hello and welcome to a new video i'm excited for this video because i'm going to be teaching you how to apply strip lashes this is a beginner's video so if you are already skilled in this get to the back beginners come to the front let's get into it first things first you're gonna need some lashes i got this pack off amazon i'll leave a link in the description area if you want this i have my lashes of choice right here take your lashes i like to hold it towards the end rather than the middle because i have better movement so you're going to want to take that lash and just place it along your lash line with no glue on it you want to measure the lash on your lash line make sure that it's not going completely to the center of your eye because that will be uncomfortable but that it is at least making its way towards the end of your lash line i definitely have a longer lash line than most people so if your lashes are longer than your lash line go ahead and make a trim towards the end of the lashes just so that they fit comfortably on your eye essentially that is how this lash is going to look once it's actually glued on if you are experiencing stiff lashes just grab the front and the end like this and gently rock it back and forth this will give it some type of flexibility this will give it some type of curve so that it better lays on your lashes so once you feel comfortable with your eyelash length go ahead and start practicing this application motion so what i like to do if my mirror is right in front of me like this i like to tilt my head up a little bit and then i'm going to apply the lashes downward because then i could keep my eyes open still and see where the lashes are actually landing rather than having to look head-on like this and then try to apply like that so i tilt my head up at least be able to see up your nose that's how you know you're doing it right and then i'm going to practice that motion you want to place it as close as you can to your actual lash line and aiming for the middle and the end to be the first thing that sticks down just keep practicing that motion until you feel confident that you can go ahead and put some glue on and move forward to the next step so step three it's time to apply the glue to the lashes so still holding on to the end part of these lashes i'm gonna take the glue right across the top of this lash line [Music] so if you see i like to focus the lash glue right along the lash strip not so much underneath it right here but if i straighten my hand out i like to focus it right along the lash line because that's what's going to be placed on my eyelid so as you can see it goes straight across like this and i'm just bending it downward to double check that it's fully even right across the lash line i like to apply the lashes when the glue is about 75 to 80 percent dry it gets like a dark gray color and i like doing it then because if i do make a mistake i still can readjust it and if i don't make a mistake it still has enough stick to it that it won't move as much so as much as i could sit here and wait and wave this around until it gets to my preferred dryness i really do use a blow dryer because it just makes the process so much faster i put it on medium and i slowly blow that air right along the lashes so now you can see that that color that light gray color has now turned a dark gray color which means it's time to apply the lashes don't worry if you mess up i've messed up so many times so don't worry take your time it's just lashes at the end of the day just lashes so i got my mirror right here i'm gonna tilt my head back and like i said i'm holding the ends of the lashes and my goal is to apply the middle and the end first so then i can go and move the inner corner the way i see fit [Music] once i like the spot that it's in i just apply a little bit of pressure now you can see the ends are applied i'm going to move inward and now apply that inner corner now once you like where it's applied don't mess with it just let it dry let it do its thing sometimes i do like to close my eye and take a blow dryer across the top of it but i'm in no brush just gonna let it dry okay beautiful i love when things happen because then i can you know damage control damage control so as you can see this inner corner has lifted and it's lifted because i was talking and i let the glue dry longer than it should have instead of having to completely remove the strip lash and start all over again what am i gonna do so i'm gonna take my lash glue and i'm gonna apply a little bit of the lash glue right here on my hand so where you place this lash glue is completely up to preference sometimes i apply it above my lashes onto my skin and then i readjust the lash or i try to flip the lashes upward like this and then apply it back onto the lash strip just because i don't want to ruin the layout of the lashes already i'm just going to push the lash upward a bit and then i'm going to apply the glue onto my skin where i want the lash to hold onto you can use a brush or whatever is easier but i'm going to be using the very end of my tweezers it's starting to dry already so i'm just going to go into the middle with my tweezer tool i just went right above my lashes you can go ahead and use your fingers and replace that lash or you can use the tweezers to grab the lash and hold it down on top of that glue okay so it's pretty much in place damage control i would definitely say using the tweezers is a bit easier when it comes to the inner corner because you can see exactly where you're placing that lash so if this is an issue that arises when you're doing your lashes you have to go back in you have to readjust whatever the case may be once you get it placed exactly where you want it to go i highly suggest letting it dry you can use the blow dryer method like i showed you just letting warm air run across it or you can take a fan as well and speed up the drying process alright so this lash is completely set with a little trial and error which is normal you can go ahead and feel free to leave looking like that or if you want to get a little cleaner look i don't know if the camera is catching it but my lashes are literally right underneath and if you're close enough you can see the separation of my lashes and the lash strip i want it to look pretty seamless as seamless as possible sometimes i like to go in with my fingers first and i do this pinching motion on my lashes and then on the strip lashes but i try to do it as close as possible to my lash line [Music] the little bit of glue that's underneath the strip lashes my lashes kind of adhere to it so they naturally go in the motion of the strip lashes so even if you have to close your eyes just close it and pinch along the lash line sometimes this pinching motion works for me sometimes i have to go in with some mascara just against my lashes and then i pinch my lashes against the strip lashes just to hide it but for right now this pinching motion worked perfectly for me no matter where i turn you will not see my natural lash line all right i think that's everything y'all that is how i apply strip lashes every time how do they look y'all i hope this step by step made you feel at least a little bit more confident when it comes to applying strip lashes on your own please give this video a thumbs up and leave a comment down below just so i know let me know let me know because i'll be just sitting here just like does it work does it not work i don't know and if you'd like to see
