do you want Intel I9 gaming PC for 500 but it's not what you think this is a laptop I9 that's in a motherboard that you can buy now Express for under 200 is it a good deal should you build a gaming PC with it before we dive into this video let's hear a word from today's sponsor are you tired of your unactivated windows install on your gaming PC well today's video sponsor gbg mall has you covered GMG mall is an online Marketplace to gain access to really awesome discounted game keys and more specifically as we mentioned Windows 10 licenses it is incredibly easy to get your windows 10 or 11 activation key from gbg mobile just use code tb20 to get a special discount and then all you have to do is take that code put it into windows and boom you have an activated Windows copy we have been working with Gog mall for several years now and we love the reliability of all the products they have to offer so be sure to check the link in the description down below use code tv20 to save on your next purchase of a Windows key or other product from gbg mall so if you guys didn't know you can get all different kinds of motherboard CPU combos where there's soldered in that means the CPU is bound to this board it cannot really be removed unless you're a mad scientist and you know how to do some serious soldering but yeah you can just buy the rest of the PC parts from any old seller and the best part is it's just a laptop CPU so it should actually run fairly cool as well so yeah what we're going to go ahead and do is open this thing up and show you guys the motherboard and CPU combo which you can buy with ram and storage as well on AliExpress but the prices aren't that great so you're right off just buying the CPU and motherboard but then after we do that we'll talk about the rest of the parts and how we're going to make an awesome gaming PC with it all right guys this is everything you need right here this is the I guess airing your everything Micro ATX gaming motherboard and yeah there's some pretty funny stuff in the back here if you want to pause the video here and like read some of this it's pretty hilarious like such as anti-thunder electricity but anyways this is a really small motherboard where they basically took a laptop I9 11gen at that 11900h 8 core 16 thread Max boost to 4.9 gigahertz so it sounds pretty good on paper but keep in mind it is a laptop CPU at the end of the day so it could be good it could be horrible don't forget the CMOS battery guys you're gonna need one of those but it does come with two Ram slots on the board our I9 is hiding underneath this big heat sink which you're basically adapted it because obviously in a laptop you're gonna have like some copper pipes coming from it but this should be able to just take I assume just like a standard 10th 11 gen cooler but I guess we'll find out about that yeah the mounting is standard so I looked it up and they say it can support pretty much the wide normal range of Intel mounting hardware so so yeah just a battery that's all you're really gonna need we do have some nvme slots for Wi-Fi and just normal m.2 and vme back everything else looks pretty standard here's your input output if you're worried about that because you are bound to this board so make sure that you're happy with it before you buy it and the cool this CPU which I guess the stock cooler probably wouldn't cut it although it is made for a laptop so it's a 45 watt Max TDP so it's probably fine pretty low ID cooling sc214 XT argb these things are like under 20 usually in their airgb so pretty sick now for Ram we have 16 gigs of silica empowered gaming RAM and this stuff is about as cheap as it gets if you get the non-rgb version you're looking at well under 40 bucks most the time dual channel 32 megahertz definitely more than enough for this laptop desktop now for storage we just have the good old team group nvme SSD it's the mp33512 gig it's gen 3. you probably don't want to go Gen 4 with this because I doubt it even supports especially not the motherboard so definitely just get a normal gen 3 to really save some bucks on this build now this right here is a grabs card from AliExpress as well this is the soyo RX 5700 non-xt which we've used in a benchmark video we've used it in the p520 workstation systems it's a good graphics card you can get for about 100 bucks if you want to buy something here off of Amazon locally in the US you could get like an RX 6600 it'll perform better and cost a little bit more money but we had this thing on hand and of course since we use an Alex race motherboard we might as well use an AliExpress GPU now for the power supply we have the gigamax 600 watt from Zalman it's a 600 watt 80 plus bronze power supply nothing too special but it'll get the job done realistically I don't think this isn't going to pull more than like 220 230 Watts because this GPU is pretty power efficient and this CPU is only a 45 watt CPU so really don't need 600 watts but with power supplies being really expensive right now this was our best budget option it was very unintentional but we're using a zollman case with the Zalman power supply so shout out to Solomon this is the M3 plus which is a Micro ATX case that has some RGB fans pre-install but if you look at the reviews they're static RGB they're not true RGB so I'm going to update your listing with that it's static RGB but it has enough airflow for this build which again we're not really going to need a ton of airflow because it's going to be pretty power efficient and not produce a ton of heat but it's going to work well as tempered glass and I think this case was like 59 so that's pretty solid for a Micro ATX case I'm very excited to see how this belt looks this is a very tiny board which is very very tiny for Micro ATX so it's probably still going to look tiny in a Micro ATX case but we're going to put that in there see how it performs and decide whether or not you should spend your hard-earned money on AliExpress for this combo foreign guys we're playing Halo infinite we're actually running High settings so my fovs kind of low that's some low here we go high fov high settings 1080p playing some ranked King of the Hill it's a little chunky a little chunky a little bit of Chunk action but terrible not awful whoopsies the CPU is running a bit warmer than I thought maybe has to do with that adapter that they have on the CPU that allows you to actually use a normal like Tower cooler AIO or whatever but it's still fine it's well within operating temperature it's only pulling 28 Watts total Matt talking just really motivated really get them going killing spree oh my God I can't be controlled I can't be I can't be controlled huh ler oh yeah oh yeah they are for sure this guy can't kill me okay one one can't get me bro oh my gosh there's two of them eat grenades loser perfect timing what is happening yes you did foreign well may have not got a victory but the PC is performing pretty well so far surprisingly well for 500 bucks let's switch over to some fortnite all right guys we're in fortnite I just got thrown into the end of the map with all the Bots for some reason but we are on the high quality preset TSR Los uh low anti-aliasing uh and we're all like high across the board so it's a mixture of uh interesting settings but for the most part we're getting 100 plus FPS experience right now and I'm wondering if I'm ever going to run into each other now it's going to wait it's gonna take a while probably yeah with fortnite we're definitely playing a game that is more CPU dependent so seeing this I9 perform the way that it's doing pretty solid High refresh rate experience we've had some PCS around this price point that have a pretty stuttery fortnite experience with this pretty nice I don't know if the new season update has anything to do with performance as well too because there is a new season of our testing this is the first time we've tested it so it could just be better performance across the board in fortnite it's scary this game is dang there he is God oh they don't have a gun this is depth that's you I did it McAllister I gotta kill everyone celebrate I made it back to the ball Lobby oh oh this is not the guy you wanted to mess with that wasn't the guy Mr drack he was like why did you do that man that was that was just disrespectful now he's gonna take my Cannon and actually use it properly but fortnite impressively good performance actually um the settings again were really solid High settings TSR low speed we're using some upscaling but it ran really well 100 plus FPS so I'm gonna go ahead and do is run some other AAA titles built in benchmarks and see what the limit is of this PC and then just kind of talk about the value proposition because at 190 on AliExpress yes there is some inherent risk when buying from AliExpress it's still a pretty good option all right guys we just got done benchmarking this gaming PC and overall we definitely give it a thumbs up I mean a little over 500 and we were playing games like Halo infinite and fortnite and we really could play pretty much anything we want I think maxed out yeah overall that combo with the laptop CPU seems like a really good deal the only concerns I do have is it is a very like cheap basic motherboard so long term who knows how well it's gonna hold up but if you're someone who likes to build really cheap PCS and is willing to do take a little bit of a gamble check the link in the description down below will be in affiliate link will help us
