you in a group yeah how many people three of us three females yes we're the other two eight um one of them I'm still really good friends with are you fast forward with all the hard work and and then when you get the Grammy the one that you don't know where you know that you don't talk to that's probably like in the winter is LMA she probably was like [ __ ] I can't [ __ ] believe me hold the [ __ ] is he win that Boy's Neighborhood it's a pleasure to have this queen back in the neighborhood with me I said air off here okay what bone do you have to pick with me last time last time I came to the studio right remember you had a really dry cough and you were like oh no it's fine I'm fine like and I was like okay I believe you right then I left the studio I went to a different like I went somewhere else and I was on my way home and I get a call they were like big boys has depositive for coven yeah did you get covered no hey man and let me tell you but they said I was but it was the quickest I just had like for 10 minutes not even 10 minutes I had a in my throat you had the nothing else for the whole for the whole time we were in there but nothing else yeah and and then that day so I went you know and I'm like I can't I've tested hundreds of times so I'm like that guy so when I tell I was like because I test that morning I remember you said I remember I test that morning and I was negative I remember and then like after I was like okay because I would test sometimes two three times a day don't ask me why you know what I'm saying yeah man but you know what would have been crazy if you would have said that you gave I gave you covered oh that would have hurt my heart I was fine but I'm glad you're I'm glad you're fine yeah yeah oh no man it tore me down really yeah they had to remove my lung all kind of stuff no they didn't okay well you know don't start no message hey man when you got that call what did you think well I remember I was driving uh I didn't remember where I was driving but I was just like what I didn't have you had Kobe before I have yeah hey man wouldn't that be like a hell of a bond though that we would have I don't know if that's a Bunda I would want like every time I see her I'd be like yeah I'm so glad you didn't get it though no I didn't yeah because when she had came back if you did no you came here to make me feel bad about having Kobe and I could and I couldn't disclose it to you because I didn't know I think the only reason why you released the whole Deluxe was to get back in here now talk to me so you are you about to do do the tour yes we start the tour on March 31st Connecticut yes amen and just with the so-called World being back open did you miss you know because at one point we all had to sit down you know and I know that that becomes you know creative you start to think so on and so forth but were you missing that performing element oh 100 of being an element yeah that my the performance part of it is my favorite part of it so like not being able to do it for so long and and kind of like just not knowing what was going to happen because none of us you know where the world was going it was definitely like a weird feeling I think um but I uh earlier in well the end of last year I talked with Mary J Blige on the good morning gorgeous tour so that was like my kind of like reintroduction to being on stage and like people being in the in the audience and like singing which was really really cool and Mary's one of my all-time favorites so I was just I was really honored to be able to share the stage with her um but it definitely made me ready I'm like yeah I'm ready to go so what does this LMA tour look like oh so I haven't been on my own headline until in four years since my debut album so we've been trying to put all the pieces together and um I know like when I told my debut album I had a three-piece band and I have a four piece band just kind of trying to step it up but I always like everything we've always Built My Show around is just like um we don't want to do too much like we don't want a crazy right big production because it's really about the music and about my voice and um just kind of interacting with my fans so we're still trying to figure it all out we're in rehearsals but and you start March 31st March 31st yeah say hell of a day yeah yeah Man March ready first so do you know where you're going already yeah I I start in Connecticut and I finish in Toronto okay so so more U.S than you hit Canada are you doing world are you looking at different dates so right now we've only uh announced U.S and Canada but I definitely obviously I have to go home there's no way I can learn is it different when you go home because like you can go anywhere just pick a city state no one probably ask for tickets you know what I'm saying like La is probably gonna ask New York Atlanta this is probably an ask in certain places but you go home it's got to be different for people that ask for certain things as far as like tickets and things of that nature you would think so but like my family and friends are very aware that I'm not scared to say no and you know and I asked this before with not with you but I ask all the time because I'm working on saying no and that that's always been the hardest thing for me man really now is that something that you've gotten more used to in the business or have even before then were you okay with saying no I think I was I was always okay with it but I definitely