DID WE JUST GET IN OVER OUR HEADS?!?! - It Needs To Be Done By Tomorrow!

all right so we might have just got ourselves into a bit of a predicament we went and looked at a job earlier and bid it accordingly the guy turned around and accepted it under one term it has to be done by tomorrow so it is one o'clock the day before we have to do a huge trash out and we're totally unprepared stay tuned to see how this turns out because this could be bad alright what's up guys good morning the parents having a good day so far we are it's pretty early still it's before 9:00 I think which isn't that early but I just wanted to show you guys these are the two basketballs of the Sunoco basketballs that we finally sold I think 420 and we just sold this Slipknot t-shirt on eBay for nine $29.99 so that was a really cool t-shirt I think I paid five for it but it's one of the cooler shirts we've ever got we sold this little guy on eBay someone wanted just the pink one because we had him up as a set so we really posted that that's just a set and I think we put it up for $20 free shipping so made around 12 it's gonna be a little the ship coz it's gonna have to be wrapped pretty fragile and then this little dreamer we sold for $9 I took a best offer this is from the storage unit Donkey Kong Country 2 so moving out just put the storage episode out last night and already got flooded with messages about stuff people want to buy so without even really posting anything although I did post a bunch of items on eBay we're gonna probably make our money back or most of it just from people seeing it on the YouTube video and then and picking items they want to buy because we had an offer for 150 just for the old photographs that we found which was kind of a plus because I knew they were cool and I knew they're valuable but I didn't know that anyone was going to be right away willing to buy them little plus there today we are going over to my grandmother's house in Long port and we're going to be planning some little trees for her and her husband and they gal she recently broke her leg in three places that's not why we're playing it but they need some help over there and we're gonna help them out because it's the right thing to do so we got to get dirt out of the yard put it in buckets and bring it over so that because there's like a hole in their yard either way you guys will see that's what we're doing and then we're looking at another job a small clean-out in Margate which is the city next to that so hopefully we can just knock out both of those like in the same session good morning sweetheart what's the big surprise today it's and MJ birthday they're turning two today so I'm pretty sad about that case you don't even need it happy birthday to you so we get really crazy about our kids our babies and really exciting about their birthday so judge us if you want but we love them more than anything so we've been waiting patiently for their birthday to come around because last year we kind of like forgotten a lot going on this year we still have a lot going on but we've gotten better at semi prioritising so about to go get a yard sale permit tip for this Saturday yeah so gonna try and sell all the items from the unit that aren't good to post online or a too big or bulkier we have a lot of merchandise that we're gonna try and sell and the pup pup but you're gonna wait till we get back from working cuz you just gotta wait that's that's like don't start with me really all right so we have some buckets more than this product and I put some dirt back here before to get rid of it just like that pile right there and I'm gonna put it in these buckets and then we're gonna bring it over to my grandmom's house and try and fill in the area that she needs filled in with the dirt that's back here so that's the plan alright so we have three buckets of dirt a rake kind of shovel hopefully these dirt is enough but this is all we had in the yard leftover extra so it's better than nothing you want to help with that alright we'll pull over here I would do especially around here in Somers Point oh my gosh yeah people are well know about that yeah we'll just stick it in there and then drop it off there yeah of course good I'm gonna get too political cuz it just is what it is my life's really good in this country so I truly believe it i concider this country in the world I'm exactly I want to keep it that way yeah but we'll meet you over there alright I cope but this was so sad that people were beeping at this guy and he clearly can't walk very well and he was trying to bring a chair and off his chair all the way from the trash and the other part of Somers Point to where he lives so we pulled over and helped them and people were just beeping at us because we were trying to help someone has just sent me it really really makes me upset because that could be any one of us or anyone yeah anyone's dad anyone's uncle any much grandfather yeah that could be one of us when we're older you never know so like I would never and I would never want somebody to treat my dad or any one of my family members like that so it was just a pump or a mic yeah I mean my grandfather's deceased but I just I don't know it just breaks my heart that that person was beeping at him like that he