I'm glad you do so today I'm kind of taking it a pro Thursday guide or topic and trying to just really crunch it down into a newbie Tuesday it might get a little bit advanced so I'm just gonna give you a heads up right now I'm just gonna say we might get a little advanced here and I apologize for that I'll really try to keep it dumb at times I might say I might like ding the bell or that sound like that sounds like a bell am i ding the bell let you guys know warning advanced topic coming because sometimes it's funding to go off on these things this is one of those things that just like you know you can spiral it out of control and then you're sitting there and you're in the maan stats txt files and you're in the sets and unique item texts and you're like oh my god this is so cool and you're like wait this is Nuvi Tuesday so I actually had to delete some slides because I started building these slides out and it was running through like all the TC upgrade potential and and the recursive nature of treasurer classes and everything really it was getting too far and I was like this is newbie Tuesday they just need to know how items work so we were just gonna hit crank Congrats we're just gonna hop in I have to switch oh I don't to switch it's already set how items work wow look at that look at that yeah we just whoa what is this it's a magic fine Monday challenge don't Pittman here let us go to some terminology boom some things that we're gonna first know or need to know for this video okay things will first need to know these this is just some terminology that I might use throughout this video so you should know it item type is the type of item this is a cap this is a staff this is a bone shield a flail or a ring a gem a large axe right all of those are item types okay item quality is the quality of it which is low quality normal superior quality magic rare set and unique in that order right that is the order that qualities go up or down if you look at from it the other way right those are important to note and magic find applies to item quality okay that's where magic find applies now Q level is the quality level and this is essentially the level of the item type okay so or if it's a specific set or unique item this is the level of the set or unique item which will have a different Q level than its normal counterpart so for instance the Q level of a sacred armor is let's go to our handy dandy place right I'm gonna I'm going to take us to our sheet because we we did this sheet last time and it was a lot of fun right here alright sacred armor armor there you go the Q level of a sacred armor is 85 the Q level of the unique Tyrael smite is 87 and of templars might is 82 okay but 85 is sacred armor is the just for the item type sacred armor before it checks uniques and all that stuff and we'll get into this in a second this is what you need to know q levels every item has AQ level and that's the quality level okay so for that in the future as well I level is the item level this is not that I don't level level is generated upon drop dependent on area monster all of that stuff okay so that is a separate ordeal and that's something that you can have an item level right I'll even let me open up my other one because it'll actually show item level this is hidden this is also not level required a required level that is a separate thing as well okay so let me show you some examples I'm gonna go to my rings here here I have a natal ring that is item level 12 here I have an 8 ring there's item 12 here I have a nature ring there's item level 85 okay this is all about where I found the ring same exact ring but a and the AR it doesn't matter the attacker and all that stuff this is plug-in mod which is why I'm able to see item level you won't see that normally that for some reason blizzard hit it maybe to make like crafting a little more exciting and stuff like that but you can't yeah you can't see this on battlenet or anything like that but this is the item level right here okay so yes so this item level was this ring was dropped probably in like ancient tunnels or chaos in one of those areas by a regular monster there that had a monster level of 85 okay and then it dropped that and it was an item level 85 drop okay so you can see by looking around item level 87 and 1294 item level 99 this was dropped by Bale because he's gonna be the only person that's gonna drop an item level 99 item okay all of his drops are gonna be 99 so like that's why when you're going for charms these are item level 94 and 99 charms because when I want to re-roll these are the only ones possible this Anila thak these all were dropped from bail and diablo 94 was from diablo pronounced nagel mr liu mask sorry Nagel so this is dropped from diablo this is dropped from bail this is bail this is bail diablo bail bail right that's going to be guaranteed on that so that is item level and once again that is purely on where it was dropped from or who dropped it okay so let's go back to our terminology a level is gonna be area level some people also have a level as affix level which is a separate ordeal and that's like the stats that roll on items but a level at least lower case is area level and that is going to be the level of an area which then will determine the types of monsters that can spawn or the level of monsters that will spawn in that area okay mmm level is the monster level and nightmare in hell this is equal to the a level but it has variations of course and a normal it's fixed and you can look that up