I also never want to use my ears again after listening to that guy talk for under a minute. Holy patronizing tone, Batman.
Ultrasonic cleaners are nice but they are really overkill if you are not buying extremely dirty records. They are also too slow and loud to be used effectively during listening.
I just got a record doctor vi. Pretty low end but I donโt exactly have thousands of records to clean.
My Bosch dishwasher has served me well.
I use a rocket blower and a carbon fiber brush, but I don't find myself clearing very dirty records.
Has anybody tried one of these ultrasonic cleaners? Maybe one of the cheaper ones? What do you use to clean your records?
My Okki Nokki works well enough for me. I think you have to accept that some of your records may have a certain amount of noise youโll never get rid of. If youโre chasing absolute dead quiet youโll drive yourself crazy.
