just coming off that tour yeah how was that it was awesome how do you look younger I'm serious the last time we talked [Music] [Applause] welcome here we go and I'm not Tony Hawk I felt like the last tip we talked on Zoom yeah and I felt like you were just being pulled in every direction because you were on tour at the time yeah I was um that's that's my everyday though Pull It in every direction yeah and just make sure I figure out those directions and get there yeah yeah how do you prioritize well as far as work the product and say it's easy it's just work over everything so though that's the you know the main priority in life is my kids yeah yep and providing of course I've been doing that since do they come with you on tour uh they make some of the dates especially if I'm somewhere close to the city's day and especially and if they ain't got no school going on or nothing like that yeah yeah what do they think they've been watching this since day one so they so used to it yeah I mean but now that they're getting older and stuff like that and they they got their own choices of music and you know what I mean so it's interesting to find out to hear their opinions now you know yeah yeah so because they're into different music they're into different styles and you know Daddy's a bit old school to them that's what they think they say that I think that's a theme for all of us yeah yeah we're not cool yeah definitely what about some of the new artists that love you because that's how I get my son like some of this because he skates and I'm friends with some of the people that are cool skaters I'm old and way past it but I know guys that are still cool so my son's like whoa you know Eric constant I'm like yeah dude like of course I do and then I'm cool again but I'm personally not cool at all I got I get those moments as well especially when especially when there's an artist that they are totally into it I may have done this I may do a feature a video or something for someone I'm gonna get hit up like yeah you just did a song with such and such and I might not even know the hell they talking about he doesn't we've had guests where his kids are here and I'm like oh I know what's happening today like yeah exactly actually costume was just here good guys so you're in good company that's awesome thank God so you got a pro model right hey I saw that years now yeah and they still trying to figure out you know they still literally asked the question like you still be skating yeah you know like yeah when I tell them something like you know I'm about Escape yeah you know what I mean so for those people when it they've sat down and asked me quickly like what the hell you escape from why you skate you know and when I explained to them Big Brother Community like this the community is totally different than the world yeah it ain't about music because music y'all my world is totally different from I like but as far as just the plane just plain old world like that Community wants out into that stepped into that Community I've never felt nothing and experienced nothing at it what's the you like about it so much uh just a man no one's no one there's no negativity what was the spark though what Drew you in in the beginning oh the moment the moment that I've what drew me in first of all I got caught up watching the show every day just was I guess I must have been stuck on this channel because it come I wouldn't turn it on so I wake up or the show was on the show was Camp Woodward oh yeah yeah what yeah that's amazing that was the show that you got into yeah I wasn't turning it on at all I just waking it just really it was good and at the time it was so long ago that it was about it was highlighting it was highlighting wouldn't be a nice kid and one skating the skate it was Alex mittler he was literally like a like a little uh Ryan Sheckler like you know he was like a little yeah Ripper though yeah his head looks bigger than his body yeah yeah it was so long ago that the BMX kid was uh Chad Chad Kessler I think Chad oh wow and he's like killing it now yep you know man he's like not a kid no more he's got dreads fully dreaded and he's he's always in the top three I think he might have finally won goal so and everybody know what Alex doing you know I mean killing it and I'm like that when I was watching him because I already tried I already used to ride BMX I did the BMX before because I was gonna say that sounds like you know bikes too yeah I did I I I I made the cover before I forget what magazine it was I was yeah yeah I was I was in like ramps and stuff or yeah yeah yeah but so when I saw that I'm now I'm looking at Alex watching Alex every day and it's just looking like he's just have every time you know I mean this is a kid and I'm like man that I've never watched it and say I could do that I could do that it was just that I was it came on every day so now I'm getting used to seeing it yeah and now I'm like you know I'm like and I'm I already fake I'm figuring I know the bike stuff already so I'm more interested in when Alex come on now I'm really getting into it when I lived in Miami at the time and I called my homie and I was like yeah I want a ramp you know and that's without skating that's how much I didn't know about skating I was like I want skates I want a ramp on my roof I had a big ass roof in Miami and so he put so he was like okay we put so he put a quarter pipe on the roof and so the guy that put it on the uh Jay um makes a little guys probably know me makes a whole bunch of stuff he does all kinds of parks and stuff uh he he saw me probably at the corner of his Island you know I was just up there watching him build it for a moment and he probably saw me at the corner his eye messing with the skateboard and you know he came over there and was like you you know you you do what you do joking you know he's like what you're messing around you're trying to figure out something trying to I was like nah so he was looking at me like you don't know how to skate yeah did this this wasn't fake you know because I'm probably looking like a like a two-year-old you know that just and he was like because he came over like with tricky trying to learn