in the monde stats txt file sorry if it's again a little advanced with that back off a little bit mmm level equals monster level just know that sea level is the character level this is the only level you're actually seeing in the game sea level 98 that is my character level all those other levels you are not getting to physically see in the game the only one you see is sea level okay TC is treasure class now this is the important thing okay this is the important thing is treasure class basically has item types within it as well as other treasurer classes within it so when a monster dies and we'll get into this but when a monster dies and is gonna drop something what it first does is it looks at treasure classes that it can possibly drop from okay and if we go over to our window right here you'll see for instance this is treasure class 87 so within treasure class 87 you have our con staff you have Berserker axe blood Lord skull cata seus Colossus plate right as opposed to if we go up here T treasure class 57 has ancient shield feral axe flying axe right things of this nature and this goes all the way up right to buckler's and everything at tc3 which i guess if i do this there we go now we can see it right so you have your buckler and your cap you know and this is the items these are the items that you're gonna find in the blood more and in the you know cold plains and you can find these anywhere in the game but you know when you're in those low level areas they're not gonna be dropping TC 45s and stuff right so just note for now that that means treasure class and the last thing is rarity okay and rarity is used to determine the rarity of an item within its class essentially so for instance let's say that a unique ring or not within its class but let's say a unique ring drops when the game is going to then choose what unique ring to pull from it's going to look at rarity and so this is why for everyone soj you get you're going to find 15 man old rings because soj has a rarity of one man old he'll has a rarity of 15 okay so that's how they give that determination to say this is more rare than that whenever it's going through it's looking at rarity to determine what's going to be dropped so that's the terminology hopefully you guys got that if we need to revisit and I'll try to say the things out loud as we go but you know that's the basics so let's go to the drop process because this is really the important thing that I want to talk about okay when we are here and we want to say how does an item drop what actually happens in the game when I kill monster X right when you kill monster X here's what happens the first thing it does is it runs through possible treasure classes with this you one thing right it runs through possible treasure classes and it sees which treasure classes can be chosen so I say chooses item types from these but essentially it's choosing treasure classes that are possible okay so let me see if we want to go to another one really fast let's go to monster level first yeah let's just go here so we'll come back to treasure classes but let's go first / - here when determining Monster level which is M level right there right thanks a fattie normal you're gonna have in difficulty of normal you have fixed levels on monsters so when that monster spawns and you can look it up on the Google right you can Google much levels or whatever or you can go into the actual files and look at it whatever you want they say this monster is level eight this monster is level ten rogue Archer is level you know whatever it's going to say what each specific monsters level is and this is also why when you see something like beetles with it in the rocky waist versus beetles in the tomb versus beetles in the faraway --ss they all have different names and the reason they have different names is because each one is a different monster type that has a different set level if it was just spawned beetle or whatever then it wouldn't be able to make that differentiation for it right so it's very just simple it just says okay you know this is a I don't remember all the names of the beetles but you know they've got names in every area and says this one's level 13 this one's level 14 this one's level 19 like that okay those are fixed when you go to nightmare in hell instead of continuing to give them fixed values what they did is they just said screw it we're just going to set monster level equal to the area level so when we went through and we talked about this stuff yesterday a little bit right in our magic finding guide but when we went through where was that here I bring this up in one second when we went through and looked at area levels right and here's the nightmare and here's how I know it's not formatted amazingly but just bear with me we have for instance the blood more inhale is area level 67 all monsters in the blood more in hell that are normal monsters not bosses champions are going to then be level 67 so this is where you can very easily find oh right all monsters in the pit are monster level 85 this is just good stuff to know right so you can go out and check the area levels all that stuff but this is a very simple way to look and say okay nightmare hell where am I what's much level B gonna be and then I know that okay so that's just equal to dead now if it is a champion monster such as the ghostly or champion or berserk whatever right there's the various kinds of champions with their different things they are going to get plus - to their levels so this is how you start