one of the most common questions we get a tfl truck is which heavy duty truck should I buy yeah you guys want to know should I get a 2500 should I get a 3500 or what the hell is that over there Andre that's a 6500 one of the biggest trucks we've done on tfl although not the biggest truck but that thing is rad we saw it here sitting at the lot so while we're doing this buyer guide we figured we'd had to throw that one in the mix yeah and also another question we get is you guys never review basic trucks yeah so we got a one of the most affordable heavy duties from Chevrolet in this video so how about this we drive the uh we show you and drive the 2500 then we show you and drive this nice premium duy and then this yeah and then we just play around with the big one cuz it looks awesome yes look just just stand next to it everything is super sized on this truck and we're going to show you all the massive components on this one let's start with a 2500 in this video you can have any truck as long as it's white right yeah why are work trucks always white what's what's the deal with that I think they're mostly white because you can put your decals on it right you can personalize them later I guess so but I I picked this one uh by the way this video would not be possible without our friends at Johnson autoplaza yeah they have like feels like 10,000 trucks here so if you need any kind of truck or Jeep or they sell all kinds of stuff here this is the place to come yes uh I picked this one from the lot because it's one of the most affordable 4x4 heavy duties right so it's a two-door cab regular C cab but it's got a large bed it has a starting price well we'll show you in a second with a few options of under 60,000 or actually 53,000 to begin with right yeah this is uh this is where it all starts right here and like you said at the beginning of the video you guys asked for basic trucks this is as close to basic as you're usually going to find on a dealer lot if you want the cheapest truck that Chevy makes you're probably going to have to order it these are uh pretty common to find on a dealership lot like this cuz it has some upfits like this toolbox yeah and the steps yeah exactly there's some things on here like the bedliner the steps the toolbox that make this a a good working man's truck and really capable at a lot of different things well how about this let's show the price and let's pop the hood really quick before we drive it I'll go pop the hood while you're doing that so this has a 1995 destination chart this is a 2024 model uh work truck it's the WT Summit white is the color jet black interior and this is really important it's got a 10-speed Allison brand transmission and the 2024 model year is the first model year for this new Allison and that MSRP right there before upfits is 53,1 15 yeah I think that 10p speed is pretty big news Andre we we've done a lot of testing with that 10 speed and it's been pretty dead reliable really nice and smooth and it's good to see it on a more basic and also it replaces the old six-speed yep uh which was a little bit sluggish in some instances right why is there so much space down here there's a lot of room that's cuz this is a gas engine in a truck that's designed to fit a diesel engine so there's a lot of leftover space here and look how much I mean the engine stops here there's like a foot of space before the radiator almost yeah lots of cooling I guess yeah so it's dual batteries this is a nice option to see yeah um this has a snowplow package yeah so what bigger alternator dual batteries good to run accessories off of so if you are running a plow that's great but um there's tons of different bed accessories you could put in the back of this and run off that and this is for 41 horsepower 464 lb feet of torque and once again it's hooked up to analis in 10 speed so there's a lot of gear options so actually I mean we need to take it on a spin and we'll show you the interior uh but let's show the payload too yeah 3200 lb just over it yep and this is um 2500 3/4 tons so it's gross vehicle weight rating is 10,000 which means if you take 10,000 minus this so this truck weighs what 6,800 lb as you see it here and then a little bit more because of the toolbox um and this will tow anywhere well this is not a crew cab so I wouldn't recommend it for like heavy heavy towing but it's rated between like 18,000 and like 22,000 lbs of Towing is that just the wheelbase you wouldn't recommend it yeah because you kind of want a stable chassis and we'll talk about that later right yeah but look at this bed yeah I've always thought the Chevy beds at least in the current generation of trucks are by far the most usable this so you've got a big 8ft bed here the biggest option got the uh what do they call this tailgate on it multilex multilex tailgate with the step in it you've got the little handle here if you need some assistance getting up into the bed and I do sometimes and my favorite part of the the Chevy beds are just the width and the number of tie downs you have so three tie downs at Each corner right and spots to add more too under the bed liner yeah