unprovoked and according to what we heard this morning over 2 000 civilians are already dead vladimir putin is a murderer a murderer is leading russia and according to what the ukrainian president mr zielinski said that over six thousand um russian soldiers have been killed by the ukrainians the news media didn't verify that but we can see the slot of many young russians that vladimir putin they call it conscript he recruit them recruited them according to the report they didn't know where they were going or what they're going on they were told they were going on training and so they are not going back home alive and if russia is hearing me as said the president of ukraine this morning your sons are coming back to you in dead body body bags because your president sent them off to be killed and while i say that whilst everybody in ukraine is not a jew the young man that is leading the president at the moment is of jewish descent and just about anywhere on the heaven there is a jew god has made it his business to care about them and i'm going to ask us to remember them in prayer pray for the peace of jerusalem because all you see that they were going on with is jerusalem is after he wants to pull israel into it so that hell can break loose because anyhow israel gets involved it's world war three and then it's going to be a cataclysmic end but god is still on the throne we want to continue as i said pray for jamaica that the guns will be taken out of the society today as we are praying it's ash wednesday the nation is on a holiday today down there and now is the time when i hope our sisters and brothers at fogo road are really tuning in and praying and seeking the face of the lord with us at this moment we don't need any special invite to churches around to bow before the lord and to seek his face so anywhere we are on the heaven anywhere people are on the heaven and you are not working it's a it's a prime time to seek the lord we will be joined by love say i have to go and do another test i'm wondering what is this i'm so tired of this testing testing anyway um it was the cancer um center where i did the chemo and everything that doctor said she want our own report so i said let me go and they said i must be unfasting the night before and by eight o'clock i should be there and i said okay if i can go on fasting for them i can go on fasting for god so i wasn't fasting so when i went i i still was wondering i said to the gentleman why am i doing all of this again because they're gonna take blood tests and so many blood and whatever and he said they just want to be sure i said but i get my report already and he said well your doctor over here want a report so i say okay go ahead and he told me after i after i did the the injection and took the blood i would have to say an hour and a half before i go and machine and when i say god you are my heel and i know i've got my healing already but to prove the devil wrong i'm go i'm just going with what they say because that doctor i've never seen me after i did my operation anyway when i went down he said after i did the upper um the test i would be have to stay away for eight hours from everybody because of the radiation so i go and i did it and by i think it was monday and they called han because what we did we gave the two telephone numbers so anybody can receive the call and and call me and say mommy now that you can make sure i said make sure of what he said your doctor said um your cancer doctors um ray um the chemo doctor said you are cancer-free i said what [Music] and the children the children came running inside and saying grandma you can't suffer i said welcome to fearlove all along amen said to me mommy you're not to talk about no cancer you have no cancer that's right and i said thank the lord and we were there rejoicing i'm telling these grandchildren if you see them jumping around you see them coming here like they don't have any mouth i tell you they are spreading to me at home and they're just jumping grandma you're cancer-free this morning i just want to thank god thank god i just want to thank god yesterday um i heard we were having fasting and i planned to come to fasting i said yes i'm coming to fasting and i tell you when um this child usually carried her two babies to up first to help with her with them and she didn't carry them for a long while so when uncle came in i told ander bishop said we have been fasting in church today and the first word came out of our mod mommy you can go if the if the children come i'll watch them bless the name of jesus i was listening for her to say mommy remember you have the children if they come what are you gonna do what you say mommy i will watch them you know what they gone to the grocery this man they carry the two children gone with them and i could get to come to church god is answering prior graduation god is answering prayer and well sometimes god used you know the because god has been so good to me miracle so i came up here and i'm at home the pandemic is raging and i'm watching my church online because i i used to go to the assemblies of god but i like it and i used to be there but there was always something i'm missing i don't know i couldn't figure i couldn't figure what it is i get the word i do studies i go into ministry i said god me what can you do with me i can't even talk anymore whatever y'all i'm still searching and i'm still in my heart i feel a little emptiness like what is it god so i start watching online and i start going through my sister sent a church from bridgeport new testament church of god because we we were born and raised in the new testament church of god we had