Earth Modeler Add-on for Blender Update - 3D Google Maps inside Blender

foreign Ed our Earth modeler add-on for blender we've received thousands of messages and comments for more information about the add-ons development we're currently Alpha Testing the software and thought we'd share some of the resulting animations in this animation of New York City we're demonstrating the path capabilities along with the reflection modifications to many of the buildings in the Manhattan skyline this particular scene is using the EV Red Ring Engine with screen space reflections Cycles rendering will provide Ray Trace Reflections for even better reflection accuracy at the cost of rendering times one of the additional features that is now incorporated into the add-on is the ability to enhance the Fidelity of the rendered Maps data to better highlight areas that may fall outside of the detailed focal point of the animation this enhancement will allow for artistic control over the Fidelity of the maps imagery as seen through the camera Additionally the Fidelity information is stored with the project so there are no surprises when it comes to the final animation one of the key principles in developing this add-on is to ensure that all the tools are available to allow the user to conform to the Google Maps terms of service with proper copyright attribution the Google's API that provides the imagery is currently in its experimental stage and we are confident that proper implementation will benefit the sizable blender community I've received many questions about incorporating the add-on to Aid in the development of games using Unity or unreal platforms currently available in their respective marketplaces the CCM with 3D tiles is available for download and optimized for the streaming gaming platforms while not limited to what you see here this add-on is originally designed to enhance the great imagery Source by Google Maps for film and video production we've been compiling a list of individuals for expanded beta testing which is expected to commence in the coming weeks I feel you've been overlooked for the testing program please feel free to reach out in the comments or contact us via Instagram or the email address found on our about page in the meantime stick around for the next four minutes to see what can be achieved with the Earth modeler add-on [Music] foreign [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] foreign thank you [Music] foreign [Music]
