alright guys and gals so I decided I'm gonna do a new project and there's many videos out there how do you make your own Forge I actually watched a video on a guy doing a force out of a propane tank it's pretty formative however I'm gonna do one as well on how I decided to make mine so here's some tools you're gonna need definitely make sure that you have it completely purged even when it's empty there's still going to be propane tank on our propane inside of the tank you go to drilling in that or you go to cutting it you're gonna have a nice I don't know how big explosion would be but it wouldn't be very pleasurable I can promise you that so I've actually already purged mine I'm gonna show you how I purged it they're gonna take this this nozzle here off if you look down inside where the fitting is here where you would hook up your fitting for your barbecue or whatever cookware you got there's a little small circle in there get this o-ring here you have this circle inside the o-ring hers it just gonna push in on it you're gonna open this up all the way and then you're gonna push that ring in all the way that's what you've heard you and then once you get it all purged you'll be able to safely remove this and how I removed mine is all I did was I used a pretty big adjustable crescent wrench started on this side got it tore it was about here I used ball peen hammer and just kept tapping it tapping and tapping tapping it and then yeah kept loosen it off and finally came out if you've ever seen what one looks like well this is what the innards of it looks like soon as you take it off it's still gonna smell like propane that's because they're still gonna be a little bit of propane in there so I don't know if this is necessary or not but what I decided to do fill this thing up completely before that there will be no propane so that's all I'm gonna do that's the purging portion is only the first part of the video that Spartans going to be cutting us off or cutting the top part off for a lift and then also cutting the aluminum hand size a little bit bigger with pull at the top of the water and running down that's for me to slip my hands in there while I'm hot without having to give it up stay tuned reshoot the water all right so I got a couple of the job four holes with my drill bit the drill bit cut through it like butter expected it to be a little more challenging and it was but it was fairly simple I made these holes in all probably about one minute in there for the sawzall metal cutting blade and I'm hoping I'm gonna be able to follow this line all the way around without it being too ugly but I'll be able to file it down if it gets you know out of whack a bit all right so I got my hole in there sawzall good work out as good as I wanted to only because kind of see here where I started my pilot holes and I started cutting with the sawzall started working but then it wanted to keep going straight I can get in the turn so just kind of look so you guys can probably tell what I did drilled a bunch of pilot holes then I basically took this pretty decent-sized flathead and broke the bridge in between this one and then it fell right in that took me probably about five minutes so one alternate all front of if you had sawzall fails you but I broke the blade trying to do it there it is down there but yeah it provides right so this isn't gonna be one of those $400 kilns it's just gonna be something I made calm is gonna serve one purpose of melting kings but I made my hole big enough to drop okay right in so I put this thing well I got it cutting out wasn't too hard only regret I have it's wearing football doing it as a little short skits cutting it they were not do the inside I think I'm gonna do it just like everyone else does so much real whole inside angle find a pipe that I'm gonna run through so when I do all the cement mix it won't you know she's a lot of concrete just be both hole ready for the pipe to be ran through and that'll be it but when I would just for front refractory cement right here will stands up to 2,200 degrees there's been expensive is about 20 bucks whatever it is but that I'm gonna do is anything mix half-and-half would all end up doing is I'm gonna put some rocks there at the bottom put some of the quick-setting cement in there with the sand mixture and I'll put a layer of this practice cement and then I'm gonna use one of these comes by that tub just build up around it get to the top figure I'm gonna do the tap to hold in cement I've seen some guys that will did some bars in I think what I'm gonna end up doing is just probably put a bolt in here every so often it goes all around run a wire and that'll be it for me the lid the top alright so far here's where we're at I've gone ahead and done some sort of an angle as you can see there I want to cyclone I'm here inside the actual and the furnace itself it's gonna sit just like that the attachment here I'm up to do some research and figure out how they do the propane attachments the first couple burns are going to be charcoal burns though so I can kind of get used to how the whole thing goes works and over here I don't have a welding machine at all nor do I know how to weld but I do know it's important for the lid portion that you have some sort of something like this going on to keep the cement follow I do is I got rebar tie rods here I'm going to attach them here that they just kind of go just wire that basically goes through each one of these by two on each and then we're all end up doing is I'll tape the hole at the bottom and start pouring my cement my paw injury and all that stuff so the idea here is to be wherever the heat is going to be able to have percent of the progress and that there that bucket in size in sand quikrete bottom that way does it upon the refractor cement was about 20 bucks left Ellen and I was going to be gonna be sitting here like this and as it kind of sets I'm gonna be pulling this out yeah that's more right right now all right so I got the first portion of the brain a bigger bucket here because my plan is because I don't have much of a factory seen that over there so I'm gonna do this bucket and then I'm gonna go with a smaller bucket that fits inside this one and I'm gonna fill the refractory cement upper on this smarter bucket so but good you know that scene that's rated at like 2200 degrees inside and kill them will have a good scheme hoping that's gonna work yeah right now he wrote some holes the bottom of this bucket to help you someone there that's the buffers and waters but it appeared for the slide on that up we're still gonna have to chisel soon to submit there to get it to go away not entirely big deal alright so here we go it's fired up in the first time it's been running for quite a bit they're all melted up a couple days since I finished it you guys want I'll do a quick video of how i made this port here or debris so far the whole setup was maybe 60 bucks tops that's including the expense of what does they call this stuff right here this was a good majority of the cops right there the Frank Rees Emmitt but she's rolling we're gonna do a four here in a second most of you guys how I made this and this torch here essentially all it is is a 16 inch one inch fire pipe to a 1/2 inch and a quarter Bell coupler and that is a 4 inch just another point or 4 inches in length by one on one corner with - ain't control out there as you see gonna be on the inside but have an elbow basically that control things with an elbow that's where the gas is bedroom and in the why not going to do a video of pouring it out here do you have it with me anymore delimit about - don't - holding the phone one more in the same time here we go let's lose our first pour you gotta make sure that you don't touch it obviously if it's insanely hot [Music] pretty terrible bore but my first and that's how it's done