reaching that level 87 right because if we're looking at I need a monster to drop me let's say I want dropped Ariel's might and has a queue level of 87 I need a monster level of 87 to drop that Tyrael smite and a TC but we'll get to that in a second but I need at least a month level of 87 to get me that Terios might so I have to kill champions or uniques + their minions which get +3 levels so they are then level 88 within the area that I am killing that is a level 85 that's if I want to hit that 87 88 right so that's important that is that is very and I'm trying to once again I'm trying to keep this at a high level as high level that I can that's understandable to you guys but just note that but the only difference is when I say uniques + minions I mean the ones that randomly spawn if it is a super unique something like your Pindell skin or your beetle burst or anything or your infector of souls or Grand Vizier or list of the Tormentor any monster that is a set unique monster that you will always find is going to have its own stats its own level and shredder classic can drop from within the files right so that is very important to remember because they aren't always going to be able to drop everything such as if I'm in the chaos sanctuary and I kill a random unique boss he could dropped Ariel's might if I kill infect her he can't drop Tyrael smite Diablo also can't drop Tyrael smite right but a random unique boss standing there can drop it and that's just because of how this is right monster level plus 3 is going to let that monster in the a level 85 area drop something that's a queue level 87 whereas Diablo has his own set infector has his own set things and they actually have lower set drop you know tc's and everything where they can't drop that and that's also where once again and this is I'm using the exact same stuff that I used the other day right silos pen I can sit here and I can say T Rios night which we know is key level 87 let's go to bosses and find and you're going to see that only bail and nila thak from bosses can drop a tear EO smite from super uniques only the super unique in the throne of destruction can drop a Tyrael smite but when we go to uniques now you add in all sorts of things any unique that is a 84 or up can drop it and if we go to champions you're gonna see the same thing and if we go to the minions of those uniques you're gonna see the same thing in all sorts of areas once again we're just looking in you know these a level 84 and 85 areas okay so kisi drop rates from chest chest are a whole thing they're a whole different topic chests are really cool that they are a very different topic but if you're excluding special case chests right super chests in there and they're kind of crazy rules and stuff when chests do drop for you they're going to still do drops in similar ways okay and and I believe chests are equal to the area level as well and racks are equal to area level minus one but racks have you know we went over X right that was once again they had their own thing as well that's a different topic but just now if you go pop regular chests whatever it's going to run through a similar thing that I'm going to take you through here very soon so I think we've covered this slide let's move on to the drop process again so now we go back to the drop process now that we've talked about this a little bit more and this like I say this is what a chest will do as well a chest will do this just like a monster will so let's say I go out and I kill a monster the first thing it does is it checks the potential treasure classes that it can drop and you have to know that treasure classes aren't just treasure class 87 treasure class 84 treasures class they do that's that's not just it it goes to weird things like bail treasure class and then within the bail treasure class there's the bail good items bail junk items and bail whatever equip treasure classes and then within those right there recursive they will dig in deep and so when you pick a treasure class it'll pick another and that you know not always but it can keep going through until it eventually lands on an item type or a no drop so that's what's happening here in steps 1 through 4 it finds all the potential treasure classes it will make they pick from that or a pick from no drop which I've talked about before but this is important this is important to really note and this is what flash players effects no drop is the chance that no item will drop so it will go through and say do we pick this treasure class we picked this I hope we pick no drop boom no job is taken no drop happens and that basically clears it out at that point remember monsters can have multiple picks of these by the way so this doesn't just happen one time for instance bail isn't going to drop you zero items right he will run through this process multiple times so he might go no drop there and take that but then he'll drop items and the other ones right whatever so note that that is the case and this is also why I say slash players effects it because whenever you add in players there's a whole formula which once again that's getting to pro Thursday's a little that's that's getting to Pro Thursdays if you're looking at this formula to say what is causing that but essentially when you increase the player count it changes something in the formula that makes it so the no drop chance goes down so you have a less chance of picking no drop which means you have a higher chance of getting an item and this is how more items are