think I've got way more used to it being in the business because people would just completely take advantage if you don't know how to say no yeah um and there's a time and a place like I'm not saying I say no to everybody because that would just be I'd be a mean person um but you definitely have to kind of stand your ground a lot and be like yeah no this is not going to work okay my family and friends like of course I'll put them on the list you don't have to buy a ticket like a free list or like a discount list no a free list unfortunate enough that if I did say no they would still support me yeah I understand them yeah right yeah are you going are you doing any shows in L.A yes I'm buying my tickets because I'm not gonna you ain't gonna say no to me I wouldn't say no to you you might I wouldn't I don't know you probably don't think I show up and give everybody cold you know what I'm saying hey man she waited on this hey dude as soon as I walked in you looked at me like when they told me that when they told me I was coming to see you I was like right because I've been waiting months to be like listen she's probably outside the door like now talk to me about the deluxe like you you give us a great body of music already why did you feel like you you wanted to give us some some extra I think just it was only it's only three songs extra so it's not even a lot like in comparison to how many songs actually recorded but um heart and my sieve is just so special to me and we did record so many other songs I was like it would kind of be a waste to let these just sit on my hard drive for the rest of my life right um and considering we're going on tour and that just means more music for me to be able to perform um I'll just like let's just give them a few more so there's you know it kind of gives life again to something that's so important to me it already kind of like living through your music being vulnerable did you feel like hard on my sleeve was a little bit more of peeling off layers and oh yeah for sure like a lot more layers I feel like than my debut album you know when I went into the studio um recording my debut album it was a lot of like um a kind of a new experience I hadn't been in the studio that that much and I was kind kind of letting like the writers that I was working with take the lead and whatever else but like when I was writing heart on my sleeve I think I was a lot more sure of like what I wanted to say or who I am as an artist you know being able to tour for a whole year off of my debut album just kind of opened my eyes so much um to experiences that I didn't have obviously before my debut album is it different when you when you have your debut versus the so-called sophomore album because Matt are you listening to any of the outside chatter do you feel like like now you're in not competition with yourself but is there a different kind of pressure when you walk in to do another body of work as opposed to what was our introduction yeah I think that was definitely pressure because of how well my debut album did and because of how big boot up was and because of how big trip was I think there was just an automatic like oh let's see what I can come up with next but luckily I feel like um the like the rest of my debut album also did really really well not just boot up and right right so I think it was more it wasn't just like oh is she a one hit wonder a two hit one day it was like okay well the whole body of work was was did really well so now coming back into this body of work of course there was pressure yes right I would be lying to say I didn't listen to any of it and I definitely at the start of my album process was really scared about the sophomore curse I was like terrified right and and that's something you you can't think away even when you talk to yourself you got to be like oh this is ridiculous but it's still there but it's still there yeah but mustard was actually the one that was like man just go in there and do what you do best like don't even think about it just look at it as um as if we were continuing right like you just go in and make songs it's not like I need to make this for the album I need to make this we literally just went in and made songs and it didn't feel like you had to do something where it was like in comparison or competition where it was like oh we hitting with boot I I'm because some people say they're looking for that that next thing that felt the same you're always looking for that so-called next hit yeah what did you feel like early on that pressure surprisingly I did it and I think from the outside looking in you would think like it would it would be normal to think that I did but surprisingly I didn't I think I was more so like um on on a journey of like really really being able to to pour my feelings more so into my music than I did the debut album like I said and I was taking the lead on a lot of things so I was like you know I don't make music to to be able to say oh my God I had a number five on Billboard like of course that's a bonus and and I'll take those as many times as I can um but it to me it wasn't a failure if it if it wasn't booed up or if it wasn't trip or if it wasn't my debut album because I'm super connected to what I worked on um during that time and whatever else comes with it is a bonus room how excited are you for the tour oh my God I'm so excited yeah do you like the bus the trains planes at automobiles do you like that part as