Edible Crystal (3 ingredients)

[Music] okay okay baby got to cover with sand oh it's wet it's wet all right see you unfortunately I'm not allowed to take this with me so yeah I just wanted to show you guys how they look like at the beach that's pretty isn't it okay let go [Music] B hi guys so a few month ago I interviewed a confectionary company called Mida in Osaka and learned about how to make kohakuto which is a sweet Japanese jelly made of AAR after I came back to Fukuoka I found a local company called harap that makes beautiful kak and it made me want to try making it myself come on h i just wiped the counter ah smells like SE the main ingredients are super simple sugar water and agar that's it this time I used a seaweed called Tanga which is one of the ingredients egar is made from so you can just use agar powder instead it's basically the same [Music] thing rinse the tangus up and boil it for about 20 to 30 minutes on low heat until the water becomes thick if you're using powder you can just mix it in hot [Music] water [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] so I wanted the colors to look like the fuk ocean so I picked this blue [Music] green cool it down in the fridge for about an hour or you can just go to sleep and do it next day [Applause] [Music] you can curve it into any shape you want I'm trying to make it look like crystals it's still jiggly jiggly crystals [Music] [Music] [Music] cute [Music] hi poy you want to say two edible Crystal T you might actually eat it so need to be careful nope all right now I'm going to let this try he did in fact try to eat need it I ended up having to make another smaller one out of [Music] leftovers W it does sound a crystal extra Crystal it's only the very outside layer inside is supposed to be still jelly yeah isn't it cool I want to bite it yeah let's bite it hi a you want to bite it too okay M this is really fun the outside layer is crunchy and the inside is a soft jelly it's way too sugary for you pokey sorry I think this would be a really fun project to do with kids you think I would have loved this when I was little yeah can you believe that you eating seaweed it's oh really yeah lots of sugar but yeah it's from the sea T by the way these are the ones made by professionals this is the one from M and this is the one from oh my God you can be creative and mix stff like this wow this is not sponsored or anything but love to but anyway so they have all kinds of different Crystal shapes and colors I oh my God I love it and it's not that difficult to make as you guys saw it's literally three ingredients as some any flavoring you like and then shape it however you like I still like the one from M sea the best the texture and flavor wise I like all of them I mean how can you not like sugar [Music] crystals it's really fun and not that difficult to make if you guys interested please give it a try thank you for watching see you guys soon bye