dropped okay so if we continue there if it picks a TC it then selects another like I said and it'll keep going through and there's multiple chances for no drop right when you go to that next TC it might have a no drop chance as well are these drop rates to turn when you enter the game no this is when you kill a monster when you kill a monster it is going to check this is there a point to kill bosses at players seven over players three not really unless you want more experienced players three on a boss is generally going to get that no drop chance very very low very very low player seven can be a little better but whatever can you explain how the game chooses the number of dropped items it does it by going through this process so a you know let's say that well first it does it by a monster has a set number of drop picks they're called picks essentially that it can do for so for instance a normal fallin is only going to pick one time so you'll never go out and kill a normal fallin and have that normal fall and drop two items three items five items that will never ever happen that monster gets one pick and that pick will either be no drop or an item that's it okay and an item can be like a potion as well right so monsters have a set number of picks that are given to them within their stats and bosses have a lot more of these but of course they have that chance for no drop so it'll go through and say is this an item hits the no drop no that's a no drop is this an item yes that is an item drop the item is this night yes that's an item so it'll go through and pick multiple items or no drops to drop and hire the players better there I think we've got got that part down moving forward let's say eventually it picks an item type or multiple item types now that it is gone and does this it will select the item quality which if we remember back to our initial terminology item quality is is it low quality is it superiors abnormal or normal superior magic rare set unique right so it's going to go through and apply at that point magic find so this is where having that magic find and we had that graph and I will even bring that graph up again there we go so we have this and you can see this is how you know having your total MF affects your effective MF the more the higher that you have your match find the better chance are going to have a higher quality item okay where we drop process so when it is making this quality check sorry and sometime I look when it's making this quality check it's going to start at unique and it is going to say is this a unique item and it will roll its die and this is after it takes your MF into account it'll roll its die and it'll say yes this one is or what no it's not right let's pretend it knows all the way down so roll the die is this unique know is this a set no is this a rare note is the somatic note is this a and at any point if it says yes it cuts the process okay is this a magic note is a superior no is it normal no okay it's a little quality right it'll roll all the way through from top down to bottom and there's bugging me get off lip there we go it'll go from all the way up from top down to bottom to determine which rarity or which item quality that this item has this is cherries my check yes that doesn't happen yet so now that it has determined if it's unique set whatever it is it hasn't determined if it's tea Rios might or if it's oculis or whatever it is it hasn't chosen that yet it has said I have picked a unique ring a unique boots a rare phase blade it has just said that much this far at step level five it hasn't said this unique swirl and crystal is the Occulus because now we go to step number six and this is where you have to calculate the eye level so at that point it will then look at that monster that it killed or if it's in a specific other things that when you or any rack like I said is area level -1 so the item level of a rack is going to be area level -1 right so you're gonna get if you're in the lower crust that's an area level 80 if you touch a rack and pick an item up that's an item level 79 if you kill a normal monster there and you pick the item up that's an item level 80 and let's go ahead and do this just for the sake of showing right it's like I said this is area level 80 there's some white buzzards they don't drop anything and set players to eight so we increase our shop chance yeah we have a hollow log there short spear item level 80 right remember I said how chest just normal chest like this and monsters are the exact same and they go through that process well this one rolled to drop an item level 80 and we can see as well once again if we go over here and if these things drop anything potions probably one as well yeah I want to just get a item from a white monster come on where all the white monsters that boss boss boss there they are come on annoying all right well the chest proved it out the chest proved it out every one of these guys will drop something classes hold item level 80 okay so this this will prove that point right this is claw this is item level 80 perfect good to see that is generated by the M level 80 monster in the a level 80 area okay so let's go back so at this point it will calculate the item level for each of the items that dropped so first it goes through picks all the items basically puts them at on the table and applies the item level to those items so it says all right you you all your items these are all III level 80 so it sets that now now it will then say okay let's generate the if