yeah no trick actually he's just trying to get on it you just got a skateboard and just went down the street was like what's up with this thing ain't no Street I went on a ramp I told him build a ramp on my roof the first time he skated was on the ramp yeah it's amazing yeah so he was right yes but Jay taught me though once he saw that yeah he took it upon himself to say you know what I'm gonna come in an hour earlier than the time you asked me to be here if that's okay with you and I'm gonna try I'm gonna teach you how to skate yeah you know I mean like I'm Bill I don't want to build this round for you and it'd be the reason why you [ __ ] yourself up and it's not it's not a problem why Lil Wayne can't be you know what I mean such so he taught me how to drop in first obviously and then you know my my want to my want to has been showing me the rest and the the obviously because he would leave and now I'm just dead with the rent by myself all day and night and so that's when I was talking to him and he said you know I'm he's still seeing that you really you know as I'm talking I'm like yeah I like I'm watch this guy might be jumping on the stairs in the rails and he was like oh so you want to straight skate you know he taught me the difference yeah you know because obviously the first thing I told him was I want to rap I want to round you up like the first thing I told him the first thing I told him on God first thing I told him I was like I want to remember like time with the Tony Hawk [ __ ] and then so he was like well now that we talking every day and I'm like he's teaching me and I'm like man I'd be sitting the kids jumping on the stairs I can't wait till I do that he's like so you want to straight you want to stay straight and I was like I don't know the difference so he's obviously taught me the difference so he looked at I told you the roof was [ __ ] huge and so he was he looked at the roof and he was like I could build your street section right over there yeah and so you built the street section it was a three-star rail you know you could drop had the quarter pipe at the very end of it so you have some a little bump speed bump in there so I can learn how to do all the basic stuff real quick flash section all that stuff so is that people there skating with you yeah yeah yeah and then I remember you became one of the early X Games you showed me a photo of the whole setup okay it was impressive and so then he then later on he noticed I had some more room on a roof and he built me a bowl whoa get a full skatepark because when I I you know I'm still watching this show he don't know nothing about that search on me coming down you know I'm seeing something new on the show and I'm like man they were skating a swimming pools yeah I was like they ain't no water in a swimming pools they're skating all around he was like it's a bowl yeah he's like I'll build you a bowl right I could build your bow right here so that was my learning ground yeah right there so he would also make me um at the top he would make me stand at the top of the quarter pipe you know like in and make my 25 different little angles and like that and he pushed me into the car no skateboard just push him into the quarter pipe and you tell me I need you I need you to learn to fall yeah before I had to escape good advice yeah he's like I need to know how to fall before you learn how to skate and so he was like I'm probably do like if we do this enough times I'm gonna probably push you over 25 000 ways you're gonna probably fall over 50 000 ways and it's like just know that when you're really skating you're not going to fall none of these ways but you can't expect it exactly like you still want to escape you know and I was like yeah so you know he saw my note and I want to yeah and so everything came from then that's when it rains too much in Miami all right and so up hit so so much and also I ain't like the it's just you know yeah so what's your favorite tricks to do like what are your the things yeah um my first trick was a fake shove so obviously you know your first you like those face you know your favorite your first trick is your favorite yeah okay cool I'm gonna figure shove off of anything yeah you know it'll be the first record I thought the same thing because I see you skating I'm like cool he's skating and then I don't think about it and then I'm like I see the the pro model thing and I'm like wait that's that's a long time you've been skating a long time now my man Adam Z so I'm at Adam Z he was from uh five Borough skateboard team from New York yeah and so in the midst of in the midst of all this learning how to skate stuff we we go we went on on you Googled or whatever and he was on there just a guy in the park by itself whoever's homie filming he was just literally just teaching tricks and so we hit this guy up you know like hey you know Wayne want to learn how to escape your mind we know you're in New York if you don't mind would you take some time out we'll fly you out to Miami and that's you know he was like what hell yeah you're like I ain't got nothing to do you're like what he's like fly me to buy every week gotta fly me back that's what we did really yeah we just stayed with you he became a part of the team yeah yeah he became a part of the team and unfortunately um Adam so when I when you see those tours I did with full skate parks on the stage yeah and guys skating that's all Adam oh wow yeah that's all Adam Adam helped me put all that's all that's his son as all all the guys we met we all we put them together and I've created a team out of those guys yeah and Adam pass unfortunately due to cancer after after one of the tours but that was one of the reasons I said I would never put my board down all right I would never put my board down because I I don't want him turning in his grave I don't know if I do he would not like that so I stay on that board and also I would not lie to you man on God on God seeing this man that 50 that 50 your 50 year old thing in the barracks and oh that was more motivation than anything oh thank you that's motivation like seeing LeBron I appreciate it 9 000 year still dunking on you know like yeah I see you