there's an outlet for 400 uh Watt and you talk about yeah some of these holes have been bedlined but you can pop them out still and you can add additional tie downs throughout um this truck oh and by the way it doesn't have a fifth wheel or gooseneck package maybe I would have added one if I got a truck like this and then you would have another I think this is a space where you could pop it out and put trailer wiring inside the bed exactly but again like you said if you're towing big fifth wheels all the time you're probably going want a longer wheelbase anyway so this is a great truck to throw stuff in now we're going to show you the inside of the 2500 and what's really funny that you need to take notice of here is we've got three trucks they're all 202 24s and all three of these trucks have a different generation of Chevy interior on the inside so here's the first pick yeah this is the work truck and it does have a bench which I like because and you can put three people here I mean three in a pinch right I mean you can have a person here a person here we have three seat belts but if you look at the dashboard like you're saying Alex this is kind of like 2022 2023 yeah type of interior um that they still kept for this generation of work truck inter so the first year this body style was what 2020 or somewhere about there and uh they all had this interior but then they started to upgrade them you'll see that over in the 3500 but still if you buy the basic versions of the truck you're going to get this interior so you have a fancy key yeah new newer style key newer style key does some funny uh funky tailgate stuff yeah you can power open the tailgate and so that's kind of neat and dual dual glove boxes here integrated brake controller what kind of power we have on the dash yeah so oh and we got to show can I borrow the camera we have five auxiliary whiches dude five of them yeah that's uh pretty cool so again the work truck like this you might have Amber lights or all kinds of equipment that you can easily you can even throw a winch on this thing if you wanted to but it needs bigger tires probably yeah I think so it probably needs bigger tires under tired wo your your your camera is bouncing but it's good woo wow that's chaotic well this is still a war truck suspension yeah you can tell going through that field there this is independent front suspension right so Ford and RAM do solid axles in the front you're getting it Andre that V8 yeah um but it's supposed to be a little bit more comfortable yeah so this could be like your daily driver even though we did hop over that curb yeah I mean we're definitely getting bounced around a good bit but I I own a heavy duty truck and I drive it as a daily car more than I do a truck so I'm kind of used to it I would not be uh I wouldn't be bummed about living with something like this every day yeah and also of course this is all stock right we talked about the tires are a little smallish but allterrain yep right so they thought about a lot of these use cases right like if you need to go into a field or maybe camping right this type of truck would be really good for that yeah having four-wheel drive is a huge bonus and it doesn't feel like a huge truck in here like it's still maneuverable enough that you could you know you could if you needed to get it into a a small parking spot it's not going to be the end of the world exactly or drive-thru to get any anything to eat so you can put a camper in the back of this truck you could um you know carry materials construction stuff or thrw a trailer yeah and this is the only one of these three trucks that you don't need to worry about defs so just fill it up at the gas station go down the road you're good to go yeah um easier maintenance on a gaster than a diesel so a lot to be said about this truck here all right so let's me accelerate and then we can move on to the bigger truck still all right let me see two wheel drive I take it two wheel drive and that's 60 so you know it's not going to win a lot of drag races no we never said heavy duty trucks were fast yes all right that was a good run how about we look at the look at the bigger truck yeah let's jump up in size jump up in class and go take a look at that 3500 [Music] duy there it is High Country this is Colorado did they make this truck just for us it sounds like it this is uh High Country is the highest in their level right yeah it's the fanciest it's if this was a GMC this would be a Denali version of the GMC but this is the most fancy Chevrolet Silverado yeah so the truck's still white but a little more of a premium white and we've got some nice nicer looking Chrome bits around the truck but different configuration too yeah and different front ends like it's the same year right but look at the front ends there's a huge difference yeah so you've got these LED bulbs here the projectors uh much more basic headlights here on this side and then just more premium looking materials also and another difference this hood scoop actually is functional here right and we'll pop the hood in a second and um over here it's blocked yeah and that's just