[Music] [Music] hey guys welcome back to the channel hey do me a favor hit that thumbs up subscribe to the channel going for 25 000 subscribers help me do that hit the little bell notification so you know when i put out a new video hope everybody had a good memorial day weekend uh we just stuck around here laid low hope everybody was safe we had our first we had our first family fire pit first fire let's go me and the girls and michelle is pretty fun got that pile of wood over there hey busy day today we're going to get some augers service a silo we are going to start shopping if we can we build we mowed the the headlands of that field we're about to chop we're going to round bale that so when dad goes to chop he just goes up and back you don't have to waste his time chopping the headlamps the end rows so we're going to round bale that first and then we're going to get service in and get dropping so it's going to be a good one going to be hot let's go [Music] next on the agenda we're going to put these augers in the haystail they don't give these things away look at the knives that he's so tough you got to replace these every few years so we replacing them servicing that silo motor and we're going to hoist it up hook this up start filling oh hang on cody grab the end there we're gonna fish it in tool nice and easy hey guys cody made his return he missed us attaboy code yup walking like a ladder get out of there good let's go cody's out cody say hi to everybody [Music] so [Music] good for right now [Music] airbox low [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Applause] [Music] okay [Music] [Music] are you doing today cody [Music] it's a nasty job someone's got to do it me and greg tagged him in that getting ready to hoist that up we're gonna hook that up here see dad you can hear him can you hear that out there he's out there filling these wagons let's check this stuff out ah it's getting dry hot we got to get moving yeah i haven't climbed the top one of these in a while last year so that's cranking all the way up that'll sit up there dangle while the feed blows up the pipe through here and it'll land here just underneath there and then when it's full we'll level it flat let that down it'll throw it out all the other end dad's out back here in our back door chopping getting most of it off right there nice day breezy beautiful up here when this loader gets about 10 feet from the top i'll yell down tell him 10 feet tell him get ready to stop so they'll pull it right through the roof of this thing ten feet five feet look at that new augers man look at them thanks how [Music] oh [Music] so [Music] just like that away we go [Music] [Applause] yeah you see i got a water hose running running with that feed going up there it helps you're not wetting it down what you're doing is you're you're creating like a a slip and slide through that pipe so you don't plug but too much water if you forget to shut that off between loads you're gonna have a major problem but well remember to do it that way it just kind of shoots right up the pipe that's what the idea that is [Music] yeah she's not overly wet getting drier with this heat but we want to put some drier stuff on the bottom if you're going to put it anywhere you put on the bottom because if it's too wet it'll rot the silence you know i remember last year i think i juiced the silo you don't want to do that but that we ended up taking this field out back that older hayfield grassy or stuff decided to put it on the bottom it was thinner probably only going to get 10 loads off it and then we'll be done but we want to start with some thinner stuff in case there was a problem except lower some didn't or that chopper didn't take off or any of this stuff but it seems to be going good should be out of there today one shot i mean we've got eight of these wagons fill them up i'll unload them we'll move down to that heavier thicker alfalfa [Music] [Music] so [Music] so so so he's back he's gonna shut down tonight where's the ring [Music] guys and we're back hey hope you liked the video everything seemed to work to our advantage today in our favor servicing the silo getting up there checking over and filling so that was pretty cool uh next video i'll get you in the office and i'll show you exactly where we're chopping hopefully by then we're on our second silo if everything goes right we're gonna be done they're talking blue skies and and hot 80 90 degrees so we're just gonna go all the way until we're done and and then we'll move on the sprayer sprayer's about set it's about ready so we'll move on to that too so hit that thumbs up going for 25 000 subscribers appreciate it hit the bell notification and farmfocus.com get your shirt or a hat thanks for the support okay god bless see in the next one you
