Oh yeah!
I never really thought about what their comms would sound like, its way more...casual than I expected
I miss working on the flight deck. It truly is one of the best things I have ever done in my life.
Having passed by a carrier in a commuter ferry boat, I know they're absolutely gigantic, but in the context of an aircraft launch and counting 7 planes from there to the edge, that deck suddenly feels really short.
The rush of the launch must be unbeatable
I got launched in a C-2 once, it was great.
Liberty Bells VAW115 is best squadron - fight me!
Is there a reason why the radio sounds so bad (to my ears) with our current level of communication technology?
I swear I heard him say taters and then a whole lot of squelch and static.
Cat shots and low levels made the job worthwhile.
