Enchanted Victorian house || The Sims 4 Speed build

[Music] hi everybody it's me monica and welcome to another speed build so i have some new subbies so i just wanted to quickly say hi thank you for subscribing to my channel and i'm hoping you are going to enjoy my speed builds i really like doing historical type of builds and also fantasy so that's kind of the theme of my channel i'm really really hoping that you're going to enjoy it here and stay with me for a long long time so today we are going to be doing enchanted victorian house and a lot of you requested me to do another victorian house and i gladly did it because you all know this is my favorite type of house and i didn't do victorian house for some time now and i just thought it's a perfect perfect time to do it um i was kind of in a dark mood lately but i'm not anymore so i decided to do something totally different here in glimmerbrook on 40 by third lot and i just thought it would be very very nice to do something light team the magical looking um honestly i didn't do this house for like in enchanters or mages or anything like it but it can definitely easily be that type of magical house i was actually thinking about family lives in here i have a parent's bedroom and also we have two more bedrooms one is for a teenager and one is for toddler actually so this is kind of a family house and i was thinking about this family and their backstory and they really really like traveling abroad a lot and they're using that inspiration to design their home so even though this is a victorian house when you enter this house it doesn't look just like a typical victorian house because i used a lot of different elements from a lot of different countries and cultures and i just thought that could be a very very cool idea to make a house with and also i never did something like this before i just cannot wait to show you because the color scheme you guys i've never done anything like it it's super light um like pale quite pale i think that's the right word to describe it because i used a lot of gray colors a lot of beige colors and it's i can't even say it's neutral it's just pale and i really kind of played with a lot of different uh textures and a lot of different designs so i'm really really hoping that you are going to like this uh by the way i struggled so much with this exterior especially the roof i change it i don't know how many times thank god i cut cut down my struggles from this footage because it was horrible honestly it was horrible as you can see i already did a roof in here and then after some time i just decided to change it it looked just a little bit too white to me [Music] but at the end everything went quite well i think and also you are going to see that i custom made the fence on that roof and i made it from fences from the debug section from the vampires right now i didn't do that i put some fences from felix andre but i i didn't think those look well enough if that makes sense i wanted to add something a bit stronger something a bit uh i don't even know how to describe it so as you can see i'm putting those little fences in here and i needed to do that a few times because they were a little bit too big so i needed to size them down actually to make them one tile wide so i can put them perfectly and i think that i i was doing that for probably two hours like it's been such a long road i don't even know why did i force that so much but i i just needed to do it and i liked it very much at the end and also i found a picture of this house kind of on pinterest so that was my inspiration and that wasn't a real house it was um more like illustration or and painting or something like that and it looks so beautiful it looked so amazing and i just needed to try it out um of course i had just like the front like the picture of the front of the house but i just made it up and i definitely did some different things that that was that there weren't on the picture oh my god what's with my english today but okay i'm sorry um so yeah i definitely did something different and make it more mine and also guys this is probably the most beautiful garden i've ever done it looks so magical i put a lot of different statues in here and i also put a lot of candles and white flowers and swans and everything it's just magical looking i i cannot find the better word to describe it but i think that you are going to like it uh very very much because it looks so romantic [Music] i really like it i'm actually proud of myself for this for this garden it's not a huge garden and it's not super polished i didn't want it to be um but it's still kind of perfect looking if you ask me it's perfect looking okay uh by the way guys today i used only four custom content creators i used felix andre i used harry and their collaborations of course and also i used max 20's new pack that is now available for early access and i used king falcon's fountains and the railings because honestly i cannot play without it anymore and i actually cleaned up my mods mess yesterday and i'm so happy about it i just moved some things out of my game because the clutter in my catalog just became too much and i just couldn't find anything in my catalog and i was building so so slowly because of it and i just needed to make a change of course i still have quite a lot of designers but i have less of them and on that way i will probably be using less designers um than i usually do so probably downloading for you uh it's going to be a lot a lot of easier and i think that's quite important to all of you even though if you like my builds you probably already have all of the custom content because i'm using the same picks all over and over and over again but today i used some new things and i'm going to show you some new items in here in this house and those are from harry and felix andre shop the look and also that one from max20 that i was just telling you about um from time to time i really like to download some new things and support my favorite designers on patreon if i can you know if i can have the money that month but if i don't have i usually pay them afterwards for those older pecs or something because i usually just download everything from some cc designers i just i just cannot help it this table for instance is from it's from shop look and i i'm pretty sure this is from harry's shop the look and also like this colonials sitting area whatever and i don't know i i just love it don't you love it it's so beautiful and also um i took some screenshots at the morning because in the morning was just the most beautiful lighting that you you could possibly imagine i just loved it in here glimmer brook is such a beautiful word word it's such a beautiful world sometimes i forget um but i think that i really really adore both forgotten hollow and glimmer brook as well as much as i really really love winderberg and those are kind of my favorite worlds especially because of that magical lighting everywhere and i don't know i just decided to build in here because i haven't done that in such a long time as i already said i didn't thought that this should be as like a house for spell crafter or something a spell caster or something but definitely if you want to make a spell sim this could be a perfect house for you and now we started with this interior of the house and as i said it's going to look very pale and i didn't even use so much whites i just used a lot of gray and beige and i just i don't know i loved it so much it's so so different than