it's set are unique let's generate the list of items that this can be such as let's say it's a unique ring there's a lot of rings that it can be right but it's only going to have rings up to the eye level of that item so for instance if we go and and say okay you know if I kill normal and Daario I can't find an soj I can't find you know these have too high of the queue level I can't find them from andariel so at her she's going to say is this man old or nasal I believe I think those are the only two that she can drop and Daario normal rings yeah I think there's the only to NATO only okay sorry she is NATO only so you can't even get a man old from her yet right so in that case it would just say Nagle that would be the list however Helen dorial it would say bull cat those soj nasal man old heal Raven Frost right dwarf star it's gonna add all of those in and it's going to then have that list to choose from so that list is generated once it calculates eye level and it looks at eye level and and says what can this be and this is based on the cue level for for that ring right or whatever now let's take into account when it gets to like like a sacred Arbor right is this why Andy nightmare and who is considered best again soj yes this is exactly why because nightmare Andy is one of the earliest places it drops it drops at normal bail or Diablo but that's kind of like a lot longer to farm but nightmare Andy is really quick to farm and she has a smaller table of unique rings that she can draw from thus you're going to get unique rings are unique soj is from her a lot more often okay so that's exactly the reason why I'm glad you asked that question because a lot of people are always like I don't know why if I'm not mine I'm Aaron Dario that's just what people say to do that's what the drop calculator said that is why because it then goes in and makes that list so when it's going and and making that list for let's say a let's say like Pindell or whatever or yeah let's say Pindell it goes and it's making that list from a unique sacred armor that can drop it's not going to be allowed to drop Tyrael smite because that q level is not high enough so you will always get that Tyrael smite from Pindell right and this is also when and this is why unique items are called unique because they can only be found once per game so if I find let's just say spectral shard which is a unique blade if I find spectral shard I'm going and I'm getting that blade and the next time if let's say I find another blade in the game and it goes and it rolls it as a unique item and then it comes over here and checks the list to see what unique blades there can be if it doesn't find it this is where you get the this is where you get the multiple durability piece of this right so what happens is the game will try to make an item realize it can't and then instead turn it into a rare or a magic depending if it was unique or set at first and give it multiple durability so basically it's a failed role that's why when I say I failed that role or something I get mad about it that's a thing this can also be if an item can't exist such as there's no set item phase blade so if I get a say phase blade it says all right I get phase blade and it's a rolls the dice unique no rolls the dice it's a set cool calculated I level boom put the I level on it what what list can I have of items oh there are none because there's no set phase blades well in that case turn it into a magic item double its durability which it doesn't have to build II have a terrible example because it doesn't have durability let's pretend like I said dimensional blade turn it into a magic item double its durability and throw it on the ground okay boom just like that you get a failed roll and and that happens when there's either not one of that that item in existence there's no unique vortex shield in the game so if you roll a unique vortex shield it's just gonna end up being a rare shield with trip durability that's what you'll find on the ground and you will know that you had a successful roll on the unique option but because there isn't that it threw it out as a vortex you that's rare and multiple durability right so that happened either like I said because it doesn't exist that happened because you've already found that item in the game and that's it takes it off the list if it's unique sets can drop multiple times and everything else from there or it takes it if it just can't be dropped from that specific monster so when that happens like I say the base can be dropped but the item cannot such as let's go over here to our handy dandy site one more time let's go to arachnid mesh so this is one of the best examples in the game a spiderweb sash has a Q level of 61 so if we are going to our image Q level 61 it picks that item type okay it says great that's totally fine spider webs Ashe can drop it is I guess first we should look here first things first it is ATC 63 okay is ATC 63 why do they double or triple the durability I think it's so you know that it was a failed role that's my guess but enough Cedric it's a treasure class 63 so when deciding what treasure class is going to look at the monster level as well so it's going to say okay and it'll basically it's looks at the monster level goes over to the charger class and usually it's the exact same thing right so okay this monster is level 63 rolls over looks as it can drop from the treasure class 63 cool and then it will come in here and choose from these or below right and it has all the recursion