The girls in the thumbnail really don't look that similar, I feel like even the producers knew it so they had them wear the same clothing.
The conclusion (10 min from the end of the video): itβs more or less coincidental
Those women look nothing alike lmao
i have a identical twin but one day while browsing vine videos i saw a dude in a skit who looked like ME, same hair length and style, same Hight and body build and an uncanny facial resemblance, when my twin saw him he said he looked like ME and not himself. this guy looked more like me than my identical twin, when i showed my mother she asked why i was in the video even after i told her that was not me.
This series feels so pop sci to the point where I donβt really understand whether there is value in pointing out that there are unrelated people with similar features. I got recommended one of the videos where they do a dna test and predictably they were not related because phenotype and genotype are two different things as any 8th grader can tell you.
They are twins, look at their clothes !
;)
Back in the 80s, I shared an office cubical with a guy who looked just like me. We were also the same age, had the same entry-level office job, both went to Big Ten schools, and a bunch of other similarities too. Almost everyone in the department thought we were the same person, and I just started responding when people called me by his name. It was freaky.
The strangest thing was... the boss hated that guy, but I was his favorite. It made absolutely no sense at all, but he eventually drove my doppelganger out of the department while I got a big promotion. Crazy.
I watched it over the weekend, its pretty good, but kinda falls flat. I think if it were edited down by like 10-15 minutes it would have been much better paced. Alternatively, they could've taken more time and gotten into the actual science behind it all.
I immediately assumed this was a clip about prison.
