solution made from derived from carrageenan moss which is a common seaweed which was found to give a really beneficial liquid for paper marbling in about the 1890s well i think seeing is believing with this one so go and show us how you would go about it victoria uses a variety of watercolor paints and with a brush she sprinkles the paint on the surface of the liquid wow so every spot every droplet's keeping its own space it is isn't it and that's a product of the and it's pushing out everything else that's gone before it so what started out as a the red was really quite pink and now it's becoming far more intense as a red because it's being compressed and then there's quite heavy on the green so the order in which you introduced it is vital if you're going to be replicating patterns while many assume that marbling is by nature an entirely random process and sometimes it can be the skill lies in being able to produce multiples of the same design and to create them to a specific brief such as replicating an historic pattern [Music] that is incredible it's a it's a mosaic isn't it once finished victoria carefully lays on a sheet of paper which has been treated on one side with an alum solution of aluminium potassium sulfate which allows the colour to bite into the paper and prevents it from washing off but i am i'm gonna take it up from this side gosh it's that quick look at that oh my goodness i am genuinely absolutely amazed and it's not running down it's not running down a quick rinse with water and the paper is left to dry meanwhile it's my turn to get my hands dirty [Music] that's it okay do you think that's enough if you like it's your partner this is where it could go horribly wrong when it's left to me and black i put black in i put black in victoria makes this tried and tested technique look easy but i can assure you it's anything but at the moment it's looking a little bit sort of wishy-washy isn't it they need to they need to fight a bit more oh wow move it around with some speed some vigor some yes just exactly that's perfect there we go a bit bolder there we are yep maybe the truth about there and we want it nice and square don't worry she can get popping and it doesn't matter that's going down that's lovely it's all right is that right yep what i'm absolutely amazed at is how the paint so immediately sticks to the paper [Music] okay right here we go well it's a pattern good oh i don't know i do love the blue and the yellow actually yeah it's good fun isn't it well victoria thank you very very much i have enjoyed having a go but it has reminded us all that it takes a very long time to be able to produce that so well done you for keeping this amazing craft going and producing such beautiful patterns that remind us of an age when you know the book was the most valuable thing you had on your shelf thank you very much for coming thank you [Music] well we've seen some fantastic properties this week all of which have gained a very positive and on occasion emotional response from both rosie and poppy but is there a favorite there must be one but at this stage i'm not sure i could call it let's go and ask them and find out hello hello how are you doing good yeah yeah really good have we managed to get you towards a property that you think might work for the future yes i think you have i think at the moment where we are is this close oh okay to one or two or three or uh to two so um very much at the moment my heart is with the thatched cottage i think that was to be uh not surprising when it brought out the tears yeah it did it did but then seeing the mystery property which did fulfill its job which was to throw me a curveball and i think that's definitely perhaps where my head is because it's perhaps slightly more accommodation voice of reason what's your advice to your mum at this point yeah i mean it's really tricky isn't it because normally i am the voice of reason and but i also think mum is you know an emotional person i think you're led by emotion and i think it's important that it feels like home so i think in that circumstance i definitely see sort of the link with the thatched cottage definitely what are you going to do next then to kind of resolve this i'd really like to go back and see both the houses both the thatch cottage and the mystery house with ben and page and probably drag you along as well and then go from there brilliant well you are left with a wonderful choice actually thank you and thank you so much for showing us all the properties been amazing it's been terribly hard well we have seen some fantastic properties this week and left poppy with an interesting choice between that beautiful thatched cottage and our mystery house there is clearly a tug of war going on between what her heart says on the one hand and what her head says on the other to resolve it she's going to go back and see them both but importantly with son ben in toe so hopefully when she finally does make a decision it's one which really will have involved all the family i'll see you next time if you'd like to escape to the country in northern ireland scotland wales or england and need our help why not apply online at bbc dot co dot uk forward slash take part