no excuse growing up as children you better wash your footwork two miles and go to church no excuse you have to be you have to be dying not to go nevermind so i guess when after all that my mom was such a christian woman we grow up we get church out we run out you know most of us we become adults but it is still there and i want to tell parents this morning set the foundation for your children because it will be there yes no matter how far they go there is a line that they will not cross because the seed has been planted in their mind i know the seed was planted in us because no matter in my party in days and everything there was things that i would not do i would feel something out of place i would wear the skin piece of clothes good i will do everything but some lines there was nothing i could cross and now i know what it was i didn't know what it was then you know but now i know so when i got up here i started searching online different church popping up so i see this church pop up echoes of praise i said echoes of praise i never hear of that name so i start watching watch a couple weeks and i like the worship and i said okay i start watching so i watch my church watch this one and watch one from jamaica because i'm searching i didn't even know what i was searching for then one day there was a babysitter that used to take care of my grandkids she i think she know pastor very well sister paulette and i see the name come up so i text her i said where's the walker is that the the pastor the bishop that you always tell because she always says i'm inviting you to come up to come to church with us but i was supposed to come up every sunday with them to go to church i never because i couldn't leave i want to go when i do get off from work because i always have to work so when you get one sunday off you're not gonna go anywhere you're gonna go to your church so i start watching and then i start watching and i start watching and i feel comfortable no i forget to watch my church i start watching and i keep watching and i watch this ministry for more than a year glory to god i watch sometime i text sometimes i don't i just watch every sunday if i'm at work i have been my earphone if it's um communion time i get my water at work and i hustle and if my patient is there she said what are you doing i say i'm listening to my church and i will get my little crackers and i'll do my communion and i watch and i watch and i watch and then when when i finally get to call one day i think he was doing some something online it was when they had that thing with that cult pastor and then my babysitter that used to be the miss paul and she said you know he's living just around from you i said yeah so one morning am i on youtube one morning i'm walking because i usually walk the community i see this man sweeping so i was walking with my friend i said what a man can sweep it must be a jamaica crush cause even when the driveway was so clean the man was still sweeping so we we're just walking and looking and i'm saying who sweep like that for a man because you hardly find men sleep you know sweep so we are there gonna make it fun to say boy this is a con man sweeping then he rolled up his head then i realized him so i said hi bishop i couldn't let them know we were kind of making fun not in a bad way but just saying you know oh it clean is and then i i finally got to come here bredrin and i just want to tell you i'm so happy glory to god you guys take me in with open arms and um i i started now to feel that i know what i was missing that's the name i was missing foundation and i want to tell anyone out there that is on the portal god don't call no solo christians god called people to have foundation and i want the churches and the ministers to know there are people out there who are safe but just need backup yes just need a calgary where they can't call upon to say back me up they are searching because i can tell you going to church is not serving god you can get the word you can get the word the good word but if you don't feel wanted if you don't feel like beloved somebody would say what happened to sister lee i don't see her art the other morning i was so sick i reach out online and i type and right away pastor stop and everybody prayed you want that kind of relationship you want that community around you as a christian and there are so many people who are suffering and i think we as christians have to do a better job to to get them into the fall we have too much christian that feel like if i don't wear the type of dress that you wear i'm not welcome i'm sad to say that is what is going on if you don't think i have the amount of money or the educational background i am set apart and you're going to church and you feel isolated or if i'm black and if you have a spanish creed there are you over that we are not open to people and we are sending christians back into the world who feel isolated we have to do a better job as christians because i tell you i can read for myself i can pray for myself but i felt wanted i felt wanted when i come here i felt happy i felt family nobody judged me i didn't feel like i was being judged i come in here the first day i dance i worship i could get crazy for god and i didn't feel judged and i'm learning don't look at my crazy heart i have worn heart for a long time in church i sent a program to one of my friends and she said oh i don't want to watch i don't want to go into those church where i have to wear heart let me tell you something if i have to wear a hat to feel comfortable before god i got fine heart yes and bear with me because i will find till i find the good heart i am