folks welcome back to episode efficient flare today we're kind of going fishing kinda this is actually a bad day that I've been looking forward to for quite some time and this is something I want to do because again we don't know exactly what is in the Brut bakery so you're gonna see a little bit later what we're doing I'm pretty excited about it and it'll be interesting to see what we find a Shirley Shirley at the farm the old truck for the first time got dirty look at her definitely need some new tires for this thing this thing's not made for the farm life she's not looking too bad get muddy I like it we're getting somewhere needs we're doing things we're doing dad thanks today no we're not doing that thanks today that's a different video but we are going to be doing something actually pretty exciting it could go south it could go like real south because it's been raining and now it's muddy and basically we're gonna go to the brew bakery with some individuals that are bringing an electric shocking boat which you guys know what that is basically it's like what the dnr type people use there's like prongs that go down the water and it shocks fish and they come to the surface and it's a way for you to do like surveys like see how many like bass are in your pond or bluegills or whatever and like it'll get any sized fish so there could be like five pound bass and Brewbaker we don't even know so that's why I'm bringing them down to see what is all in the pot we want to discover like I said all we've seen so far is crappie and green sunfish that's it that's the only thing that we've seen come out of the Bru bakery so far so we're gonna come down they'll be here in like an hour and a half or so we got a little bit of time to kill we got women to get to the farm early take care of some chores and do all the normal training against prior to them coming down but the odds of them getting stuck going down the boat ramp is like extremely high to where we're probably have to come get one of these tractors around here and pull them out that's my guess I'm I'm like pretty paws they're gonna get stuck because it's like real real money like this is supposed to be just gravel and it's like it's mud and they're gonna go down a they're gonna go down at grass Hill so anyway it could get interesting for two reasons one we might find fish that we didn't know we're in there maybe there's giant bass me but there's northern pike or walleye nobody knows into they're probably get stuck to where we're going to get attracted and they'll tear it all up and it'll be it'll be entertaining show for you guys oh we gotta get tires yeah we gotta get tires so that's gonna be later after we get done shocking we're gonna do a segment with tires basically we're going to put tires in the Brut bakery for cover but we're gonna do it in a more fun way because you have to put holes in the tires otherwise they float and instead of just like puncturing holes we're gonna take an ar-15 and shoot oh yeah these will do oh we got bigger ones back here sheesh what are you the Hulk how are you gonna carry that oh wow oh yeah these are work those will work well okay all right let's roll roll that sucker out bro oh you guys are doing such a good job sheesh so what we're doing is we're gonna take well we got abundant wares not ton of tires on the farm but these are ones that are obviously easy easily accessible the other ones er down in the lake down yonder let's look at let's go grab the trailer well cuz like this is gonna make one tire at a time so let's just go make a tire pile and then by that time the shocking people should be here and so off to shoot them like but let's just go grab the trailer [Music] [Music] all right well we got somewhat of a trailer of tires this should be good enough the individual ad beamer fisheries which is where we got where we stocked those big blue gills he said put tires in there but you have to put holes in them I believe it but at the same time I don't know understand why some of the aerodynamics of the water and this vicinity viscous it what's it called the skin viscosity is that a word we're gonna go dump these off over there and then I don't have time to shoot them we're going to do the shooting after we shocked the Brubaker let's aim like here and a shoe that way yeah we'll make like three piles look at them tire stacks well we forgot one we got three three stacks a little bit later we're gonna go stand down yonder shoot this way and just go that's what we're gonna do we're gonna try to shoot all the tires I've been told you have to put holes in them in order for them to sink Oh as they float if they still float we'll have to chain them all together and then singham cinder blocks but if I was a bass I'd want to hang out I mean we're obviously not gonna make towers for them this will be to be a mountain but it'll give it like bluegills can spawn in the little holes the bass it just gives them covered and we'll put it up a shallow so it'd give them kind of like a little spawning area and also just cover for us to you know go flip the little cheeto Bandito later you know what I mean just yeah all right folks made it down to the brew bakery the truck is getting backed in right now I'm excited I've literally wanted to do this for over a year since we got the bakery I've been wanting shocking you never know what's in here this is gonna be like equivalent to rob Beebe VIN and all the water dragons searching for treasure we're searching for treasure inside the brew bakery did I see what kind of gems are hidden kind of fish are hidden it's gonna be a good day you guys stay tuned [Music] so anything inside the boat is fair game to touch water within the live well you know all the whole we're like a bird on a wire yeah just don't touch the water outside most of the fish that come up are gonna come up between these a no droppers out in front of us in the boat hole okay those anodes are the positive side yeah boat hole itself acts as a cathode and completes the electrical oh really okay we have that on board generator which supplies power to that control box got it that Jeff controls we can manipulate duty-cycle voltage to figure out the good wattage so what we'll do is we'll dip a good representative sample of all the fish that come up prey species predator species the whole forage base god it's all important for us in order to figure out you know predator prey ratios growth bottlenecks will take weights and measures on all the Predators will measure up all the phrase species y'all have any questions let me know sounds good don't fall in the water all you gotta remember bond cell lots of green sunfish maybe one nine pound bass and just one and a bunch of crappie all right here we go dip it my advice is if you see a fish come up it's probably deeper than it looks dip for the head head first really because if you go after the tail they can kind of feel that and sometimes they'll swim out of the field and you only have a few seconds while they're in the field before they'll come to and got it's my mom click on the sticks alright we're all we're going dipping the goal today is to figure out what fish are in here there's any bass other than the ones that we put in here we look for like a dozen so we'll know pretty quick if they're anything we also want to see if the green sunfish are still in here cuz we haven't cottony since ice