Custom AEV PROSPECTOR XL TRAY BED! 1/10 Made!

Joel with cross Jeep here today I have a very unique vehicle for us this is our AEV prospector XL this is a Ram 2500 platform and then even better this is a tray bed so what's unique here is the fact that AV is making the Prospectors they're making the prospector xl's but the tray beds they actually only made have made 20 total of these tray beds this is a 2023 this is one of 10 in the second run that a did and so this is a really unique really rare vehicle we had the privilege of acquiring it from the original uh seller original purchaser to uh resell to a customer of ours that was looking for one so we we've had the privilege of getting that um and I'm going to go over what makes these unique we've had probably about three or four now of these uh on the second run to sell I the privilege of selling one that was custom painted in Earl gry so you can see uh some of the details on this we're going to go get a quick walk around and then go over some of those features no it's sold so we got a good view right here of this truck just to go over some of the details on what makes this treay bed unique one and and the prospector Excel really what AEV does uh with their vehicles they actually manufacture uh their plant all americanmade uh and they do that up in Michigan all their testing kind of the where they started to where they do a lot of their testing still is out in Montana so you can see we've got 40-in tires we've got the AV Cotler Wheels going to get a closeup on there have the really cool AV bison um logo on there really nice wheel here we're sitting on Toyo Mt uh 40in MTS right here and um moving to the front here we can see that we've got that AV front bumper this is cold stamp steel phenomenal stuff that a does uh and we're going to go over some of the details on here you can see we've got that a brush guard right here uh on the front part we've got that fully integrated steel bumper a takes off the previous Ram bumper from the factory puts this on integrates beautifully with the Body Lines they do a phenomenal job just look at how that integrates with the uh the curve of the of the fenders here that a puts those on as well but uh it just all comes together great it looks really good we've got those headlights right here in the lower part kind of some additional fog lights we've got a great uh heavy duty worn wiench integrated into the bumper and we've got these ipf off-road lights with that a cover on definitely want to take these off before you turn these on I have seen the headlights melted before for so you definitely want to get those off before you turn those on and we can we're going to talk about a little bit on this um cold air intake we have here up top so we this one came with this intake we've actually put one on for a customer it was a first one we did a really cool process to see cutting into that putting that in getting it set up for our customer uh that was on the uh custom colored one that we had um really came out nicely customer loved it but get cleaner air uh in there and um really sets looks really good as well too you can just see how it integrates with the vehicle gives you a really nice aggressive look um so going onto the interior going to see what a does on the inside how they upgrade a bit mainly going to be that leather interior that a does puts their uh their headrest their logo on the headrest here so we can see that right there and just a beautiful interior that RAM does on the Big Horns got that large 12-in screen this particular unit has about 6,000 miles on it so it it has used and we're going to see some of the upgrades that we're actually done by the previous customer uh to make this even more of an overlanding rig so we're going to get some of those details here in a moment but first just going to point out more of what a does looking underneath here we've got our air compressor uh this has two points that you can use it one on this side there's going to be another one on the other side so you can see that air compressor they've integrated in back here and then uh this tray bed so the the tray back here is made by a customer actually or not a customer made by a company out in uh Australia AV also used this on a oneoff production for their Colorado they did a try bed as well uh we actually had the privilege of selling that also to a customer who's really using it to Overland um I think he's out in New Mexico or in Texas area and um really enjoying that one that was a unique orange one uh the vehicle was orange uh and that tray bed was one that AV did in as a oneoff um so you can see here is the other um entry point for air compressor where you can use that whether you're using that while you're camping or you're going up and down with your air on your tires you've got that fully set up and ready to go with your vehicle uh these this tray bed does drop down you can see these panels here so each individual panel can be folded down and opened up pretty easily um to have easy access simply release that lever on either side and then you can drop this down so very very cool how they do this this is a great setup see there's that open tray so just to go over how this one in particular has been customized a little more we can see back here they've got a goose neck setup that they've built into this one so that's not how AV would make this but the customer had this built this way after they got it we also have a doedic cooler here uh as well a Husky toolbox setup and there's our full size spare integrated onto the back we've got additional light here on the side as well how that a does so just a phenomenal setup that a has really amazing unique vehicles going to give us one last good shot of this truck and talk really quickly about that Ram Sport Hood so this is not a standard Hood but actually has been added by AV gives us a really completes the look on these Prospectors and um they're amazing Vehicles the XL logo right there beautiful gray finish and that is our a treay bed prospector XL
