DIY Gold Glitter Metallic Epoxy Floor Application | Xtreme Polishing Systems

hi this is Chris Lavin from extreme polishing systems and we are here today in Pompano Beach Florida at Jeannie land which I'm sure a lot of you are gonna want to come down and attend and visit because it's a fascinating place that has the best machinery in the world to do floor prep polishing as well as many other things that machine will do that's why we call the gene anyways what we're going to be doing today upstairs here which is going to be my smoking lounge for my cigars so after a long day's work I like to drink good juices you know I just won't find cigars so who we are going to be doing a glitter floor cuz I love the color gold and we're gonna be doing gold glitter so we're gonna teach you today how to do a gold glitter floor with the assistance of dr. Ginny dr. Freddie dr. Robert and mr. Dan's gonna be with us tomorrow and he's gonna be the ones to be putting down the the gold glitter epoxy basically we have about seven art square feet here and the key to any of our metallic floor systems or glitter floor systems that we installed is that you have to put a black base coat down okay so what we have here is we have our product okay we have it's a two-part resin one part hardener product okay and then come in individual gallons they come in a three gallon kit okay now the three gallon kits gonna cost you $150 and then we have these little color packs which is right here and this is the color paints this is the base for 70 okay and this is black all right so we're gonna do is we're gonna mix up two of these today in our three gallons of a and our gallon and a half of B for exactly two minutes okay so we're gonna put that in and we'll help at dr. Jimmy okay now you're gonna have approximately a 40-minute pot life with this product I take the gallon and a half of the partner Mary for that it [Music] you want more of these colors here good half [Music] our caller please one more caller empty no we're good just one more are you gonna start to make some smoke it mixes totally 100 you go ahead slowly makes it [Music] ok so now we've done and mix it now for 2 minutes of may and I have 40 min Paula okay so we're gonna do is we're gonna take this out and Jimmy's gonna put on his spiked shoes over here [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] approximate right now about preparation of the course okay because this for here we've done has been a we ground the floor first we put a boxing base on and we did sand broadcast cuz we were gonna do a self-leveling concrete over and we've changed it now this is a glitter floor since I fell in love with the glitter floors so this product is when it really gets sucked up by the sand so we're gonna go through a lot more product here than what you would normally do on a Raider concrete because normally for and Afghans would cover seven or square feet of concrete but obviously it's covered about maybe 250 square feet so we brought some more product up here and we're going to continue the process enjoyed show [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] good morning [Music] all right now we've already gone and done our first initial crime code for our glitter for that we're doing here at the top part of Jeannie land okay which rides in the pan down here and shoot the floor - everybody okay - so you can see what we've done and we've just gone an extra step here and we've done some crack preparation so that when we put the glitter pour down that all those cracks will disappear so this floor right now has a epoxy coating on it with sand broadcast because we're going to put a three-eighths topcoat on it you reverse that because I saw the glitter for that we did down in Miami and I had added winter floor and I was like a big thing for me I got Ken here from total flooring solutions I've been not like to the floor Brooks villages because if I in furnace or angel okay and you put it down here how long ago 10 years ago okay and how long would you come down to the extreme policies I have a deal for three years for four years okay you're the proud owner in a couple of our jeans what's the overall performance is the Machine awesome awesome we're happy to have you here today and you just many in the gold litter for what else would you like to tell me if I open it maybe watching this video right now about your experience with extreme if you're looking for a company that's going to take care of you every time you call including Sundays I have called this place and gotten answers from people this is the guy where your sales rep rep is Keith Lee yes sir thanks for coming by anytime all right good all right here we got a crew here this is everybody's here for the our first epoxy seminar which will be having these every three months we have Dan the man movin right here who's going to be installing our glitter floor as I promised it when you would so Dan what do you have to see how gold in the floors beautiful beautiful and you're gonna have a cigar up here when we have our first cigar all right okay the gold glitter were to be mixing what's the pound ratio roughly there's three pounds was basically up top again pelvis okay so we're into our mix just like we did next door we're putting two parts resin one part hardener and we're doing three gallon three gallon buckets at a time yes okay so we're ready to go [Music] [Music] but American one of those exactly that's right that's pieces 16 ounces [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] that's good [Music] Oh [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] what [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so anyways this is not our final P seconds we're into another coat of silver of the gold glitter on top of this one so we have full coverage where it's still watched and roll this thing out okay and we're going to come back here tomorrow and and put another coat down to make sure we have a hundred percent full coverage on this board this is going to be my cigar room okay and I demand a very fine cigar and smoke my cigars nice thanks for joining you our 100% solid epoxy today applied with gold glitter now the glitter comes in multiple tubes of colors you can pick purple glitter black glitter bronze glitter green glitter there's like 12 to 15 different colors of glitter that you can choose and basically I want to take you through the whole process again that we did this for was originally a very cracked up second floor concrete floor that we ground and had tons of cracks in it we repaired all the cracks we then put down an epoxy broadcast base and we broadcasted with sand so they would give the floor more rigidity and be able to take up some of the movement that that's still in this war we then put down a black epoxy as a primer and on the 7-iron square feet we use probably 50 square feet per gallon these 13 gallons to put down as our primer coat which is a black and then what we as we came with one coat using 8 gallons of our clear broadcast with 16 ounces one pound of gold glitter per gallon so we used 8 pounds of gold glitter in this floor and we of course use the squeegee and squeegee down the floor and got this unique result which we happen to like a lot here actually polishing systems because it has our gold color or yellow color and black if you want to do another coat of Gold which I have recommend if you want to see a full gold but dear here you see you know you can see the black you're saying with the gold gives it kind of a nice texture I'm a three-dimensional look and this is going to be the cigar lounge at genie land so once again subscribe to our channel down below coming see arts through XE and polishing systems comm on our website or Facebook us ok my name is Chris Lavin and I wish all you guys a great day you
