To sort of sum up one of his major points. He seems to believe its possible for us to be exterminated by ai more directly but we likely will not be lucky enough to reach that point because of human + ai related catastrophes. He also gives several alternative possible scenarios. Thoughts?
Can't get past the intro when he says AI is already conscious, feeling emotions etc.
That's just plain untrue. He either doesn't understand the space or he is trying to disinform.
Thanks for the post. I appreciated Gawdat's suggestion to tax AI 98%(!) I haven't heard too many calling for that extreme, but it's been part of my idealistic solution as well: A heavy global VAT, with most proceeds directed to UBI.