little new guys it's cute that's it so that was that right there is just motivation yeah but again Adam Z in your World a little worried about your passion for skateboarding because it's pretty obvious that you've got the bug and you want to skate everywhere all the time and you're like trying to learn new tricks and people worried about you getting hurt and not being you know I know you know you can answer I know you have understood they don't get it so they don't get it enough to be worried yeah yeah they don't get it enough to be worried they still like I said I literally still get like you know like literally still like when I say still this tour I may have hit a city that an artist was in and you know they hitting me up like so what are we doing after the show I I got a skate park book they had a scout Park here so I got a park book we're going to get some like you still skate you know I'm like they told me uh when we did that Zoom you told me you brought Drake to one of the parks exactly and then I bought um Ty Dollar Sign recently to I think I bought them to the um not I think I brought him to Paul's Park bottom of the policy is he skating exactly so these guys probably skate it you know they probably done this when they were young yeah yeah you know I mean ain't picked up a board in years I'm probably thinking that's the same thing I'm doing yeah yeah when tiger got there you know they start no you know he notices that why are we not even talking yeah because Wayne is really skating he's serious he's been trying one trick for like three hours I ain't even said what's up to me you know what I mean so the only thing they can say is when I take a little break and skate over to the table you know to probably smoke to hit the blunt or something that's that's and then it like you and the first thing they all say not just tired they always say the same thing man you really skate yeah yeah I'm like you you really skate like no I'm trying and I'm like now you're really skating this only because I'm not doing what they're doing so what I'm doing is really skating yeah you know so and because you're in it yeah and yeah you you are testing you do it I've seen you do it from from the beginning and you did not give up I mean you full skate approach full skate mentality you know committed to it yeah and I mean we got there shooting Parts I'm in the streets I'm getting kicked out yeah was that for you when they kick you out are they like wait a minute man you know we try to get at least one or two tries and you know and they do see that when they see that like and they do the same thing the cops do the same thing on the security do the same thing especially if it's like three four in the morning yeah because that's when I gotta hit spots up right I have to hit spots up like street spots I have to hit him up at three four in the morning something like that when there's literally no one there right so when there is a spot that you you just didn't know security was then they come out and they they've shining lights on everybody like [Laughter] I'm well aware Rodney Mullins a skateboarder and I was like wait you stuck skating when yeah I thought I thought he was the only person that's my time that's awesome what and then that and we always be like once they do know this is like okay can you get one more try yeah yeah yeah they want to see it they don't believe it yeah oh my God you really I do want to see you try it [Laughter] so hopefully we landed within that tribe but yeah that's awesome yeah that's amazing well I and I also I just appreciate that you were such an advocate um in championing skating and bringing it to a new audience yeah truly man like unlocking it it's a lifestyle yeah they asked me what's the main what's the organic reason I tell them it never changes the main reason for me the most organic reason for me is I remember one day having so much on my mind dealing with the business whatever and I remember totally just going to sesh and someone having to remind me of the things that were on my mind yeah yeah yeah absolutely yeah and that's when that's like meditation exactly like when I first learned to meditate I was like wait I can get here way quicker yeah yeah where everything's gone yeah yeah because because if you don't if you've got one other thing in your head you are eating [ __ ] thank you they always ask me why was it it's a getaway it's a release for you I'm like nah it's simple you can't put your feet on on for on four wheels on on some wood and start kicking and start thinking about nothing else but what's in front of you you know yeah that's all you can think about so you do that for three hours straight four hours straight and you forgot what the hell was on your mind yep yeah uh whatever it was on your mind it doesn't hit the way it hit earlier so yeah everything you can actually answer questions after that too right yeah so that right there has never changed with it right so much so to it like to like I said I've had a whole full skatepark on stage it sounds like you're like when you're on tour you use the skate bit because you that's your break yeah like from all the things that Mayhem have been on the road it's a thing we have they book a skate parking when we on tour if the tour if the place doesn't have a park but when we're on tour there's a park books in every city yeah if it's a private facility yeah yeah booking every city yeah that's how I met that's how I met my team I got the team that got just going to those certain parks in certain cities and running into one or two people that just starting to link with me don't mind coming on the road packing their bags and coming on the road with me and that can I mean relationship continued and though and again those guys that gave me the pro model man those are they are Beyond friends man yeah yeah they're beyond friends they didn't have to do that their face light up like it's better than a gold record I'm like what that's what I said I was like I almost was a little scared I was like did it did I make it a little too obvious yeah that I felt way better than any award I ever gotten the music Grammys anything I like did I make it a little too obvious