Diablo 4 Season 1 - What you have to do to prepare

hi everyone so the other day we had the season one preview for Diablo 4 the season of the Millennium unfortunately I was away for a few days so I wasn't being able to cover it in real time but now we're back and we're talking about it and before I dive into all of the details about where the season is gonna be and what I think about it and all that stuff I want to get out this video first because I want to get you guys prepared so there are some things that you want to do in advance before season one start which by the way is going to be on the 20th of July so this is in 11 days from recording this this video this is a first day for whatever reason and the patch will hit on the 18th of July two days prior to that and there will be some progress that carries over from your Eternal realm characters to your seasonal characters so if you're not aware you start fresh level one in a season if you choose to you can also keep playing on a tournament but you won't have the seasonal stuff they only have the normal patch and something things you can prepare to get a boost right at a start so the first things first is the campaign campaign is a one-time only thing you have to do if you have not finished the campaign yet since the launch of the game you definitely want to do so now because you can choose to skip the campaign when you create a new character and that is significantly faster to level up than going through the whole thing again of course you can choose if you like to but if you want to you know progress and just like Jump Right In then this is the way the campaign will also give you the mount already so halfway through we get that and this will also be unlocked for all of your future characters from Level 1 and the amount really speeds things up early on but there are some more things that carry over that the developers mentioned in the live stream and that is that you get all of your exploration bonuses and all of the altars of Lilith also unlocked so the way that this works is that you can log in after the Patch on the 18th of July before season 1 start and your progress will propagate to all other characters so it will just be shared between your characters and you can do so with various characters so if you have one that has explored one zone and one it has exploded another Zone you can knock into all of your characters once and then they will kind of like more and more unlock everything that you have done across all of your account and I can really recommend you to do this ahead of time so now there's just some kind of down time anyway you we all waiting for the patch we're all waiting for the season start so just when you play and you have not done so yet make sure that you get those Alters make sure that you have everything explored and then you can start with that with the extra stats with a bunch of extra renowned formula one and a season one in fact you get so much renowned from just exploration and the altars that you will have five skills points and five potion slots at level one already and you're kind of like on your way to the second skill point in each of the regions so it will probably just take something like I don't know half an hour one hour or so maximum in each of the zones as you level up you just go through and you know maybe do some dungeons do a quest here and there and you're gonna have all 10 extra skill points unlocked already probably by like level 15 or level 20 or something like that so it will be very fast and it's gonna be very powerful in leveling up it will be very fast to just blast all the way to level 50 and then jump straight onto the end game if you need a map I have this link in the description so I can go here and just check where all the Alters are if you haven't done so yet then go collect them as I said they don't have to be all on the same character they can be spread out over multiple characters but make sure you have each of them once at least and the same for the exploration if you're playing hardcore you have to make sure that you don't die until the 18th of July because you have to log in after the patch for this to work so your character needs to actually you know be playable and if you heard before that then well you probably have to go again and this means that especially on Hardcore there are some kind of like high level zones here where you cannot really just like walk around safely and especially in Arizona and like some hours of cash down there's like level 40 level 45 monsters so you probably have to double to at least around that point to be able to safely collect everything and also keep in mind the pup areas they're probably getting camped all day long by some high level players so it will be kind of difficult to collect those so make sure you get them lost maybe you know try to have an Elixir already have a score already and maybe like you know try to sneak your way in somehow and you can get those as well that's also already it for this video I just want to get us out there so that you guys can get ready personally I'm very much looking forward to season one and I'm gonna have a lot more
