[Music] well if God's been good to you but you jump to your feet and testify to somebody on your roof come on just shout up and down the road so somebody guards me and then you come on dead Navy and exciting you want to look at somebody else I just tell them God's been good to me and if you believe God's been good would you do me a favor put your blessing together and give him a number please give this house where we serve a great God and he is greatly to be praised him in favor look over one person and just testified to them tell them neighbor tell them don't be surprised if God blows your mind in the next two weeks cuz he still got time to do it he still got time he's still got time to do it I don't know about you but I'm looking forward to everything God told me was mine in 2019 he's gonna blow my mind that he gonna do it in the next two weeks I dare you turn to somebody else and tell him everything you've been waiting for in 2019 God's gonna answer it in the next two weeks there's an answer there's an answer for God is not a man that he should lie neither see the Son of man that he shall repent but everything God said he's gonna do how many know God is faithful to do it and I have a grateful this morning because I'm excited about what God shall do in the next two weeks I'm look I believe somebody's coming here dancing different to six days from now cuz you're gonna have a crazy testimony that God blew your mind in the next to each aren't you going hears yes and amen I believe it I believe it but I just need thirty praises there just throw your head back is yeah I believe God he's about to blow [Music] what you thought was the loo you to Jesus all we give God threes this morning because he's a good god hallelujah and he is worthy to be breezed why we honor God because his presence is so rich in this place we thank God for his power his presence in his position because he's yet on the throne we thank God for the great bishop over this great house but you help me honor God for this champion of courage this champion of the healing this champion of the door bishop Glen staples come on y'all put y'all hands together open up your mouth and give God a rousing praise because he's still performing miracles hallelujah and we honor God today while we thank God for a bishop we certainly thank God amen for your pastor would you help me honor God for pastor Lamar staples come on put your hands together come on and help me thank God lovely lady that stands by his side come on put your hands together for England certainly for pastor Victoria pastor Vinoba honor God for you all amen to all of the staff pastors and ministers of this great church so all of those in protocol all those I don't know the call I thank God for all of y'all I'm just excited to be back here at temple of praise a man I have the blessed privilege of sharing here on a Saturday morning what about about a hundred and fifty sisters and we taught his church to shreds amen we was running and shout him so since it's more of us today I hope y'all make a little room because I believe God's gonna do something in here amen I'm excited about it I honor got from my pastors and leaders Reverend doctors Floyd any laying fleek all the way up in Jamaica Queens New York Amen who send their love to Bishop Staples Amen I honor God for them for allowing me to be here God is funny y'all because I woke up this morning a man with the scripture in my heart a message in my soul and in my own self I determined until the Lord I was not gonna touch this text today Amen but the man of God the prophet of this house got up and said some things that just told me that I need to go where God was sending me not where I wanted to go a missile we're going to the first book of Genesis chapter number 32 and I'm going to verse number 22 there verse number 31 this morning I'll be reading from the New International Version of scripture and I would that you would help me to signify when you have it shouting amen you don't have to go far Genesis chapter number 32 I'm going to verse number 22 and verse number 31 amen and I'm going to read this morning from the New International Version of Scripture there isn't worried that I believe that the Lord has planted and placed inside of my heart that I want to deliver today because I believe that there is a breakthrough that is attached to this word that she'll in fact penetrate God's people on this morning and lead us into a new decade not a new here but a new decade understanding what it is to walk with God Genesis chapter 32 verse number 22 and if you haven't do me a favor and shout I've got it reading from the New International Version it says that night Jacob got up and what he did is his two wives his two female servants his eleven sons and he crossed the court of the JBOX and then after he had sent them across the stream he had sent over all of his possessions and so Jacob was then left alone and a man wrestled with him until daybreak the text says that when the man saw that he could not overpower him put a post-it there he touched the socket of Jacob's hip and so his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man then the man said to him let me go for it is daybreak by Jacob replied I will not let me go unless it is that you bless me the man asked him what is your name Jacob he answered then the man said your name will no longer be Jacob but I'm gonna call you Israel because you have struggled with God and with a man and you have overcome Jacob said please tell me your name but he replied why is it that she would ask my name then he blessed him right there and so Jacob called that place Peniel it is because I saw God face-to-face and yet my life has been spared then the Sun