and that's a whole another thing right that's where we get to Pro Thursdays but we just need to know this is TC 63 so Pindell can drop TC 63 Pindell scan is the best example in the game of this pendel scan can drop TC 63 so he can come down here and drop a spiderweb sash remember this is without an item quality this is just spiderweb sash first so that has now been chosen then it says okay what kind of sash is this and it chooses the item quality before it chooses the item level so it says cool rolls it a were Gucci and once again that is queue level of 61 which was why he can drop this item because he is monster level 86 okay so he can drop it okay so he rolls it and he says cool spider up sash and they rolls it and it turns unique and now at this point it's a unique sash and it creates the list of unique spiderweb sashes and it says what is their arachnid mesh that's the only one cool it will be arachnid mesh but within that upgrade to erect and mesh we now go to that second statement there which is where I say if I level is less than Q level of the set slash unique then it turns that durability okay so the Q level of Iraq and mesh is 87 it's so much higher Pindell is set 86 which means the eye level of what just dropped is 86 so it can't drop a unique arachnid mesh because that's Q level 87 because there are unique - because that's erecting mesh that's Q literally 7 so it can't drop it on the ground so instead Pindell will not drop you your racket and mesh and Pindell will just drop you a spiderweb sash that is rare and has triple durability now this is once again is the same for the two other q level 87 s in the game arachnid mesh as your wrath blade and Tyrael smite those are the only three uniques in the game that have that and you can see the sacred armor is Q level 85 the spiderweb sash is 61 and the phase blade is Q level 73 so Pindell can drop every base in the game here but he cannot drop the actual Q level 87 items and there's three in the game and this is what he can't drop now we can go over to Mephisto who has a much lower TC drop so Mephisto is not gonna be dropping sacred armors or ogre gauntlet anything from this TC 87 is not going to be getting dropped from Mephisto anything from TC 84 is not going to be getting dropped from Mephisto right Mephisto has a lower TC drop ability he's a set boss for that but he's monster level 87 so what this means is he can drop arachnid mesh because he can hit this TC 63 and then when he rolls on a spiderweb sash he actually has the eye level or the m level which gives the eye level of the item that is equal to erect and mesh so that is actually a possible find right so times good kadian so that's why you can have a Pindell who can't drop three items in the game but Mephisto who can drop from those items and I believe my Pfister can also drop a giraffe he just can't drop T riyals might because t rios might is too high of a treasure class okay so I know that part might got a little confusing but this is that process that it goes through so then if it's not a unique or set item it's going to go through and the last step is it will generate the item affixes as necessary and this is also I mean guess if it's unique whatever will generate on that item what it what it has exactly you know they're already set what the stats are but has to roll those so it'll roll the stats or whatever but in this case let's say you have a rare ring or a magic you know sword or whatever it's going to have to roll through and say what affixes are applied does it get +2 life does it get mana regen doesn't you know all of those things and but obviously I say if needed because like a minor mana potion doesn't need any affixes so that that wouldn't happen in that case so that is the drop process now some things that other people are curious about is sockets right when did this socketing happen well once it's gone through and cheap chosen all of that stuff it's now going to choose what's happening for sockets if it's unique or set this is predetermined even if it has a predetermined few numbers of sockets those are predetermined they will randomly roll through those right but you have like Griswolds armor it has the three sockets in it right that's just your set crystalline armor always has that if it's rare or magic it has to have an ethics and this is either mechanists or mechanics artisans or jewelers okay those are the three a fixes that can generate sockets on a magic or rare item has to happen if it's a normal or superior item one out of three times it's going to have sockets okay and they're random and it's dependent on the eye level of the item for what the max number of sagas can be for instance a long battle bow has to be at least item level 60 I think to get six sockets on it right 40 is like five sockets 33 oh I forget exactly these four sockets so the number of sockets on it depends on what the item level is and then low quality cannot have sockets that just can't be done that's not a thing in the game the only time it can is if you do you socket it yourself with like the quest or whatever and then lastly if theoria litems are a five percent chance of being ethereal i didn't want to create a whole page for it but any item that can be ethereal has a five percent chance with the exception of items that are always ethereal which is going to be your specific unique items ghost flame Wraith flight I think is one Tyrael might is always never basically if an items as indestructible if it's a unique item that says indestructible it is