EPIC SPRING TROLLING FOR STRIPED BASS COWS!!

what's up guys working mistakes fishing here so today we're gonna be bringing you guys a fishing video here in Maryland we're out here on the Chesapeake Bay as you can see there we're gonna be fishing on the pursuit and today we're gonna be targeting stripers out here and hopefully we'll get some big cows for you guys on video past few days have been not too good we've got a couple knock off so we had two on one both one broke off so hopefully today it changes the conditions are kind of shitty for fishing nicely fog alright guys so quick rundown of the spread here we're mostly running 320 GT twos and 330 GT eyes as our rods because it's springtime the fish are spread outs are going to be running tandem rigs with 8 to 12 ounces of inline weight and a couple of different types we got the more traditional one you see a lot of people use then we got our summertime rigs just in case we're also running umbrella rigs on the other side there those will go straight down off the back this season were allowed six rods per boat so we're gonna troll our six rods and use these planer boards here just to spread the bait out a little bit and then if we do find a jigging bite which we haven't yet and it's not super common in the spring but sometimes you can we got our jigging rod it's ready just use them little basses asin's with a skirt one ounce jig head and this one here is if we're in deep water and we mark them deep this will get you down just a little metal jig yeah hopefully hopefully we can pardon [Music] you [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] nope yeah I need you to come grab this one right now yeah all the way in tighten the drag on that and bring it all the way she's coming off we're gonna see you out there she's all the way up the surface no see there she is a big fish that's a big fish you're fine just bring him up pretty much to the boat where it's okay fun take our time [Music] yes super super careful there yeah it done yet you coming up this one up - yep holy crap well every bit of line that I just came back is now gone no she's down she went down yeah [Music] No oh that's a pig that's a pig look at she broke the stinger she took this thing that is all luck right there holy crap alright oh my goodness gracious me that is a hog hooked up on number two screaming drag couple seconds to go are not aligned on getting a little in line big fish she is a huge jump I gotta go grab the boat and about sixty three feet of water here still finding it try gaining on her oh my god Pig she is a pig just like that your whole day can change in ten seconds she's a pig you grab some text for me hold on this is probably yeah this is probably a third of 43 inch fish Ione straightness that's why I kept one in the water so that's why I kept one in the water that was fun man for a while there then they can have a home I'm gonna get my bill oh my god no way you gotta mark this wherever we are I don't know where we are market [Music] slow us down if you can [Music] so we just got on video we're hooked up on number three great papa Dave's on big girl big ship out there yeah a little bit of wind you gotten braids back yet or no so this single-most fooled us when it took you we were getting the first fish out of the net as you guys saw and then this one hit and took pretty much everything back down to the back even more so we're lucky this one's still on the rod yeah she's giving you a good fight they're up at Dave's still muscle of this alright we're about seven eight minutes into this fight we just got braids back trying to keep my back to the wind so you can hear it a little bit it's a big girl this one this was probably the biggest one of the day it's got the whole rod bent [Music] you [Music]