was rolling a chair like a god down the street in his little like Rolly thing whatever you call those remote control things like and somebody had the nerve to beep at him instead of pulling over and helping him like I don't understand thank you someone that needs help feel like assistance like it's just crazy like our society everybody's in such a rush to like this is it Duke what but this is like a lot of street it's not the fence is where I came down like not if they knock the fence down he's coming he's coming he's coming in hot that thing goes fast Bob needs one of those things she does he really needs one of those things though they're not that I guess they are really expensive and they're not that's a cruising yeah I'm like 14 miles an hour legit so yeah I just wanted to say that cuz if you ever feel cuz I'm a really impatient person that's something that I have to like work on within myself but if you can just take a step back when you're in a situation like that and just take a breather and put yourself in that guy's position I'm not very religious but like they say that could be Jesus Christ gold those will be those who than that actually but like the Front's and the whole sides in the whole house of like 200 homes in one for once or one job for Benson homes and ruto brothers whose heavy heart so where do you want to for him before and a few other things and he wants us to come look at the contents of a house I believe could be it could be a condo but I think it's a house and see what we can do to get rid of this stuff if he wants to pass or we can try and just sell the stuff let's sit hey how's it going all right yeah yeah their realtor got a bunch of trash like this pretty much is this what you do yeah everything up here could go with the exception of the plants and this is the neighbor the lady I bought her from this bin here okay and we got bunch of stuff inside that could go outside so what is it this everything up hearing all these chair aunts and this thing so the furniture and everything to everything that's moved okay and then what on the inside not it not everything or everything not everything okay the bar that's this table okay like the bloody bike this couch keep the stage keep this keep this table I'll be giving chair for now what about the yeah all right that's a okay able to take you upstairs and show so the table on this floor of these three things of Kappa fours this probably goes these two yeah okay so how long and how do you want to go about getting rid of the stuff does it have to be a certain date or not because what I like to do for people is try to sell some of the stuff basically on like Craigslist and then make the price cheaper for them because like if I was to charge you for everything being trash the price would be much higher but if you guys like give me access for like a little bit to try and get rid of this stuff I don't know when does it need to be gone well is it a hairy but not like says everything's being driven when the painter can come in so we can get a painting on here and they just trash up get it out right away okay the guys a few weeks out that we may have a few weeks out okay yeah so that's up to you guys really because I can just give you a price for everything and obviously you don't have to accept it you can yeah I'd give the lowest yeah this one take the dusk oh these are just that not leave one let's take the desk in one mirror okay and the chair leave that in the trash okay okay okay put that down there [Music] all right is that your bag that's cool all right so we looked at the job it's pretty massive we bid it I think really fair and he said he's gonna let us know and I gave him options I told him if I was you I would put all this stuff out on a curb alert or just start posting it to Craigslist and offer up for free but I don't know how much time he has or if he's even capable of dealing with that I think he just wants it gone so he can rent the place and that makes sense but at the same time you know he's gonna be spending you know hold at least one month's full rent probably just to get rid of this stuff if he pays to dump it off which is in my opinion absolutely crazy because everything in there is useable to someone and this is a really good place that we're in right now where people are always in need of furniture because they're always moving in and out of places even like Stockton colleges right up the street I'm sure people are looking for free stuff for their dorms and stuff like that so I don't know every situation is different so I can't say but from personal experience but hopefully we get the job if not we did it like we had to so the dream all right so we might have just be bad alright so we just got the job it's been accepted and [Music] basically we're not ready at all we haven't done clean-out in a couple months and the trailer that we're gonna need the use we're gonna do a lot of donations from this job but the trailer that we need to use is filled with scrap for the most part we've never drove with our new truck with the trailer at all we need to dump the scrap even though it's not a full load to have the trailer ready for tomorrow and we need to get a dumpster and two guys at least one other guy to do the job so we have to rush