getting back into the heart business because we couldn't go to church in church of god and you know what they're saying it's old-time gospel but let me tell you something i used to wear a lot of drill i used to wear pants to church where i used to go to church and all of a sudden i stopped wearing it i couldn't feel comfortable wearing it again nobody told me to i didn't feel comfortable and during my time i hope i'm not taking up too much of your time i just want to get this off my chest because it's on it during my time worshiping there my pastor who used to do us in ministry class she said wherever you go to worship you have to obey the rules of the house man she does not really have to church what she said you have to obey who god sent over you and if the rules of the church is for heart you better get wearing it she said she went to preach at indian church and she has to wear the indian gum too much of us i think we need back some of the whole time guys that's right yeah because you know what we allow things to happen and we allow to wear things and then it gets out of hand it gets out of hand and i'm telling you dates quite well it was the fifth of november i went to the doctor and when they did the biopsy the doctor said to me mrs walker it seems like cancer but i'm not telling you anything to worry about and i went home and i said is not cancer i tell myself it's not cancer and i forget totally about that until one monday morning i think it was about the 16th of november i got the call the doctor called and said mrs walker it's cancer in your head and i said i broke down immediately i couldn't even talk on the phone i had to call ruth and i was right in this church house and that monday morning to i said root and take the phone from me and she began to talk to talk to whoever called her on the phone and she said what next what i'm what what are we supposed to do and the person on the other line said well the only thing you can do is to do a surgery and you have to get it done immediately we don't say root and i heard the doctor say you don't have insurance and wrote that on the phone it's a booker and how much it must cost booker no and she later started telling her you can't afford it because it is going to cost so much and so much and so much and little root and get so mad and mad on the phone and root answer lady as said book or no shall we praise god and that surgery was the 25th of november 2021 and my god the devil said that's not enough because the devil said i'm going to take you out shall we praise the lord shall we praise the lord shall we praise the lord i i think it was in september last year in september last year my brother came to look for me one tuesday wednesday morning i was in the kitchen i was cooking soup for the churro to sell because everybody know that i used to sell my soup on a wednesday and while i was at the stove that wednesday i started feeling the pain and i said what is my tummy not feeling good right here so it was just on my left side anyway i didn't appeat any man because i said maybe it was gas or something you know friday morning it was the same thing i said i have to go to the doctor saturday morning when i went to the doctor saturday morning he said it was diversity colitis i said i don't even really know what that is but he told me when i went home i look it up and i saw what it was and he gave me a whole bunch of medication to take and i started taking this medication a pain would just not go away since in christ i went back to the er and the twos at the following week and when they did the um x-ray they say it's i have i i have something on my ovaries and i have to find my gynecologist immediately i say god what is this no and the pain was just there it was just there it was just there and god was so much on my side because i i i called the gynecologist the wednesday and he said you have to come in the fr and he said come to friday normally you don't get up um so so fast but god was still on the job and i went there the friday and the doctor was so i'm he said it's a mrs walker you have to go into surgery because when i showed him the report from the er where i'm coming from he said why they didn't why they didn't they didn't um admit you right away i said i don't know dr jojo send me home and say i must come to you and here i am and he said to me you're going to do a surgery and you have to get it done he gave me a whole bunch saints in christ a list of things what i am to do in the earth in the week coming and come back to him for the to take the deed for the surgery god was on my side when i came to church sunday morning i was in so much pain but i always tell myself in a sense in christ i don't know about anybody else when i come to church peeing on opinion i am going to worship god so you're not going to know if i am feeling any pain and i was sitting right there and the pain was rocking my body just right here i could not get at ease and after service sunday evening the doctor called and said mrs walker come down to the hospital and let us do the test for you dear so you won't have to go all where he had sent me before sent in christ when i reached hospital that sunday evening i don't know if they could do so much tests on one person but they believe you me they send you from this place to the next place to the next place and adjust that they have missed ending around and when i came back in the room where they gave me is a whole lot of doctors in there and i said to myself why are all these doctor here and i said well it's all about me so i am going to ask questions i said i turned to one at the doctor and i said what is it what is