Do THIS before the Xbox 360 is GONE FOREVER...

so the year is 2024 and the Xbox 360 store is shutting down soon but there are still some great things you can do on your 360 so in this video we're going to explore the 360 store a bit we're also going to buy some games we're going to buy some other stuff as well and then we're going to go over some big news that came out today about the 360 that'll benefit the owners uh before it shuts down let's go ahead and just get into it start exploring and actually have my personal 360 here that we'll use today I've had it since 09 never opened it never cleaned it a tad and it's still running great I just kind of want to keep it that way at this point but you can see I am signed in here and scrolling over we can go to the market place and uh it's still got the same interface that it's had since probably 2018 2019 with fors of Horizon 2 GTA 5 and MW3 um and of course you can still buy some games here there actually have been some games that are already Dlisted U but the big news today is that there's a huge sale on a bunch of games that'll be gone forever and in a couple months let's go ahead and just kind of start browsing through the games take a look at the store and see what kind of shape it's in let's go ahead and just see what pops up under most popular games here and yeah we're going to try to buy some stuff we got Mirror's Edge is the first one that pops up GTA 5 I guess that makes sense but then you got games like this like still 15 bucks I I don't get why they don't just for the last month or two just make these games all like five bucks or something I don't I don't know I mean there's there's probably some good reasons why they don't do that but going through here and actually the first thing I want to buy uh are probably some Avatar stuff and some themes those are those are my favorite like I I just like back in ' 09 2010 that era I just love to to go in here search the Avatar store and just buy some stuff for my for my character honestly I actually don't know if I ever bought anything I got a lot of free stuff um but personally that was I was a huge fan of that on the 360 we still got some it was always like like sponsor stuff like got MLG we got the military collection we got Man of Steel some of the stuff is really old let's go and just search around here um Assassin's Creed you got Avatar bling yo wait hold on got to check this out got some black studs it's actually wild these are still going for this price like $2 for a avatar brace but that's that's it's a bit ridiculous but dude the Cuban link chain all right um let's check it out uh first of all okay wait wait wait so backing up here you can actually take a look at it on your character and my goodness that is it even shines in the light as you turn around side to side that's funny let's buy it I mean why not let's see what the purchase experience is like right now I haven't purchased anything on the 360 store on the actual 360 in ages but I do have a PayPal account I guess already linked here I don't even know if it's an active PayPal account but let's let's try it going up to here to confirm purchase save a hard drive so of course it says please don't turn off your console but I'm curious what would happen if I did turn it off and oh it worked yo let's go and there it is I got my cubic link chain let's go ahead and see if I can pull it up and wear now nice let's go I'm not going to lie that was a very simple process I'm not sure what the process is like these days to add a payment method but it looks like pretty simple I mean I just use my payment method from a decade ago or whatever pretty sick but let's go ahead and keep going through here I'm going to buy something else but I'm not sure what yet I mean look I got a the holiday 2015 shop that this funny you oh you can buy a tree yo see this is this is what I'm going to miss when the store is gone it's just like these little there's so many unique little things you could buy on the 360 store and look at him he's he's decorating the tree that is just dope uh even got Ghost of Christmas future what is this dude Deadpool I mean like this this movie Deadpool came out like a decade ago probably so you just see how old this stuff is Pixar let's go I want some Pixar stuff here we got car yo we got Toy Story stuff yo we got the armyman toys we got the Rex toy pack I'm actually surprised there's not more stuff here oh wait wait we got Buzz Light your toy and the oh the baby head toy from Toy Story 1 that's legendary it's going to sneak up on me right here that's that's awesome I think I got to go with the armyman toys though but $299 is a bit steep but I'm going to buy them anyway but of course no refunds these toys deserve a salute they sure do let's go ahead and buy this and assign it to my avatar sure enough downloads in about 5 Seconds let's go ahead and wear it now nice we got that going on man there's so much stuff I can scroll through here and oh yeah there's my there's my avatar with his his new