good afternoon friends welcome back to the Stony Ridge Farm I have been fired from these two machines come along today and we're going to talk to you a little bit about why I got sh Hand by tym tractors Stony rid [Music] Farm all right friends welcome back to the Stony Ridge Farm Channel this is your first time your 50 millionth time reach down and hit that like button subscribe the channel I'd love to have you back here this is a 150 acre first generation Farm project here in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and I'm going to walk you through today the progression of tractors here on the Stony Ridge Farm and we've had everything from Massie Ferguson to select track to tym to John Deere to Kabota all sorts of machines so these are my two tym tractors that's a tym t574 and this is the t104 it's 110 horsepower monster of a tractor that's about 55 horsepower and we also have a small smaller tym t254 which is a 25 horsepower tractor it's no longer on the farm it's at my mom's house I let my parents have it so what we've got going on here is two tractors that I am no longer part of the family with and we've had multiple tractors on the farm so let's just talk about what we started out with in progression this tractor never made the farm Channel but we had a little Kabota tractor that we first started out actually it did and that tractor came from everything attachment it was a borrowed machine from everything attachments Ted and the guys at everything attachments were working with me for a little bit I don't think their business is open anymore I think everything attachments has closed down I'm not sure post comments tell me what you think we went on from that Kabota to a John Deere 5065 and I had a lot of troubles with my John Deere 5065 it put a seriously bad taste in my mouth for my John Deere dealer and for my John Deere tractor I have since healed from that I also had a John Deere Gator I don't have a John Deere Gator anymore I have since healed from that nothing against green paint here on the farm I do however think that customer service should be of the utmost concern with any tractor manufacturer even tym okay now moving on forward over the years we progressed and got more and more machines the machines that we had here on the farm I had a Massie Ferguson 135 an older tractor you need to have a second tractor on 150 Acre Farm when you rely on these tractors to keep your animals fed and keep your farm TR we also have a Ventra tractor which is one of the most used tractors on the farm it has the most hours of any tractor aside from the John Deere which I ran basically all summer long for three Summers so about two years ago maybe a little over two years ago a company that I'd never heard of and a man that I'd never heard of Tony from Tony's tractor adventure and tym tractors reached out to me about promoting and showcasing their tractors on my channel Chanel on my YouTube channel and my various social media if you're watching on Facebook you know we're on Facebook also Instagram all that so I was really excited I thought wow I was super flattered wow a manufacturer like tym tractors which makes some of the Mahindra lineup I'm told which now own Branson tractors and they make the Rural King arcade tractors reached out to me and once me to show their tractors on the farm and I grew up with red tractors I grew up with Massie Ferguson tractor these aren't Massie Fergusons but they're still red and I like red tractors I just like them I think they're cool it's just me in my farm I like red tractors so I worked with tym we signed a contract and basically all I needed to do was put the tractors to use I don't have to sell you this tractor or that tractor or that skid loader or even that little electric tractor right there which is still here we'll talk about that in a future video I don't need to sell it to you all I need to do is show it to you I'm putting them to work and let me tell you something I still even though I have been canned by tym tractors I still believe in the product and I think that that speaks volumes so let's fast forward here or rewind here a little bit two years ago was contacted by tym tractors we got a little very vague contract together basically you show the tractors on the farm that's it you show them on the channel we let you have the tractors to use awesome awesome stuff super flattered super super flattered to have met folks like Hank Hamilton from Hamilton hamiltonville Farm folks like Al lumna from lumni acres and his family his wife great people Tony's tractor Adventure uh gosh I'm I'm forgetting people I know I am and uh I apologize if I'm forgetting anyone post it down there if I am forgetting anyone from the tym family oh arms family Homestead Daniel arms so all great people and I knew Daniel before this and I knew Al lumni Acres before this those are all great channels that I definitely love and follow I'm no longer a part of that family and it kind of stings a little bit and I want to tell you guys what I think happened and why I no longer am part of the tym tractor family things have changed at tym and I was at the