a Duramax verse 66 gaser yeah I wish they had different displacement cuz when you say I have a truck with a 66 L you're like which one yeah you got to be specific is it the Duramax or is it the gaser this one's the Duramax and definitely you could tell the difference in white color as well um so let's show um profile of this truck because this is a whole different thing this is as big as they get right yeah basically in the 3500 lineup this is basically as big as you get because Chevrolet doesn't make a 4500 Silverado on this chassis or a 5500 either yeah this is as big as it gets yeah so we're at the top of the line in terms of 3500 we're also biggest in size in terms of crew cab 8ft bed and a dues so it's got everything and the nicest trim yeah exactly on top of the line we moved up in price we'll show that in a second um but this is the type of truck like if you're hauling a big fifth wheel or good neck and this does have that package let's show that really quick this is the truck hands down I would recommend oh yeah if you're if you're towing a big fifth wheel camper with your family all summer long this truck's going to keep you comfortable going down the highway cross country and it's going to keep the trailer comfortable too as you're going down yeah because trailers can cost a lot what if you're carrying horses or Jeeps on your trailers right you want everything to be safe and sound um that's why this truck is expensive and it's probably Towing something more expensive than the truck right yeah most of the time that's true um how much payload let's take a look and I also want to show you the interior while we're in here cuz that's where you really notice some of the pricing differences but quite the jump in payload 5,215 lb that's really impressive and that's also impressive because you have all the options here too yeah so normally or always when you add you know all the cameras and leather and heated and cooled seats that's all weight you're putting into the truck that reduces the payload but even with all the features sunroof everything this truck has we're still above 5,000 lb and the towing rating is can be over 30,000 MH and actually here's a little preview this truck is rated to tow more than this big boy yeah which I was shocked when you told me that yeah so it's a whole different Dynamic can you pop the hood yeah totally um cuz we got to look at this wonderful Duramax so they updated this engine a few years ago and they also introduced that um 10 speed as well a few years ago yep so everything's a little more tightly packed into this one compared to the 2500 we just looked at cuz of course you've got the big Diesel with much more torque what are our power numbers looking like here yeah so this is 4 75 horsepower and 975 pound Fe of torque or actually 470 horsepower um but it's not 500 you know if you bought an F35 Ford that's currently the leader at 500 HSE that's the turbocharger right so the turbo is laying in in the V basically and this little fence this kind of this mechanism is the new controller so that's how they were able to increase the horsepower and the torque numbers recently and made it a little bit more efficient a little bit more refined okay very cool also dual batteries yeah you see the battery here and the battery on the other side all right let's start this up and right away you'll see where the extra money is going yeah big screens stay in them among by the way these are brand new trucks right M um so people complained so when the 2020s came out right people said well this is great but Ram has a slightly nicer interior or some other trucks have nicer interiors and this is this is their answer basically yeah they really stepped it up with this interior so much bigger horizontal screen that's a lot more colorful uh some more like piano black trim nicer wood finishes um you know more leather WRA surfaces so just about everywhere they they made it nicer spot to sit I like they still kept this I mean this is kind of traditional gear lever and I think it works great that's a must in a heavy duty truck yeah um heads up display you can kind of see it hold on let me move the camera you can kind of see it over here in front of me so that's a nice touch rear camera mirror yeah nice touch and digital cluster too digital cluster modes different modes we have heated steering wheel we have right now our ventilated seats are on um because you know why not this also has something really cool let me back the seat up um it has four-wheel drive Auto oh which actually no other heavy duty truck offers Ford doesn't offer this the auto is really nice to have especially driving around here in the mountains and stuff you just kind of hit it forget about it and it'll take care of four-wheel drive when you need it yeah so big fan of that also being in the diesel now exhaust brake exhaust brake we can still control our tailgate brake control is in the right place I mean a lot of people are right-handed and I am so I appreciate that on the right yeah we have a full console here now so rather than a bench seat got some more USB ports phone charger so we did lose