gold chain my chat that says PS4 is better but I am wondering where where are my Army Men Let Me Go a and see if I can assign my army men cuz they're just they're gone that's messed up there we go there's our props here we got our our armymen I also have this Verizon 4G LTE Avatar prop I I think I got that for free somewhere cuz I definitely did not buy this I also got the oh the connect sports championship trophy that's actually pretty dope I assume I earned that from the game game um here is this is the coolest one the hoverboard Verizon 4G LTE hoverboard I don't know it's pretty sick and then of course a giant foam finger don't know where I got that from but uh by the way I didn't even mention the bunny ears this is just still like a such a throwback let me know down below anybody else have bunny ears for your 360 basically in case you don't know the 360 before the slim you had no built-in Wi-Fi so you had to buy the bunny ears or use ethernet cable which is just like just like a great nostalgic throwback there now let's go ahead and go back to browsing some games here see what else they got advertised so we got most popular of course we've got new releases which there's no new releases so let's let's see what they show here and yeah you still got games for for 20 bucks I mean come on come on guys give me a little discount here like I I would buy some digital games here honestly like I'm like I'm considering just going on here and going on a rampage and buying a ton of digital 360 games just and sticking it on a flash drive just cuz why not and that's a that's something I want to bring up here I think the whole in case you guys didn't know you can actually plug in a flash drive into your 360 and use that as storage uh to store games and play games off of it which I think is a really underrated feature cuz straight up you you guys can buy a 2 tbte flash drive from Amazon for like 130 bucks right now I'll put a link down below plug into your 360 and then download like the entire 360 Library not not quite that much but you can you can get a lot of 360 games on here and let's just go ahead and go over it let me just show you how it works so you basically just take your your your flash drive I have a 128 gigabyte flash drive which will hold a ton of games plug it into your USB port on the front of the back go over to system scroll down to storage and you actually see here I already have a 60 gig hard drive here which is almost uh full I also have the 4 gigs built- in cuz I have a jazer motherboard at some point in time I called it memory is good because memory is indeed good I also have a cloud saved games storage which I didn't even know about uh but here it is here's our flash drive unformatted click on it you press format and make sure of course you don't have anything saved on it that you don't want anymore uh you let it format for however long and you should be good to go pretty unrated feature I think there but next up let me go ahead and pull up my computer and kind of go over some of these games that I talked about earlier that are on sale there's a from this website called trueachievements.com I'll put a link down below um there's over 60 backward non-b backwards compatible games so basically in a couple months you'll never be able to play these games again from the Xbox One or series X so it's a great time to go and download these games if you want to they're on sale there's a lot of them for a dollar or less uh even though it's expensive ones are like $8 but let's just go and go through this list here and I'm going to go over onto my 360 and then buy a couple and scrolling down you got even got links to basically the games here so alien rage alone in the dark just a ton of just various Games Far Cry 4 even like you know bigname games um Just Dance 2015 through 2019 uh surprisingly those are the most expensive games like $8 which is kind of funny um actually the most expensive game here is power up Heroes for $10 which tons of games here you can see some are like 99 Cents 69 cents nice uh we also got uh just yeah just just a various random games we got Watch Dogs which is funny let me just go ahead and actually search for that on the store here and see if that pops up all right guys let's go we got the got the game changer right now the Xbox 360 chat pad that you plug into the bottom Cas you didn't see this controller is was pretty crazy got a ghost mod and everything it's going to be in a video coming out later this week so make sure to check that out I got one of the coolest custom 360s I've ever seen so got to check that out let's go and make sure see if this works there we go let's go I actually I never used this back in the day but I can just imagine using this and going going mad on your controller uh after you play you know you lose somebody in COD and you want to talk trash to them in the chat so you go on here and you're like there we go all right so it says purchase for 3.99 does that match up with this and yes it is $3.99 I'm going to