Dog Killed by Stray Bullet Allegedly Fired by Teen

Lisa Marina is mourning her dog Arya so much love so much love if she was the smartest dog I knew if I said if I went to the laundry room which is where she kept where we kept her treats if I was doing laundry she would wait patiently thinking I was going to give her a treat if like uh we would say ARA want to go bye-byes she would go crazy I'm like Arya you want to go B bye she knew exactly if we were going for a walk she it was crazy she knew how to like spell in the weirdest way she knew how to spell for years the bond between the Pomeranian Husky mix and her human was unbreakable I had a friend who had a friend who was giving her away and I saw the pictures on Facebook and I said I have to have her cuz she was just gorgeous and then for 4 years she became the pain in my rear end but in the early morning hours of April 2 second the unthinkable happened Lisa and Arya were at her parents home in Queens New York we slept upstairs for some reason I don't know why we were upstairs normally we sleep downstairs and my brother was up at like 130 in the morning he heard glass shatter in the bedroom and then he heard Arya whimpering on the couch and then I woke up because I heard my brother say Arya why are you crying Arya why are you bleeding why is there so much blood like we didn't hear any gunshots we didn't hear anything so then my dad and like we all woke up my dad and I took her to the emergency vet and they did the x-rays around 3:45 the x-rays came back and the doctor's like there's a bullet in her Arya had been struck by a stray bullet that flew through the bedroom window veterinarians worked to save her surgery was Monday Tuesday we went to go visit her she was like sad depressed but you know we thought she was going to pull through Wednesday she started walking on her own she was like walking towards us but she was a little unsteady but I thought she was doing really well it was good progress in the matter of 3 days so Thursday night we went to go visit her and she looked tired but then um she saw my sister-in-law and walked herself out of the cage it was like really crazy because it's like she sensed we were all there and she just wanted to come home and then Friday morning at 1 1:30 I got the phone call from the vet that they tried to resuscitate her for 15 minutes and it didn't like nothing was working and she just passed away from Cardiac Arrest Lisa is trying to process the law oh I have PTSD I I know I need therapy now I know for a fact and I'm fine to admit it and Lisa shuds to think what could have happened my dad sleeps less than a foot away from where the bullet went through the window and I had just gotten up from that side of the bed around 11 11:30 cuz I was laying next to my mom and we were like talking and on the phone and whatever but like that could have been me he could have paralyzed one of us police arrested 18-year-old Joshua Marte in connection with the incident he's charged with criminal possession of a weapon including a loaded firearm criminal possession of a weapon including ammo clip reckless endangerment and aggravated cruelty to animals the Queen's DA's office told Inside Edition digital he's pled not guilty marte's attorney released a statement to Inside Edition digital saying in part quote we are still analyzing the facts as they pertain to Joshua the statement adds quote this is a tragic loss for the owners of the pet and their family and a tragedy for the charged 18-year-old young man and his family meanwhile Lisa and her family continue to mourn it's a living hell I was supposed to leave for vacation today I canceled my plans I had a concert in Nashville on Friday to go to I have to sell my Morgan w in tickets I've been looking forward to this concert since October and now now I can't go It's upsetting how how can I go on vacation cry when I'm there when I rather just stay home and cry how do and how do I go to a concert after my dog just died like that's selfish for Inside Edition digital I'm St Bono
