you just want to use the grate only for the dogs it also has a laundry bag that's to machine wash the grass in we had tremendous sales while phenomenal sales of 480 000 in just 27 months okay that's to be the top dog and that's why fire hydrants are popular they all want to go on top of each other so this this product mimics that right okay what is what is so different about this product i mean there's no real competition uh this product has got three different ways you can use it you can have the pet friendly grate here um and all the urine and everything um so now what i'm trying to do is what is the difference other than it's a piece of coffee one is the magic spray this uh this training spray you can buy spray now yeah sorry so that spray is irrelevant invented that yeah sorry you haven't invented that spray right the big selling am i correct can you use that spray on that mat or that box or that anywhere you want yes you can right so that spray is not the answer it's not what you're selling but it's it's included yeah it's not rina can i just say talking and talking and talking and talking and talking and talking over a question doesn't make you right [Music] an uncomfortable start for the excitable entrepreneurs can they show more measure under the scrutiny of theopa fetus [Applause] there's two questions i'd like answered sure what's going to be the turnover and profit to 2011 uh i i think it should be in the region of 10 to 15 000 pounds now the question was the turnover and the profit sure turn over the turnover should be 100 000 pounds so turn over 100 000 pounds yes or no no i think i've got my figure slightly wrong just have a thing just take a deep breath and think about it take a deep breath you got your fingers slightly wrong yeah the year one the turnover and what's the profit uh 2011 uh the turnover should be about 30 000 pounds and we made a paper loss for 13 000 pounds against the obviously sorry against the investment we put in now i'm going to allow you to make a forecast going forward it should be about a hundred thousand pounds do you know what he's doing so give him time to talk and profit of uh about 25 over 20 to 20 about 20 000 i think the turnover was 200 000 and profit was 100 000. we've been speaking it was true no no that's why i asked you so the turnover was 200 thousand he said a hundred thousand a minute ago i know but he's getting his figures mixed up should i ignore you uh a little bit i think things don't bode well for the trio as their financial acumen is called into question will deborah meaden offer them an opportunity to salvage their pitch [Music] meena tim trish i don't like the idea i think a pad is much better pads should be used for training your dog to eventually go outside the feedback we are getting from the customers we're selling uh the testimonials we know that we haven't even really gone into retail yet i'm going to phrase it a slightly different way often people take their dogs for an exercise and if you just say well i tell you what we won't take the dogs out for an exercise we'll just leave that in the corner we don't need to take our dog out over here in uk and europe there is no similar product with that kind there's flat platinum i've got a horrible feeling you're going to say exactly what you were just about to say in your office i just see the potential um okay um because this is a don't say anything tim sometimes i feel i've got a little voice in my head you don't have a voice in your head you've got a voice in mina standing next to you talking to you all of the time no i do love her and obviously she's good at something tim she's lovely can i just say sure i think mina's lovely and it's very nice that you're defending her thank you but she would drive me potty i mean i do agree i do agree i must be nervous [Laughter] the likable characters may have made an impact in the den but so far it's not been a productive one and now duncan bannertine has made up his mind too [Music] let me tell you what i am trisha tim mina look some people will buy this some people will like this but not the majority and not what you said every dog owner believe me there are people who would find this very useful and yes there are people who would find that useful but you know one minute a lot of photos in inside an outside london area uh where they haven't got backyards in when we're in the house the dog wants to go to the turret the dog waits because the dog's got a bladder that's designed in a different way from human bladders it's just like a family member why won't you have a like you know toilet trained dog at home why do you see no purpose do you thank you very much thank you thank you thank you thank you very much thank you thank you very much thank you very much i am out thank you thank you i don't always speak that much i'd sneeze yeah you just know this meena okay you said too much you know i personally wouldn't have one of those in my home what if i had a dinner party and one of them stuck in the corner it would stink i like a nice home i really want to make it clear i will no in no way want like the dogs to just get trained i'm not going into another diatribe because you mean passion doesn't create profit wish you luck on your journey thank you i'm out the cordial atmosphere disappears and frustration comes to the fore with just two dragons remaining will meena tim and trisha find salvation from peter jones [Music] um trisha unfortunately tim and mina have let you down as an inventor of this product the only person that's going to lose is you because it's your product and your business right so you failed by allowing two people to represent your product they talked more than you and that was wrong because they it's their company in the uk it doesn't matter this is your product this is your life sit down and work out how you can make this happen because they will be successful with their passion and enthusiasm but they need help you need to put that together at the moment you're totally uninvestable and that's the reason why i can't possibly give my money over so i'm going to declare myself out thank you we've been talking about this oh god knows how long and i still haven't understood what the dog's expected to do when it does it on that grass what do i do you can rinse it off outside you can rinse it off i don't know if it's me but that sounds like a right mess but the laundry bag is there as well i mean you know with a stick that you know what this is what's your machine you've got mental no it you'll see it gives you an option tim it just wouldn't happen this is not for me that's what i'm going to say but please do wizard what i'm saying you know actual people have there you go theo clear it's clear i oh anybody got a white flag i surrender it's relentless i am out okay thank you thank you good luck guys an opportunity missed the trio never came close to bagging an investor they leave with nothing what's happening here it's silence [Music] i think as much as you try to rehearse the pitch when you're in there and your nerves are frazzed and i think it's easy to