basically we might have gotten ourselves into a bit of a predicament here but it's not over until I win I said all the time and I feel confident that they that even in the short notice that we have from now until tomorrow night that we will be able to complete and accomplish this job and get it done so let's see what happens I guess just stay tuned and see the event as people say every likes a trainwreck they can't look away they don't want to watch but they can't look away kind of a situation like that where I don't know it's probably gonna go much more slowly I'm probably getting really dramatic right now and it's going to go really smoothly but it could just go terrible either way we're gonna try and get this done I got to move this car out of the yard back this up put the hitch on the back here pull the trailer out put the rest of this crap in the trailer and then take that to the yard then we should be good on that end all right first challenge is getting this trailer around the truck that's parked right there and dead it's good that's perfect but everything else it's the trailer now and ever right this Fabio bro what was the trailer it wasn't as close as we thought [Music] that things caught and then the VCRs and stuff some of these some of the stuff were thrown in here was meant to be sold or used for projects but sometimes you just got a cup beat and just know when you're beat the Horde can't go on forever not stuff that just sits dumb and I will grace her tonight themselves differently in certain times a year certain people certain places so like I'm sure a lot of people have sold items that were thrown out but yeah without doing the job at all just prepping for it we already almost just got hit by that huge tow truck he's just trying to pull in the middle of the road when it's clearly not it's time to go brew it all around here well here we are back at the scrapyard after not being here for two months it's popping today Friday payday at the scrap life dude stags and packs his truck fit he did circuits touching the ground I was like someone's granddaddy yeah this he is so heavy he does so like I probably doesn't look that crazy on the phone but there's a lot of freaking strap in there I'm just gonna let's just wanna put the gates up try that then try that thing back this should be just crazy every crazier and crazier every day [Music] what's up Earl how are you [Music] [Applause] all this what's up won't be that much this was a rush job so not bad how much 40 to kick 770 pounds all right so slowly getting everything in order we got the child are emptied and good to go just put air in the tires of the truck because they were a little flat a little low and posted a basically a 1 ad on Facebook and I think we already have one guy for tomorrow I'm looking to get 2 so we can get the whole job done in one day and that's it so hopefully it all works out but definitely sprung on us and we're gonna just do our best to get it done and that's the best we can do is our best and I do believe we will get it done and if not it might run into Saturday morning a little bit but probably not also it is our baby's birthday so we just got them some snacks and they have some toys that they don't know about yet that we're gonna give to him we're gonna celebrate two years two years old little baby boy happy birthday son he knows this isn't the main guy because we today doing it tomorrow probably the fastest turnover we ever did and we are excited about it we figured out basically that posted to Instagram and Facebook a little mini description I could just read it to you guys cuz it's kind of cool how stuff works I posted on my Instagram story and all my facebook and I basically just put need two guys to work tomorrow in ventnor city in New Jersey from 8 a.m. until the job's finished heavy lifting manual labor cash paid at the end of the day message me for details I got a few messages so it turns out one of my friends from grade school message me he's looking for work he lives in the area so he's gonna be meeting us there at 8 a.m. and then the special guests are crazy Mike is gonna be meeting us there he's recently had some trouble on his journey his van actually burned up in flames recently if you can watch the video on his channel it's really sad and really crazy that that happened but he's going to be coming out so two people that I know are gonna be good for the job and I also got in contact with a thrift store that picks up donations so they might be coming out to get some of the furniture and to clear out some of the house for us but there's going to be tons of other work on top of that even if they do come but hopefully they do so always look at all your options because if they can dispose of will basically take all the furniture that they want to sell back to their thrift store as donations the owner of the house can get a tax write-off it can save stuff from going in a landfill and it can save us work even if we have to bring it down from the house into the truck that they bring but I just wanted to give you guys an overview of what kind of tools I use for these kind of jobs they're very very basic and almost anyone who does any kind of construction or any kind of handyman stuff would have these laying around