The Doug Demuro of high end audio YouTube.
He has a pretty fair and honest outlook on things. I can't see myself building PVC speakers any time soon though.
wait monster shit has been around for 20 years?
I'm pretty sure this guy is on reddit too. I remember talking to someone talking about their 3d printed LXmini that were identical to those.
Found it https://www.reddit.com/r/audiophile/comments/54zu4e/3d_printed_diy_speakers_after_5_years_my_setup_is/ u/SnazzyLabs
Anyone got a YouTube link?
He mentioned haggerman labs. I didn't know that they were still around. Got my first USB spdif out from Jim haggerman. Still have it. I have to give it a technical tap, I guess people say percussive maintenance these days, to get it to work sometimes but it's in my PC system and it survived a flood.
I recommend this stuff. He has a lot of good DIY kits for sale, tube stuff, power supply stuff. Great resource for people that feel like pulling out the soldering iron, or designing their own enclosures for.