going on and the doctor turned to me and said mrs walker it doesn't look good and you are not going home you have to do a surgery tomorrow morning i broke down right away since in christ the doctor turned to me and said is did you alone came i said no my husband and my daughter resulted he said call them and tell them to go home because they're not going home since in christ you are no excuse nobody around you to comfort you but god was with me in that hospital i bought god and i lay there in that hospital room and i said god it is all in your hands i can't do anything about it and all the tests come back it was showing that it was cancer i said god not again to cancer hit my body in space of one year because it wasn't here yet since i did the one in my head and i said god not again it's just too much and saints in christ i lay in that hospital that that sunday night and i tell you some things was just going through my mind it was just going through my mind monday morning when i woke up they came to me and said mrs walker we're not going to do the surgery to this morning again but tuesday morning at 7 30 get yourself ready and they prep they'll give me alkaline or something to wash me that evening when stood monday evening come the doctor came to me and said mrs walker we you are going into i said i know doctor the other doctor told me he said to me that do you know the surgery is going to last for six to seven hours i said what he said to me that is a major surgery a doctor didn't i said no he didn't tell me that part doctor i missed that part and i s and i just i just started say god i thank you but the doctor told me one thing when he came to see me last in the hospital before tuesday morning he said mrs walker and i he saw me was crying he said to me that mrs walker if you break all your family member break and i don't forget that and i said god i cannot i can't breathe god i can't break and i can't call our my husband caller my children call and they hear me sounding anywhere let me tell you things in christ i pull myself together and every call i get you would not believe that i am laying in that hospital bed and i said god i thank you i thank you i thank you i thank you and i was in that hospital room without insurance waiting on a major surgery and god came through for me when i came out at the hospital one day i got the bill i got the bill warmer when i look up the bill and i look it was 50 000 and they said i take off something come down to 31 000 and i said god where am i going to get this money to pay this hospital bill joel came in the living room i saw me with it and he said mommy where are we going okay this morning i said joel i don't do about god have it so real mr i don't know where i'm going to get this money but all i know i give god thanks and prayers because all what was in my body god allowed me to come out and i am under mending so if he calls me to get the surgery he's going to pay that bill also because he know that we don't have that kind of money and since in christ let me tell you something i called my doctor and i said look i don't have this money to pay and he's and i said what are we going to do and he tell me what to do since in christ and let me tell you something today i don't know the hospital one cent because god come through for me again sending christ i have to give god thanks and prayers when you say i don't look like what i have been through and i said i i say sense in christ god has been good to us god has been good to me and when the devil it seems that he never see me a praise god too much you know sister and let me tell you something i have a sick year i've been having it for years but it wasn't so bad until no and i even getting therapy on it and i had an appointment yesterday and when i went to the doctor yesterday let me tell you something saint in christ if if you are play a church if you are play a church i'm sorry for you because let me tell you something sometimes something is going to come upon you and take you suddenly and if you don't know god for yourself and knock you off your feet and when the doctor tell me yesterday again say mrs walker you have to do another surgery i said god not again i am standing i say when storm clothes rule below's rule let me tell you something i say i don't look like what i have been through i don't look like what i am going through since in christ but god is with me and god is with my family too is not only me but i am not going to give up i'm not going to give up i call my host i was at home the other day and i called bishop and i said bishop listen to me i said i am not a conqueror i am more than a conqueror since in christ and may i tell the devil this morning that i am not just a conqueror i am more than a conqueror and this too shall pass and as as bishop told me last night you you you are not going under sweeter you're going to come with better and stronger and i hold that dear to my heart because god god is with me and and i keep telling the devil no matter what he comes with he's not going to get me because he can't take me over before me time if god if god don't give him that permission he consistent dedicated to what we do in the kingdom of god as he is concerning his attacks upon us it would this place could not hold but the lord is preserving her elect lady and i want you to take courage the storm clouds are rising the billers are rolling and dashing but if god be for us who can be against us one of the things that she didn't tell you is that when the doctor sent her home her gynecologist that friday evening just like when they threw daniel in the lion's den and the king could not sleep she