well I could leave out the train right or the plane yeah but the like tour buses they're my favorite really yeah like how come they're just comfy they're cozy like obviously when you're when you're sleeping and there's motion it like you don't even realize it kind of like rocks you to sleep I'm not mad at all about this I know a lot of people that don't really like tour buses but I actually I like them hey man before I got in radio I was always on the road you know with groups in Far Side and bodyguarding and things of that nature and I love getting off the bus in places where I'm like man I'll probably ever see these people again you know and I would sit on the bus LMA and I would have the window open I like looking at the road and nature and and you got to think like you are driving right into for people that's showing up to see you that has got to be crazy yeah yeah it's definitely it's like waking up in a new city and seeing different people and having those different experiences like my meet and greets and and I'm lucky enough that a lot of my fans are like similar age to me so like we've kind of gone on a journey together what do they tell you so many things they tell me did you get to did you change my life yeah yeah I I think that's the most important part like even if like I love for people to say you know I love your music and blah blah blah and all of that's great but when people say like oh you really helped me out your music helped me out over like a really bad time or like um I had a flight attendant lady um the other day tell me that my song was the most requested at her wedding and it's just like to be such an important part of your life those are that's the best feeling that makes me know that I'm you know I'm doing something correctly so have you had a chance to do any uh like you go out with Mary J but have you had a chance to do any of like the songs where you're like okay I'm in a position where I can do my album no this heart on my sleeves yeah so this is it the first time it is at the title of the album is I mean the tour as well on my sleeve toy no hanging fruit you cleverly hate it we had to search and find it you know what I'm saying believe that so how long are you out I'm out for two months well U.S and Canada yeah really though and then you'll take it somewhere else yeah yeah I probably may go just see you at home then I don't know should we all go we put that on your Auntie's audience yeah put it put it LMA at home oh my gosh uh or yeah yeah put that on there where did I just see you I just saw you when you walked in no before then I just saw you somewhere really what did I just see it wasn't at the Rock Nation brunch because I never get invited today you know what I'm saying how is that brunch yeah because you were at the Roc Nation brunch right I'm gonna tell you straight up I've never been there I've never been invited I'm sure what happened you're shocked you know what I'm saying I'm 29 years of radio here you know what I'm saying so yeah tell me about what this brunch is you do do you walk in like is it a door do you walk through a wall or it was uh this year it was like a big really big tent um so you go up the hill and there's like little you know um it's like one way in one way out almost so um was anyone looking for me there um nobody specifically asked me for you but I'm sure there were people that were looking for you at any point when you look around and you see I don't know Jay-Z Beyonce whoever's there at any point do you say where's Big Boy yeah I definitely you did yeah man yeah I was at the house I was watching it on uh what's that thing uh social media yeah I was watching it on uh on social media so when you go to the Roc Nation brunch do you eat um because it is brunch no there's definitely food there yeah there's definitely food there but there's so much going on that honestly the three times that I've been I've never oh you've been three times yeah I've never I haven't either yeah wow I haven't eaten anything you get a plus one man uh depending on who you are yeah yeah so they scrutinize that too huh yeah so you've been three times there's definitely less qualified people in the room than you so you should definitely so let's qualified people that's under me yeah because I'm not top tier but there's definitely someone that shouldn't be in there right right I probably had all those people on my show at some point yeah of course oh yeah but I'm not I'm not tripping you crying who got nothing all right yeah hey man let me tell you something uh Rock Nation brunch don't validate me yeah we like to go though yeah yeah you know what I'm saying and even this weekend I'll probably put something on the grill I'll try and put in a good word for you I don't know I don't really have much pool but like I'll try and put it so how do they contact you do they send you like an invitation like how how do you know that you're invited well because maybe I overlooked something must of this Rook Nation okay so for me it's it's like so mustard is Roc Nation so Mustard's probably the one that's telling them don't invite me but I notice every time around Grammy time he don't call me yeah it'll be greater later though it'll be greater let me weak Grammy week is a lot we were literally just talking about this year um I think obviously because it was the first year that the Grammys has really been back in LA and like everything's been open it was it was chaos like I never I've