[Music] i'm really just gifting stuff so i can just dance and sing hey guys today's video is something very different from my usual content if you don't already know who i am i go by pokey and i've been streaming for over six years i think almost seven and i was halfway through my chemical engineering degree when i decided to try streaming full-time for one whole year and it worked out so well that i just kept doing it and i haven't gone back to university really where i am in life today everything that i have is thanks to this amazing online community and the support that i've garnered through it literally all of my closest friends my roommates my the place that i live everything is a blessing from streaming on twitch so i figured it was a good time to give back so in this video i'm giving away ten thousand dollars on twitch either to streamers and communities that i already know and that inspire me or to some newer communities that i'm just discovering now if it is someone that i don't personally know i made sure to get their permission to be included in the video either way i really hope you guys find some cool new streamers do this also as you can tell by the background the actual footage was recorded not today when i'm recording the intro either way enjoy alright so i pulled up a little notepad here so i can keep track of how much i'm spending and i know 10k is a lot of money i don't even know if i've ever spent 10k on anything what is there to spend 10k on let's be real here being a part of the twitch community and everything that it's done for me just that in and of itself has made me much more than 10ks so i think this will be a really cool opportunity for me to give back hopefully you know boost some smaller communities as well as show my appreciation to some larger content creators for whatever reason that we will see all right so i'm basically just going to go through either people that i currently see are live or i'm just going to go through random directories and find different people to support check them out see how i like their content let's start off with soda because i see that he's streaming right now soda is someone that obviously is a twitch og someone i've looked up to for a very very long time and i remember it was either in a q a or a really random stream where i don't know he said something nice about me i mean nothing too serious but i remember being really taken aback by it because i wasn't so used to especially like larger streamers just saying nice things about me unprovoked so i thought that was really really nice i feel like he's someone who he just doesn't care what other people think he will play what he wants to play he'll do what he wants to do he'll say what he wants to say and not in an offensive manner that's the best part about it also and because of that i want to gift 100 subs to this channel so i think for the larger communities and the larger streamers instead of like actually donating direct to money i'll just gift subs as a thank you to them and their community to smaller communities i'll probably gift subs if partnered but mainly donate pokey you just give me 100 subs uh-huh are you without a crazy host highest i've ever gotten and i remember these like the reason it makes me want to tear up is because i remember these days i remember when like breaking triple digit viewership like getting over 100 viewers was just like the craziest thing ever and i was so excited i just celebrated my butt off i just want to double check and make sure like just looking through their twitter and stuff make sure that you know they seem like nice people yeah i mean this i think this just seems like someone who's hit twitch payout pog so cute i just love to see up and coming streamers that are you know grinding but they're doing it happily they're really excited about you know hitting bigger numbers bit by bit even if it's just like a little as opposed to i feel like sometimes i see people that just aren't happy when trying to grow their streaming community and it said i don't know maybe they're complaining about something or other or reasoning why it's more difficult um which of course there will always be kind of difficulties when doing this sort of thing and i think it's totally understandable to try to fix whatever issue you may think there is and speak up about that but i also think it's equally good to just appreciate every little positive that happens along the way every person that may add to your viewer account or come across your channel and just genuinely enjoy what you're doing anywho's i'm gonna go to their channel and i saw that they had their top donator list and i think their top donator was thirty dollars maybe i should just like 10x that what do you