either always a set item or never asset ID or always an ethereal item or never an ethereal item those are the only two cases you'll never find a indestructible unique item that is both indestructible and F or non F depending on how you find it so those are kind of the rarities there with that stuff and I [Music] don't think I have other graphics so at this point if you have questions I would love to field those questions otherwise I can kind of you know once again discuss a little bit more such as like this is item level 88 right here which is required for that dimensional shard deaths fathom to be dropping right you're not gonna find that at a lower eye level there or let's go to Griffin's is also gonna be that item level 88 right a lot of these are gonna be 87 and 88 94 that was Diablo dropped it this was dropped from a unique boss this is dropped from Diablo Diablo unique bought our unique minion cold crow or something like that Diablo right you can determine kind of where the rat based on that eye level from this when you MF in the agent tells the only kill boss elite groups yes and like I say the reason for that is because I'm trying to get items that how are in the TC 87 and have the a high enough item level to drop all of the items that I'm looking for so for instance when I was looking for that Tyrael smite that has a Q level of 87 I have to kill a monster that can drop TC 87 which is gonna be basically those unique boss groups as well as Q level 87 is a meth worth hanging on to in low levels yes totally totally I love magic find in low levels and a lot of that comes from that one graph which I'll bring up right here this guy look at how much having just a little bit of magic find affects you and it is asymptotic got that word from YouTube thanks YouTube so it is going to you basically there are 65,000 338 whatever the exact number is of chest variations that can drop for each of the player settings or one two three four five six seven eight right in twos in twos that will be chosen from whenever you pop that chest they will never drop unique items as opposed to like golden chests which can drop unique items but that's its own thing once again but they will never drop Yuna Kemp they will always choose from those set ideas and so if you find a burr room for instance and this is why the number of players that you pop the chest on does matter for instance players three is better than players five when you're looking because players 3 has more of those set variations that have burr runes and just or whatever sir root whatever it all is you can look exactly at kind of the numbers of each one but there's just there's set variations so when you drop that beroun you're also going to drop this item this item and this item like it's it's down to that science when I play more POA or torchlight I've never played torch so I probably should p OE I just not have time right now and enough time just MF on Merce add up tears only if the murse gets a kill then pretty common actually because when I think of like trying to roll for open socket flail versus you know whatever yeah you know I feel like I think it is unique per item but they're probably around similar areas for a lot of items I haven't looked into that exactly early so you can get message a from normal Diablo can drop it I'm not sure if it can be dropped any earlier than that there's there you know it's potential like maybe the travandkel could drop it or something but I know normal Diablo I think that is the earliest you can get it from you could look it up on that drops out of there what's the advantage of a skier it has a hundred fifty percent defense or attack damage but of course it's ethereal so it will break so you either need to be indestructible or you need to dot it to make it indestructible or you need to give it to your mercenary or you need it to be an item like a phase blade or something that doesn't have a durability I went to skip the leveling go straight into relaxed magic fine is there any single player character out there that still works so I can skip the leveling hero editor if you want I mean I think the living is the fun part there's a lot of fun to it however from Schaefer since the interview no I'm hoping when he you know I told him to message me when he releases his game when they announce it are there any items that draw with as much stat slash modifiers as diadem's and I would have to to look I guess I mean you can have amulets and stuff that have a lot of stats as well and rings and stuff you know so I'm guessing rings and Emmys and and such that would be my assumption but not her presenter right there's six mods six mods let's go look at some dams yeah yeah there's a lot of items that that have a lot of stats I'm trying to try to think through items there that I mean it's probably any amount of items really I don't even know if they have a specific set number per item you know it's probably based on just I level and such can couch drop before so I get sword and shield yes they can normal cows will be if you get a like long sword a broad sword or crystal sword something from normal cows you can take that to get socketed for guaranteed for sockets but once again it depends on that eye level I think it's eye level 26 to like 40 you will get four sockets on those weapons and so that's where you can kind of like guarantee it if you're using plug you can always check an item to see if it will be within the specific number because it always gives you max Achatz that it can give you so