never remembered it to be like there was just so much going how many Grammys do you have I have one one yeah where's your Grammy a it's in my house um on a on a wall what is that and I know you don't go in like man we gotta get a Grammy but to get the Grammy it's like I'll take that Accolade oh it was amazing and I think it because it was my you know I won for for boot up for best r b song and that was my first Grammy so it was just like everything there was so much going on and it was the first time at the Grammys I won a Grammy it was like my first nomination so how long does it take because you don't leave with your Grammy do you no they mail it to you or you get it somehow yeah how long after the ceremony do you get your Grammy uh if the ceremony was in when I won I think it was the end of January I didn't get it until like summertime I want to say it was like June yeah yeah did you ever call like the committee like hey I'm ready no no you're like dude I can order [ __ ] on Amazon is here the next day no no I think there's a lot of awards that take like I my uh my I heart Awards took ages to come I think they got lost and they resent them to me there's an another award that I won in London that I still haven't got like sometimes it just you know stuff gets lost right stuff gets lost all right yeah I'm waiting on this thing from YouTube that still hasn't come yet so we'll see but they send you some tracking now it was more of uh we hit a million Subs oh yeah you know what I'm saying so I'm waiting on this like uh do you have a podcast coming because I come and be a guests you know you sure because everybody else does Yeah man so aside from going on tour yes LMA do you act um I don't like I I grew up acting I went to perform an art school and I would love to get into acting um but no but but nothing like right now no you're more concentrated on the music getting out there doing the tour you know so so with the tour can you see your audience when you do the tour yeah I can see my audience and um I I actually like when I talked with Mary we did um Arenas which is great because the atmosphere is always crazy but I prefer intimate shows right because you're you're so much closer you feel so much more connected you can hear everything better like have you ever seen somebody that threw you off like somebody like Ugh it's a lot of stuff that I'm working on it is it is a lot of stuff that I'm working there is a lot of stuff on stage that can throw you off if you let it though you've literally just got to be like and you know when they say like sports players they're like in a Zone and when you tap into that zone it's like you can't get away from it you're just in this like it's almost like the world doesn't exist I feel like that's the same when we're on do you have rituals before you get on stage or before you perform yeah what do you if you don't mind is there anything you should yeah it's not it's not anything that's super interesting it's just uh make sure I drink some tea I make sure I warm up um especially on tour I like to be on vocal rest for a lot of tour because it's so easy to get sick on the road you're waking up in different and when you say vocal rest do you even watch the conversations that you have too like what about air conditioning oh yeah like in my my room on the bus I'll have to have like a humidifier like it's it I get sick every single time how do you learn that do you learn that or do someone else kind of say Hey you know protect your voice I mean people say it but like until you actually experience it yourself is that's when you really really learn it um but just just trying to take care of myself as much as possible and even like on the road it's hard to eat sometimes like depending on where you are and I'm quite a picky eater um so like sometimes you'll go to places and there's not really any food that you like and then you know that takes a toll on your body if you're not eating properly you're also not resting properly or traveling do you ever do meals at the venue as well like what's on your writer contract yeah so you put butter on your sandwiches yes I do that's crazy why is that crazy you know why because the first time I went over to England yeah I would they or gave us some sandwiches and I was like what is this and I was like oh it's butter I'm like butter yeah like butter and jam yeah yeah that's crazy do you have that on your writer contract no you probably have all the sandwiches when you leave you know it was crazy I've I've yet to find an American bread that I really really like oh now you just American bread american bread oh man America no listen this is man now everybody's gonna be in the comments like big white little just the American bread don't get me wrong I love America don't get me wrong you just don't like our bread it's so sweet why is there so much sugar in the bread what kind of bread are you eating cinnamon bread no no cinnamon raisin normal normal like toastable bread like whole wheat bread but it's so sweet let's try it that's probably why we decide when I eat breakfast I'm very like I'll have toast and tea and I can eat that every single day for breakfast and I'll be honest no not you I promise you toast and tea yeah and where are you from that's crazy that you drink tea no I mean it's not crazy that I drink tea but I'm saying like I can't eat like chicken and waffles for breakfast or like like full bloom like meat and stuff yeah sausage and the