DIY|Small Patio Transformation|Decorate with Me

[Music] hi guys welcome back to my channel i hope you guys are having an amazing day i hope your week has been off to an amazing start and i hope you all are in good health so today you guys today i'll be working outside in my yard i'm going to be refreshing my pad making over my small patio in my backyard area so i'm going to take you guys along with me as i decorate and style that area so i and watching another video okay guys so let's get started so this is an overview of my patio area it's very small space it's not big at all but i definitely wanted to give it a refresh so i got these enviro tiles i think they're called i'll try to have them linked down in the description box below but i picked them up from um home depot they're just kind of like some rubber masks this is really good for if your patio is stained or damaged and you don't um like the look of it so i'm using this to cover my um patio because it has a lot of old stains on it it has a lot of mortar stains and things like that when they put in our floors years ago so i just thought that these would be perfect just to kind of give it elevate the space and cover up those nasty stains so these little towels i think they were ten dollars yeah i think they were ten dollars each for the larger ones they do have a smaller size two that i think were like four dollars each so they're just like a rubber mat almost kind of like that material that you see on the playground with the kids so it's very soft on your feet so i think this would be a really good option and i think my patio is a 10 by 10 i'm not sure but i know i ended up using at least 25 or 30 tiles just to cover this space and then not all of the towels um the towels fit snuggly but when you get to the end my husband did have to cut the uh rubber towel just so it can kind of fit perfectly to the time on patio own to figure out what i want this baby right now i don't know feels like i'm writing solo you got me thinking about what all of a problem i need some time on my own to figure out what i want [Music] okay guys so this is the final look you guys of adding the tiles i think they turned out perfectly like i said i'll have the information linked in the description box below they do have it in a different color like gray and i think they have a pretty red brick color as well so now i'm just going to go ahead and add my furniture or my patio furniture this egg chair was gifted to me by a company called magic home they sell different furniture pieces they have coffee tables and nesting tables things like that so she sent me out this egg chair for my patio i think it is a really good option it's very comfortable you guys i thought when i got in this chair it's very soft the cushions are made of really good quality it is weather resistant and fade resistant so that um it'll be able to last you a long time it's absolutely super comfortable super comfortable you guys so it makes a great addition to my patio so i'll have all her information linked down in the description box below and to protect all my fabric all of my patio furniture i always like to go in with this scotchgard water repellent it just keeps your uh your furniture protected from the elements outside and it also keeps the color of the fabric looking good so this is the next day have you seen that previous clip that ignored that rug i ended up taking that rug back to home depot and i have a new rug that i'm going to add to this space so i wanted to add a lot of greenery on my patio i definitely wanted to bring in nature so i love to i love to garden i love to add different plants and things around my house as well in my backyard and things like that so i decided to add some greenery to my patio as well so i got the inspiration for these three these are two blue jupiter trees i'm gonna plant in these containers these containers i got from target i actually have a shopping haul displaying these containers so you guys will get that video sometime next week but these treats are so gorgeous you guys i went inside target one day and they had the fake blue jupiter trees there on display and they wanted like a hundred dollars a tree so i definitely was not paying that for a fake tree so i just think that outdoors you just really need to bring in a lot of live plants i decided to get these trees i picked these up from home depot and they were like 19.99 each and like i said the the containers i got from target and i believe they were 60 for the larger ones then they also have two other sizes they have a medium one that's like 30 and they have a smaller one i think it's like fourteen dollars [Music] me and all the red lights okay guys i went ahead and added my other plants too that i planted i'll go over these plants at the end of the video when i um do like a little tour of the patio space but i went ahead and added my other additional plants that you would see in this clip and also i have some stream lights up there but i need to get another one so i ran out so i definitely am going to go ahead and add another set of string lights to that left side of the patio but this is the next day so i'm just taking my little blower and just blowing any excess dirt off of the patio before i go ahead and start decorating so i got this rug here from target it's a 7 by 10 it's by project 62. so i'll have um the link listed down in my description box below but i just thought that this was this has a lot of creams and browns it has a little bit of gray in there so i definitely have all the color schemes that i'm going off that i have going on in this patio and i thought that this rug would brighten up the space a whole lot more so that's why i ended up exchanging the one from home depot and getting this [Music] we keep so now that i got my rug down i'm to go ahead and protect it with some of the same stuff that i sprayed on my patio furniture i have this rug and carpet protector that's by scottish garden also has that water repellent heavy duty spray by scotch guard as well you definitely want to make sure you protect your furniture out here even though this stuff is weather resistant and this is made for the outdoors but you always want your stuff to last a little bit longer so i always try to make sure i go and take the extra steps to protect it and then these items you can find the the weather resistance spray and then that carpet uh stain resistant spray from scotchgard you can get both of those at home depot you can also get it at walmart so now i'm just gonna go ahead and add the rest of my patio furniture so i have a five piece set i have this um it has it comes with a sofa two chairs and then a coffee table so this is by the brand hampton bay so i am gonna just go in with this multi-purpose spray that method is in great descent grapefruit it smells amazing i'm just gonna use this to wipe down the furniture because it has a lot of dirt and a lot of um pollen and stuff that's on there as well [Music] there's no passion in the comatose baby going down down down baby going down down down down down tried so hard to stay afloat we keep moving like the river goes baby going down down down baby going down down down down [Music] [Music] i'm thinking you want me for me it's my [Music] so okay you guys i'm just going ahead and attaching all of the cushions and everything to the furniture i absolutely love this set these cushions are very thick and very durable and they're very very comfortable we have been out here ever since we have put this together for at least a few weeks now we are loving all the pieces that are out here [Music] breakfast with my bedroom [Music] [Music] [Music] so now i'm just going to go ahead and add a few decorative pillows this pillow here i got from home goods it actually came in a set of two for 16 or 16.99 and then i'm gonna add this little small pillow here that i got from target i love the texture on this little small pillow i thought it'd be perfect for this little sofa here so like i said i'm just going to go ahead again and add some more of that scotchgard on there just to protect the pillows from the elements [Music] so i want to go ahead and add a little bit of glam to my patio so i decided to bring out these lanterns i got these lanterns a while ago from z gallery they just been sitting in a corner in my living room so i thought they'd be perfect out here on the patio so i'm just giving them a good wipe down to make sure everything is clean and then i just have some candles in there but i probably won't like they're just for decorating purposes only but yeah but these are definitely not waterproof so i definitely probably have to bring it in the house once it starts raining or anything like that i'm just going to set it next to that sofa there [Music] okay you guys so now i'm just going to go ahead and add a little bit of decor to my coffee table and all i'm going to do is just add this live plant the container came from target the plant i got from home depot but this is an overview of the patio space i love how everything has turned out [Music] this is a tree i absolutely love this tree it's a hibiscus tree and she just gives off these beautiful purple beautiful pink flowers really pretty and then this tree this plant here i'll always forget the name but i'll have her linked across the screen she just gives off really beautiful hot pink flowers as well then i have an azalea bush over here which i absolutely love the foliage and the flowers that's on this as well and then this is a micro mini plant or of the larger uh plan i just showed you but she just has red flowers instead so these containers here came from target that little white one and then this little black one they both came from target and then this gray and white planter i got this from home goods last year i believe and then that other brown container i got up or planter i got that one from the at home store [Music] so this is the overview of my patio you guys i'm really happy with how it turned out it's a very comfortable space and that's what the look and the vibe that i was going for just a nice cozy comfortable space that i can enjoy outdoors so i hope you guys enjoyed this video i hope it brought you some home decor inspiration and gave you some motivation protecting your own patio
