today we're going to be doing an equipment tour of all the machines we have on this farm we fire about 2100 acres in total so this is what we use to farm all over that and we do all of our own work except for last year we had our corn planted and chopped up but for the rest we do everything ourselves for the silage in for the cows and for seeding combining spring we do it all ourselves so we're gonna be looking at all of our equipment today and before we get into it I want to give you thanks to Ariat for sending me this hoodie and the pair of boots that I'm wearing in today's video more on that later let's get right into this tour we're starting out here in the shop where we parked the wheel loaders and the feed wagon this is a 2009 w 130 b new holland wheel loader it's got extended reach on it and it's got a reverser fan ride control so that's smoother to drive with and this thing's been a really really good piece of equipment for us it's got close to 12,000 hours on it now in total and we've never had an engine issue or a transmission issue with it just a couple hydraulic lines blowing which happens on every wheel loader so this thing's been a solid unit for us next up we got the case Magnum right here it's in front of the feed wagon the feed wagon behind the magnum is a 900 T supreme and it's been a pretty good feed bag and so far it's only a month old that was brand new we traded in our old 900 T it was the exact same feed wagon is this we just traded it in worried about the reliability we wanted to make sure we could run this thing every day for the next ten years without any breakdowns because we really need this thing to be running perfectly every single day this one right here is a k7 21 F wheel loader I believe it's a 2014 and we bought it with about two thousand hours on it about a year ago now the reason why we bought the second wheel loader is just while we're styling and hauling manure it's really inconvenient to feed the cows that has to happen every single day and when we were hauling manure we would have to pressure wash that bucket off at the end of each day and then feed the cows and then start super early in the morning and the same type of deal with silage in the summertime we would pack with that wheel loader and then we would have to feed super early in the morning and if we were gonna do that now we would have to start feeding at 3:00 or something in the morning and it's also good to just have a backup I was getting a little bit impractical with one wheel loader so that's why about this one then in the lean-to just off of that shop we have a 2294 case international here with a Highline hey Buster behind it and then we have a case 2094 with a br 70-90 new holland round baler behind it and the Baylor's got the inoculant applicator on there so if we're bailing a little bit of tough straw or hay we could put some preservatives on there now we're in our main shop here this is one of our silage trucks it's an International it's got the silage box on the back and we use it for hauling grain as well and then right here is a twenty to ten versatile Genesis it's not doing so hot right now it's getting some transmission work done to it this thing is usually parked in front of the sprayer and just sprays all summer of course this is the most important piece of equipment on the entire farm it's my truck say 2015 f-150 [Music] [Music] we came out to the shed here this is the biggest shop where we store equipment it's not heated so it gets pretty cold in here in the winter but it keeps everything drying out of the Sun and that's the first piece of equipment we'll look at it's a 2006 I believe case mx2 85 it's got about 285 horsepower we pull the two manure wagons with this thing and the chopper we've only owned this thing for about a year but I've really enjoyed running it for that year the start of 2012 new holland CX 8080 it's a conventional combine and we need the conventional combine versus the rotary combine because we need straw for the dairy farm a rotary combine pulls the straw apart breaks it apart a lot more and this thing gives us a lot longer strands of straw so we can use it for bedding for the cows and I think we're going this thing since 2014 it's pretty overkill for the amount of acres we run it over about 1,500 every fall so it's been a pretty good unit for us so far I've only ever run this thing for a couple days but when I did it was pretty comfortable there's a fridge in the back so you can keep your drinks cool and yeah it's just really nice thing to run those two headers over there are both 35 feet and their mac down headers the one on the right is a Flex Draper for this combine so we can combine peas and stuff and the one on the left there is just a rigid Draper header for the swather this is our new holland four-wheel drive tractor it's supposed to be rated for about 425 horsepower but we've pretty much cranked it right to the max so it's putting out about 475 horsepower now we've also went ahead and put a ton of weights on this thing so that we can pull our drill when we first bought this thing and put it in front of our drill it was having some problems pulling the thing so we up the power put some more weight on it and it's still pretty good since then this is our stock trailer here it's just pretty basic it's steel not aluminum but it works good this is our drill it's a bore goal toolbar and then we have the bore goal sea tank as well this is a five hundred and fifty bushel tank we put all the fertilizer and seed down at once and this thing gets our field seated within two weeks in the spring it's a sixty two foot wide