we did we did lose um that six seat basically exactly well in there it was a third SE thir seat yeah we we did lose that uh but the back seat look how humongous that is the really huge and a slider on this window the other one was a solid window so this is the sticker price on the High Country dual 91,4 15 bucks including destination charges a little discount of 500 bucks and every option it has actually this feels pretty good it does I think the wheel Bas the wheelbase is really helping this truck on the rough terrain yeah we're about to go over this curb that hooked us in the air last time in the 500 so let's see what it does and our camera truck is hopping yeah our camera is screaming for help right now not bad oh the rear end yeah it needs some weight on it yeah it does felt good in the front we've got this big heavy diesel engine but nothing in the back that's why we need to put 5,000 lb of stuff exactly yeah like we talked about specs right in the other truck the 2500 this doesn't win any wars on paper right so it's under 1,000 lb of torque but look at this I can catch up to our camera vehicle without even going Full Throttle yeah you get that sense of it just pulls and pulls and pulls and yeah it doesn't take much to get one of these trucks going especially when we're empty like we are now and we've done some ey gauntlets um and some drag racing so you can check out old tl.eat four tires I think so so yeah obviously good power for towing um good power for hauling just fun to drive too it's always fun to be behind the wheel of a diesel truck but being in here too is just super comfortable we've got a Bose sound system that sounds super super good um sunroof we've got big screens everywhere cameras yeah I've got my air conditioning seat on right now so just a really comfy spot to be if you're if more of you know if you're using this to work and more of your job is covering distance than it is like working out of the bed of the truck something like this could be really good yeah and also efficiency while Towing you know we talked about Towing in the other truck a little bit but nothing beats a diesel loaded up for efficiency you know you could get I don't know 12 MPG towing a heavy big trailer versus like 8 MPG in the gas truck right so but there's one slight negative here um the fuel tank size yep in the Dual is upwards of 36 gallons and it's kind of a standard thing GM does if you look at RAM and Ford they offer larger tanks yeah in their trucks that is not the negative I was thinking you were going to say which negative were you thinking I was thinking of the complexity and the dep and all the service you have to do on the emission system that obviously is going to add a a little bit of uh of complexity to something over like the 66 gas here we were just in yeah and you know a lot of this is a whole different video but a lot of hot shot drivers prefer comment and I think a lot of that has to do with a lot of truck stops understand cin right and they know some of those parts when you come when you roll up on a Duramax or a power stroke you know you may not get the same reception there so you're saying like a a cumins you could go to a Ram dealer or you could go to a truck stop service or I don't know Flying J or something and this you might be able to bring it to a truck stop but probably better luck at a dealer yeah you gotta you know you may have to go to a dealer for service and Ford and GM have lots of dealerships I mean it's not they're not going to be hard to find yeah all right let's do a little acceleration test we have a clear highway got to give our cameraman some space here in this truck there it is the turbo lights up I've got lots of power and I think I got along next to him really much quicker actually than in the other truck yeah and a lot of gear shifts too and they're quick and they're Snappy and you don't really feel them too much and I like they updated this truck for 24 we talked about the interior they also gave it new Wheels y you know these uh kind of chrome style 18in wheels I like yeah they look like a semi wheel supposed to it's really it's really pretty nice and of course it's not short on Tech we talked a lot of about features already but you know it's got driving modes it's got really good trailering apps cameras that we could access and look at um overall a good truck but once again Towing long distance is where this truck shines yeah you've got this the long wheel base for stability you've got the Dual rear wheels for stability um and yeah that's just that's what this truck's made for diesel efficiency Diesel's made to toe yep but you won't go through too many um um drive-throughs no no this has got the long bed it's hard to turn and uh yeah it's also Tri also wide we've tried it before it doesn't work as well in the drive no all right let's see the big boy I'm excited for this one let's jump over to the 6500 by the way we showed you the price already um the sticker on this truck is just over 91,000 which sounds like it is a lot of money but haven't we reviewed like a $103,000 F350 we have yeah it's so they can go more definitely