baked beans no you know I mean not me personally I just feel it I need something light in the morning and then when I get to lunch I can have like do you cook yeah so you're like cooking up his music Deluxe available for you now baby absolutely yeah um I can cook if I really you won't go you won't starve no no right right I won't stop no but like cooking is just a lot right so getting back to your complaints about America all right so already you don't like our bread I don't okay oh you haven't you didn't say you don't like you haven't found it I haven't I believe it exists somewhere in the country I'm just not sure where and you've tried I've tried what's on your writer contract that you will eat um chips and guac I heard I'm obsessed with chips and guacamole I can eat that every day do they have Mexican restaurants in like in the UK um they do but nowhere near as good as right as over here you should open up one I mean I I don't know how to cook Mexican food so you don't have to I mean I guess you get Italian yeah you know what I'm saying but there's I feel like there's so much competition when it comes to Mexican food in LA or you mean at home number one here we're not going yeah there's too many spots here I'll probably go to the brand what we do need here is is more Jamaican food oh man that's true listen have you been to 876 right there in the valley there's there's a few of them have I yeah I don't know I've only ever really gone to wee jamming yeah yeah Courtney that's my that's my name yeah there's a few of them man it used to be this spot called Joe's Universal but Joe passed on oh my God man you want to go to a Jamaican restaurant where the furniture don't really match you don't understand how you know the food is gonna say man where the person's in there and they're like older like that that's where you want to go if you go to a Jamaican restaurant and the person who is serving you is not rude the food is not going to be good yeah yeah she has to not care about what yeah Joe's Universe where he used to say hey man sit your [ __ ] ass down then he would throw the menu at you but I just want to you know it's not open anymore so I just wanted to paint her a different picture she sent her a different picture of it so do you live in the states as well now yeah you did I've I've moved my whole life so I right I went to high school in New York yeah so I lived in England until I was 12 went to high school New York moved back to England then moved here so I've I've always been back do you have a place in England as well or did you just stay with family well yeah my whole my whole family is in England so yeah all right do they ever come out here and visit you yeah my mom's actually about to come on to part of the tour with me and come and see my shows and stuff has she ever been on tour with you she had she's been to shows she hasn't necessarily been she gonna do like date like back to back dance oh that's dope how amazing is that amazing as much as like and now my mom's taking up photography um so she's like excited to come and bring her camera and like and I'm just oh oh hold on for a second uh no Siri thank you hey man I'll show you how they listening man yeah there it is right there man hopefully they didn't hear me talk about the Rock Nation bro that's that thing man as soon as you start bringing up the brunch everything start going on now you're saying so she'll be on the road is she gonna become your official photographer you don't want to give her that yet not my official photographer but she is she takes great pictures so yeah what made her pick up a camera I think just you know a couple years ago uh I retired her and she didn't have to work anymore so she's there it is she was able to do what she's always wanted to do that she necessarily couldn't do how does that feel when you can say Mom I got you amazing yeah I did that with my mom too rest in peace but yeah all worth it yeah that's beautiful man that's beautiful would you let her do a song with you absolutely not okay she knows how to say no yeah hell yeah my mom is tone deaf I don't even think she would want to embarrass herself that way she really knows I don't know she's not one of the ladies they're like oh viral viral you know what I'm saying no she she no was there music in your household though and I know we had probably had this conversation before you grow up with music yeah I grew up in church with my grandma my grandma's a minister oh yeah is she still with us yeah to this day she's still in the church yes I heard that how did she feel about like your music like your music isn't crazy she acts like she don't hear it that's true she'll listen and if there's something that like she necessarily shouldn't hear she'll just act like she didn't hear it oh because it's technically secular music I guess yeah yeah yeah um but she's she's still like one of my biggest fans and she's still like she understands I mean my grandma's been young before and been like you know I mean she's always been in the church but she understands that I I my music's not terrible right yeah that's what I was saying yeah it could be it could be way worse does she know that her dog that her granddaughters like super famous oh yeah my Grandma's not super old she's she's in her late 70s so she's she's still like she can drive she's super mobile she's like she get on her iPad she'll get on her phone has she been to one of your shows yeah yeah she'll like always