[Music] I'm do hi guys welcome back to my channel welcome if you're new here my name is mua and I would like it if you click down below to subscribe to my channel so in today's video I'm going to show you guys how to apply makeup in the correct order so this is going to be really beginner friendly I already have all my makeup lined up in front of me so we're going to get straight into it if you want to see how this video goes down carry on watching and let's get right into it don't open your mouth good to [Music] me like so if you hear a baby in the background it's my nephew it's just playing so first off you want to start off with your eyebrows I personally think starting off with eyebrows is the best with no product on your face or around your brows cuz the Brows tend to slip and slide so if you want your brow product to stick to your brows you should do your eyebrows first before you do anything else on your face so I'm going to use my brow gel getting a brow gel is not necessary but it kind of keeps the hairs in place and it helps you to fill out your brows properly I'm going to use my Avita Joseph esed brow fixing gel even though my eyebrows are microbladed I don't know if you guys can tell but you see the brow hairs are kind of sticking up it makes the Brows look a bit more put together as compared to this one make sure to clean around your brows to get off any excess brow gel so I'm going in with a concealer that is two shades lighter than my Foundation shade I'm going to use that to clean the bottom part of my [Music] brows Next Step go in with a light layer of translucent powder to set the concealer underneath your eyebrows so that when you're filling your eyebrows in the concealer does not transfer into your eyebrows the next step is to fill your eyebrows in I'm going in with my eyebrow pencil and I'm going to fill in the sparse areas in my brows now these brows look good to some people but I like my brows thicker so if your brows look like this and you don't want to fill them in that's fine but I prefer to fill my brows in regardless the next step after filling your brows in or if you've filled your brows into your desired thickness you should use a concealer that matches your skin tone or your foundation shade to clean the top part of your brows so that you don't have that light Halo looking eyebrow I'm going in with the same flat brush and a concealer that is close to my skin tone to clean the top part of my [Music] [Music] brows next step is eyeshadow if you are going to be doing eyeshadow I prefer to do eyeshadow before or after I do my base but I think that doing your eyeshadow before your base which is your foundation and concealer and contour and stuff is better in my opinion because you just get the eyes out of the way and sometimes fall out from the eyes Shadow messes with your base so it's better to do eyes Shadow before especially if you are a beginner so I'm going to start off with priming my eyelids I'm going to Prime my eyelids with some concealer Some people prefer ey shadow primer which is fine concealer works the same in my opinion once you set it down with a light layer of powder I'm going to show you guys so just need a light layer of concealer just a dab so I'm going to go in with a damp sponge and I'm going to part this all over my [Music] eyelids this kind of conceals all the hyperpigmentation on my eyelids and it's going to make my eyeshadow colors pop more I'm going to go ahead and set that down with light layer of translucent powder and let me just throw this out there most eyeshadow primers are self setting and concealers are not so you have to set down your concealer with powder if you're using concealer if you are using an eyeshadow primer you don't need to set it down you just have to apply that blend it out and go in straight with your eyes Shadow I'm using this eyeshadow palette today and we're going to create a really nice eyes shadow look I'm going to go in into this shade right here and I'm going to put that in my crease for ey Shadow you can also go in with a bronzer as a transition color transition colors are usually matte colors they just enable or help your eyeshadow colors blend into your eyelids in a more natural way as you can see this looks so much better and this is just blend so I'm going to blend this into my crease as [Music] well then I'm going to go into a dark brown I'm going to put that on my outer V just like so and kind of blend it up into the crease casing point you see how how this has gone overboard if I had applied my base first it would have been difficult to clean up but now that I have not applied my base it's going to be easier to clean I'm going into this bronzy shade and I'm going to put that onto my eyelid is eyelash application I'm going to show you how I do that this is my eyelash and I like to use the Dual glue so I'm going to apply my glue on the Lash band so this is definitely not a light layer I think I overdid it so I'm going to put this down to dry down a tght bit so you want to wait for the glue to get tacky slightly sticky and dry down you're going to pick up your mirror look down and apply that on your lash line just like so so and then you're going to drag it and stick the end down and then stick the front part down as well yeah we're going to move on to the base we're going to start off with primer personally I have oily combination skin so using a primer really works for my skin type cuz it helps to control oils also if you have dry skin you can use a moisturizing primer so that your skin retains moisture while you wear your makeup I've heard a lot of people say primers do not work but personally I think if you get a good primer that works for your skin type is actually quite useful the next step is foundation if you're using a full coverage foundation and you find that your foundation tends to turn gray on certain areas on your face maybe around your mouth or under your eyes is because you need color correction means your foundation is not color correcting enough for your skin so you definitely need a color corrector before you apply foundation this is my Huda Beauty full filter color corrector in the shade papaya color correction is definitely optional if you don't find a use for color correction or you feel like it's an extra step definitely skip that what you want to do is to let your your color corrector sit on your face to dry down or use a light layer of setting powder to set it down before you go in with the foundation so that it doesn't mix in with the foundation and you end up looking orange or use less color corrector Next Step you want to go in with a sponge to pick up any excess [Music] product next step is to put some Dimension back into your face you need a cream Contour fairly your product that is two to three Shades Darker than your foundation shade to put some shadows and structure back into your face I'm going into my Huda Beauty stick foundation and I'm using the shade Coffee Bean I'm going to apply that on here here here and here also going to apply that onto the sides of the bridge of my nose and down here as well so you would usually want to blend this out and then go in with your next product but I'm going to apply my concealer because I want it to sit down so that it will give me much more coverage so I'm going in with my Too Faced bone this way concealer and I'm going to apply that [Music] here going to go ahead and blend in the Contour [Music] [Music] [Music] product [Music] [Music] [Music] sh [Music] sponge [Music] [Music] let [Music] [Music] back in with a contour brush to blend out any hash [Music] lines okay so the next step you should take is to set the liquids and the cream on your face I'm going to start off by setting my under eye and the areas that I applied the lighter concealer to I'm using my light powder so that I don't lose the dimensions that I have created on my skin I'm going to go on and iron out any creases so that I don't end up setting creases I usually crease under my eyes so I like to iron out those creases before I go ahead and set those areas so I'm going to go in with this Spong sometimes I use a puff Powder Puff next step is to set the Contour or the cream bronzing that you applied so I'm going in with a bronzer going back in with the same brush that I used to blend out my bronzer I'm going to use that to set the bronzer next step is to set the rest of your face so I'm going in with a powder that is close to my skin tone to do that I'm going in with my powder brush and I'm going to push that powder in everywhere else now to complete the eye makeup we are going to complete the lower part of the Lash line I like to use a black eyeliner to tight line I just put it in here go back and forth a few times then I'm going to go into the dark brown that I used to smoke it out the next step is to apply blush if you're not a blush girl you can skip that I am a cream liquid powder blush girly I love blush I chose to take this out of the tutorial cuz I know not everybody is a blush girly so the next step is to go ahead and set your face with some setting spray I always suggest using mascara after setting spray cuz not all mascaras are waterproof and you don't want to set your face up mascara and your makeup ruin to find out your mascara is not waterproof next step is lip liner you want to use a dark brown lip liner cuz I feel like it goes with every lip color in my opinion then you want to go in with your lip stick or lip gloss I like to use lipsticks matte [Music] [Music] lipstick then some lip gloss [Music] so this is the finished look I hope you guys enjoyed this video if you did enjoy this video give this video a thumbs up