it's it's not super uncommon to see six fig trucks in 2024 but still it hurts a little every time you have to listen to it this is 91 now it's time for the big truck the 6500 and yeah this thing's massive my head's like up to the bottom of the window on this truck I absolutely love it it's it is a 4x4 it is a crew cab so it's kind of like almost like a du I mean the do have rear du Tires I'd call it a duy yeah yes but there's something funny about this first of all it doesn't have a bed we got to discuss that for a second it's also a collaboration between two companies right yeah so International and Chevy kind of work on this together yes this is so-called a medium duty chassis uh cab because it's not like a full-size truck would be right it's bigger than that and it's also not a semi truck right it's a little bit smaller than a semi but basically International provides the chassis for the most part and you can see see this heavy C channnel frame it's basically open all the way through and of course there's the arguments right boxed frame versus open SE Channel frame what's better what's worse but for these type of trucks they want flat rails so you can mount different beds to it or cranes or something like that okay so International provides the chassis Chevy does all the other stuff well power like engine and transmission somebody else does the transfer case we'll get to that in a second we'll take a look at that for sure but yeah this is how they come to the dealer right so they come with no bed on it but the dealer can't sell them this way so the idea is a fleet customer would come in and say I need a dump bed or I need a tow truck bed then the dealer would help outfit that or I need a crane or something else exactly so just plenty of things and the reason this is so flat is so you can mount anything to the top of this instead of you know the frames on the regular trucks which are designed to interface with the bed and we were just talking to our our bodies here at Johnson autoplaza and they said they also sell these to Earth rer y right so there are other companies like uh motor home builders and such that actually use these chassis to build gigantic luxurious motor homes yeah it's basically a blank canvas with an absolute insane amount of payload so yeah so we were talking about this right that 2500 weighed about what 6,800 lb right this dual 3500 weighed about 9,000 lb maybe less so if you add those two trucks that's basically the payload of this truck yeah you could put the 2500 in the bed of the 3500 drive it up onto this truck and you'd still be within your payload capabilities or approximately I mean I'm I'm kind of waving my hands a little bit but this has almost like 15,000 lbs I don't think anyone's actually going to try that at home so it does should try we should okay this also has dual tanks so uh we have a tank here we have a tank in the back uh mid ship basically or between the frame rails right there what' you say over 60 gallons 65 gallons yeah that's insane look at the size of that pumpkin yeah I think we should we should go through and show some of the the super siiz parts so huge huge rear diff here huge pumpkin and this I I believe this is a a balancer uh this has hydraulic brakes so this is a you can see these lines right mhm these are hydraulic brakes these are not air brakes so you don't have to have a special license for air brakes in order to drive this truck right so like a full-on semi you would need to be licensed for air brakes although this is heavy enough gross vehicle weight rating of 23,500 to where you may need a CDL to drive this depending on your use case depending on what you're you're pulling or hauling yeah um drive shafts are massive right huge huge drive shafts and by the way you can have different rear um differential gear ratios this happens to be a 430 which I think is a little bit more more efficiency minded so to speak which is funny to think about this truck in efficiency in the same sentence yes um the drive shift continues I mean it's like a three-piece right there's a second piece there's a third piece we've got of course uh this is emissions legal right everything is cool we have a DPF we have a DF system we'll show you we have particulate filter look how massive the outlet is for the exhaust that thing's huge it's like a 5 inch or maybe more huge yeah 5 in from the factor um let's keep going you want to show the transfer case uh yeah yeah Gavin do you want to come over here dude um have you ever seen the transfer case this big I haven't and I'm going to get dirty and climb back here so you can see you need a scale of this look at my head next to this thing it is massive it goes it's like that tall it's like two and a half feet tall yeah Wild yeah and this also has pto's right the transmission also has a power takeoff unit um should I pop the hood yeah so this is like a Jeep so you don't go inside really to unlatch it you have two latches one on each side so this is the first latch do you want to grab the other one I'm on it you ready and then voila so a lot of the body like the front body component is also