at their house so here they are I hope that the audio works okay I'm gonna kind of hold it like this so you can see but I'm bringing just two crowbars a regular just claw hammer a sledge hammer okay I'm gonna get to that in a second a box of got these from Tomlin Bard with mold X face respirator masks and I also might bring a heavier Duty or mask for me and Sammy I'm not sure but these work really well and there wasn't the house isn't that dirty it's not like some of the jobs we've done where there's mold present in every room it's actually just mostly dust and just mildew ish probably not even but I brought a this drill I'm gonna grow which there is electricity at the house so that's a plus sometimes there's not and a solves all that plugs in to be bringing bungees to Bungie down the tarp on top of the trailer and some gloves here that are just disposable ones that can be thrown away we'll just put them in the bugs out here the Nats are getting really crazy it's actually crazy we just saw which considered a fledgling bird bluejay running around in the yard yapping and trying to fly falling over and we saw the mom and dad flying around we didn't know what to do so I looked it up and it says that if it's not a hatchling you're sunk with the one that falls out of the nest that needs to be put back in the nest this one was a fledgling it kind of had feathers it had full on feathers and it's probably trying to learn to fly and trying to find food and stuff on its own worms and stuff on the ground so that was a cool experience but I'm putting these gloves just in here and all that and then real quick a shovel and a rake just in case I don't know what's gonna go on but we might have to rake up debris if we break stuff up and then our friend John Rossi all the way from Ontario Canada he works for a company that makes gloves and he sent us this is the first time opening it a box of gloves that we're gonna be using and these gloves are specific in the way that they don't get cut they're specific to be honest I don't know the term but do look at this so these are Sami gloves those ones for sure the smaller ones so Bob Bob Dale gloves is the company so Wow no way did he hook us up like this this is unreal actually I got to show Sam this she's gonna be in all that this happened hope these you're like it's less because you're like gardening gloves there's ones but these ones are like super heavy-duty claims these are Kevlar these are like unparallel like high level 15 gauge nylon Wow no way look at all these stoking this is like the biggest is it really about the rain right now it's like the biggest come up in history of gloves well Tom Lombard who sent us his man sent us like Wow hundreds of pairs of gloves I still have some we've been going through them over the last year since we got them just every job using them I know we don't use gloves all the time but when we do clean outs we usually always use gloves because it's just a different type of dirt but now that I have all these I'm gonna be using them every day now I didn't realize I thought there's like two pairs ago I was thinking but I thought there was gonna be like two pairs of gloves in here and they're actually turns out that there's 12 1619 pairs of gloves for me and Sammy and is it just straight-up about the poor again but I did want to show you guys the truck so I'll try and do that I'm gonna clean these up real quick and then show you the truck a little better the frecchi alright I'm going to show you guys the rest of the equipment that we use and I will say the number one thing in business that I've learned is the best skill you can have because almost anyone can do it clean out if they're capable of walking and picking up something this size of a couch or an armoire and they're capable of swinging a hammer a lot like it's not a very very high skill level of a job or a career it's more of a persistence type you know mental thing like oh man can I even get through this today but the number one skill that I've learned that works for me is the people skills and dealing with the homeowners or the real estate company or the banks and just always cooperating and the number one thing in your people skills that I've learned works the best is being honest and talking with the person and letting them know look like I'm not Superman I can't do all this it's going to take longer or it's going to be harder than you think you know I'll try and do it for you for the best price so that I'm happy and you're happy but at the same time you know this stuff is back-breaking it costs a lot and sometimes you have to hire more people than you would want to for a job a lot of people understand but some people don't and they think that you can just clean out a whole house in you know a matter of hours and just get rid of this stuff easily which is not the case so I will say I'm a little bit bummed out that we're gonna have to donate or throw out all the stuff pretty much every single thing in the house because we have no time and no room to store any of the stuff and pretty much the guy said it has to be gone tomorrow because of the price that we agreed on so this is what I used to charge the battery for the trailer and we have been out of the trash out game or business for a