drill with I believe ten inch spacing so it does a pretty good job get stuff done pretty quickly is our forage harvester here ajf stall this is what I run for a couple weeks during the summer it's an awesome forage harvester you could put through a ton of product really quickly with that case I'm able to put about 120 tons an hour through this thing which for a pull type chopper is really impressive it's a super efficient machine the drum is right underneath that spout there so as is chopping the silage shoots it up that spout and that's the biggest reason why this thing is so efficient and it allows you to puts almost product through it so quickly this is the smallest tractor we probably have on the farm it's a TS 110 new holland and we usually just leave it on the auger over there it reaches our ten thousand bushel hopper bottom bins pretty easily and we usually just leave it on there but we also run the rake on this thing and we collect small square bales or bail them so this thing does have a couple of jobs but mostly we just leave it on the auger or westfield auger it's a ten inch auger I believe it's 42 feet long we've had this for quite a few years now it's been a pretty good auger but I believe we are gonna install a new pipe with new flighting just to make sure it's gonna work for a couple more years it's getting pretty worn out and time to replace some parts on it this is our new Holland Bale picker holds about 160 bales we ran it for the first time this summer and so far it's been pretty good it is pretty old but it still works pretty good it looks like so we're pretty happy with it this is another one of our silage trucks it's a freight liner and used to haul trailers around but it was converted into a tandem truck and they put a pretty decent sized silage box on there we can about eight tons of barley silage in the summertime with it and we also use these trucks to haul fertilizer and seed in the spring and in the fall we haul grain with them from the Columbine straight to the bin so we get quite a bit of use out of these trucks this is our Ghia Huell manure pump i believe it does about 3000 gallons per minute i made a video on this thing last fall pumping manure into our liquid manure tank if you guys want to check that out go ahead but really solid pump you can move it all over the place and it's also got an impeller on here to really stir that manure pit up works good so far couple pieces of machinery just parked outside behind the shed there's a fill spout for that manure pump a box scraper to level the yard we also have a 20 foot disco back there it's a case disc ER and we have a brush more back there as well we also left this rake out here for winter i'd say class 2,700 we just raked the hay with this for the most part then we have a 50-foot land roller right here we roll all of the peas and we also roll everything that we silage and put through that chopper just to make sure that if there's a new rocks or pieces of steel in the field it doesn't get into that chopper then we have a Harrow Packer bar right here harrows the ground and then packs it we just pull this over the field to smooth it out if it needs it this is a case 2390 we were running it in front of the feed wagon there for a while but we replace it with a case magnum we did use to chop silage with this thing as well it's been a solid unit for us but we're just parking it here for now this is our bunting 230 little N or wide-body we've had this thing for quite a few years now it's a solid unit we can pile this thing up pretty good and spread souvenirs super thin over the field so we don't have to deal with any manure clumps and service on this thing is pretty easy as well and we really like running this thing as well and then right here Maxon swather it's a 2014 Mac donk n2o5 and I believe it's got about 200 horsepower it's got GPS August here on it we got the two headers for it and it's also a really nice piece of equipment to run it's just got the headers off now for storage we looked at the one Mac dawn header in the shed over there and then we got the Ghia liquid manure tank right here it's a quad axle tank that holds seventy nine hundred Canadian gallons we pull this thing with that MX 285 I was showing you guys earlier and three of the axles steer on this thing which make it really easy to handle that tractor handles this tank really well even though it's probably too big for that tractor and then at the back here we can choose to either spray it or we got some disks at the back here to insert the manure into the ground so it's better flotation and better stability for the tank if you don't have the duals on there and you have a single tire on there it's pretty pretty sketchy driving this thing and it's actually filled by flexible as you guys can see right here but painted new holland blue with the new holland stickers on there so this is our small square baler older new holland one it still puts bales through pretty good we had some issues with it when we first started running it but now it ties probably 99 out of 100 bales so it's doing really good and then here's the last Mac dawn header it's a Haven header for cutting alfalfa or grass it's got crimper rollers on there to break up those stalks and you can go pretty quick with this thing I believe it's 16 foot wide once again thank you to Ariat for sending me this hoodie and the boots to wear in this video if you guys want to pick anything up from area make sure you use the links in the description down below and one of them actually get you guys 10% off that's gonna be it for today's video guys if you enjoy make sure to