go ahead and buy it four bucks you know was actually one of my favorite games a decade ago and just as easy as the Avatar stuff it pretty much immediately starts downloading here I wonder if I can uh yeah okay so it automatically goes to USB storage device CU I have the most storage there and I don't have enough space on my hard drive so that's that's kind of cool and yeah while that's downloading I want to pop back over here to my laptop and you can see just like the other games you can buy Tomb Raider Tomb Raider uh Trials Fusion I love I used to play Tri HD on my 360 all the time uh snipers Sniper Ghost Warrior just a bunch of various games I'm not really sure how they picked these games they just randomly went on sale not even sure if Microsoft announced them or if they just somebody just figured it out um but there's also somebody made this list I haven't verified it so I don't know if it's 100% accurate but I would assume it's probably pretty close uh we got these they call it digital only 360 games launched into the sun in 2024 so basically these are digital only games that will be gone off the marketplace and the ones in bold are ones that are exclusive to the 360 so basically once they're gone they're just gone forever unless somebody has preserved them somewhere um the one that's that's kind of interesting and it's kind of sad to me is the connect stuff I actually back in you know 2010 I love the connect like I I was a huge fan of it when it first came out it's just kind of fun to uh bounce around your living room and just play random games of course the the novelty wor off over time and it got worse they add it on the Xbox one and it was bad but I loved it at first and there's just a bunch of just various games here NFL Blitz instead play more basketball 09 that's really random and then yeah the ones in bold like I said are ones that'll be gone just forever because they're not on the 360 anymore so I'd love to see somebody go here and buy every single one of these games of course you're going to spend a fortune because some of them are just not not very cheap so it won't be me whatever let's go back to the main menu I also want to check out themes cuz you can apparently buy themes I don't know if I actually ever bought one but uh let's check it out all right so themes here and the what is this she got a million different anime dynamic themes got the Cadillac theme the Nissan Sky oh that's pretty cool what there's 2,000 different themes this is ridiculous let me go and see if I can find something interesting o o Finding Dory theme o actually let me check that out oh it's free yo let's go I like free stuff all right so I just downloaded the Finding Dory theme got it here and I I did not realize I had this many other themes we have an LG monitors theme a KSC theme Mazda theme when did I get these and where did I get these I don't remember these at all but apparently I had a ton of themes uh Pizza Hut theme yo that's that's kind of cool Pepsi theme wait I do remember this theme so for a while I actually had that little pumpkin in the quarter I had that as my profile picture which is was pretty sick uh The Dark Knight theme you know that's old cuz that's from like ' 08 the Eagle what is the eagle I don't know what that is let's go and try out the uh the one I just downloaded Finding Dory theme pack see what it looks like all right so it's straight up just a I guess just a background I honestly don't remember themes on the 360 that well so I don't know if there's anything else that customized but yeah it's just a it's just a background change which is kind of cool and of course I have some other random games already downloaded here here we go all right I found the the cheapest game on that list which is 69 cents which is really random but uh I think I'm going to buy this let me just go and see how large it is okay it's 2.86 I want to find something a little bit smaller so I actually ended up downloading this other game called rasic that was 99 Cents instead of 69 cents four out of five stars arcade game uh 200 megabytes let's go Ahad and try to play it and see how it runs and by the way this did download to the flash drive without an issue I'm also curious if we can unplug unplug the internet should work just fine I mean it's an offline game all these games are offline for the most part and sure enough there it goes and then you can select your storage device for where you want to save it to and oh yeah let's go dude I I let me know down below if were the same but I used to play so many 360 arcade games like I don't know why I just I just did I loved them oh you like swing around these little balls right here oh okay it's actually a fun little game but anyways guys there it is there's your uh exploration of the 360 store couple months before it closes we'll do this again right when it's about to close and then maybe after it closes I don't know see what it's like but of course go check these games out uh guys check out the sale I'll put the links