little bit we've been like gearing our business towards other things we markets buying stuff from yard sales and reselling it and just making videos of different types of things but that's only because we changed our whole business plan and started bidding the jobs much higher than we did factoring in other aspects that we didn't before which made the jobs more expensive and for all the bank jobs that we used to get are now our bids our outfit every time and we haven't even gotten a bid in like a month because our prices have become so high that the bank is just using someone else at this point and that's just because we can't do it for dirt cheap anymore our health and other factors have come into play including just the mere fact that it's expensive more expensive basically the bank would charge if another person that bids for the bank would charge half of what we're doing this job tomorrow for and still get it done and they'd probably walk away probably breaking even I don't even know if they'd make money but I guess it's quantity over quality for them because they outbid us on almost every job we've ever bid against them on by hundreds not even know it wasn't even close but this is the charger I use it's from Home Depot it's a battery ex tender with a big X not really sure if it's a great call you want but it's worked for us I know there's other ways to trickle charge or to keep your battery charged but this has been the way we've done it since the beginning and we're just gonna continue to use this for now and also I spent about $5,000 I actually bought this outright this trailer but it was the best investment I ever made and one thing stuck in my head it was from this guy led Braun who does limit evasion of speeches he said it's better to be prepared and not have an opportunity than have an opportunity and not be prepared so I was thinking if I buy the trailer I'll be prepared and it's made us a ton of money scrap and otherwise over the past two years it's an invaluable resource to have a trailer like this and the hydraulics totally fully work still on it so it's a 12 by 12 by 7 I think and I built up the walls I should have gotten the one with the bigger walls to begin with but I built up the walls it's to axle so it has four wheels just in case wall goes flat our friend Bert fixed the gates because I pretty much ruined the gates after like 12 dumps because I kept leaving them unhinged which you live you learn and it's a big boy it's a nice one and that's the trampoline tarp that I've been using and I pretty much just strap that baby down on top of anything that's in here if I think it's going to come out and it's good to go the air goes through it instead of blowing it up like a regular tarp and we got that off a scrap claim our friend was getting rid of his trampoline Alex and he had that as part of it I got a suggestion from a couple people on YouTube to use it and it's been great ever since YouTube YouTube and the people that watch have given me so many good suggestions it helps every day so thank you all but this was the gold truck that used and to pull this trailer every day on the for a long time but now that's retired and also the straps that I use I got to find them I really don't even know where they are so I might have to cut this for a second so here they are these are the straps that we use there's three sets in here two came from Tomlin bard the thicker better once these ones which are way you can tell the quality difference between this one here that's darker a little bit and has two black lines and one orange line in the middle and this one has two dotted orange lines this one's from Harbor Freight and this one was from our friend Tomlin Bart and the one from Tom is way better quality but these are the straps that we use for the trailer and the tarp all right so here's our truck I know it's thunder and lightning I hope you guys can hear me good but this is our new truck it isn't Ford f-150 it is a super crew cab meaning it has the four doors full back seat it is a 5.4 liter v8 engine so it is a gas guzzler but it's also a beast this is a cleanest truck I've ever laid my hands on and this is our new baby so here she is but it's getting really it's pouring raining out right now so I'm gonna go inside and I'll try and shoot you guys more of the truck tomorrow tomorrow on the job or just tomorrow at some point if I remember but I just wanted to give you guys a layout of it I'm not even saying that's the best way to do anything that I just explained but that's just how we do it and that's how it works for us and that's the stuff we use so the dream continues got to push it every day and like they say every time my door closes other doors open to other things that could even be better than the door that you're already the room that you're inside of never get discouraged by opportunities ending or failing or not working or flip-flopping or changing because you never know the opportunities that are ahead that present themselves could actually be better off for you financially for your health or beneficially for your long-term happiness and that's your happiness and your health they're more important than anything but you never know so always just stay on your true path and don't waver don't
