hey guys welcome back to my channel and if you are new here thank you for clicking on the video if you haven't already please subscribe today i am going to reveal my backyard i'm so excited for this video i did this project like a month ago but i've been so busy i haven't had time to like edit or anything so i won't bore you guys with a long introduction we'll get straight into the video and i just want to add to you if you haven't already seen my patio tour please go take a look at that it's awesome and i have many more videos to come bye alright guys so as you can see i currently have a chain metal fence which is okay however i just wanted something that looked a little bit better and gave me more privacy i didn't want to pay someone to come and install a wood fence because i don't plan on living here that long so i thought that this was a good temporary solution so this fence came from home depot it was 79 and it's a bamboo fence and it's six feet tall and eight feet long and i think for this project i needed about five and a half rolls and i thought that this made a huge difference it even looks better from the street so i love it and what i'm doing right now is i'm just attaching it to my current metal fence with zip ties and this is a good solution um because the zip ties is made of plastic and you don't have to worry about you know it going anywhere and it can last for years so what you guys see in my hand right now is a bolt cutter and i'm just using that to cut the wire that the bamboo sticks are attached to i'm just trying to measure the bamboo fence to the end of the existing metal fence so that way it's not overlapping i'm doing now is just using the wire pliers to bend the wire so that way the bamboo sticks don't come unraveled so right here i have a four pack of led solar deck lights from menards it was 24.99 although it was meant for the deck i needed it because it has a flat surface and i'm just using a zip tie and attaching it to the bamboo fence so since i've already did the hard part with digging up the grass and just using this metal way to even out the surface before i decide to put my plastic down [Music] [Music] [Music] so here i have some plastic sheeting and some roofing nails and the roofing nails i'm not sure how much they were for the bucket because the previous owners of this house left it here however the plastic sheet was from home depot the a roll and i needed two to complete this project so the plastic sheets are a great alternative instead of buying the wheat blocker shading because if you know how expensive those are you know that they can run you fifty dollars and up just for a small space i know that this plastic sheeting works because i used it two years ago when i outlined my driveway i dug up the grass and i put down rocks instead and i have not had any problems with weed or grass growing so this is a great option if you want to save a lot of money [Music] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] i will never hurt you [Music] i is never so here i'm just adding some white beach pebble rocks to the mulch because i thought it made it pop and this was less than ten dollars a bag at home depot so this is my lovely fiance victor i needed his help hanging this pendant light from the tree this light came from target and it's solar power it was a hundred dollars and i thought that this was a great option if you don't want to use any electricity so these two wicker chairs came from walmart they were three hundred dollars a piece which i thought were pretty expensive but compared to target which is five hundred dollars a piece it seems like walmart is the best place the only thing that i don't like about this chair is that the cushion covers don't come off so it makes it harder to clean but other than that it's really comfortable so the white fold up table and the tray that you guys see in the middle both came from target they were 29.99 each and i just have two candles which i got from dollar tree and a tiki toy that came from target it was 5.99 i got this artificial plant from target as well it was originally a hundred thirty dollars and i got it on clearance for ninety dollars i got this really cute cloth dream catcher from marshalls it was forty dollars and i love it because it just gives this area a bohemian vibe so now i'm just adding some solar power fairy lights around the tree these came from amazon seventeen dollars each for a two pack and it has eight different settings on there and they're 33 feet long i got this really cute three piece set from home goods it was 140 dollars [Music] guys i'm so excited the space is finally done so now i can sit back and relax [Music] i try to make you understand this isn't how it's meant to be [Music] i [Music] maybe [Music] losing consciousness can't wake [Music] so here's a quick look of my patio if you haven't seen that video already please go take a look at it i completely redid the space as well [Music] i'm [Music] please don't forget to like comment and [Music] subscribe
