decorating baby #2's nursery! new wallpaper, crib, & home decor haul!

[Music] [Applause] good morning guys and welcome to today's vlog i'm so excited for today because we're putting together the crib and putting up the new wallpaper i feel like there's a lot of different things we're doing at the house i've got to change out some lights we're gonna pop try and take the wallpaper downstairs yeah the old wallpaper into yeah we've got a lot of projects we're doing so yeah which i'm super excited about i've been waiting for everything to come i still don't have everything but we did get a lot of stuff i like a rug sitting here which actually is for avery's boyfriend it's not even ours we have the crib right here did you take those other boxes up yeah parker took some other boxes upstairs i'm still waiting on a few things for like cove's bedding talk about it all later basically because we just like don't have everything but we do have a lot of stuff and i'm so excited and after my doctor's appointment yesterday i just feel like we need to get everything done this week organizing everything getting the rooms done oh look how cute oh she opened her eyes her eyes were closed but anyways i was planning on which obviously we don't know when the baby's gonna come but i don't know now i just am like feeling even more like maybe she would come early and i just wanna have like everything done and ready to go yeah that's what we are working on this week so it's gonna be a busy week of just like finishing stuff up and then hopefully next week we can just chill and then maybe she would come like then week after that so well right now i don't know what i'm saying oh okay anyways we're going quality content yeah we're going downstairs for uh to get a workout we're gonna work out yeah cove's watching a show for a minute we got these lights to replace these lights these this one's going out and they've noticed yeah i did here oh yeah so yeah quality content we organized the basement yesterday and then cold came down here and wanted to play so it's organized but it's not clean it's kind of the point of the basement though you know yeah i don't know out of sight out of mind i really only care if the main floor is like organized which and she's gonna burn about 88 calories parker's picking out his class because he's gonna do this today i think i'm just gonna stretch because i honestly feel so tired but we are gonna have the link to even really get started yet all right so we are up in cove's room parker's attempting to brush her teeth literally the worst part of my day every day because she freaks out with us most of the time but i have the new wallpaper in here so if you guys didn't see our other video where i was like talking about what i want to do with the rooms i still have not like fully decided what i'm gonna do because we have rooms up here enough rooms for like each baby but this one is the closest to our room so we kind of wanted to put the new baby in here so we can like hear her if she cries in the night we're not gonna be putting her in here for like a long time like in her actual room at night so i think we're keeping cove in here for now and then i'll switch them eventually so i have the new baby stuff in the other room so we're like decorating the nursery but cove is like staying in here and it's kind of like already done and decorated yeah but i'm also waiting on cove's new bed like we're just not ready to switch her to a toddler bed yet i think she's too young and she just like wouldn't do well with that yet so we did get her mattress should we go show him your new big girl bed i have some diapers that i need to put in the closet i have clothes halloween costume she's decked out in paw patrol the only clothes that she'll wear woohoo so we got her this mattress and then the actual bed frame is it coming from australia i don't know when it will even be here at least like a month or two so i don't know if we should put the crib in here the only thing i'm thinking the new crib yeah the new crib is gonna have to be taken apart like if we put it in here i'm gonna have to just take it apart and move it into there it won't fit through this door yeah so that's why i'm kind of thinking that we put it in here i don't know we're just not gonna move in here yeah because i don't want to switch cove's room like we don't need to switch her room it won't be for a few months right so let's just put it together in here so yeah we're going to put the new crypt together in here and then when we actually get cove's bed which we don't have to switch cove rooms and we have the baby monitor so like we get notifications like if the baby you know makes noise or something so that's the only reason i was wanting to like switch the rooms because the other one is closer to us i don't know and then now we have this mattress in here which i think we're gonna have to put like in the closet like put it away or something if we have a crib in here likes to come and jump on it but i think let's start with the wallpaper a paw patrol girl all right so we're taking down my all my hard work we're just ripping it right off the wall no we're we're moving it to a different room i think we want to put this wallpaper downstairs in the basement in like the under the stairs little play closet so we're gonna try to save it this is from loomwell which is our favorite wallpaper company and it's like removable and non-damaging to your walls so this print is super cute and we're gonna try and move it and because that space is smaller so i think we had to cut this panel or no did we cut that one i don't know anyways we should be able to use like just what's on this wall for down there and then i showed you guys this a while ago too this is a new one this one is so cute it's like boho floral it's gonna be a lot harder to put up probably but it's kind of busier so maybe it's better if you like don't notice like maybe i don't know yeah it usually just will come right off the wall i don't know if it's really meant to be reused but you like can't