forgot to tell you that before we came to church sunday morning just as we were in the house getting ready the children had driven out and left us behind the phone rang and the doctor on the other end said mr walker i said yes sir she said this is dr so and so i it's karen there i said yes he said well i want to tell you that from she left my office friday evening i am in no peace and he said i didn't sleep last night because i am concerned about her and i said to her this is god's doing and he told us that this is not something to play with we weren't going to play with it so god delivered her from that and a major surgery how many doctors did you have in all around you when you were doing that last surgery she had eight of them around her in watch like the four quarters of soldiers that kept peter while he was in jail that's how god protected her all of the maladies that they fear would be in her body they found a specialist and brought him or her in to be in the operating theater to make sure that she is well sunday morning monday afternoon the doctor spoke to me and i've never seen another husband that a doctor kept calling and giving an update like i felt i one of the time i felt like i was a doctor too that's correct but tuesday morning he called me just before the surgery and he said there's only one request i have a view and he said i know you're a praying man but all i'm asking you to do one thing pray for me and the team that this surgery will go well i said it it shall be so dark and hence we prayed today she's not worst off she's better off it's a different attack but god's got that are you hearing me i said it's a different attack but god's got that are you hearing me bless the name of jesus so elect lady we love you dearly and when i when i get up in the mornings out of my bed you see how beautiful she is she's a rose better than a rose she's a woman of excellence and when i get up out of my bed like this morning i i know it was the devil telling me this one lay down you're going to keep fasting later don't worry the morning prayer and so on and i almost agreed with him and then the holy ghost said but how could you today is the first day of lent and if any day you're supposed to get up and charge the atmosphere it's today so i jumped up i i i got off the bed so fast i wonder if she was gonna wake up and say how you got off so fast but i jumped literally a little like i jumped out of the devil's head and said look at this what about the fresh that's the name of jesus the sacrifices that are being made to proclaim proclaim the gospel across the ends of the earth that's why i tell you all the time your money cannot buy me you don't know you see my you see the glory but you don't know the story you see the glory but you don't know the story you see me before the camera but you don't know the labor and the sacrifice people o lord of course i said this morning that it's the lenten season today's ash wednesday and each year when we start talking about lent and easter we hear the families questions from so many people such as what is lent sister melissa leslie is it an official christian holiday was it instituted in the bible what does it mean to observe lent and are christians required to do so for the interested ones we'll try to answer these questions briefly lent is the span of time in the church's calendar that starts on ash wednesday it ends officially on easter sunday missionary sophie lewis ash wednesday commemorates the beginning of jesus's 40 days in fasting and prayer and temptation in the wilderness we conflate that with the last days before his crucifixion and according to the canonical gospel of matthew mark and luke jesus spent 40 days fasting in the desert where he endured temptation by satan ash wednesday marks the beginning of this liturgical 40-day period of prayer and fasting or abstinence of the 46 days until easter six are sundays as the christian sabbath sundays are not included in the fasting period and are instead feast days due relentless ashwin's day derives its name from the practice of placing ashes on the forehead of adherence as a celebration and a reminder of human mortality and as a sign of mourning and repentance to god the ashes used are typically gathered from the burning of the palms from the previous years palm sunday so the palm leaves of the palm trees from last year's palm sunday would have been burnt and the ash would have been used this year to mark the foreheads of alerans the imposition of ash ashes on ash wednesday has been historically observed by the anglican church the catholic church the lutheran church or lutheran christians it has also become a standard practice in the methodist church in addition to these liturgical denominations some anabaptists and reformed churches which abandoned the practice after the reformation now also observed this day which has become popular in much of christianity in general easter sunday commemorates christ's resurrection from the dead in the grave after his crucifixion lent then is generally observed as a time for christians to reflect to repent and to pray as a way of preparing their hearts for easter because easter is the holiest time in the christian calendar it is commonly observed nowadays by virtually all those who are truly biblically sound many christians from different theological persuasion choose to observe it as a way of focusing their thoughts on jesus christ during the lent to easter season there are different ways to observe lent in different areas and places on the heaven it differs from person to person and from church to church but some of the things christian opted to do to observe