EA Sports FC 24 Xbox Series S vs. Series X vs. PS5 | Technical Review & FPS Test

the yearly FIFA game is now called EA Sports FC 24 about 80 of the game or maybe even 90 is similar to FIFA 23 but there are some updates especially on the newer consoles Xbox series that's the series X and PS5 the presentation the player models the graphic animations have been tweaked I would actually say they're improved even the gameplay is slightly improved I mean it does feel familiar but there are some minor tweaks to make it more of a simulation the AI in it is still pretty bad making the offline play really Bland best way to enjoy this game is online you're not going to see all the minor graphic and presentation updates if you have the older PS4 or Xbox One the Nintendo switch version is something I haven't played yet but I'm just hoping that one is not another Legacy Edition now between the three current gen consoles there are some minor differences so let's compare EA Sports fc2 24 on Xbox series s versus series X versus PS5 the game is about 45 gigabytes on the series snx and 49 gigabytes on PS5 loading times are fairly fast in past FIFA games and this one's similar going from dashboard all the way into kickoff takes only 25 seconds on the series snx PlayStation 5 is faster with 24 seconds to do the same thing Xbox store does have quick resume that only takes 12 seconds to get back in the game PS5 doesn't have quick resume and no activity cards aren't the same thing not even close I still think quick resume is a underrated and unappreciated feature you can be driving a Porsche in the crew motor Fest and scoring a goal in FIFA in 12 seconds pretty amazing now let's talk about the graphics the player models are slightly improved from FIFA 23 just look at this trend Alexander Arnold here the new fc24 renders do look a lot more photorealistic with fc24 there's a small difference between the three consoles I mean when things are in motion you're not really going to know much of a difference even the weaker Series S looks almost identical if you do take a closer look though and by close I mean close zoomed in four times here you can see the lower resolution on the series s the series s has all the cutscenes animations and replays at 1440p and 30 FPS while the series X and PS5 are getting close to 4K resolution and 30 FPS as well the player models do have lower detail on the series S I actually think the series X looks the best when it comes to these models but a lot of it has to do with the lightings in these captures both the series X and PS5 look more photorealistic than the less powerful Series S the difference is really noticeable if I zoom in here on Neymar's mouth just look at the higher amount of detail in the beard and the lips so yeah Graphics in these animations replays cutscenes are better on the series X and Playstation 5. I don't think anyone spends much time in replays and cutscenes though they're usually just skipped what's really important is the gameplay the series s does Run the game at 60fps with 1080p resolution in that case the series X and PlayStation 5 also Target 60 FPS but with a higher 1440p resolution and you can sort of see the clear difference here when I zoomed in let's not talk about the performance as I said the cutscenes are 30 FPS the replays are 30 FPS and even the corner kicks and free kicks are also 30 FPS the core gameplay though is 60 FPS and the core gameplay is pretty solid when it comes to the 60 it stays that bad for most of the time I would say pretty much all the time time I didn't notice any issues or slowdowns on either of the three consoles if you have a good online connection then it's smooth even when you're playing online matches I guess the only complaint is that jumps between 30 and 60 when the game goes from gameplay to cut scenes and of course the slowdowns the same way when you switch between gameplay and free kicks or Corner kicks the current gen consoles just aren't capable to give us those realistic animations at 60fps we'll have to wait for PlayStation 6 for that for the rest of the video I have some more gameplay of EA Sports FC 24 on Xbox series S series X and Playstation 5.