rose over as he passed about PTL and he was limping it ends like this because his hip was out of place would you do me a favor I have two prayers would you grab the hand of your neighbor this morning and repeat these words after me just a Claire neighbor I am your intercessor come on shout at them and tell them neighbor you are my intercessor when I get my breakthrough you're gonna get your breakthrough when I get blessed you're gonna get blessed so while I'm praying for you I need you to breathe for me and I believe that God shall stand if the power of our agreement in Jesus name Amen father in the name of Jesus it's once more and again that we your humble servants come before your holy head your righteous name and gone this morning before we ask you be anything we want to take the moment to first tell you thank you for everything we thank you for being good and we thank you for being kind and now father we thank you for your mercy now I pray that you would in fact and indeed hide me behind the shadows of your cross that the people can only hear see and know that you are in me I pray now that you would help me preach to the end that sinners are saved lives are changed and the body of Christ is edified and now God we pray for two things a word that is precise and right in Jesus name that the people of God shout a man a man and they met on your way do you see would you help me share my sermonic thought but when you do what you got to do it like you got authority in the spirit realm look at somebody you just push on them a little bit tell them neighbor tell them God is in this God is in this God is God is in he's in this my brothers that my sisters bishops stole my Thunder this morning because what I have discovered is that one of the most complex things that every Christian at some point will come face-to-face with is the fact that not every hard place in your life is the assignment of the enemy that sometimes what it is that you find yourself up against is simply the doings and the allowing and the sovereign nature of the God under whom you serve which I have discovered is sometimes simply not an easy pill to swallow because what it is that I have found out in a very real and personal way in this year alone is that sometimes God's will can knock the very wind out of you and when it does it isn't always easy to adjust to what it is that God has allowed what I've found is that faith would be far more easier to maintain if I could blame the devil for every rough place in my life but what happens when you come face-to-face with a fight that God himself is in and has allowed when you have to reason or come to grips with the fact that God's Will has put you in a Plainville place in a place that's hard to come back from the place that's difficult to snap back into life after a place in which you are struggling to manage all the emotions through and trying to stay anchored in God while going through for someone perhaps you've been wrestling with the spirit of grief or disappointment maybe it's been sickness and heartbreak perhaps it's been setback rejection and abandonment maybe it's been hurt and upset with the dismantling of your life your finances your family unit your marriage your job and everything beyond and you are raising the question about how it is that you can serve God and God still allowed you to experience this for someone maybe you've been wrestling we've been wrestling with doing the will of God but the will of God himself has placed you in a state of unrest and you're in a season where it feels like your peace is gone and your joy is diminished where your hope has died and your emotions are fleeting and now your dreams have become nightmares your vision is blurred and you are trying to under where God could possibly be in the middle of all this you you've experienced so much not as a result of the devil but as a result of what God has allowed that some days as a believer you don't even know if you're coming or you're going but despite all that God has allowed you to go through for whatever reason you haven't and you will not let go of God because something in you is still driving you to hold on to the faith to believe because while God's wheel is sometimes hard to handle you know that life without God would be far more detrimental than this for the safest place in the whole wide world is still if the will of God and for many of us I'd rather go through with God that go through without God well today I came to preach to the individuals who haven't been struggling over the devil messing with your stuff messing with your house messing with your car and your money I haven't come to preach to the people who've been dealing with the surface things but I came to preach to the people who have experienced some of the most traumatic moments of your life that you feel like God should have prevented and you've been fighting to maintain your faith because the will of God has knocked the wind out of you see I came to preach to the people that haven't been struggling over what the devil is doing but I came to deal with those who can be honest enough to admit I'm trying to figure out where God is in the middle of all that I am going through y'all because what it is that I have discovered is that your relationship with God who is a very supreme and sovereign being that his knowledge and his wisdom far exceeds I understanding and sometimes God's will it's just a hard pill to swallow but can I give you the unadulterated truth this morning God never really promised I said it would be easy he never promised I said it would be comfortable he never promised us that we would always like it he'd never even promised us that we would always understand it but