have my merch on she's like one of my brothers yeah does she pray for you before you get on yeah I heard that yeah did you ever does she ever take a long time you like hurry up she always my buddy Jose that's with me every day you know we pray all the time but we pray before we even put the car in dry and there's some days we're running late and I'm like oh my Lord I don't want to cut the Lord I don't want to cut the Lord but we we got to bounce yeah you know what I'm saying she always takes a long time but I let her slide hey so you did not that you started up but you were on an X Factor in the UK yeah could you be and I don't know if you have in any capacity but could you be a judge on one of those shows now um yeah I could I I um a couple years ago I was John Legend's uh guest judge on The Voice because he's a he's a judge on the on on the voice and it was really fun to be on the other side of it actually um and I just remember how nervous I was being like the contestant so to be able to be a judge um I just wanted to make sure I didn't hurt anyone's feelings I wouldn't be a mean job you took it from the artist side like oh I know what this feeling is like yeah I wouldn't be a mean judge but it was a cool experience and I think um TV shows are always very different obviously because there's a there's a TV aspect to it um even though it's a competition right um so you get to see you kind of I kind of to see that from both sides um but I would definitely yeah I would definitely in a group yeah how many people three of us and it was a rise yeah where did other where the other day it was three three females yes where the other two at um one of them I'm still really good friends with I'm still really but she's not on the road no she's in London now but what about like hard on my sleep is she on any of the bonus no oh she's not oh okay oh just wondering she's not the same way you went at the recognition oh she's black ball too oh man did you get that part wagon oh my God you know I love you big boy no I'm not I didn't take a disc to that I thought I thought that was wrong how you did your old band mate she's my she's my really good friend she wouldn't take offensive really yeah the other one the other one I have no clue where that's the way she is that's the one that's doing the tell-off but the one that I am so friends with I was friends with before the group so we were friends yeah the the one the other one um we met her like for the group so yeah yeah how does that go where it's like okay it starts with three but you're personal with one you know and then to you going solo it's tough yeah it was definitely I never wanted to be in a girl group because I was just like girls are a headache this is gonna be too much like you obviously have to compromise you have to be all be on the same page and there was three of us everyone's always like who's the lead singer blah blah blah we tried to make sure everything was set up equally for everyone but it was tough I can't lie so once we we mutually agreed to to end it though so it wasn't like somebody just left and then did you think he made a mistake early on no that's good no I think it was I wouldn't uh like if I had to read like if I had to go back some years and redo it I would still do it I I think it taught me a lot about working with people and um just like that was kind of my first introduction to the industry in England and doing like underground shows and stuff like that and meeting people and networking how old are you around that time um 18 and then oh yeah and then when you get you know you fast forward with all the hard work and and then when you get the Grammy the one that you don't know where you know that you don't talk to that was probably like in the winter is LMA she probably I was like [ __ ] oh hoping that you know that that's my English act I do it for you all the time it's actually not the worst one that I've heard you're not bad at it oh man dude it's not the worst one I've heard there was less qualified people like you you got these complications that's like no I'm not dissing you at all it's a complete this though like saying that there were less qualified people yeah should make you we should make you feel better no why are you telling me I could look worse I know but just take it with you okay and then think about it later okay you know what I'm saying as you're dry then you're like oh okay yeah well to tear it up before we even leave I didn't mean any of it in a bad way I'm always very excited it doesn't matter no and thank you for that I really appreciate it it still Cuts Like a Knife yeah it's like I don't know why you continue to come you know what I'm saying but damage you show up to be fair I feel like you you guys always are my like my best interviews thank you Queen because you guys never asked me questions that everybody else asked me 20 000 times yo remember when I try to have you I try to crack you with the Chris Brown thing yeah man I was like oh do you have you like you got to get through this one I saw your interview with him as well yeah yeah both of y'all held down I was like man if they weren't like great artists y'all could be like Bonnie and Clyde y'all can be like running up in Banks and stuff together I'm not trying to run off you never robbed the bank before no no no no you ever thought about it no it's just right now to say no you thought about robbing the bank you thinking about it now just saying no