it was like it was like bro you you said you fell down to the ground it was like you didn't fall like when you got any jokes I totally get that I feel like because I'm older and it's been such a long time but whenever someone reminds me that I've had signature skateboards and signature shoes and stuff like that like I forget this the joy of the first one where the guy's like so what do you want as a graphic and I'm like yeah wait Graphics whatever I want you're gonna put it out and it's like yeah dude that's why but it was a surprise for him so he didn't get that moment I just got that moment I'm laughing at you it's like now you're gonna think of that one and then you're thinking of the next one and how are you gonna shoot it I'm looking at yours now they're awesome so I'm getting some ideas just wait go for it was that um having that crew is that the inspiration for the documentary that you're working on uh the documentary they just had they asked me oh really yeah I'm not that guy I'm not that guy to be feeling like yeah I need to get documentary on myself no not for you I'm talking about for but but for the whole project yeah the squad right yeah yeah yeah yeah oh for the squad now that's yeah I just want to I got to put those guys out there these guys yeah they work hard and also no I know they're doing one on you because I'm doing interview before next week but um but I was talking about the one that you producing exactly those the main things for them my main thing for them was I don't I was like man I got tired of everybody looking at them as these just the guys that skate with Wayne or he's just a guy or maybe one day we're gonna hear these guys as rappers and we're gonna put these guys out and I was like nah I need you I need them to know that no no I have a skate team and y'all are the team yeah and I was like no I need to when I go on Thrasher when I go on whatever I need to see y'all need to see the Squad part and such and such part from this from this the the rough cut like I was like there's none of that on there for my team and I was like I thought that was I told I'm the reason that does none of that I was like I'm the reason why they're looking at y'all different and they're looking at each other it's just the guys that skate with one just the guys that hang on Wayne so much so as to what they they were probably looking at them as well what team is he with yeah that type of thing like yeah he'd be with Wayne and stuff but what skate team is he with and I was like so I'm gonna fix that yeah yeah and that's what that was what that's about right that's what the squad documentary about just so they can here they are are you helping them with like their their pots and stuff oh yeah yeah oh yeah they would know a lot about how they want to present themselves right yeah they're skaters yeah so how is that when they're like this is what I want to use are you cool with it what there you go we do what they say right yeah so no problem clearing music you know what I was talking it was like the one one time right what about this song yeah I got you that right there when that was told to me that was a funny thing you know when I finally got to meet everybody people you know they was able to sit down like pros and stuff they're like man so just so you know you do have a you know you do have a a little reputation in the Skate World before you jumped into it I was like what what reputation it's like uh everyone knows that Lil Wayne does not none of your songs are gonna get cleared for apart so we hoping that because you're in the in the skateboard now that that changes I was like man I don't even know nothing about that I was like I don't yeah yeah NATO I've never in my life been told so such and such wanna your song for Escape video it never gets to you what I didn't even know that I didn't even know I'm on the I'm on the other side of that of trying to submit clearances so I know that half the time it doesn't even get to the artist yes yeah that was like you just get a hard no and it's like dude but I think if you ask him personally he'd be down for this yeah exactly so I was like no so I think I think Alex may have been one of the first to to use it oh yeah so yeah I think he used something like that I had to get clearance because you had to but you had to go ahead telling them like use myself yeah yeah what and he skated like anybody that won myself up you better clear it and don't be hitting my name here for no zillion dollars like come on man Clarity yeah they got no money man like that we just went out for it the last clearance I got from The Birdhouse video from Saturdays was I had to get Rizza and I just had to keep keep trying every angle until I finally got to him directly and he's like yeah it's cool it'd be that simple yeah but everyone else is like no you're not we can't make that work trust me I know I have a I have a band and I used it for a video recently and something happened where it got flagged for using somebody's music and I was like who do I have to call to let me play me and then I actually but it was like it took months to get like me my band allowed to be playing while I was in the video I went through that you did no I went through that yes with your own song yes I thought that I could put you know me and my homie just filmed a little few tricks yeah no I mean that's what it is on my iPhone I put like I put my songs at first I was gonna put a Brendan I'm glad I didn't do that I was gonna put a brand new song that was unheard oh wow yeah I'm gonna put an unheard song on there so then I was like oh you know what goes well to it and it was one of that something that's already out I put put that out there I got hit a real call real quick like oh you can't you know you can't put that did you clear that clear one that's me like clear what it's like well you know they they gonna all right whatever take it you can't be like yeah it's cleared yeah I was like yeah it was a bad conversation actually yeah one of the worst one of the worst things about that especially with using music on social media is that sometimes it's clear but then in other countries they see the video with no sound yes which is more