I know my like I woke up today I'm like girl you're glowing my skin is glowing hello and welcome to the views club today I'm gonna show you how to make a raspberry pineapple agua fresca if you guys can feel it I can feel it it's getting hot summertime is coming so this drink is gonna be whether you want to have a refreshing detox drink you want to spoil yourself with a little sugar or you want to make them into popsicle for the kids i'll boley's let me show you how to do it in my blender i have 5 cups of water what you guys want to do on your end is that these recipes that i give you for alpha desk are very forgiving from the fruit content to the water so just adjust a little bit based on the starter recipe that I'm giving you guys ok so what we're gonna do first is we're gonna go ahead and put this cup of raspberries into our blender okay if you have all these ingredients fresh perfect but I'm noticing that a lot of like my fruits and vegetables are starting to spoil a little bit faster so I'm incorporating more frozen frozen fruits which is great because everything gets sealed like this you know when they get freeze dried I think that's the dough right it's an instant um instant style alright so I'm gonna start off with half of lemon juice if you don't have lemon go ahead and use a lime it's gonna change the flavor profile because lemon tends to be a little bit sweeter but just go ahead and try it that route first and you know I'm a fan of Meyer lemons that's my favorite lemon in the whole world you get a hold of that one you're gonna smell the difference in that one yeah this is a Meyer lemon you could just smell the difference seriously it is a boozy little thing cause you get like six but hey they're lemons are gonna be worth it and here's the best part if you guys did my own watch heal it and you guys did it with the Meyers lemon oh heavens that's amazing so let me go ahead and blend this and I'm gonna blend this for about since I have frozen fruit it's gonna be four to five minutes okay before we begin blending a lot of you have been asking me what type of blender am I using I always say make it comfortable for your home but the one that I've been using and it's been holding it down is a ninja professional 1000 watts blender you guys I have a Vitamix I'll bring it out next time but I'm not crazy about it I really I'm not this one's just easy cleanup and it gets the job done like we wanted to do right now so let's hit it let me go ahead and taste check the consistency of our blend oh okay for all my friends going through the keto for all my friends detoxing for all my friends that are in a diet or you just want something refreshing to drink I'm gonna tell you this right now if you're missing some of those knotty foods raspberries are gonna get you through it because a flavor that I just tasted in here whoo that's why it's one of my favorite fruits right now I don't think I'll be changing my style for a while cuz forever it was great for you remember all right so let me go ahead and move all my things to the side clean up all right so it's gonna be up to you you can keep it with the pope but if you guys don't like the pope and you just want a smooth drink for example for for my older son I have to strain them because he'll he's more likely to just drink like that cuz I'm not messing with textures for him so that's why you guys see me straining a lot of my juices and also it's great to strain your juice because it penetrates into your cells a lot faster because it's not digesting any of the fibers but if you want those fibers and you want your body to work extra hard and burn extra calories keep the pulp in one of the reasons I love this drink is because you really don't need sugar if especially if you using the frozen raspberries oh my goodness oh my oh my goodness so I'll be straight in here for just a little bit and I love the foam that comes through it's just so pretty it's definitely a very feminine drink it really is I love it you guys can keep it sexy for your ladies okay you make one of these for your ladies with a nice little foot massage and a back massage baby if you're watching or laughs oh my goodness it's so beautiful it smells really nice doesn't it guys right oh my goodness if you want to treat yourself this is definitely a treat yourself moment and find the Myers lemons if you can't find my a regular grocery store try the natural groceries they usually have a lot of those unique ingredients that are difficult to find you know I used to work with this beautiful lady she was a shorter lady too but her skin she was like in her late 30s and I remember asking her how does your skin look so good cuz she didn't look like a day over 22 she looked really really young she said she had a lot of raspberries and blackberries and ever since then I've incorporated them in my diet yep all right so I'm gonna be here a minute straining everything that I can get and the good part is that when you blend most of your seeds are so heavy that they just filter down to the bottom what's your favorite fruit pump right now of all time first of all time oh my gosh that changed by when I was a kid was peaches watermelon black cherries are in season yeah that's what I knew it was I'm like why don't you change it you know all I'll need an entire pearls and bag of black cherries from my own right now when I go Nate when I go to Costco trip I ask my sister do you need anything she's like do they have cherries yeah black cherries are my favorite banana with all the benefits it has you know yeah you know what I know that my mom would like with Ag she was like I need to get potassium pills I'm like mom eat a banana and she's like because as you start aging you see how much potassium your body is asking you for but if you're having if you make it a ritual to have at least one - Eska a week like you're helping your body out a whole lot guys and summertime for my house it's fruits and vegetables and lean proteins I mean we definitely have like our cheap time where we go and eat out when we eat out we kind of pick right now we're picking like a lot of Mediterranean food like that's been our thing right so you kind of want more of the freshness lighter things especially like where I'm at in the desert guys it gets way too hot oh look at how pretty that looks you see this phone I'm going on three weeks of a link eliminating sugar fish so the white cane sugar the processed sugar yeah yes I've just been like ingesting natural sugars yeah and I find that the waters that you're making or helping me with that not crave it as much yeah you feel full like cuz they're like oh I think if you guys start drinking these and you're like who I want sweets that's because you're bored go take a walk that's pretty much what it comes down to I have to do that with my kids do they're like oh I really know you don't you just ate let's go for a walk see and I tell the kids drink a glass of water and then if you're still homeless hungry for sugar then I'll make you something yes yeah because half the time when you're uh when you're hungry you're also very thirsty okay so let's go ahead I'm gonna ice these up real quick for us okay now the rest of that lemon or Meyers lemon that we use we're gonna squeeze it in okay well you say put me back and what I'm gonna do where's my ranks we're getting really close and personal because we're about to use some sugar okay so you're