what he did tell us is that he hasn't expected him for us I know the plans that I have towards you saith the Lord thoughts of peace and not of evil plans to prosper not to harm you to give you hope and the future and bring you to and expect it in and for the whole school says what I have discovered in faith is that even if I don't believe that I'll get it now I know I'm gonna get it somewhere on the other side because I know we don't talk about having any more but all things used to say that we are often tossed and driven on the Restless seas of time that Samba skies and howling tempest I'll succeed the bright sunshine but if that bright and sunny day with the mixture roll away if I don't get it now the Lord promised me understand and this morning I came to preach to the individuals who say I don't know what God is doing right now I don't understand where he is in this season I'm trying to figure out how this is gonna work out but for some reason I feel like in the middle of everything I'm going through God is still in this I'm crying right now I'm hurting right now I don't get it I don't have much peace right now but the fact that I'm still alive tells me that God would somebody tell the name of God is somewhere in this y'all you don't be seated for a moment y'all listen what I what I've come to talk to you today is the individuals don't know what it feels like to be wrestling not with the devil but wrestling with God yo this is what exactly what Jacob is going through when we pick up this 32nd chapter of the book of Genesis y'all because the Bible tells us that Jacob packs up his family and he heads across the j-mac and then he desires to be alone but the interesting thing that I have discovered is not exactly where Jacob is going but the way in which he had to travel because Pastor Lamar when we look at it what we recognize Jacob had to go through the j-pop across the table in order to get to the place where God would meet him when I looked at where that was when I had discovered is that on one side of the jae bok is the dead sea which is known because nothing traveling from the Jordan to the Dead Sea King Lear but on the other side is the picture of God between two opinions what you see and what you feel this way this way because hold on this right here I know it stuck right now I know you can't see God right but everything so don't you go across just because you're right here hold all right here yeah y'all gotta be seated y'all gotta be seated y'all Jacob is traveling this way understand that way he is he desires to be alone Jacob is headed to this place of complete isolation and now y'all why he is there yo he finds himself in complete silence the Bible says that it is the dark time yo he got there but but the Sun could even arise he had to travel this road of isolation to get to this place and as soon as he thought he found some peace after the Dead Sea and the Sea of Galilee he is sitting there and how to know where here comes God y'all what I came to talk to you today is the individuals who understand that sometimes God has to sit you into a place of isolation so you can have a moment that says here comes gone now the interesting thing is that we always shout when God comes with a miracle but what do you do when God comes to flip your entire world upside down I came to preach to the people who say I don't know where God showed up but I was minding my business I was doing what I was supposed to do I was working on the battlefield I was Justin and praying I don't know where God showed up and he flipped my entire agenda I was comfortable where I wasn't living I was comfortable with what I was doing and I don't know where glide showed up and when he showed up he got some stuff I came to preach to the individuals this bit in a shaking up season you want to let you know and I got to tell you he doesn't love you because when he gets you right here in the water with this right here [Music] Jacob is blindsided by God God shows up out of nowhere and here he is in the middle I believe this here can identify with what it is to be in a fight with God when you're trying to understand how God could be allowing you to go through this I understand what it is to be fighting with God because I know what it is to be in God and still be disappointed you know but the interesting thing that I have discovered is that Jacob is not fighting with the natural man Jacob is not just fighting with any angel but Jacob is fighting with one that carries the name of God himself because what Jacob is experiencing isn't - II got in the form of Humankind situation into but what I've discovered about God is that even if you're going through in him you wanna take upon you his EOKA because his yoke is easy burdens are lies and this morning I came to preach to everybody who felt like you want about to die in this to let you know that the fight you're in it's not designed to kill you designed to take you out but it's designed to take you over it's not designed to take you down but it's designed increase your capacity but maybe you're raising the question preacher how do you know it's not gonna kill me I know it should be so because when you look at the tanks when God stepped in the middle of this side he didn't come to white Jacob out but he came to strengthen his capacity I know it because the Bible tells us some interesting things the text makes some interesting declarations and as the text makes declarations today I want you to make a declaration over yourself and your neighbor you're the first thing we recognize is the Bible says that Jacob overpower him [Music] because [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] good is it this [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] the