disappointing yes I'd rather them just not see it I don't even see it at all yeah like no we can't we can't hear that but it's still it's still an amazing thing just to make you know all that so all That's so exciting to me you know like this what I mean by that is I've recorded every day Adam I'm not into the editing right you know I'm not into you know I might I write my treatments for my videos you know things like that I I edit my own songs and things like that but as far as the with skating man I'm into the spot yeah I meant to you know I went to the spot finding the spot I'm I'm I make I may scope it I may watch what we watch the whole session we did at that spot and notice that I could do this trick instead we did this I could and see the same spot on someone else's part and notice what they did yeah yeah and thinking that I could have definitely did and I'm not into you know I'm not that in editing stuff on iMovie on my phone and and happy to do it to what I mean I'm talking about I put my phone connected to my theater television yeah yeah and I'm gonna edit that way oh wow yeah that's it so it's a whole process and it's awesome so I ain't I've never felt that way about nothing and again I haven't had a not even a itch to stop skating I'm not even the the small not even the small and and I'm talking about this could be after you I know you guys this could be after a session that I've been trying to trick for down this seven months yeah it's sore out there yeah yeah what are your methods to heal do you like ice and all that stuff are you a stretching guy or with that and you guys the people close to me man I pray and that wait before and after I pray I just pray a lot the pain away now I'm afraid about no pain I pray for pray for a healthy life and I don't work out I don't eat healthy I don't do nuts and people always say what's your regimen what's your what's your workout or what you what you're vegan you only eating I mean if you're scared you're not getting to excess though no no I eat but I do I also let them know that I eat a home-cooked meal every day for the probably for the last 15 years right I don't know what fast food tastes like right now then that's the healthy food a whole lot yeah it helps a lot yeah but then you know the first thing they're going to point to you know the first thing they're going to point to they'll be like I know what it is that skating if you skate all the time that's you know taking slams and being in pain and so what I do yeah for what I do for that is definitely I just you know I do what what everyone else would I ice it uh right you know I said do whatever I gotta do you ever done that cold plunge yeah you done that how do you feel about that and I'm never doing anything that was the most honest answer I got I got him one like because we're older and it's like I don't like it but I'm oh man and like I I hit the ground I'm not as good as him I hit the ground all the time when I skate so when I get up sometimes I'm like if you don't go in there you're not doing anything today like you won't make it to the car so I'm like get in that ain't at that point but it is yeah well you wait dude you're not as old as me it's coming and you love skateboarding that much because this is the crossroad I hate that thing I hate that thing but do you want to skate you like skating because if you don't go in there you know skating and I'm like okay I'll get in there like I get the people have going out there without it and so stitches are closer exactly so I let them know we'll start bleeding and sweat will make me stop so don't worry it's a skate it's a skate accident wait look up let's deep into skating and skating yeah and mostly vert skating so to try to like channel that skill set into flat was really hard for me and I remember just in my driveway for days trying to keep up so I finally got one but I did it on a freestyle board you've seen free stuff boards right yeah yeah wow because that's that's what we equated it exactly it wasn't Street skating back then you know this is like I wish we would have left it at that I was with Chase yesterday though he said you're almost doing yeah yeah yeah like how close I'm very close you're doing them on Banks Banks and um growing up is my best yeah it's good yeah same with the fakie yeah yeah yeah that's because we're all transitional well he and I are transistor right yeah but you know what I mean that's what we all feel comfortable again I lift yeah I was gonna say when you start a quarter fight that's what I was going I was gonna say because I started plain and simple so the street [ __ ] came later remember I told you right I'm just talking I'm now I'm learning now I'm not to do tricks because you had a bowl yeah I'm doing tricks on the quarter pipe too and not and that's I was just having a conversation with him one day and I just said something about the stairs talking about Alex and I was like yeah I'll be watching this kid he'd be jumping downstairs and he was like you want to learn that too and that's how so I was already over I was I was already into the vert so I was already so you have legs for that so that's yeah so when I you know when the guys on my team first thing they said the first thing they you know they all said at the same today they would category they would categorize me as a training a transition skin like they're like yeah he stay he's straight training like you know how to do all this [ __ ] yeah yeah trust me you know I might be with Theo you know what I mean I might be with Theodis Beasley and he might see me go up the wall on that power spot and be like like but I'm not even about to even go there just to turn around yeah you know he was like so so and you know what you know when I'm first starting the skate I'm hearing people tell me that you know like I'm I'm at certain going to Parks every day and you got two different type of skaters there you got the street skaters the guy just skating the little hubbers but they're doing a thousand tricks yeah you know I mean and then they see me drop in on something about that high yeah and they like you just dropped in yeah yeah you know you're like wait you just rock the figgy does