fishing season mainly if there's anything big I just want a surprising find I want to catch something that's crazy big in this pond oh we're I'm starting oh shoot there's a bass right there we got a bath yeah look at that first bath yeah the green sunfish yeah they're still in here there's a bunch of them coming in hot I got some oh yeah that's a greeny crappy I got to crappies that little crappies so far we've got the three species we knew we're in here we didn't they just that mini bass we've put like we've put some in here I put two fifteen so we catch more than 15 you know it's not all from us that's a bigger green Sun especially that guy that's a decent sized one there well there we go that might be one of the brutes we stopped look at that guy that's where that big roots put in here that big guy I also work out no chimney eat it here just so there and scoop fish what do we have got two baths that are about the size that we stock so we can't we're not positive they're not ours few big blue gills and then green sunfish and yeah I think we might have gotten a crop here - I mean nothing we didn't expect we were like shocked like a very small portion of we saw the long ways to go down 14 minutes of shocking we got all those fish so now it's time for I don't know what's it what's a time for what are you doing now measure and weigh the bass measure the forage and then that's pretty much it green sunfish six six six got a bluegill at eight largemouth 12 more 28 12 460 another crappie at seven four four four now alright bond-style is up to be the dipper we're only going for crappie and bass now or anything else just no green sunfish we got a very good idea that hey yep they're still green sunfish in here there's a large population and kind of what the conclusion that we've come to is that there was too many weeds in the last the previous years have been too many weeds so what happens is during the daylight the Sun the oxygen goes crazy but then at night it goes way down and actually has a fish kill like a winter kill for bass like or winter winter kill in general it's the same thing what happens in the summer we think that's what happened and that the green Suns which are the most tolerant species and so they survived even small crop here pretty tolerant they survived the bass did it so not only do we have a green sunfish pop population problem even if we put a bunch of bass in here we're still gonna have a problem because we gotta control the weeds now we have a weed problem and we have a lack of bass problem but we're gonna keep shocking because you never know we've literally only done a small section we still have a whole other section of the pond that's actually deeper prouder or more about are so what you guys stay tuned that's a big one that's a big loogie oh oh yeah look at all these fish oh so those are all the big blue goes 1 2 3 bonds I'll caught one for the other good thing is we're going to learn where the fish like to hide and even later on like so we're gonna make a little maybe some brush piles knock some of these trees in but this is really good oh yeah that's one of them brutes we stopped okay like this area yeah I figured that out they like this it's a little caught right here a little bit this is where the blue we like to be oh my gosh driving up here so many green sunfish all right there oh my gosh they're all back in this kind do you think we stocked anyone's bigger than this what do you think I don't know if they stop going this small another vast that's like the you know everybody got it good job Basel yeah I don't remember one having a fungus that we put in here either so that I don't know I don't know if these are once we put in or not but we got another bass [Music] John does that get you excited look at that yeah that guy I didn't know these suckers were in here that's a big and dude shoe oh my God look how big this put him in the five well measurement there's best there you go just a little guy he's got a little lip fungus - ten inch blue bill twelve and a half oh my crappie eleven bass 1313 bass eleven well I did not expect that at all to get that big crappie we didn't see any car pre didn't see any catfish but you guys were saying the catfish have like they don't scale so they're not as like susceptible to getting hit and then carp have a little bit higher sensitivity to it to where they kind of like skirt right I did expect to see those but now that I know now I understand why we didn't but I did not expect that big we have we caught five bass we missed one so at least six and we think we - all known so seven which we put six in here so obviously there was not a giant population of bass beyond what we've stocked we don't think those are pretty much the same size what we put in there so we're just assuming they make sense that there's smaller fish because we're thinking that the the small fish can get to the oxygen to get to the surface with action is I explained the whole winter not winter cow summer kill thing earlier which is new to me I didn't know that was a thing so but we're gonna try to do some weed prevention hopefully to control that make sure doesn't happen and we also need about fifty to seventy-five bass that are 12 inches and above the bigger the better I think it's we're gonna start with and let them feast on the screen sunfish we decided to release the green sunfish and use them as forage because otherwise it's like I'm gonna have to go by forage for them it so it's like save money let the bass go also they were saying that the green sunfish are how did you describe it they're slower to reproduce basically like you'll yeah the reproductive potential is a lot less than a normal blue else like a normal blue gill will have a lot of babies every single year green sunfish are a little bit less to where if you just keep giving giving them bass giving a basket mess eventually they'll they'll go away so it's not a big deal the whole time I've been saying we need to get the root of these green sunfish we're gonna do that by getting a bunch of bags can't hear anything we got here Pro today we blew out our eardrums blowing up that damn the other day so how many shot we have 180 180 shots look at yours look out new year's loss yeah I know I take care of my stuff let her eat ready aim fire oh these are not this yeah this isn't gonna do anything look at wait you're telling me it doesn't make any bullet holes bro it did not we gotta get way closer we're too far fire bro I still look at them smoking they're not doing anything these things aren't these tires are way too Hardy that that was a good one this thing this thing do anything but I didn't load 180 bullets for no reason smoking bear oh baby all right well I'm sure it didn't do any more damage but let's go check it out wow this is a total waste how much that money do you think that was an ammo twenty rounds is how much is eight dollars oh that's like we prize spending 100 bucks then I mean I've spent a hundred bucks on worse other than that if these require holes to sink we're gonna have a lot of floating tires on the Brubaker use your back but he's gonna back out that's right good good all right should we test one to make sure doesn't flow give her the Canadian two-step oh it floats no it didn't work I don't think I can pull oh now that one yeah we're actually really stupid all right let's try this one this one's good oh
