how can i go detecting when you sat on me like that [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] greetings and welcome to the derbyshire dales back out detecting today and i'm on the donkey field uh he's a little bit nervous today some reason um tell you what it's the right steep hill to get up i'm going to be using the apex today never seen this field before and i have done it very very well and there's not a great deal of signals left but you never know so we can find today so let's fire the machine up today i'm going to use it on i'm going to try it on zero which is all metal i've got the sensitivity one bar from the top let's go into the menu volume iron frequency i'm going to change this to 15 and see how we get on so this is my first signal first hole [Music] high 60s low 70s it was coming in up i opened it up and this is what i found looks very much like a key somebody's back door key look chub definitely gotta be a dorky yep cool let's carry on this is my next target lovely 76 77 wasn't very deep a couple of inches maybe let's see what we've got it looks to be a half penny to me oh what a surprise is my boy look george the fifth half penny first coin of the day this is my next target solid 77 just there might be a bit too big i'm not sure but let's have a look well open it up i don't turn this on right in the middle it's looking green and round and indeed we've got a big penny look george v as usual how many of these have i got now an unbelievable amount that's how many yep cool under the coin let's carry on with the apex look at the sky absolutely stunning today it is really warm probably 15 16 degrees and i've got another signal right next to where i just had that penny so let's get the pin pointer back in and see what we've got probably another big penny well it's against his back back wall just there so if we just take a chunk like that and there we go we have another big penny and surprise surprise george fifth again two pennies in the same hole beaver tail ring pull low 50s i was this is my next signal i like this where are we high numbers that 82 have got a big coin silver or a bit of junk i'm gonna do a live dig on this so x marks the spot there it is right there let's have a look what we've got it's still very new to this machine elizabeth ii big pennies they always give wicked numbers all right george is six i apologize never mind so there's my target it's in the hole solid 78 don't know what it is it looks round and it's poking out a little bit can you see it it is just here got my finger underneath it right now that's looking like a big penny isn't it bring her into the sunlight oh it's edward oh look at that i've kissed it with my spade as well on absolute i do find a few edwards in these fields never had edward silva though out of these fields find very little edward silver full stop to be honest with you but yeah it's another coin in it another big penny turning into one of them days this is my next find just a little uh buckle nothing exciting but i thought i'd film it anyway cool let's carry on gotta be more silver on here this is my next one where are we [Music] just there i've changed it to coins i've changed the second coins because i just it was a bit too noisy on all metal so this one's coming in 75 76 77 [Music] just there let's have a look so i'm going to do a live dig on this one just there i left my little counter thing near the trousers so i have to use this piece of grass instead what do we have ah it's a quid an old quid nothing exciting but i love finding old quids because that will go to the bank with about 300 others i've got it home cool next signal where are we just there look 81 could be good that maybe a bit big and not very shallow it could be a bottle top let's have a look well i knew it'd be too good to be true it's just a big chunk of big chunk of rubbish looks like a wheel off something or a bit of a pulley or something i'm not sure but never mind you've got to dig the rubbish to get the good stuff well this is my next find it's lead and it's got a round imprint or something on it possibly a coin um yeah not too sure about that definitely got some sort of imprint on it and it's about the size of a coin probably a half penny yeah i can just about make out letters and stuff on it really really strange a lot like the the lead imprint i found of the cartwheel penny a few months back yeah kind of cool it's about to break and fall to pieces so unfortunately i'll probably end up in the scrap well yeah it's cool fine this is my next target on the new apex uh i've dug it look at that 90. it's looking like an old georgian coin so it could be something thick or big um but let's get it out and have a look is it george iii is it george the second is it george the first is it william iii who knows i'm gonna go with william iii because look how thick that is that looks like to be in really good condition as well good ish tell you what i'm going to clean this up with the brush in the water and i'll come back to you and we'll see what we've got can you guys see definitely william iii look at it drying in the warmth of the sun so william the third half penny not a great deal on the back but you can make him out there quite easily cool well i'll make that lunch time and what i've got in the food box today we've got egg and rocket sandwiches got a bag of crisps a little chocolate bar and i put myself a tinny today i'm 100 gonna drink this because it's been in there for a few outings now so we have that now i'm gonna sit here enjoy the views and uh enjoy my lunch supporting luke again today hang glue detecting um good lad found a gold coin recently the jammy get so uh this one's for [Music] this is my next target with the apex where are we just there [Music] we've got high 70s it's got a big penny written all over it aren't it let's have a look well i've opened it up and i've got no signal now absolutely no signal whatsoever but watch this there's a coin down there now what is going on there with that yeah that looks cool what's this that's not even a coin it's like a medal i'm to give this a clean up but i'm not sure why that was registering no signal [Music] it is now let's see what we've got if you guys can hear the bells in the background but the church bells are going yeah i've cleaned it up as best i can can't really read what it says but it looks really cool it's got two heads on it on there so i'm gonna say it's probably i don't know possibly got victoria on there and george or in edward i don't know i'll have to look into that when i get home but that's a cool find something interesting somewhat different well this is my next signal it was a really big big target high numbers i thought it was just going to be a chunk of rubbish but have a look at this it's got words and letters all over in all sorts i'll put it in the sunlight for you you see that definitely says london on there at the bottom i'm gonna give this a clean up and i'll come back to you cool i've cleaned it up as much as i can it says milner's at the top and it says hold fast in the middle perhaps liverpool something london i'm not sure on that i don't know what that is but it's cool anyone's got any idea what that could be give us a shout leave a comment right let's carry on this is my next target it was coming in around mid 70s 72 74. it's in there let's see what we've got right yeah it there be a coin a little ball here coin ball or jump ball just getting smaller we have a small silver oh my god it is getting very small now oh god what is it oh it's a half penny look a decimal half penny that's a shame but it's another coin though let's carry on so this is my next target it's coming in solid 83 84 really nice numbers and to me it's looking like a ship off penny i reckon yeah there we go ship off penny we'll take that onto the next just look at that blue sky absolutely beautiful conditions today this one was coming in solid 85 lovely target again let's see what we got oh it's a modern 2p one and two pencil lovely signals then always a really nice signal right let's carry on we got another signal dug it high 70s and what do we have this time it's a half penny of george vi there's his imprint and there's his center parting cool so here's the worst pocket spill ever imaginable we got two modern one peas in the same hole absolutely rubbish well that's me done guys um i've had a really nice time today on the donkey fields digging up tons and tons of pre-decimals um it's been really good fun to be fair no silver again though um on a bit of a drought now can't seem to find silver for love no money thanks very much for watching thanks to all at the front look at all these george the fifths half penny two big pennies and we've got george's six big penny two georgia six half pennies we've gone edward the seventh big penny started to crumble unfortunately uh i think that's george the first that's an old one it could be william iii i can't remember and i can't really tell um then we've got a decimal half penny a couple of spendable pennies 2p in a quid we've got this big back door key little buckle and there's the lead thing i'm still unsure on that but definitely got an imprint of a coin in there you can see the harp on it i'm sure of it um the metal thing turned out to be queen victoria and edward the seventh i believe and this little thing the plaque is off a safe a victorian safe um so yeah that's quite interesting how that got