question is Jacob didn't see a specialist he didn't see off Pedic surgeon he didn't get an x-ray but while his hip was out of joint he was still able to pass over Pitt oh yeah because what I have discovered is that were you were in the ring with God whatever it is that God comes for you only God could hit you and heal you at the same time see see when God comes God doesn't come to destroy he comes to a line it comes to correct he comes to reposition what we thought would be a handicap really became my help I got one more declaration y'all I want you to be very intentional about this the text says that Jacob was wrestling with the angel hip was hit how does talk then it says that the Sun rose over this place that he now called Penta here he says what I've seen God face to face and yet my life has been spared but but the declaration was this grab somebody by the hand and just squeeze them and just encourage them to help make the Sun will shine again Sun will shine again there will be glory [Music] there will be glory I need you to just go touch three people on the shower that Ellen there will be glowing after this [Music] the Sun don't shine to give know there will be Cologne it's gonna get there we'll be there will be love lift your hands in this atmosphere would you do me a favor and just declare this over your life I will not lose my footing I will not be silenced I will walk away from this and there will be glory after this if you believe in would you do me a favor and shout unto God in this place no music just Oasis let's hear the sound come on [Applause] come on all the Grateful people people people I wish I just had about 30 breezes that would just give God a crazy dream because what you thought was the enemy was really good and because God is the greatest [Applause] just move [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] I need 30 brothers who was it the flow for Bishop staples hand web you live for the next 60 seconds would you just intercede for that hand that you're holding because when they walk through the doors of this church this morning you don't really know how he engulfed you no war with God they've been and perhaps that person whose hand you hold them was ready to let go of their faith maybe they wanted to quit maybe they wanted to give up maybe they wanted to throw in the towel but for this next 60 seconds without hesitation and not in silence but like this is designed to strengthen you would you charge this atmosphere with the sound of intercession I don't want you to pray quietly I want you to open up your mouth and bring out loud for that hand you're holding for the next 60 seconds come on church turn your volume up come on turn your volume up Church let's hear the sound of the intercession come on let's hear the sound of the intercession come on turn your volume up Saints let's hear the sound of the intercession come on come on come on charge this atmosphere with the sound of prayer father in the name of Jesus I thank you for the individual whose life I am blessed to stand next to I think you father because this morning the fact that their position here tells me that even through the worst of the storms there yet holding on to your unchanging hand and so now father I want to thank you for the strength of my neighbors are not quit did not give up but not let go implements the what they are going through now father I pray that in the midst of where they are in like they would realize that God is in this that they were not clear they would not give up said they would not be weary in well-doing but they were trusting you all the days of their life I thank you Father because you are a God of miracles signs and wonders and I believe my favorite hymn the next two weeks I'm gonna see your power like never before now father I squeeze my neighbor's hand as a sign of agreement that the worst is now over and the best is still yet to come I squeeze my neighbor's hand as a sign of agreement that they are walking around in victory they are walking around in power and now father I squeeze that hand one more time i person to this hand strength I press into this hand power I press into this handed nourish in Jesus name Nancy Polly said hey would you open up your mouth and give God a grace [Music] [Music] come on why would you say something [Music] and you won't say [Music] naturally that you're gonna let you sit all [Music] as the Prime Minister's would you give me a favor keep saying that something every person would you jump to your fever like quickly because I don't believe that there is a move like this and which we do not see that so and to what God is doing everybody do me a favor get the greatest gift you can in your hand close to fifty dollars see would you give me my phone I'm sowing first come on every person in this room I need you to get the greatest gift you can in your hand close so fifty dollars see this night we're seeding into what we believe but even though we've been in this ring this movement this time that God is about to shoot the trajectory of our life that he's about to touch he'll deliver bless save sanctify free us and do it in the name of Jesus but in the middle of what we're going to do their God is in this and because God is hitting this high agree with that's the Lamarck this morning I am going to give my way through all that I'm going through perhaps this morning what you've been wrestling with is not financial and that's a blessing but maybe you've been in the middle of a financial problem of financial perplexity and this morning I challenge you to believe it even in the midst of where you are the God as it is and when you give it will be giving back to you pressed down shaken