Dying My Hair Emerald Green

oh oh i'm up all right i can feel myself this up oh god okay guys maybe this isn't the best idea hi everyone my name is anya thanks for stopping by my youtube channel this is my very first video and i figured why not start it off with a hair dyeing hopefully not epic fail video so i was going to do a strands house ahead of time to show you guys to see if i needed to bleach my hair more but i've been anxious and been wanting to do this for the past week and the hair dye just came in today and i can't wait any longer so we're just going to go for it even though right now you guys can see i do have like a brownish red root and then my ends are kind of an ashier but also slightly bronzy brassy up here blondes i think the color should take but of course we'll see when we try i will go ahead and show you what products i'm going to be doing next i'm going to be mixing a couple do a different brand for my roots and then a different one on my ends as well so stay tuned okay so for the products i'm going to be using today for my roots i'm going to be using schwarzkopf gora dark emerald blonde which is e 623 or dark blonde emerald i'm gonna mix that in with this two percent seven volume developer just because i want a deposit color and not so much lift my roots i don't really want white roots then i'm gonna go ahead and mix these arctic fox dyes as well we have aquamarine phantom green and blue jean baby i'm likely gonna mix blue jean baby with a small amount of dye that'll go directly after my root color and then on the ends it'll just be these two mixed together i mean i'll show you my mixes in a moment all right so for the roots i have my scale here i just have it in grams it really doesn't matter what unit you use it at because you just want to make sure you're using equal parts this to developer so i'm just gonna go ahead and empty out the entire thing and i realize now i probably should have already put on my gloves but i definitely did not do that so we're just going to go with it and try real hard to get this honest just yet i'm just going to tar the weight there and we're going to pour in all right we have eagle parts there and then we'll just whisk that up now all right next we're going to do the main color for my head so this is what's going to go on the ends of my hair okay for our last color we're going to be using the phantom green if it would come out so i'm just sectioning off my hair not in any particular order to be honest and not being too crazy like practical about it but like i said i'm just eager to get this done so this is gonna be sloppy all right everybody i have my glams on and we're gonna go ahead and start off with the roots color mind you i'm gonna be having a blind spot in regards to my mirrors here but i want you all to see what i'm doing so i might not do perfect so you guys can criticize me down in the comments but honestly i feel like i'll feel if i'm doing right or not but we'll see so let's get to it we got some slippage here i can't tell if it's doing anything y'all or if i'm getting like high enough also just now realizing that i forgot to put like lotion so i don't stain everything so we're gonna go ahead and do that real quick so i'm just going to go ahead and do here because i don't have blue yet on my hands this hopefully will protect me or it won't i don't really know hairs in my face so people i think they sell products that are actually for this purpose but i feel like i've seen people use lotion before and claimed that it would so i'm gonna try it out hopefully i don't get everything blue okay i guess i mess y'all we're getting messy up in here okay i think i'm fine we're fine like i'm pulling out way big sections and i'm missing everything and it's probably true but i guess we'll find out later i'm just gonna like really lather it up you know oh oh i'm up all right i can feel myself this up oh god okay guys maybe this isn't the best idea i'm freaking out oh it's fine we're cool everything's fine i just think that i let my hair get too tangled and now i'm not partying it and i feel like i'm getting the dye and all the wrong places so sorry guys you guys are not gonna be able to see me do my back but honest i think you guys seen enough videos of other people doing it and i really gotta like focus on this and i really can't do it while trying to show you guys so honestly you guys are just gonna have to watch this in i'm gonna speed through it [Music] also mind you guys i have a lot of hair i know it doesn't look like it in the beginning video because i've like thinned it out from years of dyeing my hair but i have a lot of hair and anytime i go to a salon they always underestimate how much dye they're gonna need for my hair which is why i really prepared a lot today just in case because i know that my hair needs a lot guys i'm so nervous right now i know i'm like probably knowing you guys by saying it but i can't see in the back of this thing and i'm like freaking out i've never done a hair color this right before mind you what's freaking out is like that i can't see my placement and i'm sure there's like probably youtubers who can come at me and actually hope you do and like let me know a better method for trying to like cover all your roots especially in the back of your hand i would love to know also look at this like crown thing i got going on i'm gonna lather these bottom roots pretty well i don't give a i'll be like oh my god why are you getting a shirt and be like listen guys there's a reason why i wore this it's because i don't really care about it so we're just gonna go with it it's okay okay and i know that like people have oh my god it's blue do you see that what the hell guys what am i doing to my hair oh my god get on my little baby hairs y'all i'm so confused guys i don't know if i'm doing this right i feel like i'm definitely not [Music] guys i look like a hot mess right now god i hope this is worth it i feel like we're good here [Music] all right guys i think my roots are pretty much done next i'm gonna go in with this color and i feel like at this point we're gonna do it with the hand oh this smells good though this arctic fox smells so good guys and now we're gonna go in with this color precise with this so i just wanted to quickly pop in here to let you all know that i had no idea what i was doing at this point i just was impatient i want to use the brush so i was like okay i'm just going to put the dye on my hand put in my hair and dump it so can we talk about that i sure hope this stuff washes out yeah sorry about not explaining what i'm doing here but honestly i had no idea i was doing so i didn't want to waste your time or mine so all right guys so i'm going to let this sit on my head for about 30 to 45 minutes and then i'm gonna go wash off because it looks like i freaking murdered a smurf see you guys soon alright everybody so i have washed out my hair my makeup looks crazy i am so i'm gonna blow-dry and i'm gonna show you guys what it looks like by the way this is super messy like but it takes a long time to rinse out is like the one thing i will say it took a while all right guys so this is the final product i'm pretty happy with it considering it's my first time dying with arctic fox or anything this bright there are some spots i don't know if you can see i mean you probably can where the brown is still coming through as like a grayish brown almost grayish blondish brown so it's not perfect and i kind of expected that since i didn't bleach it to be a blank palette but overall pretty happy it's so different from anything i've ever had and tomorrow i'm gonna go ahead and i'll show you guys what it looks like in the sunlight see you guys
