Dodging a Bad Crane Pick

rolling up on this today some people probably remember a job I did on this very same bridge where we rigged it down if there's any pressure on the bridge I don't really want to tweak the gas line I guess I've talked enough I'm tired of this [Music] amazing how a little bit of time passing can change things come back to the same bridge a few years later with a crane a big 19-inch chipper Vermeer ax 19 and even the cameras are better this is a 360 camera we'll put that on the boom somewhere I'm even wearing Sean Finnegan's boots yeah he came to visit me left his boot in for a wedding Damien's wedding told him he wants to get his boots back you can come visit again tougher until then wearing his boots [Music] MRIs don't want them to break can't make every pic perfect [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] don't crawl under there people will judge us good job does it matter which one either one thank you thank you super nice oh it's like Laurel and Hardy old-time like springboard diving board get rid of that rusty nail on your Jules they gotta fix that part anyway after Wyatt he's got plans of that okay so see where the 2x4 kind of comes in to where the two by sixes are two by eights actually down low on the log that's where you're going to cut it we want the bridge to hold it up still if it's going to be held up because I don't want it partially way through the cut having the tree trying to fall with more weight than I can hold right in there with that 2x4 is bent sideways but not high enough to be hit and wire if you miss a little ain't coming your way but you were right about the part you're cutting off no as long as you've got it about heavy right the hollow and it is but heavy and the hollow of the fence will keep it kind of held a little bit in a pocket and what other thing to think about is the tree whether it's C well the rail is kind of holding it in a pocket and you cut down there the tree could slide toward you a little but it probably won't because of all that root wad it's probably gonna hold still just be advised if it slides this way and then just step back a little as it happens do you bad there wasn't another little spring board on the other side oh yeah that's cool when we just build a new bridge are you happy okay I'm happy my little guy Jaden dropped his ball well he threw his ball over the edge when he was here because he's like that he likes to play with gravity like Daddy so I made this little organic grappling hook I think I can get it don't worry Jayden I gotta get the net [Music] [Music] [Music]