together running over and good measure shall men give to your bosom and I believe this morning that God is about to meet you at the point of your knee when you get your seed in your hand without hesitation without a move morning instruction from usher would you run and drop this seed right here the altar and when you deliver it I need you to just like you believe it there's a hard business a waiting there is a harvest that's worried if there's a harvest that's a waiting there is a harvest that's waiting there is a heart because that's waiting in the name of Jesus there is a harvest there is a harvest there is a harvest that's awaiting there is a harvest that's her waiting I need you to believe it when you give you a seed I want you to just shout there was a harvest there was a harvest embers a harvest ever is a harvest there was a harvest that's awaiting and if you believe in I want you to put your blessed hands together come on [Music] [Music] they may water power choir is singing there may be one here this morning who heard that powerful woman of God speak the Word of God and it touched you you decided this is the day that you want to come down this out and join this great church under our great Bishop all great pastor amen I want you to come down the aisle right now the doors of the church I opened a man I want to leave here after hearing a word like that and not be sure if I'm saved amen and you may be saved this morning but you said you know what this is the place I need to call home we invite you to come down right now not me everybody that's here that's already a million or already saved they might need you just an actual neighbor's a neighbor you save amen do you need a church home if they can't say yes Amen or say no Amen come on Walter steak was as he come amen come on celebrate Deacon Rosie please take these and overcome [Music] come on temple appraisers put our hands together there's a bless God for our I knew his family a man do me a favor as they're walking down the aisle I need you to holla welcome home hey man let's all stand wide to get out of here I know about you but but God is in this this is name our bishop will give us our final word of the day and we're getting out of here hey man reach over grab somebody by the hand [Music] let the church say man I wanted to say something to someone I'm not sure who this is for that's a place there's a location for you standing in the spirit it is it's a place that's in between what God said and what makes sense what God see you you never you never get to your destination follow with what makes sense because God never makes sense to us somebody in this room who God is going to use greatly greatly gossamer to elevate somebody use them greatly poly greatly but you're wrestling between what God said and what makes sense everybody that I know [Music] that have done great things in God did something it didn't make sense to them or nobody else I often give the testimony about the law sending me here it didn't make sense I was preparing for a scholarship working on my PhD didn't make sense I didn't have to pay for anything I was already teaching at the school they won't pay for every day and within a couple of weeks God said no leave that behind you'd get that later leave that behind and come and go to DC I didn't know hardly anybody here there that's been probably close to twenty six twenty seven years ago I didn't know anybody because gonna use you just like he used me I wish I did you've delayed a lot of things in your life doing what made sense I don't know who yeah the Lord told me to don't don't do what you think makes sense it didn't make sense to Mary it didn't make sense to Joseph didn't make sense to Elizabeth didn't make sense to Zachariah then God got somebody that's been in my spirit for the last three or four months God's got somebody you can talk to you can't share that information with everybody because with it not making sense it's only going to depress you you'll be talking to your best friend girl they'll make no sense God had turned your world upside then you don't want to be sitting or standing around in this church you're 20 some 30-some now you don't want to be standing up here later on in life 65 70 years old talk about I just didn't believe he's gonna use me somebody holler he can use you to see it's not about it's not about top sometimes we come to church you know you got these church judges that will judge their judge you shout the judge will praise don't preach their judge your preach you have chicken and all they do is sit around and watch other folk I want to release you from the verdict of the church church I commend you to God in the name of Jesus if God said you know work out just fine you may have some ups and downs but ups and downs that's a part of your process difficult days tearful nights not being understood feeling lonely going through changes that's a part of the process but I guarantee you that if God put you in it he can pull you up out of heaven is waiting on you such a neighbor say helpings waiting on you asking say what what does heaven waiting on me for heaven is waiting on you the praise got into mister to mess you in I dad you aren't if you by yourself and you're standing next to a church jugs give God a stupid but give God a praise watches watches Church judges oftentimes can can can disguise themselves so so this is what you do and you'll be gone this would you just turn your name said I don't know if your church judge or not but if you are take this with you now gone [Music] look at some message do you know why I praise him because the Bible says he's worthy to be praised and his prey [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause]