national farm machinery show just a couple weeks ago and I stopped through the tym booth and I felt like the uh the stepchild that had been kicked out of the family it didn't really give me a very warm and fuzzy feeling things have changed tym has acquired Brands and tractors now they're merging those Brands together and I understand that I don't know if that's what affected it or if I ran my mouth and got canned did I run my mouth and get canned well I'll tell you guys about some things that went on internally uh there was some new marketing situations going on and some conversations had and I spoke up out of the group and maybe I spoke out of place I don't know if I did that or not but if I did I apologize to tym I'm not trying to get you back I love the machines if you you want to work with me you want to work with me if you don't you don't it's not a big deal to me I appreciate all that's been done in the past and hopefully in the future with any tractor manufacturer and I think this opens up doors for me to try new things and show you guys different things other than this red brand of tractor I spoke up when an email went out to all of us and it was very it was fairly impersonal and what I did was I said that that we are country folk we are Farm folk we are we are people that are used to a handshake we're people that are used to trusting and talking to people face to face and I think it would be a good idea for a new marketing situation to reach out and contact us and talk to us person to person man to man woman to woman however it is uh so that we have a good rapport and we've established a good rapport with one another so that we know how we feel about the brand and how we feel about the tractors and the machines and the serviceability and everything like that I think when I spoke up like that I think that put me down here I think it put me down a notch so I don't know if that's the reason or if management was restructuring I don't know but I will tell you this guys beyond the shadow of any doubt these are high quality machines my contract with tym expired and basically they decided to not renew my contract I am super impressed with the tym t104 I've got about 250 hours on it I've had not one hiccup other than something that I caused I didn't know how to use the three-point hitch in the back it has the Bosch electronic 3point hitch I figured out how to use it no problems ever since this machine right here the 574 absolutely no problems whatsoever this tractor has about 120 hours on it the other tractor the 254 which is the little 25 horsepower tractor I think it's being replaced with the T25 I've had no problems with it at all either so what I really wanted to say today is that I'm no longer working with tym as a brand and I haven't been working with tym as a brand for quite some time we had a 2-year contract they decided not to renew my contract what I want from you guys is if you want to see more tym content or if you want to see me testing and trying multiple new types of tractors multiple sizes of tractors do you want to see any more electric equipment I want to try new electric equipment I think we'd be foolish to turn our back on technology however we'd also be foolish to be forced to take on this technology so I just wanted to bring this out to you guys kind of clear the air and talk to you a little bit about the TM tractors that I've been working with I'm really disappointed I'm kind of heartbroken that I'm no longer a part of the tym family they are welcome welcome here even the employees are welcome in my home they're welcome on my farm the tractors are welcome here on the farm and I decided to keep the tractors because they are an instrumental part of my farming operation I would love to work with another brand and bring them in and do some comparisons from the tym brand to the ls brand to the K cabota brand to the John Deere brand to kih uh anything and everything um Massie Ferguson Farmall any of that stuff I'd love to have it out here just to test it out now I'm not here to sell you tractors I'm here to work these machines and tell you what I have experienced and what I think in my opinion May matter to you and it may not matter to you at all guys post comments tell me what you think I just wanted to open up and clear the air there's been a lot of talk on the Channel all right tm's doing this tm's doing that tym decided that I was no longer part of the tym family however tym is still part of my family here here on the Stony Ridge Farm they are great tractors they have been awesome machines and I hope to bring other tractors in and put them nose to nose tail to tail with these machines and see what they'll do guys thank you so much please hit that like button subscribe to the channel I just wanted to clear the air for you today tym fired me but I did not fire tym these machines will stay here and they'll get the snot worked out of them see you next time on the Stony Ridge Farm guys there'll be some links up here to some additional videos you can check out while we're putting these things to work take care [Music] woo and that's way supposed to be the