I think at level 40 is when it would be able to give that crystal sword or five sockets and that would be the issue but you're not gonna find a monarch in anywhere that's lower than you know really high level just due to a monarch shield having a i TC and q level so whenever you get a monarch it's always going to be a high enough eye level that you can socket it for for sockets so if you ever find one you can always take it too large like for that did the graves and the tower of different drop rates or categories I think they I think they slightly do I'd have to look into graves a little bit more graves and and all those things there's definitely there's definitely decent chances for like them to drop rings and a Me's and I don't know if that comes from and this is all a lot of monsters have a different chance for what they can drop within a TC such as nightmare and Dario or Justin Dario in general has a higher chance for dropping jewelry and that's just the way that that her treasure class is set up and how she chooses through things she has a better chance of dropping jewelry than for instance other monsters and some monsters such as ghosts can't drop certain items so they're going to have higher rune drop rates and things like that so once again this comes down to treasure classes and I don't want to dive down that rabbit hole right now cuz that is a pro Thursday topic I think and will well beyond the scope of newbie Tuesday items so yeah but there are different monsters have different drop rates for treasure classes and stuff especially like bosses I would love for Thursday on high level crafting yeah that would be a good one I wanna do that is how I performed and refers to J's yes that's the second reason they farm her one she has really good drop rate of her jewelry to her jewelry class and nightmare especially is she can't drop a ditch she can't drop her beak Havering her carrion wind her nature's piece those can't drop in nightmare so you're limiting that list that we talked about right here right that number six calculates the eye level and then generates a list it can choose from it can't drop as many rings in there what M level do the champion slash Enoch cows have well the cows are area level 81 this is in hell so champions are plus two on that they're 83 and uniques are plus 3 on that they're level 84 and can they drop the most items I I don't think there's a most items I don't they have a better chance really for dropping items I think they just drop a ton because there's a lot of cows that are easy to kill but you know they pick from their own treasure class and maybe there is something about it that's a little bit different I haven't looked that extensively into the cows dropping but you know there's a lot of cows that you can go in and slaughter quickly so I think that's why you can get a lot of items there can I expand on my MF discussion mmm in what way I need more than that let's see I have the ward unique shield on my network pally at what point is the defense of a high-level shield worth giving up the res it gives resistances are much more important than defense in this game defense is just used in a calculation to determine if you get hit or not so when a monster is swinging at me to try and hit me it will take my level and my defense versus his level and his attack rating put him in a formula and then calculate the percent chance that he hits me increase in my defense can help a little bit but if I can drop the amount of damage that he's doing with with resistances that tends to be a lot more effective so I would say focus on your focus on that first right focus on your resistances first then worry about defenses like a later thing we're safer my base front up for my enigma he'll cows that's a really good one yes are there only certain magic items you can reroll potential for new strat on other characters seems worth of four necro you can reroll like anything right you just get a magic item pop that puppy in there with some gems and reroll it it's definitely worth it for the necro trying to find that + to bone spear for a paladin trying to find + - blessed hammer you know you you there's there's definitely re-roll potential even a sorceress if you had a magic orb that was just trash whatever rear olinguito Nova or something like that so I said pop a couple chips in there right my said perfect but I meant chip gems if I did best locations bosses etc you should watch yesterday's Diablo daily I went through all the best locations bosses there was a whole two hours on on all that that I think describes everything I could say about magic finding yeah how cows is pretty darn good though for finding armours and monarch shields and all that it's pretty good it's farming a normal thing not much you can a little bit but not a ton countess is maybe where I would say you would farm normal really but Yuri generally get to nightmare in farm nightmare I'd say so I think that kind of gets through a lot of the drop process how items kind of work right once again this can get extremely deep and I didn't even want to get talked about treasure classes upgrading based on monstered levels and what's all going on behind the scenes we didn't even die into dive into all of that stuff I just wanted to bring up the basics so you know how an item generates and kind of why and what you're looking for when you go out and kill different bosses or minions or areas whatever it is what you kind of want to look for so hopefully this was helpful and everybody say bye to