gonna use about half of your of your lemon or lime whatever you chose and you're gonna pour in some sugar okay I'm only gonna start off with about you can start off with one teaspoon or a tablespoon depends on what your sugars or you're trying to keep a mat and just mix well until you see your sugar start to melt into your lemon juice okay yeah I'm gonna tell you guys right now you really don't need this step but I know that I have some sugar lovers up there that don't even care you guys want that drink and I'm gonna give it to you like I told you guys I love you as a mother and whatever you asked me for I'm gonna give it to you but I'm also gonna give you like the healthier option you know I say like if you guys are asking for my opinion I would say start it without the sugar and you're gonna see why you don't need to add the sugar but if you let your kids taste it and they're not too crazy about it then you can go ahead and pour this right into them make sure they don't want and I use cane sugar I don't use like a super super processed sugar it's cane sugar it's called sucka it's a Mexican sugar and it's super super affordable my gosh I don't know if you guys can see how beautiful the inside is it's like it has a lot of creaminess which you wouldn't think you would get from a raspberry but it does so let's go ahead and pour in here oh thank you I know my like I woke up today I'm like girl you're glowing my skin is glowing okay and then I'm gonna do for this one I don't know if I have enough and if I don't have enough it should be good enough to add a little bit of water yeah let me get if you guys see a lot of the water spots on our dishes and things like that please excuse us it's we live in the desert we have hard water here and we do have a filtration system in the house but it doesn't help with that at all I mean you know what to do it like the hotels do when they clean the glasses they're they clean them with Windex so if you're in a hotel make sure that you rinse your cup out oh my gosh they do that yeah I travel a lot so I know a lot of friends in the housekeeping everyday rate I'm seriously this sick every time she's shocking me okay so which one should I pick first sugar one all right so now that we've identified that okay so now I'm gonna go ahead and add my view syrup everything is that the tacky side of me that I'm so proud of our channel guys [Applause] yeah that a good mix you give it a good taste too it's good both ways are super good definitely if you wanna like fill a big sugar rush in your mouth like restaurant style you're gonna have to add more sugar but this is enough for me to like pull my children kids if you're watching that's not what your parents are doing to you so let me go ahead and I'm gonna add the fresh raspberries or my fresh frozen raspberries to my mix and then I told you we will be doing a little bit more detox and healthier sets of water we're gonna sprinkle some chia seeds in here this is a ball little container you get at the grocery store has a little lid a little dispenser and this is the one that I chose to use when I went to Sedona and I put my creamer in and it fell out so if you guys are traveling with that don't do it I have them at least once a week I'm pretty good about it cuz there's so many things that I balance like for my tumeric like if you need something for your inflammation you have arthritis and things like that sprinkle a little tumeric in here you should be okay you want to get it in your system however you can and since cloudy has been enjoying these detox drinks since all have I we're gonna add a little bit of basil for freshness ready yeah it's nice and moisturized sunnygurl ah yes and the thing is that like with my kids I tell them let's taste it this way if you don't like it then you can have it the other way you know what I mean you're gonna taste what you gotta check with their taste buds are because I want to share something with you guys on how I know so much about certain foods after I had my older son you guys probably have hurt me a lot of times mention that I went on a raw food diet and just everything just fruits vegetables raw herbs nuts things like that and I read a book that really like captivated me it said in there I don't eat the breakfast lunch dinner and snacks I eat when I'm hungry so what happens is that if I'm eating when I'm hungry doesn't mean that my children are hungry at the same time that I am they get up at a different time and just things aren't the same for our body so everybody requires different kind of nutrients like my sister has I have to make sure that she's eating iron and I remind her about that all the time and for those reasons like you kind of want to listen to what your kids are craving like what they want to eat and if they're craving those things do a quick search and you're it's gonna tell you like if you're craving these things it's good you need more magnesium you need more iron and things like that so I really don't push them to like eat breakfast eat this I wait for them to tell me that they're hungry and they know this rule in our house we always have dinner together but breakfast lunch dinner is when they're hungry so I always like make something really quick for my family and I think that might help a lot of parents because when I was when the boys were younger - I would be like well he's not eating well he ate a whole bowl of water bill and he's not gonna be hungry throughout the day and he has enough nutrients you know what I mean we definitely take vitamins vitamin D I have a bunch of vitamins that I that I have on replay for my kids but definitely listen to the cues not just for your children but for yourself if you're craving certain things and you don't want to eat them just remember okay I want chocolate magnesium did you hear that you're craving chocolate look for cement medium and get good rest cuz that might be a huge huge thing so let's go ahead and give this a try you guys know I digress I'm just there's like traces of it but it isn't overpowered all you can taste more of them just a raspberry you can taste the raspberry the pineapple is very subtle because I don't like things that overpower raspberries mm-hmm I like it to have a subtle taste and one of the things you're gonna find that when you add pineapple in here you want to do that because it helps to dissolve the mucus in but if you guys are on a detox weight-loss or a health journey I would say keep the fibers keep all that pulp in there because it's gonna help you take out and release all the toxins in your system I mean those are very very important if you're gonna be consuming raspberries for that reason okay it's gonna help you not only with your diabetes with your cardiovascular system keeping your GI tract in check you know what I'm serious can help with even type-2 diabetes or why because one cup is 15 grams of sugar and we have eight grams of dietary fiber so if you subtract that you're up to seven grams of sugar did you know that how exciting consume carefully guys consume carefully if you have diabetes but it will help you and you know the sun's out we want these our Fresca's but here's the other one the antioxidants from the raspberries are gonna help your skin is gonna protect it from sun damage so if you're gonna be out in the Sun make sure you incorporate raspberries into your diet because it's gonna help you lick and shag hey jr.