in the season of lent includes on the first day of lent which is ash wednesday today some christians mark their foreign as i said with ash a symbol of sorrow and mourning over their sins job 42 is an example of ash used as a symbol of repentance special worship services like we're having here are or additions to regular worship services that focus in various ways as man's need for repentance this often takes a form of extra scripture reading and prayer and that's why we would have so many of you praying in here this morning some christians choose to give up habits or behaviors during the lenten season as an exercise in prayerful self-denial this might range from something as simple as not drinking soda during lent to a full-blown program of fasting some christians commit to a special devotional activity during lent for example daily scripture reading regular prayer for a specific person or topic throughout lent or volunteer work in their community are you here with me still the choice to observe lent is a personal one the whole point is to focus your heart and mind on jesus during the journey to easter there is no requirement to observe it biblically nor should you feel guilty into participating you don't let no one tell you well well you don't have to do it if you do it you're out of the blah blah however millions of christians around the world do observe lent each year if you've never done so why not give it a try this time follow us we'll be on ear we will be in here and we will be doing exactly what the lord wants us to do so whether you observe lent in a small and or major way you will be amazed at what happened when you devote a part of each day to reflecting on jesus christ at god's word are you with me here i want to just invite you to join in and consider the lenten season as one way that you can deepen your relationship with jesus christ over the coming weeks you can you can you can reach mountains and heights in god and christ in 40 days if you will commit yourself to it whether you call it lent observe observ observance or daily devotion or anything else time spent reflecting on jesus is time well spent are you with me and so today i know that the the world is hurting my heart pains me when i look on the news see in distant lands where people are intelligent they have beautiful societies they have great ambitions they have monuments to show what they have achieved some of the societies are really god-fearing some are less god-fearing yet in these places satan and his minions are running raptured many are hurting in nigeria boko haram a terrorist group have decimated communities taking their young girls carding them off into places where nobody knows marrying them off selling them to their cronies in afghanistan young girls want to go to school and become scientists and nurses and doctors but because of this these all archaic laws that must have been drafted in hell the taliban would not have them studying they are like just sex objects and to be objectified and to stay home they cannot be found on the street without a man covering them when the man looked like a puppy show comparing to them then you look at the country of ukraine as i brought to your attention a few mornings ago yesterday to be exact how ukraine is one of the richest places in europe in many many instances they are first second third or fourth in the world in the things whether it be or or minerals or any other thing that the the country produces they are not second fiddle to any and anybody and in grudge and malignant malice vladimir putin who have some very friends some some obvious good friends in high places in america decided that he will begrudge them and he would castigate them and he would lie on them and he would crank up his misinformation aiming machine so that he could malign the country and when he did all that and it didn't work he decided with brute force well if i can't convince the world that ukraine is being run by nazis and by pimps and by drug addicts then i'm just going in with my mighty army and i'm going to decimate amen their cities and killed them it's exactly what he's doing now america says no-fly zone in our ear space russia cut off the the banks from doing business slap other sanctions on them but while america is busy along with europe putting these things in place putin is advancing on these people and he's killing them torching their buildings raymond reducing them to rubble and destroying so many lives and then you look in the middle east and you see that hamas has been fighting all when nobody troubled them the bible says that we can flee when no one pursueth but they want the city called jerusalem that it would be moral madness for america to negotiate with the palestinians so that they can take um jerusalem whether the old city or the present one god forbid jerusalem is the city of our great god and under god i will not stop praying amen that jerusalem will not be taken by any arabs or by any of those muslims are you with me here glory to god like i said i would not try to preach the text i guess i'd better leave it for another time but one of the things that i want to pull out here and then hand over back to a moderator to close up is that joel issued a call to israel an invite of god how can we persuade god to have mercy upon us jeremiah joel says spear that that implies that god's people deserve judgment but they plead for mercy this ash wednesday america deserves judgment but we plead for mercy the caribbean deserve judgment but we plead for mercy europe deserve judgment but we plead for mercy cannot deserve judgment but we plead for mercy africa deserve judgment but