you're thinking about it no yeah yeah this is Chris right here one of the dope is vocalists she has down though oh I know what you're talking about yes when you say LMA held it down what do you mean Chris she just she just she just saw it what do you mean by she just solid Chris you saw something because she didn't give up no info so LMA there's a chemistry there as far as recording yeah she just understands the rhythm of like r b and how to sing like the song that me and her have it's it's not a left field song it's but it's it's a dope it's a her she's clever I'll put it like this she was in her verse she named like six or seven songs that I've done but as as like metaphors within reverse and I was like hey man you know what I get from you too aside from you just being a great person I feel like you don't mind holding other people down like you want all the shine on you and you don't work you're not worried about my feeding my kids you know what that record could have done if you would have gave that to me what I would have done with that in Japan you know what I'm saying like you want all the opportunities remember the I think it was the first time I came here where you was like I read a tweet that you wrote about Mary J Blige calling you and um you were just basically boasting and bragging about the fact that she called your phone and I was like no I wasn't I was just really appreciated but now you're always being like braggadocious though you know what I'm saying every every time we do an interview it's always about you well you did ask me if I'm doing a podcast so if I do start one you will be my very first guest I highly doubt that I think there's way more people at the brunch I mean I think there's way more people qualified that's qualified that's qualified to do the Ella I'm probably episode we have witnesses I promise you you'll be my first guest if I ever do a podcast that means you're gonna you're gonna make sure you don't because when you go to do it you can be like oh my god when I was there I told big he'd be my first one now Ani's recording this on the raw wacko got two three four different angles of it you know what I'm saying I'm going definitely gonna release it virally you know do you ever look back at some of your viral pieces with the neighborhood um I'm gonna send them to you you should yeah you should I like I said I I enjoy coming in because I feel like they're always some of my best interviews So yeah thank you Queen did you want to be a professional soccer player I did yeah that's crazy because you're speaking a lot Orlando said she wanted to be like a race car driver yeah yeah so she's doing her thing and did you play soccer early on football yeah I played I played for like nine years yeah really do you ever get back and do anything now um I tried to I recently took up tennis oh that's the amen isn't tennis harder than what you thought it's so hard and it's so mental as well it's like such a mental sport because it's obviously not a team sport I guess you can play doubles but like it's not a team sport so you really only have why did you pick up tennis for the challenge um just yeah just for something new to do and something new to learn and then we all like kind of has 10 Summers like mustard plays tennis every day now um and we kind of just made it like our thing we all have you ever played against mustard yeah to be honest I haven't played as consistently recently so mustard is definitely better than me right damn I used to be better than him but he's definitely better than me right now yeah get back on it because mustard man he loved to talk a lot about your tennis game yeah he texts me early he was like asking about her tennis game who fed me the question mustard loves to trash talk yeah oh my god do you know what I love about mustard how there's some days on on social media and I haven't been on social media in a while but he would do these things with somebody to say something crazy oh yeah and then he would just take time to go in on him you know go to their picture he'll go all the way down there there's the timeline and find something like I'm like muster got time today he's hilarious that's really his Personality yeah every day I love people don't really know that much of like know that side of him but he's hilarious LMA definitely want to thank you for coming into the neighborhood thank you guys and it's always a pleasure to have you in the neighborhood thank you I really enjoy having you here thank you thank you I enjoy being here and when when you start the tour off do you know when you're coming here May 7th May 7th here yeah oh hello that's a good weekend too that's Cinco de Mayo weekend yes yeah man and it will be in a year since the album drops so that's even more of a celebration I heard that we're going to celebrate with you yeah you know what I'm saying I'm gonna come I want to play piano that night come on let's do it already yeah yeah and do what you want to do I want to sing with her yeah if she don't let her mom sing she definitely you know what I'm saying if you're going to do any charity if you go to your mom first I would think I don't know I might consider you before my mom see there it is she said she might she might the same way she's not getting the podcast you know what I'm saying she just don't know how to break out our hearts completely she's so nice yeah there it is thank you thank you for coming into the neighborhood neighborhood [Music]