International right so this is kind of one of their designs um and this is also a Duramax so it's kind of funny so we talked about 470 horsepower in the 3500 this is only 350 so less power less power and 750 PB feet of torque so less torque but here's the thing about these chassis cabs they're rated differently um partially for longevity right because these need to be on the road for 250 350,000 m maybe more right that makes sense and also different emission standards right um some of them are engine dinos some of them are chassis dinos so don't expect this to be like 1,000 horsepower it's not yeah um still though I mean judging by the the capability like the the the engine's not the only thing that's rating the payload on the truck too as you can see by the lower horsepower the suspension the rest of the things around the truck but one of my favorite Parts about popping the hood open on this is how much space you can get to to work on this engine it's awes and I also want to show the steering yeah so come over here so first of all some of the other size comparisons look at the size of the steering box I don't know it's like a gigantic can look at every arm suspension components are gigantic do you want to start it up and like turn it yeah I'll turn the wheel for you so this front wheel so the axles are wider than a standard dual and then this has 50° you could see the uh fan also running okay this has up to 50° of angle and I can step into this no problem all right do you want to put it back and you could see this turning everything is and it's making funny noises and it's like talking to us it's still modern truck it's still doing a lot of thinking by itself yeah so that's one of the benefits right turning angle right so it's a little bit more maneuverable for its size cuz it's gigantic wheelbase by the way that's not the only wheelbase you can get you can get even longer wheelbases on this truck I believe this is 199 in yeah which is already massive which it looks crazy but when you actually throw like a service bed on it or some kind of body it'll start to look a little more normal a little bit more normal um and then of course like I said all emissions compliant right um and different ratings this has a six-speed Allison so we have Allison Allison Allison three different three different Allison two different numbers of Gears though I think it latched on that side hold on yeah there's a little red collar you got to push all right let's close this up and let's show inside yep Alex come on up yeah it's quite the climb and thankfully there's these steps here and a nice crab handle we're sitting high up in the air here Alex do you remember this key I remember all of this interior this is very old at this point yeah so this truck came out before 2020 by a good margin yeah actually I was at the um work truck show in Indianapolis when this when they launched it when they launched it I'm that old look at the size of the screen yeah tiny I think my iPhone 4 had a bigger screen than that yeah so and yeah just this this whole design is pretty ancient this steering wheel setup Eng gaug cluster where the steering wheel doesn't line up perfectly yeah it's a little bit at an angle yeah so not perfect but this is a work truck and over here I have my brake controller on the left I have my four-wheel drive controller I have my light controller these switches look familiar too for older Chevys yep totally uh then we have a power takeoff exhaust brake three auxiliary p uh switches and I think oh a cubby yeah that's right there's a cubby down here um but other than that similar transmission shifter and we have a third seat yeah so bench seat just like the first truck we looked at but this is a crew cab so we've got six passenger seating in here um but no sunroof but because it's a work truck we do have cruise control though your truck doesn't even have cruise control yeah my Chevy Colorado does not but this does have cruise control power windows and also power mirrors but not power extending nope so I can move my glass but I have to extend them manually which is fair I mean okay well I think we got to take this on the road I definitely want to get this on the road okay all right time for some big boy toys so don't be surprised because this truck will be pretty jarring at first um because there's nothing in the back yeah this is actually my first time riding in one of these so we're about to figure out you know it's like you're being the King of the Road right it feels like it yeah imagine if you lifted one of these and you know don't they lift them with the Earth rors yeah they do they put giant tires on yeah 40in tires probably bigger so like you saw like you could put a 40-in tire on this thing and the axle won't care no why would it cuz this got got giant axles yeah it's a little bit bouncy a little bit I'm excited to see what this curb is like yeah actually do did you go to a dentist already I mean are you T I've got an appointment next week so perfect timing hold on your teeth might fall out forgot my mouth guard today okay you didn't think this was a full contact no hold on oh yeah not