it got me into uh games again after i fell out of love with them many years ago did it really yeah there was a point when i stopped playing games like i don't think i like games anymore what's wrong with me yeah i've been there and then i played this and i was like oh wait i do like games there's just there's been no good games lately and that was dark souls for me yeah yeah yeah dark souls also added on to that and then on the first day i love this intro i set the controller down so i don't automatically or accidentally skip it this footage is sweet that's a bunch of irish people walking out of ireland look at this what the f god that's so cool it is really cool that gets my dick wisley is it the corneria from starfax oh yeah oh yeah a lot of people complain that the brass in this game sounds it sounds like an old midi keyboard i love it i think it's sweet yeah i like it i honestly [ __ ] love this yeah i'm so stoked my brother's gonna be so happy we're playing this because he's try to parry him first try baby matthew perry here we go i gotta kick him first you know the first time i played this um i just watched that really cool intro yeah and i was like i can't wait to be like that and then this started it was all like slow and like you know it's like really slow and i'm like this is [ __ ] but then when i got to the first boss and beat it i was like i feel like a overpowered yeah it works pretty good though come here girl uh i actually like how these guys look too yeah they look like monsters in the descent i want to get another parry it felt real good you're a good boy dude the combat feels so good and this was like their first crack at it stupid yeah like this game is i want to play this to the end how come all these [ __ ] geniuses are called miyazaki huh i know what's this what's the stitch with that oh yeah um in this there's there's no estes flask so you need to eat grass i'm like a dog trying to throw up just eating breath i got my earlobe uh oh yeah you get a super cool like the camera gets all up in it i thought they all do that no i in dark souls the camera doesn't do that it it stays in like one place i'm pretty sure or it's not as exaggerated i like that a lot though which in was it dark souls two or three they took away the ragdoll uh i think it might be two because i'm pretty sure it's in three that you can fling stuff around because you you can do it in bloodborne i kind of wish they'd just leave it alone yeah that's like a thing that objectively makes it look stupid but it's hilarious and yeah you don't want it to be trying to be this now literally every game reviewer will be like it has dark souls type combat when it's just like a sword and a shield yeah but i mean it really did change stuff it has that solid feeling that like like not just like uh not just the combat and the game just like everything's trying to be like gritty medieval [ __ ] now yeah and you can't blame them i'm scared yeah there's a like a prison level on demon souls right doesn't that suck that one's really scary i remember watching isaac play that there's no weird how like this is like exactly what dark souls 2 was trying to do with the like light mechanic yeah except that this is actually committing to it yeah that dark souls 2 it ended up looking like [ __ ] they didn't do it they just like it's still bright those eventually realized i had no shame looking up [ __ ] every second that i was like how does this work yeah it would have been cool playing dark souls back in like the no internet days even like that drifting around the racetrack perfectly every time there's like the initial d song playing yeah it comes back to it it's [ __ ] it's so scary that's awesome but terrifying if they apply that to a game like this like you would never be able to defeat anything no well yeah i've actually never thought about that there will be great view ahead rate it rate it rate it what do you press to rate i think this one they all feel like really unique cool places yeah kind of have some like cohesiveness in the world you know what else is cool about these guys you can flame them no they always uh drop a uh an unknown soldier's soul so it seems like they took the souls of men and put them in these things that's some do you ever watch the vati vidya uh yeah you still he breaks down the stories yeah you're doing some insight like that like well if they had this item that must mean that they [ __ ] i'm probably wrong i don't know but no i think that's that seems about right sense yeah it's down here is this your right face what's your nose sniffing god they're so cool yeah i know i think they're like the way they walk with their long ass arms they look kind of like gorillas and their wings are so tall it really reminds me of the harpies and uh jason and the argonauts you need to watch that so cool i do no these these guys are probably my favorite enemies we've encountered so far they're really sweet they've always been mine i like the motion blur on their eyes like i don't know if that's just the game tweaking but it looks really good dark souls has motion blur on everything right i think so his wings sure don't motion blur is weird most of the time i think it just looks like [ __ ] and it hurts my eyes but then other times i'm like oh that actually looks real good i've never had a problem with it i think if it's on like people and things and objects it's fine it's when it's on the surroundings yeah that you're like whoa what's going on like in dead rising one they handle the grid dead rising one still looks really good and for how old it is that it was like an early 360 game it it's impressive freaking love that game i've never beaten it really yeah i never never played it all the way through that's a game where like everything about it is fun but the actual main thing to do is the least fun of anything yeah oh that's the whole i was supposed to go to town on it no