that mean Are You full cap you drop it on butt was that a how dare I you drop in on ver I'm not trying to I just saw this I learned I learned a verb ramp yeah I thought you meant a quarter pipe like I learned a little quote then then we got a big one when I got my own part if you skated a hot pot yeah you have yeah who's ramp we was we was at a uh I had a show and I don't want to say it was Minnesota but wherever we was at X Games had a competition yeah in the hotel I was standing was was close to the room so it was it was it was it was that night because the only time I guess and it was untouched and I didn't drop in first I started going and once I got up and did a rock the fake yeah they wearing pads no holy you went rocks fake got a version without pads yeah that's full on yeah that's hardcore wow I mean I knew I knew you know how to pump Transitions and stuff but I figured you would try to learn k-pops on flat just because we all learned him on flat yeah I learned I try to learn all the flag tricks yeah but I'm just I still yeah yeah I wasn't trying to be disrespectful man I've seen video of you doing if you're doing shove its off things it's I always think well then vert ramp is probably out of the question but that to me onto ATV to me I love that you love this TV that's yeah gotcha yeah dude that's way now I'm doing this shove it I'm doing shove it to rock that's Heaven on on a verb yeah shove park or something you know to be someone I don't know and they'll say but you know the whole time I'm we in there skating I'm watching them dude tricks that I don't even know the name of them are you know so yeah and then when they see me do something small like you know just uh a tail stall yeah on a big ass car you know they like you just you just went up like you know I'm not you're not like not for real and they'll take themselves out of it you know they're like no for real there's pros that were not that and so yeah in the first Prolo it took to tell me was Theo oh yeah it says like a session with Theo and having Theo stop you know tomb what are you doing you just went up there yeah I'm like yeah but you can't did you ever try to learn how to knee slide uh uh I think I think I did that on without even trying to learn oh you just did it just by saying okay seeing it yeah saying that that's how to do it yeah yeah because I mean if you're if you're messing with vert ramps oh no I'm definitely yeah I definitely yeah yeah at some point you're going to want to learn it yeah yeah and but not um I only I only skated one time with the uh with the pat with pads on yeah but I learned everything out every day jay would make me pad up oh yeah the guy that was pushing me and stuff man every pad he lost way longer yeah I gave Cuddy a couple lessons and got him to wear pads did the same thing he went immediately built a mini ramp yeah and so like I was saying about ties so Ty sends me a clip the neck like you know later on yeah he is fully in the he is in the hospital bed what and what what tubes tied up no what and something ain't like man messing with you I'm like boy did you get shot yeah he sent me the clip after I'm thinking he's about to really send me a clip of him coming out of the club or something somebody it's a clip of him trying to drop in [Applause] drop it he's dropping it ain't [ __ ] dude getting tubes for a drop in is you know that's like I thought you know one of them bad fat he took one of them drop-ins and and the boy shot out yeah yeah you can see all the people rushing to him to see if he okay and I was like man I'm glad you're okay lot of time yeah what gets you hyped like what gets you hyped recently in skating man just you know the simplest still the simple [ __ ] is watching the new part new parts yeah yeah new parts right playing this to this day still is the I'm calling my man Phil that's my main film who filmed for me I'm calling it like oh they skated that they skated that spot you saw that one I'm like especially when especially when I see somebody skate a spot that I came up to and didn't and felt like okay yeah this is this because a lot of spots we go to I'm with my team I'm with the team so we we come to a lot of spots that doesn't mean we're not gonna hit not because they cascaded just because I can't get a trick or a good trick on it doesn't mean we're not gonna skate it but I it'd be a trick you know in my why the whole time they session I'm I'm telling myself I bet you if you try go for this one time you probably get close to it you probably and didn't do it it was just straight sesh doing something else the whole time yeah see us and then see a part and you know and see someone do it and like oh my God I told you you could have got that and I got we got to go back you know have you done that yeah yeah it is and gone back to the spot yeah there's a ledge out here from somebody's video part yeah especially when um I was watching the horrible world uh they just dropped one probably a week or two two weeks ago and um they have like two or three females on their team and man it was one of the females hit the spot and I was like no I gotta go back on my mind we gotta go back I gotta go back I gotta go back their stuff's really creative it's very extreme really good I mean they do card they might stop into a whole choreography yeah right you've seen their stuff but I didn't even not who the the warble crew no yeah I don't know them yeah I mean they're coming out you've seen their stuff you probably don't know oh okay yeah what man ramp man ramp you see man ramp the addresses of like the construction worker oh yeah yeah okay yeah I'm back good to be here he came to my ramp he came to I don't know if you saw it he came to my ramp yeah and did a bunch of stuff on the ramp no I didn't see that it was sick was it in their part in their part uh it was a thrasher thing okay a few years ago but he uh he set it up as well he set up a piece of wood as a wall ride like up on the vert and then I went up on it and then he carried me across the channel dude it was one of the scariest re-entries I've ever had wow yeah because I was just I had to trust him to keep that thing over the coping yeah and I it took me a while