great all right now this turbocharger need to SPO up a little bit sounds like a truck Andre yeah let's decrease the fan speed let's experience this truck yeah we could sweat a little B bit ooh I can hear I mean that High Country was quiet as a mouse this truck this truck has turbo lag first of all yep o did you hear that shift yeah that was a while yeah so I mean it's not just like what's going on under the hood too there's so much sound eding they put into those new the High Country trucks to make them feel so isolated on the inside this has probably got none of that no and also it's got those big gears right and big components yeah like we haven't even enabled the the transfer case yet but maybe when we pull up uh to the parking lot will again but it's like a it's like a an event you know you flip a switch you hear a clunk and like it goes into gear so definitely are we losing our camera yeah I don't know how of that we lost but we have footage from in front of us okay so our camera is jiggling a little bit we don't usually have this issue of having to constantly tighten the camera but that's how rough this suspension is yeah cuz it needs weight dude I mean when you're talking about close to 15,000 lbs of payload capacity or under that I mean this truck needs to settle down with some with some weight um and that's the same it's true for any because also the tires are really hard mhm and they're like 100 PSI I don't even want to know what pressure these are related to right now but they're designed to be that high it's just and it's a nice and 1/2 in wheel right so it's kind of classic medium duty or you know heavier truck setup okay I got to got to get a little bit of space here people will get out of your way in this yeah I've got a Duramax behind me I'm accelerating you don't need that much space and you know what actually it got that to speed pretty good yeah again all these are empty so there is a lag yeah so I mean the new truck is I mean sorry they're all the same year the 3500 is actually a little bit smoother quieter and also much less lag yeah there's this one it's got some lag but it's got 65 gallons of capacity and it can but it doesn't tow as high as the other truck that's the whole spiel about it yeah not as much Towing but a ton of payload so again for putting all kinds of equipment on the back this that's that's what this truck's for so this truck comes in 4500 5500 and 6500 configurations they started around 57k for like a dual Drive 4500 single cab uh this one is probably the most expensive one cuz it's a 6500 with the heaviest suspension it's got four-wheel drive it's got a big cab and I believe this one is like around 80 yep so not 91,000 but and it's also not the cheapest one but it's kind of middle of the road yeah and that's uh again still a lot of money but the capability you get out of this truck is pretty incredible looking that this truck next to the the DUI 3500 to me it seems like you get a lot more truck here for the money a lot of more metal yeah definitely uh yeah but once again over like 14,000 lbs of payload it's hard number to say yeah that's a lot of payload and um but a unique truck don't expect like this truck to be a pussycat I mean it is a truck yeah right so it's a bouncy it's a little bit louder and um yeah it's it's a little bit more of a challenge to drive yeah and I mean we were joking about how like this has got the old super old school interior and everything but I mean do you really care that much if you're buying this truck you're buying this cuz you need a Workhorse not cuz you care about what seats and what screen are in it and I'm sure um you might put your device up here right your mapping you know iPad or tablet you can do any any number of things here yeah it beeps in the reverse it does beep in Reverse it beeps in the reverse so it has a beeper all right so we drove three trucks we talked about them and we have to pick our favorites dude definitely yeah I have to say this one's my favorite really this yeah the 6500 is my favorite you fell in love with it I did yeah the reason is I don't need any of these trucks I don't need a heavy duty truck I could be fine with a midsize truck I own a heavy duty truck cuz they're fun so if you're going to go for it why not go with the most insane coolest one that's my reasoning okay I got you I I'm a sucker for this why is that uh cuz I'm a little bit older and I love the comfort of this truck you know it's nice and quiet it's it's very luxurious it's got nice leather inside so I think I would go this way I think that's a good decision you have a boat and uh I have get good use out of this like I I would like to put another camper in my truck and this will do both pull a boat and have a camper in here I on the other hand don't have kids or anything a single cab would be perfect I haul motorcycles all the time so a long bed would be perfect so logically I should go with the 2500 but somehow I'm end up get a two twood door cab of this we'll put a bed on it get a shorter cab it'll be good to go all right let us know what you think in the comments below and we'll see you next time
