DIY wall bed for under $150

okay this is a key from your modern family and we're just showing you how the wall bed works so first I'm going to show you that the hinges down here or what holds it together and this is gonna make it a little heavier to hold but it's a lot less expensive than if you would buy the kit so this is how you fold it up and this is where we keep all of the pillows that would normally go in the bed they just fit right back here behind the bed so when I'm done I just throw them down there so there's there's a lot of room I have some extra blankets and pillows and everything down there and then this is how we fold it up you can tell them okay this door is hinged it opens so they don't hide the top of the bed it's just a simple furring strip with one screw all this does is hold this open temporarily while you close the vent then take off 50 they write all this stuff I don't know I'm like folded out my husband or dad they just throw everything back there and then the same thing with the sheets you can you can leave the sheets on really we'll probably leave the bottom one on but you can take the top one off and just wash it or throw it back there you can just throw it inside somewhere and then I just yeah I think and then I just before someone comes just put on new sheets cuz usually if my in-laws could stay here but it could be a month before they come next and so it's just change the sheet so then these fold up on the sides these or just have one screw through so that the lace fall down when you let it die and you put a lock with your daughter push it up and then we make pins to put in just took some hardware all thread or a long bolt and we drill this through and that's it we put one on both sides for safety we didn't need to but we have to just in case same thing all through it just swing these little doors back in or use a stick to move them in that's it now you have all the room to use alright that's how you do a wall bed