to really like get in there but I I did it I like that I like the whole little Vibe it was like they don't you know they don't take it too seriously yeah they just having fun yeah I mean that's that's it that's what it's about and for me though I got hooked when I first got into it into it I got hooked hooked and hooked on the uh the Death Wish crew oh yeah that was hooked and so I remember my first time I got to go out there and skate with beagle and so he took me to a uh he took me behind uh you guys only when I say you guys La y'all the only ones have this play I think it's a we don't have this in New Orleans I think it's something called Fat Burger yeah yeah he took me and there was a grad there was a little grass Gap and from the back of the and so uh he was shooting you yeah yeah and you know his motivation yeah you know you can just skate straight and if you don't fall you know yeah yeah so the motivation for him I don't need that I am already a go-getter I don't we not good like I'm he'll make me jump off a bridge basically but I landed it and ever since that they've been calling it The Weezy The Weezy fact the fact The Weezy Fat Burger Gap and stuff yeah shout out to beagle man he's awesome man but that whole Squad I mean before I even was out when God before I even met anybody from them from there I had I Dustin and [ __ ] today to this day he's always out the [ __ ] country and stuff but still talks to Dustin he might hit me up and tell me some crazy send me a crazy message or something my man Braden um he's still to this day Braden is I'm not to say his last name he know I don't offer friends or whatever Braden he's still to this day got the hardest trick in my Park oh yeah what's that yeah so no one was watching like you know everybody's sitting around talking smoking he he dropped into the uh I have a wall a wall right now so you went to the top of the wall hey no one goes to the top of the wall he and he went and fit in and like Smith uh something like to the feeble the top of the wall and then came down the wall and when he came down the wall he he big spent into my bowl and into the flat and until he I have a I have a grass Gap I have a little smaller a little small pad and then you can go there's a grass and then that's the the bowl he took that over the grass got your big Spin and when he got into the bowl he landed into Manny what and he man he made it all the way up on out the bowl and into flatty kickflip out the boats and kickflips and that exactly now uh like you just saw that cigarette the whole time that's video game [ __ ] cigarette the whole time wow like I was like B he's like yeah that's crazy what about this guy video I seen lately that was old but you did a 540 with a glass of milk in your hand oh yeah like that's a real glass of milk dude was it a milk commercial it well so it was uh yeah it was for uh buns bones love milk okay yeah for a few years ago but I'll tell you how that happened we were trying to figure out they had uh the swimmer Katie Ledecky she I put a glass and she put a glass of milk on her head and swam across the full-length pool without spilling it and they're like so you know they approached me like that's what she did what do you got and I was like I don't know so I started trying to do like I try to do a line try to do a couple tricks I kept spilling milk all over the ramp like I couldn't do it yeah I would have been doing the same damn thing yeah I was just like I don't know I keep can't I keep spilling it and then I went up and just spun a five without without trying to make it with the with the milk with the milk in my hand and I was like you guys it's still full it didn't spill like maybe this is that's it you just do that and then we we set it up like a one one shot that's it it was one shot because because we didn't have time to keep drying the ramp that's what I'm about to say what about them yeah because I was trying it on the other side of the ramp just trying to do errors or or grinds and stuff I just kept it was just sploshing everywhere yeah and so then I went to the to the other side that hasn't been spilled on I was like this is this is it you guys we got one shot at this I don't know she swam that thing yeah come on yeah so I don't know about this science and gravity thing but that asked me was it Spain Barcelona that was one of the most amazing things that for us for someone that you know that loves skating that was one of the most I've never been to a country that looked like it was made oh yeah it was a skate park there was a there was a museum we were skating and I think they call it the faux blocks or something like that and because they got these big full stairs and so but there's a bunch of other stuff there we were skating it and you can here comes the guy the tour guy on the tournament with the with the he got a crew you know got tourists with him and he's on his mic and that you know he's telling them and stuff and so I'm like [ __ ] we about to get kicked out yeah I'm like [ __ ] they got a whole twerk he stopped he stopped I don't know what he's saying he's speaking in Spanish or episode but we have people with us and they're like they're like now you telling them the whole lot he telling them to wait and let us finish let us finish trying not trying nah I swear to God he was like he's like he's telling and he's and now when he's finished talking he start walking the guy who's listening he's like now he's telling them that this is a part of I was this is a part of our country wow and he's telling them and they're about to walk into the museum and look at whatever's in the museum he's telling them that he's like he's telling them that this is what this is Barcelona this is another part of a that's why they stopped and waited and then they walked in I was like what that is at five four five in the morning I went skate at this spot because I played it on your game that's very cool I swear I didn't know it exists for real it was this spot with a bunch of graffiti and how I remember it from your partner they have this big old like a big cone it looks like a big air conditioned vent but it's is it goes with the whole scenery oh yeah yeah I know what