anything that i've ever done before and i don't even know how did i get this idea i usually just kind of start um doing the exterior and then after some time just i came up with some ideas of how interior of the house should look like and that magical garden and that white house just been asking for this type of interior i don't know do you agree with me or not but you know this is my build so i said so i'm just joking and actually we have three bathrooms this is downstairs bathroom but we also have two bathrooms upstairs so three in total um and [Music] that's that's a lot of bathrooms i don't remember when i did three bathrooms or did i i'm honestly not sure but it sounds a lot to me i must say and here we are in the dining area like this dining area looks so amazing this is probably my favorite dining area i've ever done i must say that this is probably my favorite interior that i've ever done i don't know why but it's so so special and i think that i'm never going to forget this one and downstairs we have this dining area we also have a living room we have a kitchen area and we have bathroom and that's basically it and as you can see this is not a tiny house there is quite a lot of space everywhere and i really try to do as much as i possibly could for this space if if you know what i mean i really wanted to use it on the best way possible and i didn't want to just put like an open concept or something i think that's not a usual thing in victorian houses they have like a lot of corridors and [Music] they're a little bit confusing sometimes i think but i really wanted to do something like this because that's really kind of realistic and when i said that i combined a lot of elements into this design it means that i use like colonial sets from felix andre also um my god parisian set from felix andre uh florence probably even kyoto like i used every single piece that i could find and also i used some modern furniture combined with all of those things so i really wanted to try to find the perfect balance for all of these things and i'm really hoping that i accomplished that [Music] it looks fine to me i guess and here we are in the kitchen and i'm using my all-time favorite counters [Music] paris counters from felix andre's very set and they come in so many swatches like gorgeous swatches and as you can see they're kind of rustic looking and i combined them with this upper counters from harry's country collection if i'm not mistaken um i thought they look so great together so i just wanted to combine them and i know that i'm a little bit boring with this kitchen already but i'm trying to make it different every single time and use different watches for it and just do what i have to do to make it different you know but it's beautiful i think it's beautiful it's so well made and just goes perfectly with my style and i really like those type of historical rustic looking kitchens [Music] and yeah that's why i'm using it every single time in every single build and that's why i'm boring but i really really like this kitchen you guys it just this [Music] swatch is so so nice i think that you could agree and here we are in the master bedroom um this is quite a big room it has a lot of space so i did like this living living room area here and also it has its own office and here i did like a custom closet i would say um nothing special but i think it turned out quite cute this is like a debug item i think the thing for the fireplace i don't even know how it's called um but i made a hanger out of it and it looks quite nice i think that's the best item that i could find for it um also for that i used a real home dream home decorator not a real home dream home decorator pack and i just kind of sized down this counters those those hangers and um of course with the tool mod and i just hide them out with this um god i cannot find the word here is shells yeah hairy shelves and they look quite nice also this fireplace is also from the paris collection and it's beautiful i didn't use it in a lot of my builds because i have some fireplaces that are my um i got used to them they're my kind of favorite ones i would say um but this particular fireplace just looked amazing in here also this desk i don't even know from which collection is that desk but it's super old it's also from felix andre and i just really really love that desk i also didn't use that much but i did in here i think that i basically used a lot of items that i don't necessarily often use in this house because i don't know it just they just clicked so [Music] perfectly together and here we are in another bathroom i of course used this sinks from felix andre they are so beautiful i think that you already notice it in my mermaids build i love them so much they're just so gorgeous they look like a little shells and they look so romantic um i must say that all three bathrooms look not the same but quite similar i used the same tiles the same flooring the same color scheme and things like that i just really wanted them to go together so they so they can look like they belong to the same house basically so i think that i accomplished that and here we are in the teen's bedroom um this is definitely a girl's room i would say but it's not stereotypical teenage looking bedroom i think you would agree like there is no posters everywhere there is no mess i thought that this girl is a lot into music into art into traveling like her parents and she really likes that classy classy type of style and i just think it looks so damn perfect i want that room right now i i must say um we don't have much in here i just basically put the closet and i put this combination between desk and the vanity table [Music] so you can use it at that as a desk or she can put makeup on in here and also she has this little balcony over here that i forgot to furnish by the way i'm so sorry but it's a tiny balcony and usually on those types of balconies people doesn't have furniture so i think it's fine at the end but i honestly really really forgot about that and i also put this kitten in here because i think that every single teenager has a teddy bear in its room i'm not a teenager and i have a gigantic giraffe so i thought that's like a cute little idea and this is a toddler room and this is by far one of my favorite toddler rooms ever i think it looks so beautiful and it's also looking very pale like everything everything else but i think it's perfect for boy or girl whatever sim you want to put in here and it's just adorable i did i put this counters from felix andre so it looks like you have more storage space and there is this beautiful castle that i put in here from tiny travelers from felix andre and harry i use a lot of tiny travelers in here like this closet and this balloon chandeliers and also this swing in here most of the things in here are from tiny to bevelers back and i'm so proud of myself that i could actually make them look different than they usually look like so that was pretty interesting it was pretty interesting to play only with their custom content and i must say i loved it so much i didn't really miss a lot of things and especially because felix andre is making such a beautiful historical items so everything kind of fits together but it was also a challenge you know because i'm not very often challenging myself to have any restrictions at all and i put this beautiful white piano in here because i thought that they really enjoy um playing a piano especially our teenage girl so that was a pretty pretty cute idea