it is reusable yeah so yeah we're gonna pull that down i guess put together the crib in the other room and then i did get some new handles for these that are gold so we're just making like random changes in both rooms basically [Music] all right so cove is napping so we had to take a break from the wallpaper all right we're eating lunch yeah parker's showing me the routine the right way to make tea okay aspen will pour the hot water in and then put her tea bag in and then like put her stuff in where what you need to do is you put the tea bag in the water you're gonna put the lemon in okay let it soak through that tea bag right sure then you're gonna get your honey put that down and let it marinate in that tea bag too now it's getting all the juices marinating in there you want to pour the water through the tea bag so it's like dissolving into it i don't know you don't know are you gonna have some too no it's my raspberry leaf tea that they say helps i don't know i forget what your cramps or something right i think it's supposed to like prepare your cervix for labor or something and then this is another thing that aspen doesn't do after that she'll just drink the tea like doesn't even push on the tea bag and like get the tea out of the tea press it against the side with a spoon i didn't know these tips i'm having veggies and rice and watermelon parker's having a cup of noodles we're taking a break for a second and then i think we're going to do the crib so i want to get it done when cove is napping because it's easier to get things done all right we unbox well parker are you trying to give yourself credit this took me so long i said it would help every single piece was wrapped in like tissue paper really so it was like i feel like it was fast i had like maybe 20 minutes worth of stuff to do on the computer so i was like oh unboxing out there well i'm saying i feel like i got my stuff done quick so i was like i'll just unbox it and then i'll help you like as soon as i'm done i'm finished and you're you're done and brought everything up here yeah so i think what we're going to do is we're going to use first for the toddler bed she's not big enough for toddler bed we will eventually yeah so i think what we're gonna do put this crib in here keep cove's bed in there put up the new wallpaper in there keep covering there for a while like i said because we're just not moving her bed i can't remember what i was even saying now but anyways we're putting the crib in here and then i'll just cross that bridge when i get to it of like we're moving the baby up here and who do i want to put in what room and whatever so new cribs going in here new wallpapers going in there i did get so basically it's all just like mix and match of like new stuff in some rooms um i do have all this stuff from urban that i'm gonna open in a second but have you read the instructions yet for this is it going to take us forever no it's super easy this is from sacred bundle which is an australian brand this is actually the brand of the bassinet that we have and i love it so i'm super excited to have a crib from them i need you to set that camera down okay we're also going to switch out this light so it's not a blue light anymore [Music] i ordered a new crib sheet but it doesn't come until wednesday so i actually ordered two because for cove we always had two and then for this baby we'll have two too so right now i only have one i think we should put that in the closet for now just because i want everything to like feel clean and then we'll get it out because colt likes to jump on it but looks so cute now i'm gonna unbox actually can you open them and hand them to me so i don't know what of this i'm gonna keep now that i have like the baby stuff in here but i got her this blanket so this is stuff that's supposed to be for coke's toddler bed obviously i don't have that right now and i'm not gonna have it for a while but i got her this cute blanket for that and i also always all that there is this is the world's smallest haul probably oh that's all i got these two floor cushions cove like love stuff like this and climbing on it so i got these to put over here but then i actually moved a basket up over there to put her blanket in so i might return these but i'm gonna see if she like likes them and wants to play with them because she just loves like climbing on stuff but i got a pink floor cushion and white floor cushion and then i've got a bunch of other stuff i wonder what's like at the mailbox let me see i got her some bedding but again it's for toddler bed so i wasn't gonna like set that up for a little bit i think i just got a couple pillows so i'll show that later but parker's gonna finish the wallpaper yeah i need to like get this cleaned up in here because it's kind of a mess so we've made progress in here so like i said i'm waiting for cove's toddler bed it's coming from an australian company and i have an order of like a bunch of other stuff i have like a little mirror and some other stuff like that yeah there's gonna be more stuff added to this room so like we've been filming like random clips all day so i can't remember what i said but for now this is baby's room that's cove's room and we'll probably switch them eventually but this isn't going to be like finished all the way until i get that other stuff because i have a cute little mirror i want to put right here we're going to take these down to the basement we have a bunch of garbage we need to take down and the wallpaper is finished it looks so so cute i love it so yeah basically we didn't change too much in this room besides swapping that out we haven't hung up the other one downstairs yet we'll probably do that tomorrow because this has been like a long day but i also got new handles to put on these so we're gonna do that i just got these from amazon they're gold the other ones were like kind of brassy or like bronzy i don't know where they are because coke took them but anyways this looks so cute i love it and that is all the footage that we got for today thank