you're talking about exactly and so that's how I moved I was like this bathroom he was like yeah this is a famous spot so we skating that spot something like three four in the morning there was like five sets of people out there it was like uh as a group of people that was way in the back we know what they were doing they were just chilling there was another group of people they was literally practicing salsa yeah yeah it was literally practicing salsa there was you know you could see it hey one two three skating but not by us right you know and then that was uh they were filming at the time at this time they were filming I think it was the last big uh I think it was that was four or something like whatever the left it was for that it was fun so we one of the one of the homies was there and he was actually so he was leaving but he seen me personally like man let me get this trick with you right there so you gotta trick with me right there so I said that to say that there was there was all those groups out there where we skated out there for at least three three hours I was trying this trick I was trying to line I was trying to they had alleged and 180 off the other ledge and I tried probably that like I said for like a good two and a half hours trying to trick no one told me that no one bothering me no one so what we just thought you know figured that they don't know who we are you know no one bothering me I didn't we even think they was looking at a when I landed That Trick little part we put out when I landed that trick man every single person out there the people that I told you was way in the back that we were still kind of skeptical about when we couldn't know we know what the hell he was doing but every single person just rushed me [Laughter] and celebrated you making your life to where my security guy he was [Laughter] like and he didn't know he know what happened everybody and they hugged me and they you know yeah yeah they not worrying about that I'm Lil Wayne because you know a lot of people you know in America they would have been like we never can't touch him like that yeah they got he got security around here because they love skating and they know you made the line I never felt nothing like that I was like crazy when I say we was out there three like three hours when them folks ain't say nothing to us nothing only one spokes told us something was the homie who was filming for Baker when he noticed it was like [ __ ] what you doing way out here in Barcelona you know he was like shouting like I'm coming to escape the spot yeah he's talking to me exactly he was like yeah you really do this yeah I was like I was gonna I was like yes I really do this and so he was like man let me get a part let me get a trick with you in it and I was like [ __ ] go ahead let's get it and after that man when I landed that trick rushed me the Cha-Cha the salsa people they are they rush me no so well it was so it was so on point so I thought it was planned yeah so it's a prank show I thought it was they just all right now and I had to explain to him as a kid until everybody I was like this is this is skating yeah biggest most hype demo I've ever done was on the beach in Barcelona like the most people I've ever seen show up for a program yeah like the loudest cheers I've ever heard it was wild it was that that whole it was it was the only vacation I've ever taken that and it was first skating it was recommended by the homies that's hardcore Barcelona for a skate trip yeah yeah it was recording it was a vacation yeah I told her homo like man it was like man you want like the skate Hub they're like go to Barcelona like you're not gonna get kicked out yeah you know and it was like you're gonna probably get some good food you're gonna get kicked out you're gonna get celebrated yeah you're gonna get celebrated when you make a trick dude stopped and dude stopped though so amazing okay then now let's walk I was like what the hell you listening to this security Gods celebrate us yes what I mean and also some some of these security guys I just want everybody to know a lot of people think that when they see me they let a state no they do not no same yeah I say thank you these are facts not that they they'll kick you out but they won't arrest you exactly or write a ticket yeah I guess that's like the past the past that we get yeah because we were skating a backyard uh in an apartment complex backyard pool uh years ago in Vegas and the cops showed up and you could tell they're coming in hot yeah and someone was gonna get around someone's gonna get arrested yeah and then they recognized me it took a few photos and like yeah you guys got to leave yeah same same here same might want a photo or two but I still got to go you still got to go and We're Not Gonna Take You downtown yeah so that's the privileged life we lead yeah thank God we don't get arrested I get kicked out of the spot we're fighting that's how I do it well I appreciate you coming man yeah man thanks for having me know that life they don't know that right yeah go to sleep with nobody there still trying to trick you know like and then landed and they have nobody to film it yeah that's like skating in the airline that is that's how that was yeah but there's still but you still get that buzz yeah I mean if there's no one like there's no one there's no ear to hear exactly definitely oh wait till I go back to Barcelona oh my God I just just just died at night just hit uh I never knew that the spot had a name it's called Uh naps out here is like this is like in the woods in the middle of the woods and it's I see it on everybody Partners it's a nice little drop oh yeah um yeah I suppose I skated that spot the other day yeah at 50 though 50 to the side of it down and [ __ ] my homies up they did not know I was about to do that you know they thought we was you know they thought it was enough that I was just just actually going down the big drop yeah I was like and I said but they didn't know that I sound wobble I saw in the horrible thing that they skate that's fine and he he uh somebody in the spot he just tail slid it all the way down oh right right yeah that's like the BAM move yeah I was
